## About The Pull Request
- Adds "Primal Instincts" brain trama.
- Special trauma
- Randomly, your body will be taken over by monkey AI.
- You will still be in control of the body, but you will have to fight
against the monkey ai for actions.
- There is a probability the monkey AI that takes control is aggressive,
meaning it will attack anyone nearby.
- While primal, you can understand monkey language.
- Adds "Kleptomania" brain trauma
- Severe trauma
- When you have empty hands, you will passively try to pick up things
near you.
- There is no feedback message associated, so you may not even notice
you did this.
- This effect is temporarily disabled if you have taken damage recently.
- Adds "Possessive" brain trauma
- Mild trauma
- Randomly, your held items will become undroppable for a short to
medium length of time.
## Why It's Good For The Game
I was looking through AI stuff recently and remembered we support
allowing AI controllers to work in cliented mobs, but we don't use it
anywhere (outside of adminbus)
So I wanted to add a brain trauma themed around that. Simple enough.
But I didn't want to PR just a single trauma, that's boring so I thought
of some additional ones. Just to spice up the other two trauma pools. I
especially wanted to add some traumas that interact with inventory and
items, because while a lot of our traumas involving how a person
interacts with the world, not many involve how a person interacts with
themself.

## About The Pull Request
Adds a new Trait Job (jobs which only appear when the station gets a
trait for it) - Veteran Advisor.
The weight of the trait is 2 which makes it very rare.
Veteran Security Advisor is a role designated as a (duh) Advisor for the
HoS and Captain, as well as a mentor for all of the Officers. This is
because it has an experience requirement of **100 SECURITY HOURS**, so
no green Veterans.
Veteran Security Advisors are paraplegic (bonded to a wheelchair) and
with PTSD which freezes their mood and sometimes causes hallucinations.
They get an M1911 pistol in a holster because that's badass.

## Why It's Good For The Game
More funny Trait Jobs to the game!
There is a certain lack of those, there is only Cargorilla and Bridge
Assistant.
This job has big opportunities. Advisors can behave themselves like
drill sergeants, or wise old mentors. Because they are kinda, as people
only with 100 Security hours (yes those masochists exist) could play it
when it appears. This will also open opportunities for retired Sec mains
to tutor new generations without being directly involved in all of the
stress.
I mostly took a look at the Goonstation "Nanotrasen Security Consultant"
and Baystation "Senior Enlisted Advisor" as inspiration.
I tried to cut down any chances of this role being abused by power
gamers for its M1911 pistol and Bridge access, due to this they are
paraplegic so power gamers get disgusted, and if someone does somehow
win Antagonists while in a wheelchair - props to them, pure skill.
**REMEMBER THAT THIS IS A TRAIT JOB!** This means they won't appear
every round, but rather rarely! So they fit in as an occasional extra
fun for the round.

## About The Pull Request
- Kicks Martial Arts out of the attack chain.
- All Martial Arts attacks are now handled via unarmed attack or grab
signals
- This means all martial arts are now technically on the living level,
allowing any mob that can unarmed attack to martial arts. Sort of. YMMV.
- All martial arts block checking is now handled by the arts themselves,
meaning you can selectively decide for a martial arts strike to not be
blocked. Maybe good for the future.
- A comprehensive cleanup of all existing martial arts. Improving var
names, code, adding some missing animation calls, etc.

## About The Pull Request
FOV as it is currently implemented is incompatible* with wallening.
I'm doin wallening, so we gotta redo things here.
The issue is the masking of mobs. Wallening relies on sidemap (layering
based off physical position), which only works on things on the same
plane (because planes are basically sheets we render down onto)
So rather then masking mobs, let's reuse the masking idea from old fov,
and use it to cut out a bit of the game render plane, and
blur/over-saturate the bit that's masked out.
My hope is this makes things visible in light, but not as much in
darkness, alongside making more vivid shit more easily seen (just like
real life)
Here's some videos, what follows after is the commits I care about
(since I had to rip a bunch of planes to nothing, so the files changed
tab might be a bit of a mess)
Oh also I had to remove the darkness pref since the darkness is doing a
lot of the heavy lifting now. I'm sorry.
Edit:
NEW FOV SPRITES! Thanks dongle your aviator glasses will guide us to a
better future.

## Commits I Care About
[Implements something like fov, but without the planes as layers
hell](a604c7b1c8)
Rather then masking out mobs standing behind us, we use a combo color
matrix and blur filter to make the stuff covered by fov harder to see.
We achive this by splitting the game plane into two, masking both by fov
(one normally and one inversely), and then applying effects to one of
the two.
I want to make the fov fullscreens more gradient, but as an effect this
is a good start
[Removes WALL_PLANE_UPPER by adding a WALL_PLANE overlay to material
walls (init cost comes
here)](2548933739)
@Mothblocks see this. comment in commit explains further but uh, we need
to draw material walls to the light mask plane so things actually can be
seen on them, but we can't do that and also have them be big, so they
get an overlay. Sorry, slight init time bump, about 0.5 seconds. I can
kill it with wallening.
[Moves SEETHROUGH_PLANE above
ABOVE_GAME_PLANE](beec4c00e0)
I don't think it actually wants to draw here
@Time-Green I think this was you so pinging for opinion
[Resprites FOV masks to be clean (and more
consistent)](f02ad13696)

This tracks the seconds per tick of a subsystem, however note that it is

On the tin, doing it like this means we can reduce our overall line
fingerprint whenever we have to add two or more traits from the same
source on the same target. Especially helps when we get to the 4+ range
of traits, a breath of fresh air even.
Doesn't mean we have to do for loops, as that's already handled within
the define as well. I replaced some of the checks with `length()`
checks, let me know if I should switch it over to something else (maybe
`islist()`)? We stack_trace whenever we're not passed a list reference
on purpose, and sometimes var/lists are null by default (or just empty,
making this redundant).
## Why It's Good For The Game
I commonly feel the urge to write "use `AddTraits()`" or something in
reviews, then am sad when I remember it doesn't exist. I will no longer
be sad.
Can ensure a lot more trait safety as well by using static lists- when
both ADD_TRAIT_LIST and REMOVE_TRAIT_LIST re-use the same list, you are
confident (from a static point of view) that everything that you want to
be adding/removing works.
I may have missed a few things where this could be used, but both macros
implemented in this PR still use the same framework that was being used
in the last four years- so stuff won't break if left untouched. Just a
nifty new tool for developers.
also fixed up some code in the area, numerous bugs were found and
exploded

there was only one annoying/tough file.
imaginary_friend.dm had class = 'game say' and class = 'emote' both of
which after some testing did not seem like they did anything. ill try to
keep that in mind in other files if i continue to do this but i either
omitted them because they didnt have any formatting or, in the case of
emote, turned it into name, which i think is what you'd want those
messages to look like.
there were also a few small spelling errors that i fixed

## About The Pull Request
This changes stamina damage from a damage that affects limbs (like brute
and burn) to a damage that affects the body at whole (such as tox or
oxy)
Stamina being run like brute or burn is rooted all the way back to when
it was halloss, and used exclusively for holodeck items and
hallucinations.
Most coders probably didn't even know that stamina worked like this, and
most implimentatiosn of stmaina mechanics use a generic "adjust stamina"
or a "apply_damage(type = stamina zone - body_zone_chest)" to avoid the
issues that come when stamina is evenly distributed among limbs (and
some limbs only count as a fraction to stamina damage total)
The only thing that is truly lost here, is disabling limbs (arms and
legs) with stamina damage, by aiming specifically at them with disablers
(batons always apply their stamina damage to the chest, no matter where
they hit) our through smashing limbs on tables.
The idea of making an opponent drop a weapon out of pain is fun, but
stamina doesn't support it, or make sense in context.
A depth filled limb-based pain system that has interactions with
painkillers and replaces damage based move slowdown would be fun, and
maybe something that could be implemented in the future.
## Why It's Good For The Game
The biggest draw here, is that it will make stamina easier to maintain
## Changelog

Makes the code compatible with 515.1594+
Few simple changes and one very painful one.
Let's start with the easy:
* puts call behind `LIBCALL` define, so call_ext is properly used in 515
* Adds `NAMEOF_STATIC(_,X)` macro for nameof in static definitions since
src is now invalid there.
* Fixes tgui and devserver. From 515 onward the tmp3333{procid} cache
directory is not appened to base path in browser controls so we don't
check for it in base js and put the dev server dummy window file in
actual directory not the byond root.
* Renames the few things that had /final/ in typepath to ultimate since
final is a new keyword
And the very painful change:
`.proc/whatever` format is no longer valid, so we're replacing it with
new nameof() function. All this wrapped in three new macros.
`PROC_REF(X)`,`TYPE_PROC_REF(TYPE,X)`,`GLOBAL_PROC_REF(X)`. Global is
not actually necessary but if we get nameof that does not allow globals
it would be nice validation.
This is pretty unwieldy but there's no real alternative.
If you notice anything weird in the commits let me know because majority
was done with regex replace.
@tgstation/commit-access Since the .proc/stuff is pretty big change.

About The Pull Request
Reorganizes the entire icons/mob folder.
Added the following new subfolders:
nonhuman-player (this was initially just called "antag", but then I realized guardians aren't technically antags)
simplemob
silicon
effects (for bloodstains, fire, etc)
simplemob/held-pets (for exactly that -- I wasn't sure if this should go in inhands instead)
species/monkey
Moves the following stuff:
All human parts moved into species, with moth, lizard, monkey, etc parts moved to corresponding subfolders. Previously, there were some moth parts in mob/species/moth, and others just loose in mob. Other species were similar.
icemoon, lavaland, and jungle folders made into subfolders of simplemob
All AI and silicon stuff, as well as Beepsky et al. into the silicon folder, simplemobs into the simplemob folder, aliens into the nonhuman-player folder, etc.
Split up animal_parts.dmi into two bodyparts.dmi which were put in their respective folders (species/alien and species/monkey)
Code changes:
Filepath changes to account for all of this
Adds a check when performing surgery on monkeys and xenos, because we can no longer assume their limbs are in the same file
Turns some hardcoded statues and showcases that were built into maps into objects instead
Things I'd like to do in the future but cant be assed right now:
Remove primarily-antag sprites from simplemob/mob.dmi (Revenant, Morph, etc.) and put them in the nonhuman-player folder
Split up mutant_bodyparts.dmi into different files for Tizirans, Felinids, monkeys, etc and put them in their own folders. Those may have once been meant primarily for mutated humans but that's now how they're being used right now.
Please don't try and send chat messages if you have nothing to say
Fixes a spurious runtime.
Fixes a runtime caused by my lack of understanding of huds. remove_hud_from is intended for hud watchers, remove_from_hud is intended for hud items. Doesn't really make sense most of the time, and just runtimes out the ass
Fixes a runtime in shapeshifting, restore should not run if the object is not restoring, or if it's deleting. it should run if it's not restoring, and it's not deleted. 4head
Fun fact, if there's two turret control boards they'll override each other. Use weakrefs. Oh also removes a var called cp, nothing good will come of that
Today in: Good lord the stacking machine is an afront to god, we discover that the labor claims console was attempting to act as a console, which of course fails when it comes time to clear it's improperly named var. Disgusting
Attempts to fix potential wound ref hangs in surgeries? maybe?
Fixes a runtime in luminescent stuff I created in my big harddel crusade. owner is a mob, not a species
Fixes a runtime related to headspikes deleting themselves twice. Pain
Fixes hard deletes sourced from the prophet trauma. Good fucking lord this is awful
Offhand item is somehow hard deleting. I have no idea how. Here's hoping signals fixes it, because if it doesn't I'm stumped. It's not a common scenario, but it does happen in spurts that suggest repeated usage
## About The Pull Request
stop forgetting to include mapload, if you don't include it then every single subtype past it by default doesn't include it
for example, `obj/item` didn't include mapload so every single item by default didn't fill in mapload

## Regex used:
procs without args, not even regex
`/Initialize()`
procs with args
`\/Initialize\((?!mapload)((.)*\w)?`
cleanup of things i didn't want to mapload:
`\/datum\/(.)*\/Initialize\(mapload`
Converts most spans into span procs. Mostly used regex for this and sorted out any compile time errors afterwards so there could be some bugs.
Was initially going to do defines, but ninja said to make it into a proc, and if there's any overhead, they can easily be changed to defines.
Makes it easier to control the formatting and prevents typos when creating spans as it'll runtime if you misspell instead of silently failing.
Reduces the code you need to write when writing spans, as you don't need to close the span as that's automatically handled by the proc.
(Note from Lemon: This should be converted to defines once we update the minimum version to 514. Didn't do it now because byond pain and such)
- Makes `/mob/living/proc/Life` and most related procs use `delta_time`
- Procs that had snowflaked timing systems, such as breathing, addiction, and advanced diseases were left unchanged.
Converts many proc overrides to properly use list/modifiers, fixes some spots where modifiers should have been passed, calls modifiers what it is, a lazy list, and cleans up some improper arg names like L, M, C, and N. Oh and I think there was a spot where someone was trying to pass M.name in as a string, but forgot to wrap it in []. I fixed that too.
About The Pull Request
This PR removes intents and replaces them with a combat mode. An explanation of what this means can be found below
Major changes:
Disarm and Grab intents have been removed.
Harm/Help is now combat mode, toggled by F or 4 by default
The context/verb/popup menu now only works when you do shift+right-click
Right click is now disarm, both in and out of combat mode.
Grabbing is now on ctrl-click.
If you're in combat mode, and are currently grabbing/pulling someone, and ctrl-click somewhere else, it will not release the grab (To prevent misclicks)
Minor interaction changes:
Right click to dissasemble tables, racks, filing cabinets (When holding the right tool to do so)
Left click to stunbaton, right click to harmbaton
Right click to tip cows
Right click to malpractice surgery
Right click to hold people at gunpoint (if youre holding a gun)
Why It's Good For The Game
Intents heavily cripple both the code and the UI design of interactions. While I understand that a lot of people will dislike this PR as they are used to intents, they are one of our weakest links in terms of explaining to players how to do specific things, and require a lot more keypresses to do compared to this.
As an example, martial arts can now be done without having to juggle 1 2 3 and 4 to switch intents quickly.
As some of you who saw the first combat mode PR, the context menu used to be disabled in combat mode. In this version it is instead on shift-right click ensuring that you can always use it in the same way.
In this version, combat mode also no longer prevents you from attacking with items when you would so before, as this was something that was commonly complained about.
The full intention of this shift in control scheme is that right click will become "secondary interaction" for items, which prevents some of the awkward juggling we have now with item modes etcetera.

About The Pull Request
Converts every single usage of playsound's vary parameter to use the boolean define instead of 1 or 0. I'm tired of people copypasting the incorrect usage.
Also changes a couple of places where a list was picked from instead of using get_sfx internal calls
This was done via regex:
(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)1( ?\)| ?,.+\)) to match 1
(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)0( ?\)| ?,.+\)) to match 0
full sed commands:
/(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)1( ?\)| ?,.+\))/\1TRUE\2/ 1 to TRUE
/(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)0( ?\)| ?,.+\))/\1FALSE\2/ 0 to FALSE
I'm not very good with regex and these could probably be optimized, but they worked.

Moves canmove to a bitflag in a new variable called mobility_flags, that will allow finer grain control of what someone can do codewise, for example, letting them move but not stand up, or stand up but not move.
Adds Immobilize()d status effect that freezes movement but does not prevent anything else.
Adds Paralyze()d which is oldstun "You can't do anything at all and knock down).
Stun() will now prevent any item/UI usage and movement (which is similar to before).
Knockdown() will now only knockdown without preventing item usage/movement.
People knocked down will be able to crawl at softcrit-speeds
Refactors some /mob variables and procs to /mob/living.
update_canmove() refactored to update_mobility() and will handle mobility_flags instead of the removed canmove

Refactors are done. I'd rather get this merged faster than try to fine tune stuff like slips. The most obvious gameplay effect this pr has will be crawling, and I believe I made tiny tweaks but I can't find it Anything I missed or weird behavior should be reported.
fix: having higher sanity is no longer punished by making you enter crit faster
balance: you can have 100 mood instead of 99 before it starts slowly decreasing
Remember higher sanity is BETTER
You want crit_modifier (now crit_threshold) to be LOW so you can stay in fights more (you go into crit at 5hp vs 0hp).
Why: Proc overhead, puts the load on mood, proper abstraction of mood component, values > defines, etc.

del: removed beauty / dirtyness
balance: Mood no longer gives you hallucinations, instead makes you go into crit sooner
