san7890 a4328ae1f9 Audits tgui_input_text() for length issues (#86741)
Fixes #86784

## About The Pull Request

Although some of the issues found were a direct result from #86692
(c698196766), there was still 40% of
length-related issues that wouldn't be covered anyways that are fixed in
this PR. I.E.:

* Name inputs without `MAX_NAME_LEN`
* Desc inputs without `MAX_DESC_LEN`
* Plaque inputs without `MAX_PLAQUE_LEN`
* Some people just screwed up the arguments so it would prefill
something like "40" in the `default` var because they didn't name their
vars.

To help me audit I added a lot of `max_length` named arguments to help
people understand it better. I think it might be kinder to have a
wrapper that handles adding `MAX_MESSAGE_LEN` in a lot of these cases
but I think there is some reason for a coder to be cognitive about input
texts? Let me know what you think. I didn't update anything
admin-related from what I can recall, let me know if anything needs to
be unlimited again.
## Why It's Good For The Game

The change to `INFINITY` notwithstanding, there were still an abundance
of issues that we needed to check up on. A lot of these are filtered on
down the line but it is clear that there needs to be something to catch
these issues. Maybe we could lint to make `max_length` a mandatory
argument? I don't know if that's necessary at all but I think that the
limit should be set by the invoker due to the wide arrangement of cases
that this proc could be used in.

This could all be a big nothingburger if the aforementioned PR is
reverted but a big chunk of cases fixed in this PR need to be fixed
regardless of that since people could put in 1024 character names for
stuff like guardians (or more now with the change). Consider this
"revert agnostic".
## Changelog
🆑
fix: A lot of instances where you could fill in 1024-character names
(normal limit is 42) have been patched out, along with too-long plaque
names, too-long descriptions, and more.

John Willard 47a24fa98f Fixes music importing newlining (#82152)
## About The Pull Request

Makes the instrument song importing tgui input text use multiline which
means BPM is now on its own line instead of taking the first line of the
song with it, getting it cut from the import.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Closes https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/issues/82148

John Willard bd8c1aebff Instrument editor now uses TGUI (#81923)
## About The Pull Request

Instruments now use TGUI as their editor which is pretty cool.
It's mostly a 1:1 remake of the HTML UI except I did make a change to
make the playback options a little more compact, leaving some more space
for the editor before you have to scroll, and some other minor things
that were made to make the UI hopefully nicer to look at and mess with.

edited

Instruments especially were in a poor spot because they didn't respect
things like ``IN_USE`` to not refresh if it's not the "UI" you are on,
and such.

LemonInTheDark cb4a836d41 Removes all uses of text() (#75766)
## About The Pull Request

Apperantly it's deprecated. Also people misunderstand how to use it,
which leads to silly looking code and redundant wraps.

It is potentially useful to do a sort of format style string embedding,
but we don't have anything that really warrents it IMO.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Maybe byond will break on version upgrade slightly less now.
Also the code's less cluttered, and boomer posting has been excised.

Tim a1ada2c9ef Refactor, improve, and rename canUseTopic to be can_perform_action (#73434)
This builds on what #69790 did and improved the code even further.
Notable things:
- `Topic()` is a deprecated proc in our codebase (replaced with
Javascript tgui) so it makes sense to rename `canUseTopic` to
`can_perform_action` which is more straightforward in what it does.
- Positional and named arguments have been converted into a easier to
use `action_bitflag`
- The bitflags adds some new checks you can use like: `NEED_GRAVITY |
NEED_LITERACY | NEED_LIGHT` when you want to perform an action.
- Redundant, duplicate, or dead code has been removed.
- Fixes several runtimes where `canUseTopic` was being called without a
proper target (IV drips, gibber, food processor)
- Better documentation for the proc and bitflags with examples

ophaq ebfb17930d Implements Instrument UI Interaction When Laying Down (#72926)
## About The Pull Request
Adds floor_okay = TRUE tag to the song editor dm. Basically a small QoL
to allow you to initiate your song if you were say, slipped by a 100
potency banana and wanted to continue playing your song while waiting to
get back up. The change allows you to actually interact with instrument
UI while laying down.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Took a bit of searching but I find that this QoL feature really made a
big impact to me at least. You can play your instrument on the floor
while laying down. It makes sense to me that you should be physically
able to strum a guitar or press keys when you're on the floor as you
already are able to play anyway by starting the instrument standing up
and then laying down. This just cuts out the need to have to stand up to
re-interact with the UI if you say, got slipped or lost both your legs
in a tragic accident. Also allows you to chill on a bed and play without
having to get up, I guess. This might be a minor gameplay change to some
but for those who play instruments the entire round for others to enjoy,
this is a huge QoL.

AnturK 4d6a8bc537 515 Compatibility (#71161)
Makes the code compatible with 515.1594+

Few simple changes and one very painful one.
Let's start with the easy:
* puts call behind `LIBCALL` define, so call_ext is properly used in 515
* Adds `NAMEOF_STATIC(_,X)` macro for nameof in static definitions since
src is now invalid there.
* Fixes tgui and devserver. From 515 onward the tmp3333{procid} cache
directory is not appened to base path in browser controls so we don't
check for it in base js and put the dev server dummy window file in
actual directory not the byond root.
* Renames the few things that had /final/ in typepath to ultimate since
final is a new keyword

And the very painful change:
`.proc/whatever` format is no longer valid, so we're replacing it with
new nameof() function. All this wrapped in three new macros.
`PROC_REF(X)`,`TYPE_PROC_REF(TYPE,X)`,`GLOBAL_PROC_REF(X)`. Global is
not actually necessary but if we get nameof that does not allow globals
it would be nice validation.
This is pretty unwieldy but there's no real alternative.
If you notice anything weird in the commits let me know because majority
was done with regex replace.

@tgstation/commit-access Since the .proc/stuff is pretty big change.

John Willard 91f02f2a6b canUseTopic now uses TRUE/FALSE instead of defines that just say TRUE (#69790)
* canUseTopic now uses TRUE/FALSE instead of defines that just say TRUE

The most idiotic thing I've seen is canUseTopic's defines, they literally just define TRUE, you can use it however you want, it doesn't matter, it just means TRUE. You can mix and match the args and it will set that arg to true, despite the name.

It's so idiotic I decided to remove it, so now I can reclaim a little bit of my sanity.

sergeirocks100 93db1ae22f Fixes the song editor UI on pianos/space minimoogs. (#64545)
This fixes a bug (#64516) where the song editor UI failed to update properly on pianos/space minimoogs.

As it turns out, the updateDialog call at the end of the file had nothing set for it, resulting in it runtiming any time it was supposed to be updating.

Setting it to (usr) fixed the problem, and the UI now works properly.

Jeremiah 9c6fdb567d TGUI list conversions + bug fixes (#63354)
About The Pull Request

Converts more inputs to TGUI. Possibly all user-facing input lists in the game.
Did any surrounding text/number inputs as well
Added null choice support so users can press cancel.
Added some misc TGUI input fixes
Fixed custom vendors while I was there

I refactored a lot of code while just poking around.
Primarily, usage of .len in files where I was already working on lists.
Some code was just awful - look at guardian.dm and its non use of early returns
If there are any disputes, I can revert it just fine, those changes are not integral to the PR.
Why It's Good For The Game

Fixes #63629
Fixes #63307
Fixes custom vendors /again/
Text input is more performant.
Part of a long series of TGUI conversion to make the game more visually appealing

Ghom 2fbd7b20bb Synthesizers and headphones can now have circuits! (#62825)
About The Pull Request

A circuit and shell components have been added to Synthesizers (headphones and spacepods included, though with a reduced capacity because of their size), so they can now be used for wiremod. Just like for instant cameras, no shell design here. They are meant to be found in dorms or maybe ordered from cargo.
Why It's Good For The Game

The station outside the sci department has plenty of USB ports stuff but is lacking when it comes to circuits shell. This is another small step toward a better and more applicable wiremod.

Watermelon914 375a20e49b Refactors most spans into span procs (#59645)
Converts most spans into span procs. Mostly used regex for this and sorted out any compile time errors afterwards so there could be some bugs.
Was initially going to do defines, but ninja said to make it into a proc, and if there's any overhead, they can easily be changed to defines.

Makes it easier to control the formatting and prevents typos when creating spans as it'll runtime if you misspell instead of silently failing.
Reduces the code you need to write when writing spans, as you don't need to close the span as that's automatically handled by the proc.

(Note from Lemon: This should be converted to defines once we update the minimum version to 514. Didn't do it now because byond pain and such)

Mothblocks 0f435d5dff Remove hideous inline tab indentation, and bans it in contributing guidelines (#56912)
Done using this command sed -Ei 's/(\s*\S+)\s*\t+/\1 /g' code/**/*.dm

We have countless examples in the codebase with this style gone wrong, and defines and such being on hideously different levels of indentation. Fixing this to keep the alignment involves tainting the blames of code your PR doesn't need to be touching at all. And ultimately, it's hideous.

There are some files that this sed makes uglier. I can fix these when they are pointed out, but I believe this is ultimately for the greater good of readability. I'm more concerned with if any strings relied on this.
