b857200de9 Adds drawing chalk outlines on dead mobs, white crayons are now called sticks of chalk (#85918)
## About The Pull Request

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/1c698b33-3cd9-477c-b7a0-4a1ebb009122)
*The Miami Mutilator is at large once again. Thank god we have such
hardboiled detectives as Manny Pardo on the case.*

This pull request allows for players to use white crayons, which have
now been renamed to sticks of chalk, to generate outlines of dead or
"dead" bodies found throughout the station in an attempt to let
detectives actually set up crime scenes as opposed to, more typically,
just causing them.

Players will attempt to draw a chalk outline if the target is a mob and
the mob is dead (or fake-dead), using a single charge of the
crayon/chalk. Also, adds a quick macro so that we can get the proper
left/right orientation of the dead mob for reference.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Detective should have more thematic, simple ways to organize crime
scenes in-round, and what better way to do that then through existing
items and mechanics that we already have. Also, I was 100% shocked to
learn that these have always been white crayons as opposed to sticks of
chalk, which certainly seems odd. In essence, this change doesn't really
let you do anything "new", but just makes it easier and simpler to do so
in a regular round without nearly as much fiddling.

This mechanic exists exclusively within the afterattack of sticks of
chalk as opposed to all crayons for thematic reasons, but I'm not 100%
sold on that and it would be simple to move over to all crayons if
people feel strongly about that.

## Changelog
🆑
add: White crayons (Renamed to Sticks of Chalk) may now be used on dead
bodies to draw a body outline onto the ground easily.

6f0dd84a3d Splits wall layer into three (#85901)
## About The Pull Request

Turns
`ON_WALL_LAYER`
into
`FLAT_ON_WALL_LAYER`
`ON_WALL_LAYER`
`HIGH_ON_WALL_LAYER`

Where `FLAT_ON_WALL_LAYER` is meant for lower-priority wall mounts like
signs and posters
`ON_WALL_LAYER` is default
and `HIGH_ON_WALL_LAYER` is for stuff that "hang over" the wall

Also makes the incident display actually wall mounted

## Why It's Good For The Game

I noticed this while doing mapping and I thought it was a really cool
effect

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/93f33d54-2cda-41d1-abe6-d2035e0284c7)

Unfortunately this effect was a coinflip because all wall mounts were on
the same layer. Sometimes it'd look like this

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/59c3c6a7-561f-4ef6-813b-3cd06b295372)

So this allows us to do this kinda stuff consistently.
Also has the added effect of letting us "de-prioritize" stuff like
posters, so we can hang stuff *over* posters and signs, which could be
useful.

## Changelog

🆑 Melbert
qol: Some wall mounts will now consistently layer over others (light
switches and cameras, notably, should always layer above other mounts
like signs and status displays)

85e01a497f You can sell stuff on the blackmarket now. (#85464)
## About The Pull Request
The idea came up during the last blackmarket-related PR (#85066), when
the original creator @TheChosenEvilOne came and said the LTSRBT was
originally supposed to allow players to sell stuff on the blackmarket. I
replied saying the idea has some potential, and then other github users
followed, also saying it's a good idea.

So, here we are, adding another feature to the LTSRBT, to let you
provide other players with potentially knock-offs and fraudulent (or
genuinely honest) items on the blackmarket.

How you do it is fairly simple: left click the machine to open it, place
the item inside, then right-click to open the UI. From there you can
adjust the name, description and price of the market item. Finally,
click on the "Place on Market" button twice, pay a 30 credits fee, and
it's done. You have an item on the market, and once it's sold, 85% or
the earnings (the price) will be deposited on your account.

By the by, the icon of the item you're trying to sell will also show up
on the market. You should get a picture of what you're getting before
falling for an obvious scam.

![screenie](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/fae70c25-ab46-4ceb-af9e-f4818d8a1c68)

By the by, it's a cardboard cutout.

## Why It's Good For The Game
This fits the design of the LTSRBT and blackmarket in general.

## Changelog

🆑

fix: Added some checks to prevent the swapper device and bluespace

d9168e7254 Adds a treasure chest to the ocean/beach fishing spot. (#85276)
## About The Pull Request
This PR adds a treasure chest that can be fished from the ocean if
you're lucky enough (or have enough explosives or lobstrosities to do it
for you). The treasure chest is basically a mystery box (like the ones
from the deathmatch) with a couple catches; the treasure chest can be
opened up to 18 times in total before breaking down, however, it can
only be opened up to 3 times per spaceman, encouraging the player to
share it with others.

Here the possible loot by the by:
- A toolbox containing a master fishing rod, all the hooks and reels,
fish feed, an experi-scanner, an aquarium kit and a can of super baits
- A box containing a lazarus injector, a cup and a bottle of strange
reagent which you can use to revive fish now
- A circuit board for a pre-emagged fishing portal generator
- A master fishing rod
- A can of super fishing baits
- A fish case containing Tiziran fish
- A fish case containing Syndicate fish
- An old, yet fairly strong cutlass
- An old laser gun which fires only 5 shots before running out
- A crank laser musket
- A smoothbore disabler
- A surplus bolt action rifle
- A ration pack
- A can of squid ink
- A bottle of aged rum that forces you to switch to the piratespeak
language
- A money bag with some doubloons inside
- A piratespeak manual
- Pirate armored coat
- Pirate armored hat
- A pre-loaded cannon
- Four trash cannon balls
- Four cannon balls

## Why It's Good For The Game
Mystery boxes are fun, from the little fanfare they play to the
potential loot they can give, and I had an old treasure chest I had
sprited for fun years ago around so I've come up with an entertaining
idea. If you think the loot list is a bit too hot, I can cool it down a
bit.
Also yeah, I wanted to make fish revivable with strange reagent, since
you can already do it with lazarus injectors even though using a lazarus
injector for this would be a severe waste of mining points.

## Changelog

🆑
add: Added a treasure chest you can rarely fish from the ocean/beach,
with loot being a mix of fishing and piratey stuff.

fec946e9c0 /Icon/ Folder cleansing crusade part, I think 4; post-wallening clean-up. (#85823)
Hello everybuddy, your number three rated coder-failure here to clean up
some mess. This PR accomplishes some of the more major structural clean
up changes I wanted to do with /obj/ folder, but decided to wait on
until wallening gets merged, and so, time has come. Several things to
still be done, although I know these cleaning PR's are quite a load, so
will wait for this one to get done with first.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Saner spriters, better sprites, less annoyance. Also deleted a whole
load of redundancy this time around, a lot of sprites which existed
simultaniously in two places now got exit their quantum superposition.

4b4e9dff1d Wallening [IDB IGNORE] [MDB IGNORE] (#85491)
## What's going on here

Kept you waitin huh!

This pr resprites most all walls, windows and other "wall adjacent"
things to a 3/4th perspective, technical term is "tall" walls (we are
very smart).

If you're trying to understand the technical details here, much of the
"rendering tech" is built off the idea of split-vis. Basically, split a
sprite up and render it on adjacent turfs, to prevent seeing "through"
walls/doors, and to support seeing "edges" without actually seeing the
atom itself.

Most of the rest of it is pipelining done to accommodate how icons are
cut.

## Path To Merge

Almost* all sprites and code is done at this point.
There are some things missing both on and off the bounty list, but that
will be the case forever unless we force upstream (you guys) to stop
adding new shit that doesn't fit the style.
I plan on accepting and integrating prs to the current working repo
<https://github.com/wall-nerds/wallening> up until a merge, to make
contribution simpler and allow things like bounties to close out more
easily

This pr is quite bulky, even stripping away map changes it's maybe 7000
LOC (We have a few maps that were modified with UpdatePaths, I am also
tentatively pring our test map, for future use.)
This may inhibit proper review, although that is part of why I am
willing to make it despite my perfectionism. Apologies in advance.

Due to the perspective shift, a lot of mapping work is going to need to
be done at some point. This comes in varying levels of priority. Many
wallmounts are offset by hand, some are stuck in the wall/basically
cannot be placed on the east/west/north edges of walls (posters), some
just don't look great good in their current position.

Tests are currently a minor bit yorked, I thought it was more important
to get this up then to clean them fully.

## What does it look like?

<summary>Historical Mumbojumbo</summary>

I am gonna do my best to document how this project came to be. I am
operating off third party info and half remembered details, so if I'm
wrong please yell at me.

This project started sometime in late 2020, as a product of Rohesie
trying to integrate and make easier work from Mojave Sun (A recently
defunct fallout server) with /tg/.

Mojave Sun (Apparently this was LITERALLY JUST infrared baron, that man
is insane) was working with tall walls, IE walls that are 48px tall
instead of the normal 32. This was I THINK done based off a technical
prototype from aao7 proving A it was possible and B it didn't look like
dogwater.

This alongside oranges begging the art team for 3/4th walls (he meant
TGMC style) lead to Rohesie bringing on contributors from general /tg/,
including actionninja who would eventually take over as technical lead
and Kryson, who would define /tg/'s version of the artstyle. Much of the
formative aspects of this project are their work.

The project was coming along pretty well for a few months, but ran into
serious technical issues with `SIDE_MAP`, a byond map_format that allows
for simpler 3/4th rendering.
Due to BULLSHIT I will not detail here, the map format caused issues
both at random with flickering and heavily with multiz.

Concurrent with this, action stepped down after hacking out the
rendering tech and starting work on an icon cutter that would allow for
simpler icon generation, leaving ninjanomnom to manage the project.

Some time passed, and the project stalled out due to the technical
issues. Eventually I built a test case for the issues we had with
`SIDE_MAP` and convinced lummox jr (byond's developer) to explain how
the fuckin thing actually worked. This understanding made the project
theoretically possible, but did not resolve the problems with multi-z.
Resolving those required a full rework of how rendering like, worked. I
(alongside tattle) took over project development from ninjanomnom at
this time, and started work on Plane Cube (#69115), which when finished
would finally make the project technically feasible.

The time between then and now has been slow, progressive work. Many many
artists and technical folks have dumped their time into this (as you can
see from the credits). I will get into this more below but I would like
to explicitly thank (in no particular order) tattle, draco, arcanemusic,
actionninja, imaginos, viro and kylerace for keeping the project alive
in this time period. I would have curled up into a ball and died if I
had to do this all myself, your help has been indispensable.

ArcaneMusic: Artistic and technical work spanning from the project's
start to literally today, being a constant of motivation and positivity.
I can't list all the stuff he's done
Armhulen: Key rendering work (he's the reason thindows render right), an
upbeat personality and a kick in the ass. Love you arm
Azlan: Damn cool sprites, consistently
Ben10Omintrix: You know ben showed up just to make basic mobs work, he's

BigBimmer: A large amount of bounty work, alongside just like, throwing
shit around. An absolute joy to work with
Capsandi: Plaques, blastdoors, artistic work early on
CapybaraExtravagante: Rendering work on wall frames
Draco: SO MUCH STUFF. Much of the spritework done over the past two
years is his, constantly engaged and will take on anything. I would have
given up if not for you
Floyd: Early rendering work, so early I don't even know the details.
Enjoy freedom brother
Imaginos16: A guiding hand through the middle years, handled much of the
sprite review and contribution for a good bit there
Iamgoofball: A dedication to detail and aesthetic goals, spends a lot of
effort dissecting feedback with a focus on making things as good as they
can be at the jump
Infrared: Part of the impetus for the project, made all the xenomorph
stuff in the MS style
Jacquerel: A bunch of little upkeep/technical things, has done so much
sprite gruntwork (WHY ARE THERE SO MANY PAINTING TYPES)
Justice12354: Solved a bunch of error sprites (and worked out how to
actually make prs to the project) Thanks bro!
Kryson: Built the artstyle of the project, carrying on for years even
when it was technically dying, only stopping to casually beat cancer. So
much of our style and art is Kryson
KylerAce: Handled annoying technical stuff for me, built window frame
logic and fully got rid of grilles.
LemonInTheDark: Rendering dirtywork, project management and just so much
fucking time in dreammaker editing sprites
Meyhazah: Table buttons, brass windows and alll the old style doors
Mothblocks: Has provided constant support, gave me a deadline and
motivation, erased worries about "it not being done", gave just SO much
money to fill in the critical holes in sprites. Thanks moth
MTandi: Contributed art despite his own blackjack and hookers club
opening right down the road, I'm sorry I rolled over some of your
sprites man I wish we had finished earlier
Ninjanomnomnom: Consulted on gags issues, kept things alive through some
truly shit times
oranges: This is his fault
Rohesie: Organized the effort, did much of the initial like, proof of
concept stuff. I hope you're doin well whatever you're up to.
san7890: Consulting on mapper UX/design problems, being my pet mapper
Senefi: Offsetting items with a focus on detail/the more unused
canidates
SimplyLogan: Detailed map work and mapper feedback, personally very kind
even if we end up talking past each other sometimes. Thank you!
SpaceSmithers: Just like, random mapping support out of nowhere, and
bein a straight up cool dude
Tattle: A bunch of misc project management stuff, organizing the
discord, managing the test server, dealing with all the mapping bullshit
for me, being my backup in case of bus. I know you think you didn't do
much but your presence and work have been a great help
Thunder12345: Came out of nowhere and just so much of the random
bounties, I'm kind of upset about how much we paid him
Time-Green: I hooked him in by fucking with stuff he made and now he's
just doin shit, thanks for helping out man!
Twaticus: Provided artistic feedback and authority for my poor feeble
coder brain, believed in the project for YEARS, was a constant source of
❤️ and affirmation
unit0016: I have no god damn idea who she is, popped out of nowhere on
the github one day and dealt with a bunch of annoying
rendering/refactoring. Godspeed random furry thank you for all your
effort and issue reports
Viro: A bunch of detailed spriting moving towards 3/4ths, both on and
off the wallening fork. If anyone believed this project would be done,
it was viro
Wallem: Artistic review and consultation, was my go-to guy for a long
time when the other two spritetainers were inactive
Waltermeldon: Cracked out a bunch of rendering work, he's the reason
windows look like not dogwater. Alongside floyd and action spent a TON
of time speaking to lummox/unearthing how byond rendering worked trying
to make this thing happen
ZephyrTFA: Added directional airlock helpers, dealt with a big fuckin
bugaboo that was living in my brain like it was nothing. Love you
brother

And finally:
The Mojave Sun development team. They provided a testbed for the idea,
committed hundreds and hundreds of hours to the artstyle, and were a
large reason we caught issues early enough to meaningfully deal with
them. Your work is a testament to what longterm effort and deep detailed
care produce. I hope you're doing well whatever you're up to. Go out
with a bang!

f2f856037e Makes cyborg damage more... showy (#85298)
## About The Pull Request
Makes cyborgs blink yellow when they're dead. The icons were lying
around in the code for some reason, so why not repurpose them?

Borg death blink:

Makes cyborgs emit particles when they reach a certain damage threshold.
Smoke for brute, sparks for burn. I think I want to tweak them a little
more, but it's hard to troubleshoot when the particle editor keeps
throwing a BSOD.

Borg particles:

## Why It's Good For The Game
It's really really annoying when you're sitting dead in robotics and

The particles I just think are cool flavour, plus it's a way for
silicons to show actual signs of wear and tear.

It has plenty of action from mobs, traps and hazards. Each room has some
form of treasure or unique item in it. There's a boss at the end with
great rewards for fighting it, including a cool gun (slightly worse
variant of laser carbine).

This ruin is also a whiteship dock and space base. The public area is
entirely safe: stick to the well lit sector and don't trespass in the
employees only areas and you won't be harmed. There is a variety of
vendors to resupply at (including a brand new Donk Co snack vendor) but
unlike most other space ruins you do have to pay. A whiteship can dock
at this ruin if you have one, so you can bring groups of people to party
or attack the dungeon together.

## About The Pull Request

grammar is hard, and there were a lot of places where "it's" was used

89cf4c7787 The Voidwalker | New Midround Antagonist (#84674)
## The Voidwalker

Adds a new antagonist, the Voidwalker!
It's a rare antag that spawns in space when there's at least 40 people
Design doc is here: https://hackmd.io/jE4YScP8RPykXo37rTBV2Q (there's
some deviations)
No biddle

## Summary
Spooky space antag that moves around space, ambushing people either in
space or near space. They can move through glass, have an ability to
stamina drain you if they remain in your vision for 8 seconds, can
temporarily remove glass windows to drag you through them and deal
~~stamina damage~~ incredibly violence. Upon being taken, they can be
kidnapped and cursed, muting and pacifying the person and sending them
to the void.

## Passive

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/7501474/e2bbac33-bac8-4eb9-9042-994904ebec18)

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/7501474/b76df700-84d4-4722-bf6f-2e2049c345b3)

Passive abilities:

- Permanent space flight and indoor flight
- Space regen
- Slowdown when in gravity
- Space camo (very low alpha when in space
- Can freely move through unshocked glass
- Mute, but can hear all station frequencies (excluding binary)
- Will quickly die when on planets or moons (obviously can't roll on
icebox)
- 10 brute armor and 20 burn armor. They can't wear any form of armor
and don't have any get out of jail free cards, so I think it'll help
with their survivability a slight bit

## Abilities
**Void eater:** Literally just a light-eater but instead of eating light
it instantly shatters windows, but restores them after a few seconds

**Space Dive:** New ability that lets you move under the station with a
2 second do_after, so they can still get to closed of space spots
without being as annoying as heretic space shift

**Unsettle:** Remain in view of the target for 8 seconds to give them a
short stun, slurring and 80 stamina damage, but announce your presence
and location to them. Both you and your target can move, as long as you
remain in their view.

**Space Kidnap:** When your target is incapacitated and in space, you
can drag them into the cosmic void. They'll be returned cursed after
undergoing a sort of reverse heretic sacrifice (more on that in the next
section).

[Showcase of all the above abilities!](https://youtu.be/NJ01H28PV9w)

## Voided Crew
A brain trauma received when you get kidnapped. While under it's
influence, you are muted and pacified. You will die in planetary gravity
and cannot enter space.

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/7501474/ea90bf9b-b8d1-4d46-8c69-7b0900e8e50c)

It can be cured with a lobotomy or by dying in planetary gravity.
You get warned to avoid the Voidwalker. The voidwalker now does extra
damage and gets the option to glass gib you if you die, leaving just a
brain

## Loot
On death, the Voidwalker shatters into glass and drops a cosmic skull.
Looking into the skull gives you a stable version of the Voided brain
trauma. It doesn't give you pacifism and doesn't ban you from space. It
also makes you space immune and gives you the ability to walk through
unshocked glass after 2 seconds do_after.

Sprites for the cosmic skull by Justice12354 and Rex9001! I'll throw up
a video showcasing death and their sprites on Sunday

## Why It's Good For The Game
We don't have any space centered antagonists. The closest we have are
Space Dragons, but they have to go deep into the station anyway. I'm
also quite fond of simpler antagonists, like revenant and nightmare.
Give people the tools, and they'll make the fun themselves.

I've been comparing the Voidwalker with the Nightmare. Both are goalles,
simple antagonists, but where the Nightmare's gimmick is darkness, the
Voidwalker's gimmick is space.

They also get a dark tentacle arm so they can murderize people, but it
only gets them to crit. After that they can drag people into the "void"
to kidnap them. This is mostly to encourage the Voidwalker not to just
space them cause that's kinda lame. They still can though, just in-case
it would be very funny

## Changelog

add: Adds the Voidwalker, a new rare space based midround antagonist!
code: Adds the ability to texture limbs and bodypart_overlays

- [x] Add a better kidnapping mechanic, instead of just teleporting
someone to a station turf
- [x] Add an armblade or weapon or something, unarmed combat is kinda
ass for this
- [x] Fix the antag preview not rendering textures
- [x] Prevent them from space phasing when in combat so they can
actually be killed in space combat, even if really fucking hard
- [x] Nerf visibility for people with space parallax disabled, probably
also something to improve camo with colored parallax
- [x] Replace the stamina damage stuff
- [x] Cool rework of space phase idea I have
- [x] Update/implement vidual effects
- [x] Implement names

## Considerations
There's a few things that I might change or implement later, depending
on how it actually plays.

It's a space focused antag, but there might not be enough people near
space in a given round. An ability to let them "capture" area's or let
them turn into a meteor or something might be needed later if they turn
out to be too passive.

They might also be _too_ oppressive in space. I designed them for
near-space combat, but may've made them insanely overpowered in in raw
space combat.

Probably wont do biddle, but might add more powers that you can reroll
every few minutes or something (like blob). Either wat it wont be this

## About The Pull Request

DESIGN CONCEPT: Strange Devices are at their best when they're odd tools

them interesting and unique. Foam for the Janitor, Flashbang for
Security, Teleporter for tiders, Corgimaker for the chef. They're also
ambiguous enough that they can really be used by anyone for silly
hijinks.

Drink Dispenser: Creates a glass, then fills it up with a random drink.

Bioscrambler: After a noticeable warning, bioscrambles people nearby.
33% chance to be used up on use.

Recharger: Shocks you, but recharges one random item to max battery.

Hugger: Hugs everyone in range as if you had the friendly trait.

DImensional: Converts the surroundings to a random material-theme. Each
use increases cooldown by two seconds.

Disguiser: Drops your clothing to the ground and replaces it with a
delete-on-drop costume and a randomly assigned cardboard ID.

Removed an unused and unusable shock flag.

Removed an unused dumb ghost item.

Added a proc that returns a hex color with the # attached.

43e62163fe Adds a Contraband trait, and implements contraband as a mechanic to security bounties. (#84003)
## About The Pull Request

This PR does a few things but centrally it's all centered around
mechanically enforcing what items are and are-not considered contraband
in-game.

### What does something being contraband MEAN?

Contraband items are visually indistinguishable from non-contraband. If
an item is Contraband, it can only be detected in two ways:
* After being scanned by an N-Spect scanner, which is a standard item
security item, assuming it still has a charge to do so.
* Via a scanner gate, which can now be upgraded with an N-spect scanner
to allow for it to scan a person and all their contents for contraband.

### What items ARE contraband?

Contraband items are intended to be determined both logically and
through other relevant examine text. However, here's the short list of
items that are considered contraband, reserving the right to expand the
list.

<details>
  <summary>In hindsight it's kind of a long list.</summary>

* Items that have "contraband" or "illegal" in the name or description.
* Items that allow for the player to obtain other illegal items, that
are NOT particularly stealthy.
* This means that a syndicate uplink is NOT considered contraband, as
they're typically hidden on your person as something else.
* Stealth items under the syndicate uplink, the revolutionary flash, and
some mapped in dangerous items that can come from both syndicate and
company-aligned resources are not considered dangerous.
* Items that are purchased from cargo after emagging or switching to
extended cargo range.
* Items purchased FROM syndicate uplinks, the wizard knowledge scroll,
or other antagonist shops.
* Cursed artifacts/tools magically produced by cultists or heretics.
* Items purchased from the blackmarket.
* Items purchased from the contraband section of vending machines.
* Some drugs and overtly dangerous or criminal byproducts.

</details>

### How does this interact with the round?
Well, primarily, this is an aid for in-game enforcement of space law.
Based on the length of the above list, we have a LONG, LONG list of
items in-game that are technically considered, in one way or another,
illegal to have on the station, and yet without either metaknowledge of
what those items are, or how they're used, security officers lack some
of the certainty of how to deal with these kinds of encounters.

Additionally to the knowledge aspect of this trait, security officers
may now receive a new civilian bounty to collect items that are
considered contraband, also giving them an incentive to look for and
confiscate contraband that's been found across the station while
upholding space law.

### Other minor changes that I rolled into this

Security has a bounty for 3 different rechargers, and considering access
limitations, most security players aren't going to make this exchange,
so I've lowered the required amount down to 1.

Adjusted the N-spect scanner's description to match it's new
functionality.

The Civilian bounty TGUI now has an additional 1 point of padding to
make it feel less cramped.

https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/41715314/c3cd4752-b03a-4e0b-959e-1252fcc2369d

**Updated as of 6/19/2024:**
Additionally, some storage items will block the presence of contraband
when going through a contraband aligned scanning gate. These items
include the infiltrator modsuit core, storage implant, void cloak, the
aptly named smuggler's satchel, and the chameleon kit's backpack.

**Updated as of 6/23/2024:**
N-spect scanner now has contextual screentips.

**Updated as of 6/29/2024:**
Scanner gates are now available in all lathes that have a feature
specific to how scanner gates function. So, includes cargo (contraband),
security (weapons), and medbay (diseases).

## Why It's Good For The Game

Originally, this started out as a way to be able to provide more
in-character and in-flavor bounties for security officers, because they
suck! Most security bounties as they exist right now do the worst
possible things from all respective bounties:
* They detract away from a job's actual responsibilities as opposed to
working with them.
* They're best completed while sitting next to your lathe and running
items back to the bounty pad.
* They exist with such esoteric rarity of high quantity of items that
it's miserable to fulfil.

As a result, I started work on this as a framework to allow security
officers to be further incentivized to collect contraband across the
station, either as a result of the gamemode or just through routine
patrols across the station.

Implementing it as a learning tool for security as well just happened to
work out as an additional bonus, and having a function in-game allowing
newer or less experienced players to know if an item is considered
dangerous or conspicuous also works as a particularly good way to
provide information where a player may not know what they're up against.

If nothing else, this might be interesting to try, and if not, I'll just
snip out the QOL changes from it and we'll see how it goes.

Going forward, I am a bit hesitant about the contraband scanner gate
mode, and as such, will try working with the admin team to determine if
that's a good feature to keep around for game health, while hoping to
give it a chance in the fullness of time.

## Changelog

🆑

## About The Pull Request

TV helmet no longer has gas mask FOV, nor does it give you flash
sensitivity.

Since those are gone, removed pepper proof from it as well.

## Why It's Good For The Game

I don't really know why the tv helmet specifically was cucked like this.
Out of all the costume helmets, none do this. I don't think it adds
much? It just makes it a pain in the ass to use? I want to be a tv
helmet guy and see 360 degrees and weld in peace, I don't think that's

For fairness sake it also doesn't have pepperproof anymore. You can

7be649a7f6 Adds a config that skews random spawners weights. (#84616)
## About The Pull Request
Title. It's an exponent that multiplies weights of random spawners.
For example, if the exponent were 0.8, and the spawner has a natural
99.9% chance to spawn a donk-pocket and a 0.01% of a vial of
adminodrazine, after calculations it'd be roughly 99.6% vs 0.4%.

## Why It's Good For The Game
This can give admins/keyholders more control over random spawners.

would've to get to edit the config quite fast before SSatoms initializes

e90a9b4b68 Flattens The Floor Plane (Camera Update Too) (#84350)
## About The Pull Request

Ok so like, side map right? It makes things higher up in the world
render above things lower down in the world.

Most of the time this is what we want, but it is NOT what we want for
floors.
Floors are allowed to be larger then 32x32, and if they are we want them
to render based off JUST their layer.
If we don't allow this grass turfs and others get cut off on their
bottom edge, which looks WEIRD.

In order to make this happen, we can add TOPDOWN_LAYER to every layer on
the floor plane and disable sidemap.

I've added documentation for this to VISUALS.md, and have also
implemented unit test errors to prevent mixing TOPDOWN layers with non
topdown planes (or vis versa).
This new test adds ~1 second to tests, which is I think a perfectly
scrumpulent number.

EDIT:

I nerd sniped myself and implemented sidemap layering and lighting for
cameras (also larger then 32x32 icon support for getflat)
The lighting isn't perfect, we don't handle things displaying in the
void all that well (I am convinced getflat blending is broken but I have
no debugger so I can't fix it properly), but it'll do.

This came up cause I had to fix another layering issue in cameras and
thought I might as well go all in.

82f92cb983 New Traitor mech: Justice. (#84097)
## About The Pull Request

Adds new mech that can be created from emaged fabricator. To craft this
mech you need:
1. Emag Fabricator to recive Justice disgine(done this, fabricator will
emit a text and sound signal that can reveal you).
2. You need to craft it like any other mech but you also need 8
telecrystals to finish constraction.
3. To board a mech you need syndicate access (traitor can get it by
purchasing an agent card).
About Mech:
Video:
https://youtu.be/QwJfO_lbLK0
Text:
Health 200
Damage 60
Only melee attacks(can't attach range weapons(can't attach anything in
his arms at all))
Block chanse 60
Speed - in safty mode 2.5 in combat mode 4.5
Attack effects:
In addition to damage, it has a 50 percent chance of cutting off an arm
or leg (does not put you to sleep or give a knockdown
effect when hit like regular combat mechs do).
If a target in crit or stun makes a finishing attack instead of a
regular attack, the mech says an epic phrase and after a second cuts off
the target's head by dashing through the target.

Special actions(can't be used if mech in safty mode):

Invisability - Makes the mech invisible for 20 seconds. If the mech is
pushed or collides with someone or if the pilot presses the invisibility
button again, the mech will no longer be invisible and will go into a 5
second cooldown (the same will happen after 20 seconds). If you attack
in invisibility, then instead of a normal attack the mech will make an
AoE 3x3 attack 1 second after pressing (the attack will be accompanied
by a sound and visual effect and for a second the mech will not be able
to move, which gives enemies time to run away from the attack). Upon
completion AoE attack, everyone( except peoples in crit and in stunned
condition) in a 3x3 radius will receive 35 damage and a 25 chance of
having one of their limbs cut off.

Charge Attack - Mech makes a dash towards the cursor at a distance of up
to 7 cells, breaking all obstacles in its path. If the obstacle is a
living person (and he is not in crit and is not stunned) then he will
receive 35 damage and a 25 chance of cutting off a limb. Cooldown 5
Seconds.
P.S.
Also added emag_act on fabricator so you can put any new secret traitor
mechs on it.
Also made the sounds of mech melee attacks to vars so that it would be
more convenient to change them.

Also fix a runtime error where if you set something in the mech's
max_equip_by_category to 0, the mech UI panel doesn't load.

4eaa299c0b Cult Vs. Heretic: 7 Months Later Edition (#82877)
## About The Pull Request

This PR was originally meant as a replacement for the Bloody Bastard
blade, but then I stopped existing for 7 months. Now that I'm here
again, I'm finishing the job once and for all.

### **HERETICS VERSUS CULTISTS**

### Heretics

Heretics can now sacrifice cultists, which will give them one of three
gifts: The Cursed Blade, the Crimson Focus, and the Rusted Harvester.
The gifts given are weighted to be spread out equally with each type.
They will also gain one knowledge point.

- The Cursed Blade is a free heretic blade that is more powerful than
the normal heretic blade, including a small block chance. It can also be
used to draw heretic runes off combat mode.
- The Crimson Focus is a necklace that grants focusing and a minor
regeneration effect which also affects nearby heretics, at the cost of
gaining the BLOODY_MESS trait while wearing it. Additionally, it can be
squeezed to heal 50 points of brute/burn damage, injecting yourself with
three to six (separately) units of Eldritch ~~Water~~ Essence and Unholy
Water. Yes, this isn't good.
- The Rusted Harvester is a heretic 'monster' summon. It's a normal
Harvester, but instead of Area Conversion and Forcewall, it has
Aggressive Spread and Rust Construction (Raise Wall). It can delimb, but
only cultists, with a delay. It has an aura of decay, corroding the
environment and withering enemies near it, but it's VERY fragile.

Rusting cultist item dispensers will now cause them to turn into a
Heretic object. Altars turn into small heretic runes, Archives turn into
Codex Cicatrixi, Forges turn into Mawed Crucibles.

Ideally, Heretics would be able to gain an amount of these new powers
and use them to turn the tide against the cultists, amassing their power
and almost forming a sect of their own in turn which sweeps over and
converts the cult.

### Cultists

When a Cultist sacrifices a heretic, two things will happen:

- A new item will be available for creation at one of the dispensers.
- The Heretic will be trapped inside a powerful Haunted Blade.

`/obj/item/melee/cultblade/haunted`
`	name = "haunted longsword"`
` desc = "An eerie sword with a blade that is less 'black' than it is
'absolute nothingness'. It glows with furious, restrained green
energy."`

This blade will be stronger across-the-board than a normal cult sword,
and will even allow those who wield it to cast one heretic spell from
their previous path. The only downside? The heretic can also cast one
spell. It's up to the trapped spirit if it wants to help you, or be a
nuisance.

The unlocked items are:
- The Cursed Blade, again. For cultists, it can be used to draw runes
twice as fast as usual, and they can even right-click it to teleport to
safety, just like a heretic!
- The Crimson Focus, again. Cultists are twice as fast at carving spells
into their body, and they gain a 5th spellslot as long as they wear the
amulet. It still causes hemophilia and grants weak regeneration.
- The Proteon Orb. This orb will create a gateway to Nar'sie's own
realm, spawning one Proteon every 15 seconds, which ghosts can possess.
The gateways cannot be placed close to one another.

Originally, they were going to be able to create a Harvester Shell, but
there were some concerns of it being too OP.

The true Bastard sword has been fully deleted. The null rod conversion
has been changed to a Bloody Halberd instead.

I'm considering re-enabling Stun Hand on Heretics, with Mansus Grasp
stats.

### Other

All the items above can be used by both Heretics and Cultists, no matter
how they were first created. Hell, even normal crew can use them! This
is probably not the best idea a lot of the time, though.

There are a lot of other changes in this PR. A loooooot. I will likely
miss some in the changelog, but I'll try to be as thorough as possible.
There's probably also some leftover garbo that I didn't find and clear
out yet.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Cult and Heretics, despite being mortally opposed, have very few
interactions with eachother, especially now that the Blade's gone. The
only thing of note is just the Heretic's unfair complete resistance to
stun hand, which is only marginally better than the alternative. This PR
will reintroduce their animosity, and give both sides a very, very good
reason to fight eachother.

The Cult will gain a sick sword that keeps the heretic in the game, and
unlike with the original implementation, will recieve a cult-wide bonus
in the form of a powerful, well deserved, and fun new item to summon.

The Heretic will gain powerful trinkets and knowledge from the
sacrifices, incentivizing them to become a terrifying cult-hunter. And
if they do succeed in wiping out the cult, they will have quite the
rewards to help with their ascension.

The crew, while mostly unaffected, will have a damn good reason to not
just Side with the heretic, out of fear of what they may become after
the cult is stomped down. They can also use a few of the items here in
an attempt to get one up on either side, as long as they manage to stay
clear of the side-effects.

Let the heretics eradicate the apostates.

Let the cultists root out the heathens.

fa3f591138 [no gbp] Reworked sparks to not be so immensely destructive in benign circumstances (#84193)
## About The Pull Request

So sparks were laying waste to every department that had sparks as a
little pizzazz particle effect, which turned out to be seemingly every
single department, and also just a bunch of random shit we had laying
around. That wasn't really the goal so I've reworked them, for now,
until I'm able to more comprehensively address how we handle things that
are combustible vs things that are actually dangerously flammable, which
we don't differentiate for now.

Sparks now send a signal to whatever thing is touching those sparks.
Right now I've specifically made pools of welding fuel, things made of
plasma, people covered in flammables, and cigarettes respond to this
signal. Sparks that touch objects with reagents in them will heat those
reagents marginally (approximately 40kelvin increase from 300 kelvin
underneath a popped lightbulb). There is also another signal
'HAZARDOUS_SPARKS' but as of this PR it is not used.

If you walk into sparks or get showered by them, the sparks will also
interact with any of your visible equipment (outerwear and held items),
but to reiterate, nothing besides the above stated items have
interactions with sparks... for now...
## Why It's Good For The Game

I won't apologize for being hilarious but turning departments into
fields of burnt boxes, tables, vegetables, and crates wasn't really the
intent.
Addresses #84169 and similar
## Changelog
🆑 Bisar

7b1a0daad2 DRAGnet snares now use a dedicated beacon instead of the station teleporter (#84118)
## About The Pull Request

This sets up an alternative to the DRAGnet snares using the teleporter
to determine the destination of their snare teleport -- The DRAGnet
beacon.

![drag
net](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/28870487/0084d4d9-378f-4896-bc88-0685d6407999)

Rather than using a convoluted system that routes via the teleporter,
DRAGnets can now by synced with a DRAGnet beacon. When snare rounds are
fired and successfully teleport a target, they will instead be sent to
the synced beacon. Syncing can be done by either pressing the gun to the
beacon or vice-versa.

These beacons can be wrenched into place, then swiped with a security ID
to block them from being unwrenched. An emag will unlock and unwrench
the beacon, and fry its access control.

To facilitate this change, roundstart DRAGnet armory spawns are now done
through spawners (like the other weapons), which includes a single
beacon to be used by the two guns. You can print more with basic sec
tech, and one is included in the DRAGnet crate from cargo.

The teleport is also slightly more accurate, to make it more consistent.
As usual, if not synced to a beacon, DRAGnets will just teleport your
target willy-nilly.
## Why It's Good For The Game

The current system is both clunky and prone to mishaps, dissuading
players from engaging with it. The "active" teleporter concept has
always been a bit of a mystery to players, and when a system for
properly using the DRAGnet teleport is set up, it's incredibly easy to
break even on accident. Every time you teleport a prisoner you have to
pray that no bumbling space explorer decided to reroute the teleporter
to the abandoned satellite.

This system is much more clear and reliable. It's also more versatile,
allowing for multiple teleport networks to be set up simultaneously.
Security is starved for creativity at times. They deserve to be able to
do some wacky dynamic stuff with their tools.
## Changelog
🆑 Rhials
balance: DRAGnets now come with a beacon they can be synced to, which
will set the destination for the snare round's teleport ability.

daa34b9f19 [no gbp] Sparks don't ignite furniture (unless you made it out of plasma you fucking lunatic), sparks have a decreasing chance to ignite bigger items, small fix to obj/fire_act() signal (#84111)
## About The Pull Request

Even though it's hilarious, sparks currently ignite any flammable thing
they touch whatsoever; including gigantic wooden/cloth items, or tables
and chairs. Turning areas with wooden furnitures into fields of ash
wasn't the intent, so I adjusted sparks to not ignite furniture (you can
put welding fuel under them if that's your intent) and items bigger than
small items have a steadily decreasing chance to get ignited by sparks
(normal is 50%, bulky is 20%, bigger than bulky won't ignite only from
sparks)

d10d790f67 Sparks ignite flammable things (including people), welding fuel pools now ignite in response to more things logically (#83673)
## About The Pull Request

Currently, sparks only ignite the air in rooms with
plasma/tritium/hydrogen in them. This PR changes sparks to ignite
flammable things they touch, including mobs covered in flammable
liquids. They also marginally heat containers (40K temp increase from a
broken light bulb).

The initial purpose was to make welding fuel pools more responsive to
flaming things being thrown into them. I have also done that. They now
respond to hot objects (including flaming mobs) entering their space or
being thrown onto them. They are also ignited by sparks.

This PR makes sparks a fire hazard. Keep a fire extinguisher handy.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Safety hazards are fun. Sparks should, logically, set flammable things
on fire, including YOU. Welding fuel pools should be more hazardous.

920cd7459d Neutralised anomalies respect the core limit (#83964)
## About The Pull Request

This PR changes it so that if you refine an anomaly by neutralising it,
it respects the same limit on number of anomaly cores as refining one
you bought from Cargo.
If it would produce an illegal core, it will create a mostly useless

raw core.

## Why It's Good For The Game

https://hackmd.io/@tgstation/r1tzxpwPL
This was a requirement in the original design doc which just never made
it into the game.

6fea9d999d Small playsound audit, particularly involving portal sounds (#83893)
## About The Pull Request

I was looking at sounds (as you do) and I noticed this

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/51863163/25b298ca-31ac-48a0-9f86-c65a8becd532)

These sounds don't exist

We have `portal_open_1`, not `portal_open1`.
This wasn't caught on compile because they used `""` and not `''`.

So I went through and audited a bunch of playsound uses that don't use
`''`. Only one error, fortunately

Likewise there was a ton of places running `get_sfx` pointlessly
(because `playsound` does it for you) so I clened that up.

However while auditing the portal stuff I noticed a few oddities, so I
cleaned it up a bit.

Also also I added the portal sounds to the wormholes event and gave it a

Notable changes:
Sinks replaced with custom liquid plasma dispensers.
Welding fuel tanks are now outside.
Solid plasma sheets removed.
Stony road is now a new tile, asphalt.
Added a plasma gas tank, with a controller inside.
You can refill plasma canisters using piping connectors, like the space
version of this ruin.
Shortened the road to make the ruin play nicer with terrain generation.
Expanded the back room slightly.
Moved the lizard to the back room so he aggros watchers and bileworms
less.
Gave the lizard a name, and adds a missing lizard plush.
Reinforces the outside walls/windows.
Adds some flavour items (trash spawners, posters and empty canisters).
## Why It's Good For The Game
There was a bunch of little things that annoyed me about this ruin, so I
went through and changed a lot.

Replacing the solid plasma and welding fuel sinks was important because
those were silly and added little to gameplay. The plasma chamber can be
siphoned off into canisters and taken to the station where they can be
sold, or sabotaged to create fiery clouds. Instead of removing the sinks
entirely, I made them dispense liquid plasma instead and changed the
sprites. Making them into solid sheets is a fun puzzle for miners to
solve.

The road also had to go. The pipes appearing above ground looked awful
and the decals didn't work. So now it's a section of asphalt road. The
asphalt can be removed, it's basalt underneath. This helps the outside
match Lavaland's pallette better. The road was shortened to make the
ruin more compact and look better when it generated over lava, I hated
the roads ending cleanly in the middle of a lava lake.

The inside didn't get changed a lot. Atmos was fixed so it filters out
Lavaland stink. Some minor cosmetic stuff like adding posters to bare
walls and moving the freezer section away from the door. The backrooms
got expanded and now has a sofa so it's more usable as a break room.
## Changelog

108880a1e6 Sneeze Rework: Projectile Combat Edition (#83361)
## About The Pull Request
Reworks sneezing. Instead of a range check that checks if you're facing

https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/7501474/c11ffa16-9bd2-4ed1-8022-2094360657bc

All sneezes shoot projectiles, but depends on the virus if they're
infectious. Using the sneeze emote is the only method that doesn't shoot
a sneeze

## Why It's Good For The Game
I think the invisible infection mechanics are unfun. A lot of station
dangers challenge your knowledge and mechanical skill, while viruses are
gotten by being around people in a roleplay game. You can get a round
seriously ruined if you walk past someone with a sneezing virus and
don't immediately rush spaceillin or chemistry, which I don't think is
mechanically interesting.

Now if you get infected, it's a skill issue. Get good and dodge the
sneeze

Note that this is just one method of infection. I didn't touch coughing
and airborne viruses, which do constant area checks and infect everyone
around. I plan to, but not now. I'll probably make coughing do a cone or
something, and ignore the airborne viruses since they can't be modified
and are generally less broken

- this is an asteroid station, so assistants can larp as dorfs and mine

- there is plenty multiz usage
- service is the center of the station

**Service** - Is the center of the station. Arrivals docks directly in
the middle of the station next to Upper Service, so bar might get more
traffic. Not much different than normal Service, but janitors closet is
also present here, he sleeps on the floor. We do not talk about the
janitor. Above Bar is Library and Hydroponics with an overlook to look

**Civilian** - Also in the center of the station, next to bar. There
isnt much to talk about dorms, its pretty normal.

**Cargo** - Absence of chutes that go to departments, reminder that mail
sorting is a thing. Cargo bay is a big open area with a boutique/shop
facing primary hall that starts closed, and Cargo has its own crate
elevator. Theres upper Cargo where mining, bitrunning and a secure
warehouse is located (There may be a murder scene). The quartermasters
office spans two z-levels and is relatively compact. Not much else
different from regular cargo. ~~Oh also the QM starts with an empty

**Medical** - Large centralized medbay, also two z-levels. There is a
public waiting room with triage and a reception. There is also an inner
elevator for the crippled. There are two medbay-access patient rooms
that are unrestricted from the inside, and two operating rooms. Medbay
has its own rad shelter. The virologist does not get their own
satellite, but is still relatively secure.

**Command** - AI Sat transit tube access is here. HoP has an open stall
facing primary hall, ~~and maybe a piano trapdoor~~ pretty classic
bridge, Captain does not get his own office but gets a really
comfortable quarters with his own emergency mass ejection for abandoning
ship. The council meeting room is present above bridge, with ERT Ferry
dock docking inside adjacent to the council room.

**Security** - Mostly bottom z level security. Very compact brig cells,
and a meeting room that everyone that is related to security may spawn
in if youre lucky. Warden has a weapon handout point facing the inner
security hall and the equipment room. Reeducation chamber has a shocked
grille treadmill. HoS and Warden Room and armory are on the upper
z-level, and warden has a VERY good overlook over permabrig. Armory is
seperated into nonlethal to mostly nonlethal and lethal.

**Science** - Also pretty centralized, breakroom with a smoking corner,
two z levels and a big overlook. RD office overlooks toxins and bomb
site. Genetics and RD Office is on the upper floor, with a science
exclusive monkey exhibit. Xenobio is thick due to proximity to bomb
site, otherwise normal.

**AI Sat** - Okay at this point assume any department is multiz. The
antechamber is an elevator and the turrets are on said elevator. The
elevator may be sent to the top level by engineers, where the AI core
is. Telecomms is on the bottom level, and AI core is above it. Contains
a borg entertainment room, and also the upload. The elevator being
raised is necessary to properly enter AI Room.

**Engineering** - Contains a less stale but still average and less than
optimal SM setup. Prone to catastrophic disaster. The SM Room is two
levels and very open, and CE has a trapdoor directly into the shard.
Turbine is above atmospherics, so is the crystallizer. The HFR and main
atmos and distribution room are on the bottom level. Piped by **Kendra
Hunter**. Contains a built in electrolyzer corner so atmos mains stop
gutting the aesthetics to place down some dumb machine.

refactor: Borg module code now has better handling for adding/removing
items, and to prevent duplicate module usage (Unless one wishes to
override the behaviour.

a173d0b94d Reduce bioscrambler range & makes its activation visible (#83547)
## About The Pull Request

This PR:
- Reduces the radius on being bioscrambled from 5 to 2
- Adds an animation when it bioscrambles you
- Reduces the cooldown between pulses from 15 seconds to 10

![dreamseeker_aeNqpLI4kd](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/7483112/4fc95431-bf71-47e2-9e0e-1384fba212fc)

## Why It's Good For The Game

Now that the anomaly actively pursues people it no longer needs to have
a really long range in order to catch them
I think it pulsing slightly more frequently but also more avoidably is
more fun

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Bioscramblers pulse more often but with less range, plus you
can see them pulsing.

b872baf465 Removes miasma and gibs diseases (#83455)
## About The Pull Request
Removes miasma generating random viruses (in two locations for some
reason)
Also removes diseases being generated by gibs, which is responsible for
a lot of disease spam

## Why It's Good For The Game
New diseases are spread through events and virology (and some other
minor sources). Miasma and gibs are a source of random viruses that
dilutes player response to diseases. It's frankly exhausting curing the
disease outbreak, just to see 10 others pop-up. Hopefully we can reduce
the madness a bit and place more focus on individual diseases

## Changelog

8eb3b51ad9 /icons/ folder cleansing crusade part 3 (#83420)
## About The Pull Request

In my effort to make the /icons/ folder cleaner and more intuitive
instead of having to rely on recalling names of stuff and looking them
up in code to find them for poor sods such as myself, plus in spurt of
complusion to organize stuff, here goes. I've tracked all changes in
commit descriptions. A lot still to be done, but I know these waves go
over dozens of files making things slow, so went lighter on it.
Destroyed useless impostor files taking up space and cleaned a stray
pixel on my way.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Cleaner /icons/ file means saner spriters, less time spent. Stray pixels
and impostor files (ones which are copies of actually used ones
elsewhere) are not good.

## Changelog

image: Cleaned a single stray pixel in a single frame of a bite

6da03cfb66 minor raptor tweaks (#83407)
## About The Pull Request
i think i made these a bit too strong, this hopefully balances them out
a bit. they were initially accidentally given alot of armor against
ranged attacks, this is now removed. also ive reduced their base hp by a
bit. im open to other suggestions and feedback

## Why It's Good For The Game
they were stronger than i intended. this keeps their usefulness for
battling tendrils, or ore vents but also prevents using them to cheese
several megafauna

## Changelog

Ben10Omintrix
761b14ef7c lavaland raptors (#82537)
## About The Pull Request
adds raptors to lavaland. these are creatures that have been created
through countless xenobiological experiments by nanotrasen to breed an
animal that can withstand the harsh conditions of lavaland and aid
miners. theres now a new ranch miners can access bottom right to the
mining base

![ranch](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/20d9e358-15a5-48e2-aee3-9364ca139e43)
this ranch starts somewhat empty as most raptors have escaped
containment and are now scattered all across lavaland, u can find them
and return them to ur ranch.

in order to tame a raptor, u first need to prove to it that ur a capable
master. when u try to ride it, a little minigame prompt will pop up

![minigame](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/dcc13102-7100-40c8-ae7a-089cd4daf868)
in this game, the bird's icon rapidly changes direction and u have to
quickly click the arrow thats OPPOSITE to the direction its facing
several times before the direction changes. if you fail 3 times itll
knock you off and run away, however if u win it will deem u a suitable
master and listen to your orders.

There's many different breeds of raptors you can find across lavaland,
all with different capabilities:
red raptors: these excel at combat and can be very useful for dealing
with lavaland mobs or defending the node drone
yellow raptors: are very speedy mounts, theyll get u from point A to
point B in record time
green raptors: they are the tankiest type of raptor and are very good
miners. while mounted, they will clear any rock walls in their path
purple raptors: can store items in them. they have a decent storage size
allowing players to carry more items across trips
white raptors: are able to heal other injured raptors. having one in ur
party would be very useful as they can nurse the combat raptors back to
full health when they need it
blue raptors: produce very nutritious milk with healing capabilities.
having 1 or 2 of these back at ur ranch would be very useful
black raptors: by far the rarest breed, its very unlikely that ull be
able to get one of these, but in the case u do, they have the combat
capabilities of the red raptor, speed of the yellow raptor, and
tankiness of the green raptor.

Breeding different colored raptors together can net u an entirely new
colored raptor. each breed has atleast 1 guaranteed combination of
parents that it will result out of.

you will also need to maintain a good friendship bond with ur raptors,
this is done by feeding them, grooming them, and petting them. u can see
the strength of ur bond by SHIFT clicking them. more hearts indicate a
stronger bond

![hearts](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/5662c5a7-2df3-4f98-99f4-a11faa17b569)
having higher friendship bonds means ur raptors will perform better in
combat, and in the case of blue raptors, they will produce more milk.
Maintaining friendship bonds with baby raptors and keeping them happy
will also encourage them to grow faster

U can also analyze raptors using the new raptor-dex device available at
ur ranch

![pokedex](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/82b92c0c-b7db-4a0d-997e-384a69c0ecbe)
the inherit modifiers indicate how strong this raptor's offspring will
be. raptors inherit attack and health stats from both their parents,
breeding raptors with higher inherit modifiers means the offspring will
be stronger.

raptors will also inherit some traits from their parents that will
change how they will act around u and around other raptors, some of them
being:
Playful: raptors will play with their masters and tease them
motherly: raptors will care for baby raptors, this will encourage baby
raptors to grow quicker
depressed: means its hard to keep this raptor happy and friendship bonds
will deteriorate faster if not given enough care.
coward: makes them flee combat if severly injured, ditching u to the
wolves
trouble maker: makes them attack other raptors at the ranch. however,
trouble maker raptors will not attack other trouble maker raptors,
instead they will form posses and bully raptors together. it might be a
good idea to isolate them from the other raptors

raptors primarily consume ores. to feed raptors, you need to place ore
into the food troughs at the ranch. they are too civilized to eat ores
off the ground or directly from ur hand, they will only eat it if its in
their trough

066815ab88 The armoury contraband locker guns have a chance to be rigged. (#83167)
## About The Pull Request
Gives a 10% chance for the handguns in the armoury to be rigged. The
makarov and desert eagle will have a clown pin, ultra clown pin or the
explosive ultra clown pin when rigged, randomly and uniformly weighted.
The pins can not be removed, even the normal ones, so there is only one
way to find out. The Unica 6 will be reversed, shooting you instead when
rigged.
## Why It's Good For The Game
People are too trustworthy of the gear they use in the contraband
locker. By giving them a chance to be rigged and backfire on them,
people will treat these guns like contraband and not toys. If someone
was treating them like a toy, they could receive a nice introduction of
the syndicate.
