Listing the changes, off the top of my head:
- Resprited fishing rods, hooks, and the worm bait!
- Added a new, telescopic fishing rod, that can be bought as a goodie.
The master rod is also telescopic now.
- Added a couple hooks. One that lets you move the bait up and down,
otherwise keeping it in place, and another that stops the fish from
escaping, but slowly kills it. The former from the bepis fishing tech
node, the latter frm the black market.
- Added a fishing skill and relative legendary reward: A fishing hat,
like the one that recites "women fear me, fish fear me"
- You can now stop fishing by activating the fishing rod in your hand,
and stops it from stealing all clicks on other things if it isn't in
your active hand.
- Reworked fishing traits into fish traits, which can apply to fish
after it has been caught.
- Expanded the fish breeding system. Traits may be passed down to
offsprings, and offsprings may evolve (mutate?) into different kind of
fishes if conditions when conditions are met.
- Added half a dozen new fishes, each with its own traits: lubefish,
sludgefish (and its purple variant), slimefish, unmarine bonemass and
unmarine mastodon. Also, holodeck fish, as a joke.
- New traits: lubed skin, parthenogenesis, toxic (new reagent), toxin
immunity, predator, necrophage, no mating, crossbreeder, aggressive and
revival. Converted Emulsijack's ability and Donkfish's yuckiness into
traits as well.
- Added a fish analyzer that you can scan aquariums and fishes with.
- Fish can now be blended if you really want to. The number of reagents
from blending, w_class, and the number of fillets you get from cutting
fish now scale with size and weight.
- fish feed is no longer infinite (but it should still be plenty).
- Implemented temperature requirements for aquarium fish.
- You can now buy (dead) fish from the black market for dirt cheap.
- Last but now least, toilets are now valid fishing spots.
Properly makes the crab on the holodeck beach into a holocrab
RUDE people were butchering the poor crab for infinite crab meat
leave him alone hes nice :(
* Makes condiments their own subtype, fixes geese, prepares for merging
* Fixes geese checking drink type instead of edible foodtype to eat gross food.
* Renames foodtype var on drinks to drink_types to prevent above from happening again because it KEEPS HAPPENING. DRINKS AREN'T FOOD!
* Makes Condiments their own subtype of reagent_containers because they don't make any use of being a subtype of food, at all.
* Starts moving things from food to /food/drink subtype in preparation for merging /food/drink with /drink
* fully removes Food subtype
* /reagent_containers/drinks are now /reagent_containers/cup - This is so it's no longer confused with eachother.
* /food/drinks is now /reagent_containers/cup/drinks, so we can keep their special abilities.
* Fixes a LOT of errors with food, which are STILL checking the reagent_containers, despite ACTUAL food being refactored away from it a long time ago.
This doesn't compile yet, but I do want to make sure my progress is well tracked.
* remove copypaste code, changes soda cans
* Removes most copy paste code between the two drinks, moving most stuff to parent whenever needed.
* Made soda cans their own subtype since they didn't share anything with glass bottles anyways.
* Fixes more problems with food/drinks, especially with geese. Geese really were just broken this whole time and no one said a word...
* Removes a snowflake signal, now that both drink types share a common one.
* Adds everything to the .dme
Currently my goal is to get this all compiling, then remove isGlass var by making glass be all glass ones only.
* Moves all icons into a single drinks dmi
I'm not that great at icon stuff, hopefully I didn't forget/break anything.
* Turns juices into their own subtype
This allows us to let them check for type in molotov, to both get rid of a use of isGlass, and so non-glass non-cartons don't show up as 'carton'.
* fixes compile issues, adds updatepaths
* a better updatepaths
* updates the damn maps now
* properly names the updatepath
* how did that get there
* i suck at handling merge conflicts
* how am i this bad
* code improvement and soda fix
* more fixes
* Don't be a timer
Ports from old food bottles to trans the reagents, rather than add a timer to.
* Merge conflicts and fixes bottle smashing
* Bottle smashing is now consistently functional regardless of how much liquid they have in them, when before it would spill first, then smash on the second hit.
* runs updatepaths again
* organizing flora file and icon states, & flags
Changes the typepath for a lot of flora, and adds new paths depending on the amount of icon states the flora had, for better modularization on mappers. Also adds flags to the flora depending on what type it was, instead of 3 bools
* Getting ready to attempt to modularize flora
Moving most vars and procs from ash flora into the normal flora type path, as a general preparation to add more here
* Weighted products & Region Messages
Rewrites flora code so a flora's produced items can be initialized with a weighted list. Also has some improvements, relating to item stacks.
Adds an option via variables to separate 3 messages into 3 possible regions, or the old method where the message changes when the value is exactly the same as the low or high harvest value
* organizing + documentation on procs
* Documentation, Organization & Modularization
(DOMing) yeah, I dom
Gives variables for tools that can harvest flora, a blacklist of them, and modularizes variables a bit.
Retypes the stump to be a subtype of a tree, which just deletes after being harvested
* Adds the ability to uproot flora with a shovel
* added eswords to the list of things that can cut
* ausbush junk
* code review appreciation + changing drag_slowdown
* more code review appreciation
* kirbyplants ComponentInitialize() -> Initialize()
* forgot glob.
Refactors the holodeck to use map templates instead of copy_contents_to, which every maintainer seems to have complaints about.
Fixes#41485 because the matches become part of the spawned list created by ssatoms
Fixes#54789 because the holodeck area no longer has the NO_TELEPORT flag
Fixes#55676 because the map templates cant be changed midround unlike the program copies in the centcom z level
Fixes#49318 because the holodeck no longer creates new areas like the original did
This pr also changes initTemplateBounds to be a /datum/map_template proc instead of a parsed_map proc. This was mainly so I wouldn't have to duplicate vars between map_template and parsed_map. It's also nice because there's no longer a parsed_map proc inside the map_template file, especially when it didn't need to be a parsed_map proc.
The holodeck sims wont take up space in the centcom z level any more (which allows for more possible programs in the future), and map templates are more heavily tested. This is also a chance to future proof the holodeck against bugs. Holodeck also seems more responsive. This should allow for a second custom holodeck in some future ruin as well, although that of course will not be in play for the near future because of the offstation content ban. Also I documented the fuck out of the holodeck
