8eed335b94 Refactors inventory UI to be completely datum and vis_contents-based (#95998)
## About The Pull Request

Completely removes individual inventory UI handling from mob and HUD
code and moves it to slot datums.
``/datum/inventory_slot`` now is responsible for displaying items on the
player UI and does so through vis_contests as opposed to screen_loc -
which ensures that wide items will display properly rather than be
offset to the right.
Centralized, slot_id based handling allows us to significantly simplify
inventory and HUD code (see how many lines were removed) as you no
longer need to individually track all items for both the HUD owner and
the observer, and makes it easier for us to fully datumize inventory
handling in the future.

Also fixes a bug where observers would see players' storage UI and have
the items linger on-screen after its closed.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Makes working with inventories and HUDs easier, fixes visual issues with
wide items, I need this for human rendering refactors.

## Changelog

71567df14e Adds text to holoparasite granters to show if they've been used (#96130)
## About The Pull Request
Adds a little text blurb to the guardian granters (wiz deck of cards,
tot parasite injectors, etc) to show if they've been used.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Currently the only way to check if a granter has been used it to use it
yourself, which in the case of dusty shards, may cause you to become a
walking JoJoke when you just wanted to see if someone took the Golden

John WillardandGitHub 774c07cd9b Basic mob stat panel gutting (#95543)
## About The Pull Request

Changes Guardian HUD to use action buttons instead of HUD elements,
which means their buttons
1. Can now be moved
2. Can be binded

Other Holoparasite HUD changes:

1- Moves some special buttons like explosive's explosion ability to be
where the "Toggle Mode" button typically is, to be consistent with some
other modes (assassin, gas) that also works like their unique ability.
2- Gives non-dextrous holoparasites the ability to move floors, since
they float.
3- Fixes dextrous holoparasites having 2 health HUDs
4- Moves "Check Guardian Type" verb to a new action button meant to
mimick the Antag UI Info button.

Gives Soulscythes a Combat mode indicator

Locks Revenant's combat mode indicator (cause it does nothing)

Adds another hoverable HUD element, basic mobs can now hover over their
healthdoll to see their Health %

<img width="85" height="123" alt="image"

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/12d4d9d3-cf2c-4c52-81aa-17ce538b9d48"
/>

Adds a Unit Test to ensure all basic mobs have a HUD that shows some
form of health & combat mode (unless unnecessary like Revenants), to not
lose any information from basic mob conversion now that they lose the
stat panel.

## Why It's Good For The Game

This is yet another supplement of
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/95383 - Removing stat panel
entries for all basic mobs is a great move towards lessening the
reliance of mobs on the stat panel.

This is also just good QoL for Holoparasites, especially since their
stat panel had 2 entries for "Master HP" and your "Own" HP, despite
Holoparasites not even having their own HP at all.

JacquerelandGitHub d71fd7bfb1 Fix some Guardian bugs (#94715)
## About The Pull Request

Fixes #94699
This resolves two long-standing bugs where Support holoparasites could
heal their hosts while recalled, and Dextrous holoparasites could use
items on their hosts while recalled.
However because these bugs have been present _at least_ since the basic
mob refactor (I suspect I accidentally introduced them, although they
may even predate that) I've marked this as a balance update. What do I
care about GBP anyway.

In addition I've fixed two more visual bugs;
Gaseous Holoparasites now use a particle holder instead of setting
`particles` on the mob directly, which fixes a visual issue where the
particles would persist if you cancelled them via recalling and might
trick you into thinking you were still emitting gas after manifesting
again.
I also forced the health hud to update upon spawn, because as-is until
your host took any damage or healing it would just look like an empty
box hovering on your UI.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Support Guardian healing you could argue is a feature, but personally I
don't think that being constantly healed by your buddy in a way that
nobody can possibly prevent could have been intended, and if we _want_
to canonise it then it should be done in a way that it's a passive
effect of being recalled and not an effect of spamming right click.

Dextrous Guardians being able to use items while recalled was much more
clearly a bug; Dextrous Guardians drop all items when they recall and it
was an oversight that they could just put an item on their belt and get
it out while recalled, then freely use it on their host (but nothing
else, from inside the host that's the only thing in their range). The
reasoning that this is bad is pretty much the same as for the Support
guardian, except more so because it can use the instant full heal staff
or any other similar item.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Support Guardians cannot heal their owner while recalled.
balance: Dextrous Guardians cannot use their hands while recalled.
fix: Gaseous Guardian particles will correctly dismiss when you recall.

SyncIt21andGitHub 7c5ef1cfb8 Removes unused parameter times_fired from mob procs (#94590)
## About The Pull Request
What it says on the tin. `times_fired` is the most unused parameter in
all mob procs. I say most because there were just 2 cases where it was
used
- handling breathing
- handling heartbeat

Besides these 2 cases this parameter did nothing in every proc. Removing
it does 2 things
- Makes those procs more readable as it now has 1 less parameter that
was documented poorly and did nothing
- Makes those procs slightly faster as we are passing 1 less variable to
its parameter call stack

It can easily be substituted with `SSmobs.times_fired` which was its
original value anyways

c51ee7efa5 Cyborgs now use storage datum (#90927)
## About The Pull Request

This moves Cyborgs onto using storage datums, removing the remenants of
the shitcode that was Cyborg inventory. It's now done mostly by
equipping/unequipping/storage items, much like how other mobs do.
This allows borgs to take advantage of more hand support stuff and
things like ``dropped()``, so borgs no longer have to copy paste drop
code to ``cyborg_unequip``

It also:
- Removes ``CYBORG_ITEM_TRAIT``
- Removes all borg items being ``NODROP``

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/11442a10-3443-41f2-8c72-b38fb0126cdb

## Why It's Good For The Game

Currently borgs are able to have their entire inventory open and a bag
below it, which I thought was a little weird. I always assumed they WERE
storage items, so I guess I'm doing it myself.
Cyborgs using storage code makes it easier for contributors to actually
do stuff with, without risking breaking everything. It also hopefully
will make borg items more resilient against breaking in the future, now
that we're not relying on nodrop.
Also just brings them more in line with other mobs, all of which make
use of storages.

## Changelog

379e2a0ee0 Refactor: Moves throwing and giving items from /mob/living/carbon to /mob/living (#91049)
## About The Pull Request

Given the existence of basic mobs with hand slots, it feels like
throwing and giving items shouldn't be something exclusive to carbon
mobs, so I've pulled things around to make this happen. The only basic
mobs with hands at time of writing are gorillas and dextrous
holoparasites, but the inability to throw things when you're a gorilla
just doesn't seem right to me.

Some more details about what I've done here:

- Made the dextrous component optionally enable throwing for the mob
it's added to.
- Moved offer/give item functionality to /mob/living (I can't see any
reason why only carbon mobs should have this option)
- Moved throwing and give item hotkeys from carbon to "human" (where all
the other /mob/living hotkeys go) and, as a result, removed carbon
hotkeys (nothing is left in them).
- Moved throwing code and item offering code to its own file because
living.dm is 3000+ lines long and should probably be broken up some day
(I'm not brave enough for that)
- Cleaned up an unused global signal that hasn't been used since dogs
got moved to basic mobs.
- Other miscellaneous cleanup where I noticed it.
- In terms of testing: Tested using gorillas (only checked the dextrous
holoparasite to confirm the button and hotkeys worked). Things that were
working:
  - Can throw items if the mob is set up to allow it.
- Can give items as a gorilla to a human, as a human to a gorilla, and
as a human to a human.
- Can give a high five to a gorilla (and the gorilla can receive it).
Gorillas can't give a high five back, though (they don't have the
emote), this already ballooned in scope, someone else can make that
happen.
- There are an alarmingly high amount of niche
emote-into-item-into-giving behaviours I suspect half the playerbase or
more aren't even aware of (does anyone offer their hand to someone to
get them up off of the ground?) and I don't know if I broke any of them
with this, but the fact high fives work gives me some hope they're
probably still fine.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Lets gorillas and dextrous holoparasites throw things and give things,
but most importantly sets up more framework for any future dextrous
basic mobs to also be able to do this. There's no real reason to keep
this functionality confined to carbon mobs when dextrous basic mobs are
a thing.

## Changelog

JacquerelandGitHub d19b8de989 Most fleshy mobs are vulnerable to stamina and stuns (#90675)
## About The Pull Request

This PR enables most mobs to take stamina damage, become slowed as a
result of taking stamina damage.
It also gives most mobs CANSTUN which not only allows them to enter
stamcrit from taking stamina damage but also makes them vulnerable to
mechanics like stun batons.

Mobs which already took stamina damage (Spiders and Space Dragons) still
work the same way.
Mechanical or artificial mobs, mining mobs, simple xenomorphs, ghosts,
and most kinds of mob closely associated with antagonists still don't
take stamina damage.

## Why It's Good For The Game

A new player armed with a disabler will probably try and use it on
aggressive animals and be disappointed, but I don't think there is any
_reason_ for them to be disappointed when it's already something they
are doing merely to delay being attacked rather than to kill the target.
It's not intuitive for these mechanics not to function against simple
mobs when they do against humans, _especially_ the kinds of mobs which
look like humans, and there isn't any technical reason why it _couldn't_
work against most mobs which it looks like they should work against.

While this reduces the threat level of some mobs against Security
players I think the greater interaction with the sandbox is beneficial.
I'm hopeful it doesn't have that much effect on many of the most common
places you encounter dangerous mobs like Space Ruins or Gateways as they
are also places where you can't reliably recharge your energy-based
stamina weapons as most that don't require energy do require getting
into melee and endangering yourself.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Most biological mobs are now slowed by taking stamina damage,
and can be stunned. Mechanical mobs, mining mobs, and several other
special kinds (chiefly those invoked by antagonists) are unaffected. If
this seems to effect any mob it probably shouldn't, please report it as
a bug.

JacquerelandGitHub a658fe8ee8 Fix guardian basic attacks (#90911)
## About The Pull Request

Fixes #90902

There were a couple of problems:
- The check `if (!isliving(attacked_atom) ||
!isclosedturf(attacked_atom))` would obviously always early return
before performing the war cry because we don't have any walls in the
game which are also living mobs. I fixed it.
- Attack chain refactoring meant that attacking nonliving targets as a
basic mob would reset the attack cooldown to the default rather than the
mob one. Maybe when we kill simple mobs we can remove that code and let
basic mobs handle it themselves?
- For some reason we were playing a sound on the loc of an attacked atom
instead of the atom, which is an area if you are punching a wall, which
runtimes. Now we just play it on the atom, IDK why we weren't doing
that.

SmArtKarandGitHub 4dd6cdeb72 Refactors how item actions are handled (#89654)
## About The Pull Request

This PR tackles our piss-poor item action handling. Currently in order
to make an item only have actions when its equipped to a certain slot
you need to override a proc, which I've changed by introducing an
action_slots variable. I've also cleaned up a ton of action code, and
most importantly moved a lot of Trigger effects on items to do_effect,
which allows actions to not call ui_action_click or attack_self on an
item without bypassing IsAvailible and comsigs that parent Trigger has.
This resolves issues like jump boots being usable from your hands, HUDs
being toggleable out of your pockets, etc. Also moved a few actions from
relying on attack_self to individual handling on their side.

This also stops welding masks/hardhats from showing their action while
you hold them, this part of the change is just something I thought
didn't make much sense - you can use their action by using them in-hand,
and flickering on your action bar can be annoying when reshuffling your
backpack.

Closes #89653

## Why It's Good For The Game
Makes action handling significantly less ass, allows us to avoid code
like this
```js
/obj/item/clothing/mask/gas/sechailer/ui_action_click(mob/user, action)
	if(istype(action, /datum/action/item_action/halt))
		halt()
	else
		adjust_visor(user)
Kapu1178andGitHub a0e862d575 Base implementation of /datum/persistent_client (#89449)
## About The Pull Request
Converts `/datum/player_details` into `/datum/persistent_client`.
Persistent Clients persist across connections. The only time a mob's
persistent client will change is if the ckey it's bound to logs into a
different mob, or the mob is deleted (duh).
Also adds PossessByPlayer() so that transfering mob control is cleaner
and makes more immediate sense if you don't know byond-fu.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Clients are an abstract representation of a connection that can be
dropped at almost any moment so putting things that should be stable to
access at any time onto an undying object is ideal. This allows for
future expansions like abstracting away client.screen and managing
everything cleanly.
dd37b953fe Melee cooldown on actions is defined as 0, not overriden everywhere (#87599)
## About The Pull Request
Actions have null melee cooldown by default. The code checks if so, and
gives the action the same melee cd as the action's cd. This means you
can't take any melee action for that duration.
Since this is dumb as shit, 95% of actions in the game override it. But
some don't, which leads to all sorts of 'janky' feeling combat, most
noticeably being that of venus man eaters, which literally cannot attack
until their tangle action is off cooldown. There's some others like it -
legion skull throws for example.
This simply makes it so that the cooldown is, by default, zero, and can
be overriden to null on types which lets it copy the cooldown, if the
coder so chooses.
As a necessary byproduct this affects... pretty much every action in the
game. I found-and-replaced all usages of melee cd = 0 because that's now
redundant, but it's not so easy to check for every action which doesn't
override the value - this means this will likely have some side-effects
on some abilities that aren't meant to be immediately followed up with a
melee attack, but I couldn't find any.
i cant believe there were 3 gorillion actions overridding melee cd to
zero thats embarrassing.
## Why It's Good For The Game
if every subtype overrides a timer variable to the same value then just
maybe the value should be default.
Fixes ALL action melee jank. Perhaps too well!
san7890andGitHub a4328ae1f9 Audits tgui_input_text() for length issues (#86741)
Fixes #86784
## About The Pull Request
Although some of the issues found were a direct result from #86692
(c698196766), there was still 40% of
length-related issues that wouldn't be covered anyways that are fixed in
this PR. I.E.:
* Name inputs without `MAX_NAME_LEN`
* Desc inputs without `MAX_DESC_LEN`
* Plaque inputs without `MAX_PLAQUE_LEN`
* Some people just screwed up the arguments so it would prefill
something like "40" in the `default` var because they didn't name their
vars.
To help me audit I added a lot of `max_length` named arguments to help
people understand it better. I think it might be kinder to have a
wrapper that handles adding `MAX_MESSAGE_LEN` in a lot of these cases
but I think there is some reason for a coder to be cognitive about input
texts? Let me know what you think. I didn't update anything
admin-related from what I can recall, let me know if anything needs to
be unlimited again.
## Why It's Good For The Game
The change to `INFINITY` notwithstanding, there were still an abundance
of issues that we needed to check up on. A lot of these are filtered on
down the line but it is clear that there needs to be something to catch
these issues. Maybe we could lint to make `max_length` a mandatory
argument? I don't know if that's necessary at all but I think that the
limit should be set by the invoker due to the wide arrangement of cases
that this proc could be used in.
This could all be a big nothingburger if the aforementioned PR is
reverted but a big chunk of cases fixed in this PR need to be fixed
regardless of that since people could put in 1024 character names for
stuff like guardians (or more now with the change). Consider this
"revert agnostic".
SyncIt21andGitHub 9c9a5d28ff Some alt & ctrl click improvements (#84203)
## About The Pull Request
Improved code quality of both so they resemble each other. Some of the
new specs are as follows
1. Moved` COMSIG_CLICK_ALT` & `COMSIG_CLICK_ALT_SECONDARY` up i.e.
before `can_perform_action()` making them pure hooks not bound by any
action checks giving components full control over them
2. Removed range check(`CAN_I_SEE`) & view check(`is_blind()`) out of
the base alt click proc. They now only apply to living mobs and don't
apply to ghosts(ghosts don't get blind & see everything) & revenants
(the range check still applies for revenants though).
This was actually a bug because these 2 checks were only meant to see if
the loot panel could be opened (as stated in
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/83736#discussion_r1628097941)
but because they are at the top of the proc they also apply to all alt
click actions which is not intended. Also, by moving these checks down
to mob subtype levels some of the snowflake checks like this
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/blob/7579e0e1734ee40b33ce1fd3fc5c2dd08fe30404/code/_onclick/click_alt.dm#L23
can be removed. We should not check for subtypes within the parent type
proc but instead have subtypes override their parent procs to implement
custom behaviour
3. Removed redundant signals like` COMSIG_XENO_SLIME_CLICK_ALT` in
favour of just `COMSIG_MOB_ALTCLICKON`
4. While looking for alt click signal overrides I found alt click for
style meter was run timing, that's fixed now
LemonInTheDarkandGitHub f03084c1ca FOV is Dead (Long Live FOV) (#80062)
## About The Pull Request
FOV as it is currently implemented is incompatible* with wallening.
I'm doin wallening, so we gotta redo things here.
The issue is the masking of mobs. Wallening relies on sidemap (layering
based off physical position), which only works on things on the same
plane (because planes are basically sheets we render down onto)
So rather then masking mobs, let's reuse the masking idea from old fov,
and use it to cut out a bit of the game render plane, and
blur/over-saturate the bit that's masked out.
My hope is this makes things visible in light, but not as much in
darkness, alongside making more vivid shit more easily seen (just like
real life)
Here's some videos, what follows after is the commits I care about
(since I had to rip a bunch of planes to nothing, so the files changed
Oh also I had to remove the darkness pref since the darkness is doing a
Rather then masking out mobs standing behind us, we use a combo color
matrix and blur filter to make the stuff covered by fov harder to see.
We achive this by splitting the game plane into two, masking both by fov
(one normally and one inversely), and then applying effects to one of
the two.
I want to make the fov fullscreens more gradient, but as an effect this
is a good start
distributivgesetzandGitHub 274eb2a52e Removes Clone Damage (#80109)
<!-- Write **BELOW** The Headers and **ABOVE** The comments else it may
not be viewable. -->
<!-- You can view Contributing.MD for a detailed description of the pull
request process. -->
## About The Pull Request
Does what it says on the tin. We don't have any "special" sources of
clone damage left in the game, most of them are rather trivial so I
bunched them together into this PR.
Notable things removed:
- Clonexadone, because its entire thing was centered around clone damage
- Decloner gun, it's also centered around cloning damage, I couldn't
think of a replacement mechanic and nobody uses it anyways
- Everything else already dealt clone damage as a side (rainbow knife
deals a random damage type for example), so these sources were removed
<!-- Describe The Pull Request. Please be sure every change is
documented or this can delay review and even discourage maintainers from
merging your PR! -->
## Why It's Good For The Game
Consider the four sources of normal damage that you can get: Brute,
Burn, Toxins and Oxygen. These four horsemen of the apocalypse are very
well put together and it's no surprise that they are in the game, as you
can fit any way of damaging a mob into them. Getting beaten to death by
a security officer? Brute damage. Running around on fire? Burn damage.
Poisoned or irradiated? Toxin damage. Suffocating in space? Brute, burn
and oxygen damage. Technically there's also stamina damage but that's
its own ballpark and it also makes sense why we have a damage number for
it.
Picture this now: We have this cool mechanic called "clone pods" where
you can magically revive dead people with absolute ease. We don't want
it to be for free though, it comes at a cost. This cost is clone damage,
and it serves to restrain people from abusing cloning.
Fast forward time a bit and cloning is now removed from the game. What
stays with us is a damage number that is intrinsically tied to the
context of a removed feature. It was a good idea that we had it for that
feature at the time, but now it just sits there. It's the odd one out
from all the other damage types. You can easily explain why your blade
dealt brute damage, but how are you going to fit clone damage into any
context without also becoming extremely specific?
My point is: **clone damage is conceptually a flawed mechanic because it
is too specific**. That is the major issue why no one uses it, and why
that makes it unworthy of being a damage stat.
Don't take my word for it though, because a while ago we only had a
handful of sources for this damage type in the game. And in most of the
rounds where you saw this damage, it came from only one department. It's
not worthwhile to keep it around as a damage number. People also didn't
know what to do with this damage type, so we currently have two ways of
healing clone damage: Cryotubes as a roundstart way of healing clone
damage and Rezadone, which instantly sets your clone damage to 0 on the
first tick. As a medical doctor, when was the last time you saw someone
come in with clone damage and thought to yourself, "Oh, this person has
clone damage, I cannot wait to heal them!" ?
Now we have replacements for these clone damage sources. Slimes? Slime
status effect that deals brute instead of clone. Cosmic heretics? Random
organ damage, because their mechanics are already pretty fleshed out.
Decloning virus? The virus operated as a "ticking timebomb" which used
cloning damage as the timer, so it has been reworked to not use clone
damage. What remains after all this is now a basically unused damage
type. Every specific situation that used clone damage is now relying on
another damage type. Now it's time to put clone damage to rest once and
for all.
Sure, you can technically add some form of cellular degradation in the
future, but it shouldn't be a damage number. The idea of your cells
being degraded is a cool concept, don't get me wrong, but make it a
status effect or maybe even a wound for that matter.
san7890andGitHub 3339983108 Fixes Ranged Guardians from Shooting while Incorporeal (#79925)
## About The Pull Request
Fixes #79921
Otherwise, on the tin. Attack mode is for attacking, scouting mode is
for scouting. We were listening for clicking and stuff like that but it
was still failing somehow so this is le fix
## Why It's Good For The Game
You aren't supposed to shoot in this mode, only scout.
MrMelbertandGitHub 365e50bbce Mob attackedby / check_block refactor, plus some minor cleanup of attack_x procs (#79563)
## About The Pull Request
- Deletes `spec_attacked_by`
- Elements simple/basic mob attack threshold
- There was a skeleton mob that "mimics armor" but didn't use the actual
mimicing armor thing we have, so I changed that.
- Moves `check_shields` down to the living level, renames it to
`check_block`
 - Martial art blocking is now signalized (only CQC uses it anyways)
- Cleaned up a bit of `attack_x` procs, but not a lot. Should have an
entire PR dedicated to this .... mess.
 - Deprecates `/obj/item/melee`
## Why It's Good For The Game
Second verse, same as the first.
- Less bad species related procs.
- Largely brings a lot of code in line, making combat more consistent
across types.
- Makes it a lot easier to add new code relating to blocking or taking
damage.
## Changelog
🆑 Melbert
refactor: Refactored another large chuck of attack code, primarily
involving melee item attacks and non-human mob attacks. Report if you
see anything weird
fix: Pacifists clicking on simple robots or silicons no longer causes
sparks
fix: Blocked thrown batons are now properly... blocked
a1e46c5d31 Basic Guardians/Holoparasites (#79473)
## About The Pull Request
Fixes #79485
Fixes #77552
Converts Guardians (aka Holoparasites) into Basic Mobs.
Changes a bunch of their behaviours into actions or components which we
can reuse.
Replaces some verbs it would give to you and hide in the status panel
with action buttons that you may be able to find more quickly.
They _**should**_ work basically like they did before but a bit
smoother. It is not unlikely that I made some changes by accident or
just by changing framework though.
My one creative touch was adding random name suggestions.
The Wizard federation have a convention of naming their arcane spirit
guardians by combining a colour and a major arcana of the tarot. The
Syndicate of course won't truck with any of that mystical claptrap and
for their codenames use the much more sensible construction of a colour
and a gamepiece.
This lets you be randomly assigned such creative names as "Sparkling
Hermit", "Bloody Queen", "Blue World", or "Purple Diamond".
You can of course still ignore this entirely and type "The Brapmaster"
into the box if so desired.
I made _one_ other intentional change, which is to swap to Mothblocks'
nice leash component instead of instantly teleporting guardians back to
you when they are pulled out of the edge of their range. They should now
be "dragged" along behind you until they can't path, at which point they
will teleport. This should make the experience a bit less disorienting,
you have the recall button if you _want_ to instantly catch up.
This is unfortunately a bumper-sized PR because it did not seem
plausible to not do all of it at once, but I can make a project branch
for atomisation if people think this is too much of a pain in the ass to
review.
Other changes:
- Some refactoring to how the charge action works so I could
individually override "what you can hit" and "what happens when you hit"
instead of those being the same proc
- Lightning Guardian damage chain is now a component
- Explosive Guardian explosive trap is now a component
- Added even more arguments to the Healing Touch component to allow it
to heal tox/oxy damage and require a specific click modifier
- Life Link component which implements the Guardian behaviour of using
another mob as your health bar
- Moved some stuff about deciding what guardians look and are described
like into a theming datum
- Added a generic proc which can return whether your mob is meant to
apply some kind of damage multiplier to a certain damage type. It's not
perfect because I couldn't figure out how ot cram limb modifiers in
there, which is where most of it is on carbons. Oh well.
- Riders of vehicles now inherit all movement traits of those vehicles,
so riding a charging holoparasite will let you cross chasms. Also works
if you piggyback someone with wings, probably.
## Changelog
🆑
refactor: Guardians/Powerminers/Holoparasites now use the basic mob
framework. Please report any unexpected changes or behaviour.
qol: The verbs used to communicate with, recall, or banish your Guardian
are now action buttons.
balance: If (as a Guardian) your host moves slightly out of range you
will now be dragged back into range if possible, rather than being
instantly teleported to them.
balance: Protectors now have a shorter leash range rather than a longer
one, in order to more easily take advantage of their ability to drag
their charge out of danger.
balance: Ranged Guardians can now hold down the mouse button to fire
automatically.
balance: People riding vehicles or other mobs now inherit all of their
movement traits, so riding a flying mob (or vehicle, if we have any of
those) will allow you to cross chasms and lava safely.
