MrMelbertandGitHub ef28e00690 [MDB Ignore] Refactors gauze, adds Tourniquets (#95041)
## About The Pull Request

1. Refactors gauze

Removes gauze var from `/stack`, adds a shared parent between tape and
gauze.
Behavior of "sticking thing on limb" is now a bit more generic, with
there being a component to facilitate it and a framework on `/bodypart`

Closes #92990

2. Adds Tourniquets

A first aid item, when attached to a limb it reduces blood loss from
that limb by 90%.
However while attached you walk slower (if on a leg), interact slower
(if on a arm), and yes, you rapidly die if you put it on your head

Paramedic belts have their starting equipment changed again for the
500th time.
Surgical tape -> Tourniquet
Bone gel -> Bonesetter

## Why It's Good For The Game

Adds some more variety for field treatment of bleeding wounds, and in
the future we can add things like "improvised tourniquets" or
"improvised splints" with wooden planks.

## Changelog

🆑 Melbert
add: Adds Tourniquets. While attached to a limb, reduces blood loss from
that limb by 90%, but makes you walk / interact slower. (Or if you put
it on your head, you die.)
add: You can purchase Tourniquets from the premium section of the
medical vendor
add: Paramedic belt setup has changed yet again: Surgical tape replaced
with Tourniquet, Bone gel replaced with Bonesetter.
add: You can use all forms of tape as splint - like Gauze. Will secure a
fracture but won't stop your blood from exiting.
refactor: Refactored gauze entirely, report any strangeness with it (or
tape, or tourniquets)

ArcaneMusicandGitHub ea883deda7 Decreases multitool credit cost, increases quantity from vending machines. (#95076)
## About The Pull Request

Based on feedback from #94903, this PR decreases the cost of multitools
from the youtool vendor, as well as increases the quantity available
from the premium section from 2 to 4. The cost has been adjusted from
300 credits -> 150 credits each.

This change is being atomized out of the linked PR above, but is
otherwise relatively simple.

## Why It's Good For The Game

To quote the previous PR this was atomized out of:

> Multitools are considered to be standard job equipment for about 1/3
of the jobs on station, and the jobs that don't have multitools,
assistants included, typically will make obtaining one part of their
roundstart routine. It was looking into this that led me to learn that
multitools are currently sitting at 300 credits, which, while expensive,
just means that roundstart players are more tempted to just break into
or ask cargo/engineering for a multitool instead of ever buying one, and
for good reason. It's too good to pass up, especially when it's only one
door or plastic flap away for most players.

> So, to try and incentivize people to buy them from vendors over the
alternative, I've decreased the price to be within the range for regular
crew, but expensive enough for assistants so that they're encouraged to
look for/make a few credits, or wait a moment or two before they jump
into them.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Multitools cost has been decreased from youtool vendors, and
their stock increased (150 credits, 4 stock).

## About The Pull Request

John WillardandGitHub 92fb372a8c Adds the monastery monitor (#94160)
## About The Pull Request

I'm working on a pubby update for the map depot for admins to run, and
thought I should throw this here. Removes a varedit from Pubby and makes
the monastery telescreen replaceable by making it researchable and
printable through the service techfab.

Also re-adds the pubby map wall item, using the new map item outlines.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Repairability for a map that seems to be ran frequently by admins
(judging by it getting actual issue reports), this has no effect
otherwise.

c0f8e7bb5c Multiload Second Pass (ft. Speedloaders Will Be Real In 2025) (#92854)
## About The Pull Request
Gets, yet again, more granular with multiload capabilities, by
introducing `AMMO_BOX_MULTILOAD_OUT_LOADED`; ammo boxes flagged with
this can speed-load ammo boxes that are currently inside another gun,
like revolver cylinders or internal magazines.

To accomodate for this, the previous flag that covered this,
`AMMO_BOX_MULTILOAD_OUT` can no longer speedload into currently loaded
magazines (e.g. internal magazines, including revolver cylinders).

Also implements a base type for speedloaders, moving .38 and .357
speedloaders along with .310 stripper clips to this type, instead of
being ammo boxes. Also features an UpdatePaths script for mappers, which
is why there's so many files touched - repathing is a pain.

Also also adds fancy types for ammo boxes, magazines, and speedloaders,
which isn't particularly player-facing.

Also also also makes the lionhunter ammo strip for the lionhunter rifle
visually three rounds only instead of being perpetually half-full (or
half-empty, depending on your pessimism).

## Why It's Good For The Game

The hypothetical case of "ammo box that holds shotgun ammo" should
probably... not... teleport as much of its ammo as possible into a
tube-fed shotgun, but should probably still be okay at reloading
magazines that actually go into shotguns. Or something.

More relevant, reloading BR-38 magazines with speedloaders, while funny,
probably also shouldn't be teleporting in six fresh rounds.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: General ammo boxes (not speedloaders, not stripper clips) can
no longer multiload into currently loaded magazines (revolver cylinders,
internal magazines).
balance: Speedloaders are now a separate type from ammo boxes, and can
only multiload into currently loaded magazines e.g. revolver cylinders.
qol: Ammo boxes, magazines, and speedloaders now have fancier types for
spawning in by admins.
sprite: Lionhunter ammo clips are visually smaller now.

M4A5
.460 Rowland revolver
CCK
GP-7
R10 revolver

Guns made inaccessible:
NRI guns (including derringer, bobr, plasmas, Miecz)
Sol35 (Tarkon, sol ERT, gateway, adminspawn)
Sol40 (Tarkon, sol ERT, gateway, adminspawn)
Trappiste caliber (wespe, some already adminspawn weapons)

Turret adjustments:
Twin Fang - 4.6x30mm, 2 Second burst delay (40 dmg every 2 seconds vs 30
dmg every 1.5 seconds (old))
Stinger - 4.6x30mm instead of .35, matching damage
Colonist - .45 added instead of sol40, matching damage
Hoplite - Same as above

Armoury:
Armoury spawned MCRs replaced with laser guns and energy guns
SMG's and rifles with WT
If there would be a case with two separate spawns of a WT, the other is
gone.
Breaching shell boxes do not spawn in the armoury (they were capable of
1 shotting a dark mauler I wish I was kidding)

Lathe:
9mm stendo's, AP, HP, INC magazines not availible for print - the 9mm
murphy magazine is. It fits in 9mm firing turrets and the murphy.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Give me like a couple days and I'll fill this out. I doubt anyone who is
already pro-skyrat-gun will change their mind but it's good to
rationalize the decision regardless.

Find this out as in lay it out on paper.

EDIT 1: Adding the first part

# Foreword
This PR is a *draft*. That means a lot of things are subject to change,
a lot of things can be disorganized and a lot of things will be done
unoptimally. Going forwards, do keep in mind, the decision-making
process behind "remove entirely" and "virtually remove" will not be
dependant on us going forwards, as the decision on this matter requires
maintainer input more than any other.

Next, the delay.
I simply am not a machine, neither are other people onboard this
project. With different timezones, it was important to find what isn't
working so I can relay it to people in working hours.

Without further ado,

## The case of the ammo types and workbench

The ammunitions workbench is a machine that provides ammunition into
clips, refilling them. The ammunition workbench is also the source of a
multitude of alternate ammunition types. It has with itself brought
several issues that at least would warrant a rework or heavy
adjustments:

1. Contraband ammunitions. There is no real reason that the entire
security department, or even a single crewmember should be accessing
phasic weapons in the form of printable ammotypes. The argument of "the
pipegun having it" doesn't do it favours, as the way you get it is an 8%
chance on crafting a junk round for a bulky gun and the only way to find
out if you actually have it is checking each shell individually with a
bandolier.

2. Complimentary with the removals. Most use cases for this machine are
refilling the magazines you can order or get alongside your weapons.
This collides with the protolathe, which sources most of our
upstream-based ammunition instead. With the skyrat weapons gone, this
machine becomes redundant. You may claim that it's still useful in
saving on materials, where you would be right! However is it worth to
have and maintain an entirely separate structure, with it's own
mechanics, map placements, etc. to get a benefit equal to 1.6x more bang
for the buck? At the end of the day, splitting ways of getting ammo
across a single room for something so miniscule compared to the bloat it
adds is pointless.

# The weapons, why should they go, one by one.

### RomTech Flechette rifles
Compared to a standard laser gun, which is in all means our baseline of
ranged damage in ss13 - being the default armoury weapon, the default
laser for turrets and default laser for mobs. Better yet, let's compare
it to that and the default ballistic option that we have from TG.

What turns out, is that not only is the romtech carbine faster at
killing than the laser, but also rivals the WT with a split second of
difference in ttk in the favour of the romtech. Let's assume it's human
error and the WT is better TTK wise, just as an experiment. Clearly,
there must be a tradeoff, somewhere, right? One that balances them all
out to be equal weapons in the grand scale of things, contemporaries!
Well, no, not really. Not even close.

The carbine can be folded to fit in bags, that's one thing. The carbine
has more ammo, that's another thing. Bursts are harder to dodge than
series shots since they cover more perpendicular ground when attempting
to dodge projectiles, as is staple for ss13 combat. Burst weapons are
advantageous in applying more damage quicker, as you can see on the
videos - and initial damage, an alpha strike, applies movement slowdown,
ensuring future projectiles connect easier and the target cannot run.

It might be a coincidence that the only /tg/ derived weapons that fire
burst are adminspawn ERT or the Nukie weapons.

But it doesn't end here, no, the RomTech's ammunition alone would
warrant a complete overhaul if not a removal.

**steel ball**
<p>
Takes 9 shots to stamcrit, deals mixed damage - further increasing the
amount of slowdown applied, and not only is it MUCH faster at
stamcritting than a disabler is, it also leaves the target with 70
damage. Over half their healthbar. Severely overtuned with little
counterplay availible, alpha strike monster that is better at disabling
than disablers and better at stopping people dead in their tracks than
rifles, and if you look at our anti-stun, we have less than ever on
antagonists with Adrenal implants gone, Adreanaline Glands reworked,
etc, etc...
</p>

**Penetrator**

NT's answer to armour!
The penetrator has 60 AP and otherwise the same damage as the AP WT
rifle. Meaning it's a straight upgrade. Meaning this weapon invalidates
it's predecessor whilst being orderable roundstart, and not only that,
but it can fully ignore elite modsuits on nukeops. Not every mechanic
has to have a counter, there's no direct counter to someone healing
after a fight, there is no direct counter to having multiple shots, and
there shouldn't be a full nullification of armour for such a low cost.
There shouldn't be one for a crew that can mass produce these, ever.

**Magnesium**

Arguably fine, 12 firestacks per shot is still quite insane for a lower
chance of friendly fire compared to original incediary hot turfs,

**Ripper**

Steel ball, but even worse. They don't embed a single time, ***this
embeds every time***. It takes several seconds to take out. Actually,
let's compare this gun's bullets to ninja stars.

- 2 times the embed chance at 200 vs 100
- 8 times the jostle chance at 80 vs 10
- Comparable fall chance, at 1 vs 0
- More pain stam pct, at 0.9 vs 0.8, meaning more stamina damage
- More pain chance, at 70 vs 15
- Less pain modifier, at 2 vs 5
- Takes longer to take out, 5 seconds vs 3
- Jostling pain is the same

### One problem. There's three of those fired per burst, cannot be
caught either. And the armour pen is the same.

in conclusion, every aspect of this gun is unhealthy for the game, from
it's gimmick, to it's execution, to it's stats, to it's ammo, to it's
consistency, to it's firing mode, to it being able to be currently worn
on sec belts along disablers - up to 4, if I remember correct.

No reworks. It has to go.

MrMelbertandRoxy b5a53845d9 Decal Painter refactor + merge with tile sprayer + more decals to paint (#91915)
1. Decal painter has been refactored. Decals to paint are now datums.

2. Tile sprayer has been deleted, and merged with the decal painter.

3. A bunch of map decals previously un-paintable are now paintable.

4. Some preset map colors are now available for selection

Including:

- All sidings (Colored, Plating, Wood)
- Missing tile decals (Full tile, checkered tile)
   - And the missing tile decal colors (Dark colors)
- Missing warning decals (Loading area)

1. Makes it drastically easier to add more decals in the future.

2. The split always felt needless to me. I always printed one, ran to my
construction site, opened up the UI - only to realize I printed the
wrong one.

3. Allows for much greater potential while building

4. Makes it easier to match mapped in decals

(This code is commissioned, but I also wanted it, soooo)

5573612a43 Adds .38 Flare, which is a lethal laser bullet casing available for printing with Advanced Beam Weaponry. Adjust ammo material values. (#91726)
## About The Pull Request

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/1332d28c-8d5f-41b7-a614-b74027210145)

Adds the .38 Flare. It does 20 damage. This round highlights the target
for 2 minutes, and projectiles hitting the target always hit the limb
that the shooter was aiming at. Your shot has effectively perfect limb
accuracy, no matter how far the bullet needs to travel. This also
affects other projectiles hitting the target that aren't the .38 Flare.

To indicate whether or not a round in a magazine is either lead or
laser, I've borrowed the implementation of ammo overlays from the C-20r
toy magazines Now each bullet in the speedloaders for .38 can be a
distinct type visibly. Might be interesting if anyone wants to add
additional unique appearances for some of the other .38 rounds.

Reduces the overall cost of a lot of the ammunition in the sec and
autolathe, such as loose bullets. Also reduces the material quantity
within bullet casings.

## Why It's Good For The Game

> .38 Flare

By popular demand, I've come up with a new idea. And that idea...is an
anti-bullet deviation tool. Most players are probably not conscious of
bullet deviation. But if you're familiar with the mechanic, it's why
sometimes your shots may hit into an arm or a leg even though you were
aiming at the head.

The way this works is that over the course of a bullets flight, it
increases in inaccuracy and the pobability of drifting into a limb. From
my last estimate, shooting somewhere around 5 tiles away will usually
result in bullet drift.

While affected by the flare shot, that does not happen. You shoot at the
head, you hit the head.

To put it into perspective; you could consider bullet deviation a form
of damage loss (its a bit more complicated than this and there are
instances where it is positive), and this projectile eliminates that
problem for everyone shooting the target.

> Ammo cost

Some of these were pretty excessive for the cost, and a notable example
of this include the .357 loose casings, .310 Surplus loose casings, and
most shotgun shells. These should go down to roughly below 3/5th of a
sheet of metal when printed from a fully upgraded lathe.

Meanwhile, a single bullet casing was like a sheet of metal each, which
didn't seem right to me. So they're now by default one fifth of a sheet
of metal on recycle.

## Changelog
🆑
add: .38 Flare, a laser bullet! Available in both .38 speedloader and
BR-38 magazine once Advanced Beam Weaponry is researched.
add: .38 Flare highlights the target in an outline and makes sure your
bullets never accidentally hit any limb except the one you are aiming
at. Never accidentally hit someone in the arm when you were going for a
headshot.
balance: Reduces the printing costs of several ammunition types from the
autolathe and security lathe. Reduces the overall material contents of
said printed ammo/magazines. If you find a material dupe, let a coder
know.

df3df27e1d Diagnosis: The Diagnosing (#91361)
Adds more analog diagnostic stuff, and expands on what's already there.
Current content added:

- Custom text for when you examine different kinds of organs with
stethoscopes and penlights.
- Examining eldritchly corrupted organs too closely (stethoscope and
penlight) is a bad idea.
- If you place a metal disk against a guy sparking like a tesla coil,
you get shocked. Go figure.
- If someone has an actively damaging zombie infection (ie. got clawed
by a zombie, not romerol), you can see it on penlight.
- New Hemoanalytic Scanner, for use in places where real health scanners
with actual useful features are too high class. It's able to scan for
medicines in the blood, check blood and oxygen levels, determine if the
scannee has tox damage, and even check their blood type. It's printable
roundstart for iron and glass, so that medbay isn't completely fucked if
science doesn't do their job and they lose their health analyzers
somehow.
- Nifty status effect messages for those tools!

Fun, rarely used systems are being improved, and seeing as how the
easily available, faster health analyzer is basically the end-all be-all
of diagnostic tools anyways, it's not going to unbalance anything unless
i literally make them just a health analyzer but better.
🆑
add: Vaguely estimate what kinds of hearts and lungs people have from a
variety of weird stethoscope noises! (Or just look it up on the pr, I
won't judge.)
add: Using analog diagnostic tools on eldritch organs from beyond the
waking world or people whose hearts cause their skin to arc like a tesla
coil is a bad idea. Examine people, ya goof.
add: You can see if someone has an actively damaging (read: contracted
straight from the groaning hungry source) zombie infection by using a
penlight. Act out highly emotional headshot hesitation scenes today!
add: New Hemoanalytic Scanner (read: really shitty but roundstart
printable chem scanner), which tells you all about someone's blood, and
can also detect medicines in their bloodstream! Not toxins or
miscellaneous reagents though.
refactor: Refactored and added some penlight, stethoscope, and organ
code. If shit is fucked, please report it on the github issue tracker
ASAP.
fix: X-Ray vision generically causes eyes to glow under penlight, not
just specifically the mutation X-Ray vision.
fix: Reflex Hammers now fit in medical storage items, IE. medbelts and
medkits.
balance: People with welding-eyes or similar will not have their pupils
react to penlight examination.

5f3930ba05 Da huge stonking cans update! 2025 edition. (#90318)
## About The Pull Request

## This PR:

* Adds a new type of reagent container; the jerrycan!

* Replaces the nutrient bottles in the nutrimax with cans.

* Adds some prefilled cans to the maint loot table.

### Can knowledge

* Jerrycans can hold a hold an incredible 200u.
* They can be printed roundstart at the auto and protolathes for 2
sheets of plastic.
* They are balanced by being bulky.
* They can be thrown around by without spilling their contents.
* They are not beakers and cannot be used to make grenades.

The upfront cost associated with buying nutrients will be greater, but
it will be cheaper per unit.
I would actually like to charge more but this is not really feasible
right now due to the heavy department discount.

#### Maint loot additions
The new maint loot cans have a low weight so far, collectively appearing
half as often as basic healing items.

The cans that have been added to maint loot are as follows:

* space cleaner ( weight: 2)
* oil (weight: 2)
* diethylamine (weight : 1)
* phlogiston (weight: 1)

#### Reagent overlay code

I have added an option to have reagent containers use a colour matrix to
lighten and increase the contrast of the reagent filling overlay in an
attempt to prevent dark coloured reagents from completely obliterating
all contrast.
The math may need to be tweaked but it should offer some improvement
provided the filling overlay has some contrast to begin with.

## Why It's Good For The Game

The jerrycan is not only a flavourful & setting appropriate way to store
reagents, it also offers several design benefits due to its unique
combination of high roundstart capacity and bulky size.

* It prevents one coworker from hogging a shared reagent container.
* The high volume eases grinding and mixing.
* It allows reagents to be stolen or borrowed due to being stored
outside the safety of an inventory.
* The highly visible inhand sprite allows you to see who is holding or
transporting reagents.
* The smart cap flag increases quality of life by allowing you to throw
the container without spilling.
* It reduces the tedium associated with dispensing and throwing away
botany nutrient bottles, encouraging refilling.
* Bulky size prevent players from looting the can unless it is something
they really want.
* Comes with a large number of visual customisation options for coders
who with to add new variants.

## Throwing away the little nutrient bottles when doing botany sucks!

## Changelog

2a30c6da70 Da huge stonking cans update!

* space cleaner ( weight: 2)
* oil (weight: 2)
* diethylamine (weight : 1)
* phlogiston (weight: 1)

🆑
add: Added a new type of reagent container; the jerrycan.
add: Added some prefilled jerrycans to maint loot.
balance: Botany nutrients now come in bulk packaging.

SmArtKarandShadow-Quill 341090d420 Adds a unit test for techweb design presence, puts some missing designs into protolathes (#90219)
## About The Pull Request

Adds a unit test that checks that all designs are accessible through
some source, be it techweb, disks, or innate designs. Certain designs,
like pocket extinguishers, entertainment screens, etc, that have been
present in autolathes but not in the techweb despite having PROTOLATHE
flag assigned have been put into protolathes (where it made sense,
otherwise the flag was removed).
An important change is that restaurant portals are now printable, and
thus can be constructed and deconstructed. Indestructible portals have
been a major gripe of mine for a while, and I don't see a solid reason
for keeping them indestructible if they can easily be printed from the
service protolathe.

Closes #90212

## Why It's Good For The Game

Initial argument for keeping portals unbreakable was to prevent people
from griefing the chef/bartender, but by that logic we can make most
machinery unbreakable too. I don't think that having an unbreakable
portal is good if its locking us out from allowing chefs/bartenders to
reorder or even outright reposition their lunchroom/bar.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Restaurant portals can now be printed, constructed and
deconstructed. They're also no longer completely invulnerable.

f057705c4f machine board naming convention pass (#88888)
## About The Pull Request
Adjusts a bunch of machine board names to comply with the general
machine board naming patterns I see.

First pass just removed a bunch of errant (Machine Board)s that were
still on board names despite them being automatically appended on
initialization, second pass set some board designs to actually have
"Board" on the end to specify that it's a board and not a whole machine.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Machine board naming consistency is probably good, actually.

## Changelog

spellcheck: A handful of machine boards should no longer have two
(Machine Board)s showing up in their name.
spellcheck: Boulder machinery boards are now labeled as boards from

necromanceranneandGitHub e9471b00b0 Adds the NT BR-38 Battle Rifle. A sci-fi hybrid gun, but better than the last attempt. Only SOMETIMES fails at existence. (#88095)
## About The Pull Request

A repeat of the first half of
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/86853

The NT BR-38 Battle Rifle is a semi-automatic
railgun...marksman...carbine...rifle...thingy that uses .38 ammunition
and is magazine fed from a 15 round magazine. It comes with a scope, and
is bulky.

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/456aba07-ba0a-4ad3-993c-7fc2bc1395d6)

Sprites by OrcaCora.

### Some of its features

The gun shoots at a higher than normal velocity for .38. This means it
hits harder (30 damage compared to the standard 25), and flies faster
through the air.

The gun, however, suffers from degradation as it is used. It has a 10
shot buffer before suffering degradation. After the 10 shot buffer, it
has a 10% chance each shot to increase in degradation stage. From stage
1 to stage 5 (the maximum stage), it begins to lose fire rate and
projectile flight speed.

To recalibrate the gun, you can do one of two things;
A) Use a multitool on the gun. This completely resets the gun, but its
pretty slow.
B) Insert it into a weapon recharger to recharge its buffer and reduce
its degradation stages.

### Some of its downsides

The weapon is EMP vulnerable. If it gets EMP'd, it immediately degrades
and loses any buffer it has. While EMP'd, there is a 75% chance it
doesn't fire when you pull the trigger. This is also true if the gun has
hit maximum degradation. Keep your guns in good shape.

It can be emagged. While emagged, the gun has increased damage (40 for
standard ammunition), but once it hits maximum degradation, it
immediately begins to catastrophically fail. It also degrades
significantly faster while emagged. There is no way to reverse this
effect, and the explosion is extremely lethal.

### Where can I find it? What about ammo?

You can purchase the gun from cargo at a significant premium, as well as
some additional magazines of some basic ammo types.

There is exactly one of these in the armory, and you can print more
magazines from the security protolathe. As research progresses, you can
print different, specialized ammunition for the rifle. (and also the
detective .38 revolver, obviously)

### New .38 ammunition types

True Strike bounces accurately between targets, but deals significantly
less damage than other ammo types (15 base, 18 in this rifle).

It is printed once the station gets Exotic Ammo.

## Why It's Good For The Game

This is a followup on my previous PR, where I tested this weapon and
gathered a whole bunch of feedback on it. Most people quite liked it.
but had some concerns that I feel this addresses.

Much of the justifications given there apply here. Obviously ignoring
anything to do with the combat shotgun removal.

Some stuff obviously has not come back from the original test. Notably,
the TRAC changes were probably a little too powerful. As much as I liked
a default entirely nonlethal ammunition type, TRAC itself is better left
as a late research goal.

In addition, I moved the explosion part to an emag effect. It's funny,
and lends itself to the original intention of the weapon; a callback to
the WT-550 incident. But it isn't a standard part of the guns mechanics.

GhomandGitHub 6b543476da Aquarium kits can now be printed + other tweaks. (#88068)
## About The Pull Request
Aquarium kits can now be printed from service, cargo, science
protolathes and the autolathe too, from half a sheet of metal. You still
need the other materials to set it up but it should be fairy simple if
you can access a proto/autolathe.

The 'Growth/Reproduction' setting for aquariums has been renamed to
"Safe Mode", which, on top of disabling features such as growth,
reproduction, evolution, power generation etc etc, will also disable the
water, temperature and food requirements for keeping the fish alive.
Useful if you want a purely ornamental aquarium or you have to skidaddle
somewhere else for a while.
The lawyer, as well as prefilled aquariums start with 'Safe Mode'
enabled.

The 'Aggressive' fish trait has been replaced with 'Territorial', which
is exactly the same but the fish won't lash out unless the aquarium is
populated by five fishes or more. No more angelfish viciously attacking
the guppy and goldfish in prefilled aquariums.

Tweaked a couple values around hunger and fish health loss when starving
or in a bad environment to cause slightly less damage.

Lastly, added screentips to the aquarium component, which is something
I've forgot to do in the PR that brought it.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Aquariums may be a complex feature, but as far as I can tell, I had been
neglecting the possibility of aquariums as simple room decoration for a
while (outside of the beauty-related mechanics), and the constant
maintenance (and perhaps a bit of knowhow) they require makes them awful
at that. Also, the "growth/reproduction" setting really didn't have a
reason to be before, since it didn't offer any tangible benifit to turn
it off, so I had to revamped it.
Also it's been proven by now that keeping aquariums as cargo-orderable
stuff is just bad.

As for the fish trait change, it just sucks to see the angelfish shank
the goldfish with no way to solve it other than removing the
hyper-aggressive killer fish from san diego fella.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Aquarium kits can now be printed from cargo, service, science
protolathes as well as the autolathe. They no longer have to be ordered
from cargo.
balance: Revamped the "Growth/Reproduction" setting for aquarium to
"Safe Mode", which also disables the food, temperature and water
requiremenets of aquariums, making it useful for purely decorative
aquariums.
balance: Replaced the "Aggressive" fish trait with "Territorial". No
more angelfish shanking the goldfish and guppy in prefilled aquariums
with less than 5 fishes.
qol: Added screentips to aquariums.

GhomandGitHub 2d7b8a5ff6 material fishing rods and material fish. (#87108)
## About The Pull Request
The reason why I refactored material effects code is here.

In this PR I add the possibility of printing fishing rods from different
materials at your nearest autolathe, though it doesn't stop there. Each
material has different values for (so far) fishing difficulty, casting
range, experience gained and foremost the chance of catching fish made
of the same material as the fishing rod used to catch it. The material
the fish is made from can either increase or decrease the weight of the
fish.

In a many cases, material rods can also have other small effects on
fishing, like removing the chances of duds even without a bait, or
attracting shiny-loving fish, or passing some other fish trait checks.
In a few cases, these fishing rods can have bigger, more impactful
effects on fishing. That said, here's a list of more or less the effects
(skipping very minor ones and those inherited from being items) and
modifiers across materials so far, a few things will be added later:

GhomandGitHub cffe5ffc33 Mixed bag of fishing adjustments. (#87201)
## About The Pull Request
This more or less ties with my previous PR where I fix some of the
issues I've seen with fishing, because both are the result of some live
playtesting in which I assessed some flaws and nits. So, let's get
started:

Lowered the number of fish to scan for each fish scanning experiment:
This is the most time-gating feature of fishing. As a scientist you're
usually better off doing anything else than this anyway, which is
understandable, but for whoever else that plans to get some nice ocean
fish, this is going to be a huge bummer. From 4, 8, 14, 21 to 3, 7, 11,
17.

Switched the ocean and chasm portal setting: Right now, the ocean portal
has the largest amount of catchable creatures, which can also help
progress the experiments, while the chasm setting only has two and is
only mildly useful for chasm chrabs --> lobstrosities (which suffer a
bit from not having a good enough AI right now). I hope I'll have the
time to add some late fishes to the chasm setting at some point.

Added a premapped fishing portal generator to the common service room of
every map: It takes quite some time to setup fishing. Making a fishing
portal is by far what I consider to be the most tedious part. Also Wawa
and Birdshot were also missing the aquarium kit. On a side-note I
realized some days ago that service jobs receive very good discounts on
the fishing items sold by the good clean vendor.

Added the fish puns speech modifier to fish-infused gills: I forgot to
do it when I made the PR. Shrimple as that.

Mild fish infusion tweaks: Lowered the crawling speed very sightly, but
buffed showers and water healing slightly. Drinking water now wets you
by about 1/4 of what splashing it would do.

Buffed fishing difficulty modifiers for items and chairs a little: For
the time and credits invested, buying a carp costume or whatever to be
slightly better at fishing doesn't seem that profitable, and I reckon I
was being a bit conservative with the values. Fishing is a considerable
time investment already, especially in the initial stage with the setup.
Also idk why sunglasses and thermals buff fishing while fish are
technically cold-blooded creatures so I removed the comp from them.

Added fishing rods and fish cases designs to cargo and science lathes:
Other base fishing designs are shared between the three departments,
while these two are only available for service (and autolathes
obviously).

Fishing skill now affects completion gain and not only completion loss:
Fishing as a feature has a slower pace than most things in the game. It
feels right that by the time you reach about legendary level, you get to
complete the minigame a bit faster.

## Why It's Good For The Game
To put it briefly, the feature feels right as a casual experience,
however time is very much against you and getting something done takes
some effort (especially on tram, where moving to and fro' departments is
almost like playing froggers at times)

## Changelog

entertainment radio in-case station does not have places to watch
Curator's brilliant broadcasts.

## Why It's Good For The Game
The job of Curator has 3 things it can do:

- Curate Library (lol)
- Explore Space
- **Create News!**

Although the Curator does have extended access to the Newscaster -
that's not enough of content. Inspired by the Combat Correspondent from
the Colonial Marines server - Curator now has a **Broadcast Camera**!
Using it they can show the station what the most important matters that
are going on without lifting the butts of their comfortable chairs.
No matter what Curator will report: Security raiding Medbay? Interviews
of Cargo Techs complaining about Command? Maybe even shows produced in a
studio? Anything really!

Also, entertainment screens will get more use, as right now they only
_sometimes_ broadcast Bitrunning avatars and nothing else unless admins
mess with them.

0db2a23faf Adds a new power storage type: The Megacell. Drastically reduces power cell consumption/storage. [MDB Ignore] (#84079)
## About The Pull Request
As the title says. A standard power cell now only stores 10 KJ and
drains power similar to how it did before the refactor to all power
appliances.

The new standard megacell stock part stores 1 MJ (what cells store right
now). APCs and SMESs have had their power cells replaced with these
megacell stock parts instead. Megacells can only be used in APCs and
SMESs. It shouldn't be possible to use megacells in any typical
appliance.

This shouldn't change anything about how much 'use' you can get out of a
power cell in regular practice. Most should operate the same and you
should still get the same amount of shots out of a laser gun, and we can
look at expanding what can be switched over to megacells, e.g. if we
want mechs to require significantly more power than a typical appliance.

Thanks to Meyhazah for the megacell icon sprites.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Power cell consumption is way too high ever since the power appliance
refactor that converted most things to be in joules. It's a bit
ridiculous for most of our machinery to drain the station's power supply
this early on.

The reason it's like this is because regular appliances (laser guns,
borgs, lights) all have a cell type that is identical to the APC/SMES
cell type. And it means that if we want to provide an easy way to charge
these appliances without making it easy to charge APCs/SMESs through a
power bug exploit, we need to introduce a new cell type to differentiate
between what supplies power and regular appliances that use power. This
is primarily what the megacell stock part does.

This moves us back to what it was originally like before the power
refactor, where recharging power cells wouldn't drain an exorbitant
amount of energy. However, it maintains the goal of the original
refactor which was to prevent people from cheesing power generation to
produce an infinite amount of power, as the power that APCs and SMESs
operate at is drastically different from the power that a regular
appliance uses.

## Changelog
🆑 Watermelon, Mayhazah
balance: Drastically reduces the power consumption and max charge of
power cells
balance: Added a new stock part called the battery, used primarily in
the construction of APCs and SMESs.
add: Suiciding with a cell/battery will shock you and potentially dust
you/shock the people around you if the charge is great enough.

* print 5 cable coils instead of 1 in lathes (#83601)

## About The Pull Request
What the title says.
## Why It's Good For The Game
It is incredibly tedious to get a large amount of cables from lathes,
considering you need a lot most of the time (especially in engineering),
it should be printing way more than one piece of cable.
