Made carp actually hurt humans. Also, they can now sometimes knock you down when they attack you. Additionally, I added some new variables dictating attack speed and sound associated with attacking for critters. Carp now make bitey noises, rejoice!
I also fixed some other miscallenous bugs with metroids attacking stuff.

The way feedback is gathered is that the three procs are placed in code where feedback is wanted, these in turn set variables in the blackbox (Yes, I could have done it in an out-of-world datum or object, but I just prefer having an actual physical object gather this stuff.) At the end of the round, all acquired data is saved to a database. I still need to get ahold of TLE to make the required tables and bugtest some things.
The saving proc exsists, but is not yet called due to the lack for a table to save to. The rest of it should work fine tho, so you can place the feedbac_set, _inc and _dec procs around code and see what they provide via view variables, it just won't save it to the database yet.

Bugfix
People spawning on the starting screen on rev/cult should be fixed.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1964 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
- Laser cannons / Heavy laser cannons should now not be all mixed up.
- Fixed a bug where the station heads and security crew could be revolutionaries and cultists on game start.
- If you somehow drop the "Off Hand" that appears if you equip a fire axe, it will be deleted. No more silly "Off Hand" items lying around the station, yay!
- If you threw a fire axe when it was wielded, it would would stay wieled.
- Metroids should now, theoretically, not be able to phase through thin windows and glass doors. There's probably still going to be some Metroids phasing through thin glass doors if the right circumstances are met (BYOND pathfinding problem, will eventually migrate Metroid pathfinding to SS13's A* system.
- Fixed up some of Firecage's half-assed sprites. The decloner projectile in specific.
Misc:
- Portable turrets can now be equipped with EVERY (except the "plasma gun" because it's stupid anyway) energy gun possible. I want to see laser cannons turrets, emagged energy crossbow turrets, and shock revolver turrets, people!
- The decloner is no longer called "decloner" because that term really doesn't make any sense anyway. Does it imply that everyone in existence is actually a clone? While that does sound kind of cool, it's actually pretty stupid, so I changed the name but kept the path type "/obj/item/weapon/gun/energy/decloner".

Admin changes:
Admin attack logs now have a timestamps. Basically, before each log entry there is something that displays [hour:minute:second]. I plan on expanding this functionality to all kinds of logs, as well as creating a global attack log, but this will do for now.
Gloves:
You can still electrify any gloves with a power cell, however you have to use wires on non-insulated (yellow) gloves to create a "ghetto-insulation" system. I might make these gloves' stun effects more watered-down than normal insulated gloves, but that will probably be for later on.
Bugfixes:
Fixed some miscellaneous runtime errors, and more importantly, the shotgun. You can dry-pump it by clicking on it, which will eject any used shots or just make that badass "chuck-chick" sound to let everyone know you mean business. Combat shotguns can now shoot twice without the need to pump.
I also possibly fixed the issue with metroids' AI process locking up. Someone's going to have to PM me on the forums to tell me if this worked or not, because I have not been able to reproduce the bug (although I do know where it's happening in the code).
Chemistry:
Alright, so this is where the meat of this update is. In a previous revision (r1905) I mentioned the addition of a new "color" variable. This variable now has a use. When you use a spray cleaner, or a chem sprayer which now is significantly more powerful, the color combination of all the reagents inside the sprayer will be displayed instead of the plain old blue-white color. This will allow for people to easily distinguish reagents and colors, for instance, if you see some chemist running around spraying orange or purple stuff chances are that's acid he's spraying, so you should probably subdue him!
In addition, you will now be able to see beakers (large ones too) fill up visually. The color of the reagents inside the beaker is overlayed on top of the beaker. The colors may be subject to change to make them brighter or more easily identifiable by "category". Currently, most pharmaceuticals have a light pinkish color. Polytrinic acid has a distinct purple color, etc. However, with due time I can picture chemists mixing other, benign-ish reagents with harmful reagents so passerbys think that a chemist is spraying someone with something harmless, but in reality is spraying them with a bunch of PAcid. There are some consequences, for instance, concentrated acid is more powerful than watered-down acid.
Have fun with that.

Replaced swat gear in assassin equip list with black gloves and shoes. CentCom Commander equip now includes a bullet-proof vest.
Upgraded holograms. It is now possible to create them dybamically through getHologramIcon(). If you want to tweak how they look, change that proc.
AI can now project holograms for anyone registered on the crew. Holograms that do no fit this category can also be added now (like the one the AI starts with).
Added generic holographic projection machinery category. Should now be possible to create wanted hologram projections and two-way communication using holograms. Unfinished but someone else can work on it.
Fixed regular cigar sprite from another commit.
Fixed deathsquad helmet down sprite. Also, adjusted it to look more unique.
Updated swat mask.
Made the swat boots use the jackboot sprite. Made swatboots actually as fast as other boots.
Added a Honker destroyed and open sprites.
Some misc icon tweaks.
Ninjas:
Adrenaline boost now resets player stat to 0. Due to lag, it was possible to adrenaline boost but remain helpless while life.dm resets stat. It's technically possible to come back from crit health (momentarily, before life.dm knocks you right back in crit) but I think it's a fair tradeoff.
Some minor fixes.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1769 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
Adjusted ninja random event to go with the new mode changes.
Due to inclusion of monkey mode, added back monkey ability to vent crawl. Identical to larva.
Brains can now suicide.
Warden now starts out with a special hat. Welcome to Hat Station 13.
Holograms should no longer be draggable by space wind.
Slight change to pulse rifle so it looks like the older sprite.
Added deathsquad armor to admin equip list.
Added tunnel clown gear to admin equip list.
Fixed minor announcement bug with respawn_character.
PDAs now redirect to Notekeeper when the code is used again with an unlocked uplink.
Added a note for built AIs to adjust camera network. Camera movement doesn't always work right without adjusting the network first.
Ninjas can now hold an extra battery in their hat and suit slots.
C4s now give a message when planted on people and are recorded in the attack log.
Fixed spelling on messaging server.

Currently there are three - PASSTABLE, PASSGLASS and PASSGRILLE. PASSTABLE - same as TABLEPASS, PASSGRILLE - can this atom pass through grilles and PASSGLASS - can this atom pass through windows, glass doors, etc. Most can_pass() procs were updated.
Added checkpass atom proc to check if this atom has certain pass_flag set.
- Added proc/sanitize_simple() and proc/strip_html_simple(). sanitize_simple does not html_encode the string and strip_html_simple does not sanitize it. Additionally, sanitize_simple and sanitize can take associative list of key-val chars as second argument, where key is char to searh for and val is replacement.
- Added datum/gas_mixture/proc/return_volume() and datum/gas_mixture/proc/return_temperature().
- Added proc/tg_text2list() and proc/tg_list2text(). tg_list2text is slower then dd_list2text, but processes associative lists differently (it adds not the keys, but associated values). tg_text2list is somewhat faster then dd_text2list.
- Added proc/listclearnulls(), proc/difflist(), proc/intersectlist() and proc/uniquemergelist(). Check the code comments for more info.
- Mechs can hold 3 equipment pieces. Gygax can hold 4.
- Tweaked global_iterator CRASH report.
- Fixed mech pilot ejection if mecha was destroyed.
- Fixed mech fabricator process() waiting for sync() to finish.
- Fixed mech fabricator Topic() waiting for process_queue() to finish.
- Some bugixes related to global map and random sectors.

Fixed aliens :a talking while dead.
Disabled hand-tele on clown-planet z-level since people were still finding ways to abuse it.
PDA menu will close properly if detomatrix fails and explodes own PDA.
Late joiners are now added to minds. It's now possible to assassinate them, and so on, as an objective.
Added a few more objectives (capture, steal brain of, protect, and download research) and new possible items to steal (also fixed admin-added steal objectives). Mostly focused on ninjas but admins can give them to regular traitors. Only research downloading is outright impossible for regular traitors (they must wear a ninja suit).
Added a few revisions to mind/objective datums and a few other things. The game should now report any extra antagonists for most round types, excluding AI malfunction.
Added two new words to station_name.dm.
Other misc changes.

Fixed teleporting randomly on clown planet z level (with hand tele). Probably won't work on extended but who cares.
Some misc improvements to code words.
Cut down on the amount of chloralhydrate in the sleepypen since it was fatal, apparently.
Fixed observing. Entry shuttle starts with less sleepers than before.
Some more wip stuff.

#Added an icon helper procs library by Lummox Jr.
#Added more icon+overlay functionality by DarkCampainger. Both can be found under icon_procs.dm.
#Added continuous beam code by Gunbuddy to atom.dm. You can now create continuous beams of energy/magic/monkeys/whatever. For instance, pAI cords. It's really awesome.
#Like optical camo? Well I have good news. New stealth "graphic." May need some fine tuning depending on player/coder preference. It's also a little slow to change (due to update_clothing()). With that said, it's a lot cooler than what we had before. Check it out.
#Added the getIconMask() and AddCamoOverlay() procs for the above.
#Added animated satic filter icons by Koil to icons.
#New force wall and shield icons. Shield icons moved to effects.dmi.
#Changed up the abandoned mining station.
#Moved a few carp spawn points closer to the station. Added a few more.
Ninjas:
No longer spawn whoknowswhere like they did at times before.
Get a unique stealth graphic. Yup. Also, small chance of failure.
New energy net icon and effects. Energy net now uses the beam code mentioned above. It will now check for stealth.
Fixed some graphical icon issues with ninja suit. Added a female black jumpsuit to icons for this reason. Added icon directions to ninja effects.
Some more general code cleanup.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1664 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
#Ninja suit now supports pAIs. Further functionality will probably come from their development.
#Ninja suit can now replenish chemicals from beakers. Simply use a beaker on the suit and it will do the rest, if the beaker contains the right combination of chemicals.
#Draining from a wire is now done through clicking instead of a verb. There is no more delay to it.
#Ninja stars cost a bit more energy than before.
#Ninja suit will start initializing automatically (and quickly) when ninja spawned.
#Minor sprite fix for female ninja suit.
#Note: AI-related verbs for the ninja suit will be bugged until BYOND 484 comes out. Not a huge deal but worth noting.
#The has_reagent() proc will now return the reagent being checked for, instead of 1. Will return 0 if reagent is not found (or the amount does not match). Removed a duplicate arithrazine entry.
#AIs should now properly camera_cancel() when carded/physically transfered.
#Fixed a small menu display bug for AI cards. AI cards should now properly auto close their window when appropriate.
#AI holograms should now project above everything.
#Mal AIs can now choose to display an alternative (and awesome) sprite.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1655 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
#Added a locked list to datacore in order to track character spawn, particularly for respawn_character(). May be useful in the future.
#Added a proc to randomize appearance for any human mob, randomize_appearance_for(mob). It will not take into account gender as you will have to provide it. Names and so on are also randomized but that can be overwritten in the code following.
#Added AI holopads around the station. To use as the AI: click on the pad to center view on it. Click again to activate the hologram. Move it with the directional keys. You can still interact with objects normally. To remove it, either move it too far out or click the pad again. Use robot talk to directly speak through the holopad (and only the holopad, unlike regular robot speak). Could be added on to (like different images for different AIs) but it's basically finished.
#Fixed a bugged message on changeling transformation sting. It will no longer give away your identity.
#Made law datum a silicon define. var/datum/ai_laws/laws.
#A few more ninja adjustments. Added a new view mode for the ninja mask, allowing to see special roles and a few other things.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1608 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
#Added a Halogen Counter function for engineering PDAs. Measures radiation of a mob.
#Brain/MMI code overhaul. Brains/MMIs should no longer screw up when the brain is deleted. MMIs should now properly eject from cyborgs if they are blown up, among other changes. Brains no longer die when transferred between containers but won't be able to speak without a container.
#Added a research MMI that comes with a radio built in. The brain can toggle the radio functions on or off via verb panel (MMI).
#Traitor code words will now use the crew roster for name generation 70% of the time.
#Ghostize() is now a lot more robust. If you need to throw someone into a ghost if they are killed/whatever, use it.
#Deleting a mob will now spawn a ghost for it through ghostize(), if it has a key, so you don't need to worry about that. You can null key people if you want to kick them out of the game.
#Ghost verbs are now in their own panel (Ghost). ghost() is the proc/verb that mobs get to turn into ghosts. ghostize() is now a proc only used through other procs.
#Changed how ninjas get their verbs. Long story short, wizards are now able to mind swap with ninjas. Stay hidden Snake! Also, more code improvements and additions to ninjas, including more fun for the AI.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1607 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
#A few specific religions will now spawn unique books (they all use the Bible sprite). Feel free to expand on this.
#AIs and cyborgs will now get the code phrases if they are a traitor. Rev heads will no-longer get them. Finally, rev heads will properly equip their items if admin-made.
#Added field generator code improvements by Aygar.
#Added a general turf proc to kill mobs/creatures in a tile, kill_creatures(). Might be useful in the future if more creatures are added.
#Added a general teleport proc, get_teleport_loc(). Supports only 4 directions of movement.
#More code improvements to ninjas. Admins will now only spawn player ghosts as ninjas. No more admin ninjas.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1577 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
Added a direction finding algorithm for target, get_dir_to(). Mostly useful for positioning sprites in relation to a target. Such as energy beams, lines, and so on.
Changes to ninjas. Fixed a bunch of bugs and finished content. It is now possible to drag people with you when phase jaunting/shifting. Jaunting/shifting should also kill livestock, huggers, and damage mechs.
Renamed /obj/spell path to obj/proc_holder/spell in order to have a generic proc_holder category. For now it only works for the AI but can be expanded to other mobs.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@1566 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
For an example, let's say the phrase is: culture, wine, admit. The response is: massive, tired, doctor's delight. A traitor may begin a conversation with something like: "A man of culture always drinks wine, I must admit. What do you think?" The response to that: "When I am massively tired, I drink doctor's delight. Otherwise, I abstain." The example is best referenced in the Bar, or any place where drinks are available. With enough creativity and linguistical acumen, it may be used elsewhere.
The point here is to make conversation seem as natural as possible while providing traitors a means to recognize each other. The words do no have to be exact, either. Quarter Master may be QM and the Captain may be Cap'n. Traitors should still recognize what is being communicated--or not.
#Deactivated AI cores are no longer mobs. This is mostly cosmetic. You cannot gib a deactivated AI since it will be an object, not a mob. It will also not announce arrivals since it's an object, not a mob (this is an improvement, in my opinion).
#Some code tweaks to AIs. They will now auto-start with a random name instead of their default-chosen name (which is still changeable).
#Intelicards should no longer constantly refresh the window when they are being wiped.
#Added new mech sprite.
#Resin walls should no longer delete the person inside when killed in certain ways. Hulks will easily break free from resin if placed inside.
#Ninjas can now download the AI onto spiderOS, provided Drain is on. SpiderOS works with AI cores, AI cards, and restoration terminals. Make sure Drain is on when you click on either the object (core/terminal) or the suit (aicard). AIs with law zero may get to have some fun, depending on circumstances.
#Toggle Drain renamed to Toggle Interaction. It now serves as general trigger for special ninja interactions.
#Added energy net power to ninjas. Prototype for HerpA and whatever he may want to do with it but it's pretty much finished. The energy net can be destroyed by the person trapped (or others) and will teleport them to the prison after 30 seconds.
#Ninjas can now slice cameras apart per request.
#Added a few more type checking procs (isliving, islarva, isobserver, ishivemainframe).
#Mobs that are anchored will no longer be able to move (AIs will still move as normal). You will also not be able to grab them.
#Incorporeal Move now works properly for regular mobs once more.
#Marauders from CentCom can now launch directly from their bay. Start the shuttle and wait on a mass driver. On that note, mechs can now go through portals and launch through mass drivers.

Players now cannot rejoin the game if their mobs were gibbed/burned while they were disconnected.
Cremating/gibbing for meat now counts as death with triggering log records, gamemode checks, sql reports, etc.
Fixed some bugs with enabling verb ghostize().
Fixed bug with DNA Machine popping out from the protolathe.
Fixed bug with tuning RSD.
Added juicer:
berry -> berry juice
banana -> banana juice
tomato -> tomato juice
carrot -> carrot juice
Bug your botanists for getting better potence for more juice.
Juicer can be pulled, chef can give it to barmen or botanists.
Blender changed a bit:
tomato -> ketchup
corn -> corn oil
soy beans -> soy milk
any food -> nutriments and contained reagents.
Sound for the juicer found at http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=98053, edited by Nikie.
You can eject ingredients from the microwave. However, you cannot get back your reagents, they will be lost and can make microwave dirty.
Essence of Banana was renamed to Banana Juice.
Added Carrot Juice. Heals eyes much slower than imidazoline.
Carrots now contain imidazoline (however, carrot cake contains more imidazoline).
Potency for peppers, tomatoes, carrots and druggy mushrooms should work now.
New cocktail "Bahama mama": 2 rum, 2 orangejuice, limejuice, ice.
Changed recipe for soy sauce: 4 soy milk + 1 acid.

Note for coders: in order to help with seaching of health-related bugs I have moved many procs from /mob/ under /mob/living/.
Also, done some clean up and rearranging.
Results:
-admin rejuvenating now works again;
-people screams if getting creamated while still alive;
-diseases actually loose your health;
-monkeys wearing masks receive protection from acids as humans did;
-and other minor fixes and improvements.
Bugfix for imbuing a talisman.
RD now spawns with only 2 pens instead of 3.
Audible emotions can be heard by people outside of locker/other container.

#Phase Shift will no-longer show up in the Ninja verb panel. You can right-click on turfs only to use it.
#Ninjas can now spawn a sword in their active hand. Besides killing dudes, it's also useful for slicing through doors, lockers, walls, and so on. It'll disappear if dropped or thrown, and it cannot be placed in containers.
#Ninja mask now works differently when mimicking voice. You start out as "Unknown" and when toggling the voice changer it will randomly change your name with some variations.
#If you switch the name back to "Unknown" you will re-active voice masking which is much less silly this time. The only way for someone to determine your true name is to remove the mask. Postmodern Space Bushido demands that you only reveal your identity in honorable combat!
#Slightly updated sprites for ninja suit and accessories. Or as I'd like to call them, the Tron suit. Probably wip until I get enough motivation to redo it from scratch.
#People that respawn as death commandos are now manually chosen by an admin.
#Death commandos use the new suit sprites.
#Added a global proc for animations. Currently only used by ninjas.
#Moved around suit icons so they are grouped better.

Assigned categories to assorted verbs that lacked them. Commands tab is now more or less gone. Instead, things are in "IC" for things like say, whisper, me, that are inherent to you, "OOC" for things like OOC chat, and "Objects" for verbs originating from the world around you. I suppose for those non-admins in the audience, you now also get an "Admin" tab, because I stuffed adminhelp and adminwho in there.
This change was only to verbs defined as verbs in the code, procs that are assigned to things as verbs are far more numerous and harder to isolate, but also mostly admin-related.

- More R&D stuff. Moved code from code/datums/technology to code/game/research (more apt and it isn't JUST datums now). Still very WIP.
- Circuit printer now requires Sulfuric Acid instead of H2SO4. (Yes, I get the irony)
- New helper proc: between(low, middle, high). It returns middle unless it is greater than high (in which case, it returns high) or less than low (in which case it returns low). It's a fairly simple proc but it cleans up some bits of code I am working on.
- Changeling chem regeneration is now a curve rather then a flat amount. At low amounts (<20) it's faster then in r917, at high amounts it's slower (>20). This means you can use cheap abilities more often and expensive abilities less.
- Changeling "Dart" abilities now named "sting" abilities to (Hopefully) cause less confusion. "Boost Dart Range" renamed "Ranged Sting."
- Changeling "Absorb DNA" ability now not only doesn't cost chem to use, it actually regenerates a small amount (if successful).
