6debd29cb7 Iterative Explosions (#3838)
This PR replaces recursive explosions with a new spreading engine: iterative explosions.
Should behave similarly, but also be more reliable, potentially faster.

Iterative explosions also support simple-explosion-esque directional explosion sounds/shake, and will now traverse Z-levels if the explosion is strong enough.

Also changes playsound() to transmit sounds across Z-levels. Uses BYOND's 3rd coordinate on /sound to make sound sound above/below the player if they're using headphones. Removed for now, can't get Z-falloff working right.

ebc9b81ee1 Adds more loadout options, underwear options and increases the loadout limit points (#3943)
-adds towels, which you can find at the fitness room, or at the loadout with whatever color you want
-adds new undershirt options at people's requests
-adds a colorable sweater to the loadout, from baystation
-adds more flower hairpin options
-increases the max loadout points by five
-fix an issue with the tactical armor having the holster overlay when it should not

58519daeba Recharger QoL Tweaks (#3826)
changes:

Rechargers now briefly show a progress bar showing the current charge level of the device currently charging.
Examining a recharger will now specify what is in the charger.
Atoms can now mark themselves as requiring an icon update on initialize instead of overriding Initialize() just to call update_icon().
Charger code is now slightly more modular, using proc/get_cell() to get a ref to the power cell instead of hard-coded if-else chains for each supported type.

61b5203d24 Runtime Map Loading (#3597)
changes:

Maps are no longer compiled in, instead loaded directly from the DMMs at runtime.
Z level defines have been moved from the config to map datums.
Unit tests now use typecaches.
DMMS now actually works.
DMMS has been updated slightly.
DMMS is now capable of loading simple lists of non-text types.
DMMS is now faster when loading many types without mapped in attributes and when loading area instances.
Asteroid generation is now defined on the map datum instead of being hard-coded in SSasteroid.
Holodeck presets are now defined on the map datum.
Atmos machinery now uses Initialize().

ee686e9276 APC & Fire Alarm offset tweaks (#3502)
changes:

APCs now have directional sprites for WEST and EAST directions.
Fire Alarms' offsets are now enforced similarly to APCs'.
Fire Alarms now have mapper convenience types for each direction to make mapping them easier.
All fire alarms on the map have been replaced with the above convenience types, fixing some strange offsets in the process.
APCs no longer pre-create their spark effect datum, instead using the spark() proc.

Fixed #3203.
Tajara or Unathi CEs now get gloves that actually fit them.
OOs now respect direction changes from their mimicked object.
Replaced all references to trange() with RANGE_TURFS().
Replaced all references to is_type_in_oview() with locate() in oview().
Fixed a runtime caused by recursive explosions falling off the edges of the map.
Carp despawn now works properly with the new asteroid turfs.
Carp despawn now uses WEAKREF instead of SOFTREF.
Added tick-checks to the carp migration event.
Vaurca now have the IS_VAURCA reagent_tag.
Cleaned up butanol alien handling a bit.

With the introduction of PR #3023 , 510 and lower are no longer supported. So I removed all compile time defines that were meant to allow for its support and bumped the compiler error guard.

Ports a new type of reference from bay: weakrefs.

They validate type like hard-refs, but don't block GC like soft-refs. Performance-wise are worse than both, but generally more convenient than softrefs.

Holomaps now use an area flag instead of a proc to determine which areas do not draw on the holomap.
The supply shuttle once more has a roof.
The supply shuttle's landing zone is now dynamically lit.
Turfs only generate visibility updates on Initialize() after mapload - visualnet is not initialized by then anyways.
Merged /datum/gas_mixture/(init) into /datum/gas_mixture/New().
Converted a ZAS proc into a macro.
Made ZAS attempt to remove a turf from a zone instead of always rebuilding it in a certain case.
Macroized two misc procs.
Fixes #2947.

7419971a02 Vision flag tweaks (#2779)
Normalizes some vision flag operations & adds SEE_BLACKNESS to all mobs if the compiler supports it.
Shouldn't break 510 clients even if the server is 511 & using SEE_BLACKNESS.
Should fix some visual glitches with wall-mounted objects being visible when the wall they're on isn't visible.

a50d0a8390 Machinery performance tweaks (#1744)
changes:

Machines' process() has been separated from auto_use_power().
Lights no longer process() and instead use auto_use_power() for power calculations.
Computers that didn't really need to process() no longer process().
Airlocks now use the scheduler to auto-close instead of process()ing.
Fixed a bug where clicking on an AI Status display to set its status did not work.

f544fe43b1 Processor-driven effects system & Minor Lighting Performance Tweaks (#1697)
Adds a new process-based effects system with the goal of reducing insane lag from sparks.
Currently only supports sparks, but should be easily extendable to other types of effects.
Also fixes a bug with airlocks where the light from bolts wasn't updating.

Refactors bears slightly to reduce duplicated code & pointless spark object creation and destruction.
Lighting profiler will now log /turf locations & names correctly.
Doors will no longer trigger way more visibility checks than they need to.

This is it. The big one.
Risk: Very large. This modifies or rewrites several important systems.
Some things still need balancing, but that's probably better done if/when this hits dev.

changes:

New smooth lighting system.
Machinery split into three processes: machinery, powernet, pipenet Removed due to breakage. Refactored into multi-step process.
Mob process rewritten.
NanoUI process rewritten.
Objects process rewritten.
Tweaked color output of station lights.
Slime core lights now emit colored light.
Fixed light update frequency issue with fire alarms, hydroponics trays, and airlocks.
Increased light emission from bolted airlocks.
Miscellaneous performance improvements.
New datum pool implementation.
New lighting usage profiler.
Lighting system now tracks UV light, which is not visible to players.
Space now has a parallax effect.
Disabled Spin View verbs due to incompatibility with the new lighting system.
Disabled hallucination view spin due to incompatibility with the new lighting system.
Lighting system now initializes in the lobby before the round starts to reduce BoR deadtime.
Added UV light tracking to lighting engine; dionae now gain energy exclusively from UV light.
Added colored lighting to a few consoles that used default (white) light.

The downloader and the file manager no longer come default on any device.
A client enrollment app comes now with every console
The user has to select weather the device is a private or company device and select a software preset if its a work console
Work devices are locked down to a specific set of programs
Private devices get the downloader and the file manager to install programs as usual.
Threw out the backup of the old-old camera monitor.
Made software presets a generic thing that are not dependant on the form factor of a device.
Ported holowarrants from bay
Ported wall mounted consoles from bay
Ported various computer fixes from bay
Vending machines spawn now with the holowarrant "client"
Mapping changes:

CE and HoS dont get a modular computer with command preset (they did not have that before bay merge, so why should they now)
Added a modular computer with command preset to the head of staff briefing room
Replaced the camera monitoring console in the Engine Control room with a modular computer
Replaced the cam monitor in the CE´s office with a wall mounted console
Switched places of the bar sink and console
Replaced the consoles with obj/item consoles
Mapped in the ERT and Merc Console (Merc Shuttle, ERT Area)
Fixed the "border" at the heisters base
Also waiting for CCIA on a design for the warrants.
But that can be changed with a follow up pull

74f29a6c22 Table and Crate interactions (#1353)
Inspired partially by complaints about my changes to crates that made them hard to shoot open. This PR adds two main features which interact:

Crates can now be slid under tables, making them easier to stow away. A crate only fits under a table while closed, and can't be opened while under there.

Crates can now be hoisted up ontop of a table, this takes time depending on the mass of the crate. A crate ontop of a table works as normal, and it will also always block shots, making a table the ideal platform for firing an emitter at one.

A table can have a crate both under and ontop of it, allowing two crates to be stored on one tile, at some cost of convenience and effort. The crates have their pixel offsets modified so that both of them can be seen at once.

51bd200d7c Porting Apollo Infractions Computer (#1033)
Ports Apollo's infraction's system, creating a permanent criminal record for every character. Every minor or medium infraction accrued over the course of a round is added to the character's permanent security record which is available at vanilla records councils. Antagonists are automatically exempt from this process, and players can exercise control over what charges they consider canon or not.

Brigging a person is now dependent on the criminal sentencing computer, which reads a person's ID and applies a brig timer automatically for the charges selected. Personnel without ID's will have to be brigged manually.
