Added CC-Nanotrasen, an IRC bot made by Skibiliano and given to us by him under CC-BY-SA 3.0 licensing
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? It means all servers running this SVN now have the option to use an easy to configure IRC bot capable of relaying adminhelps from ingame to the server/channel of their choice.
- Runs on python 2.6 scripts with psyco support
- Relaying can be toggled from config.txt (so you don't runtime with every adminhelp if you decide not to use it)
- Comes with a bunch of other useful and fun tools too
- Added a new global proc, send2irc(msg,msg2) YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT IT DOES CONSIDERING WHAT I JUST MENTIONED
----msg and msg2 are just what text gets relayed to irc, separated by a |, for instance send2irc(hello, world) would come out as
"CC_NanoTrasen: Hello | World
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2783 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
- atom.forceMove() proc. Ignores density and other Move() restrictions, but calls Exited() and Entered()
- var/emagged moved to /obj/machinery class
- anyprob() helper proc.
- Mecha internal damage vars encapsulated.
- Mech Fabricators now require robotics ID to operate. Emag removes this restriction.
- Added Odysseus Medical Exosuit and it's parts. Has integrated Medical Hud and ability to mount medical modules.
- Added Sleeper Medical module for medical exosuits. Similar to common sleepers, but no ability to inject reagents.
- Added Cable Layer module for exosuits. Load with cable (attack cable with it), activate, walk over dismantled floor.
- Added another exosuit internal damage type - short circuit. Short-circuited exosuits will drain powercell charge and power relay won't work.
- You should be able to send messages to exosuit operators using Exosuit Control Console
- Gygax armour and module capacity nerfed.
- Exosuit weapon recharge time raised.
- Bugfix: EMP actually drains exosuit cell and damages it

Instead, the spellbook simply starts with an extra use. This will save you the trouble of re-memorizing if you do not want to take ethereal jaunt.
Put an Ion Rifle on the nuke ops shuttle which will hopefully help with nuke teams getting routinely destroyed by sec borgs.
Fixed a wizard spawn message which referred to a no longer existing item (it mentioned "two" artifacts in your pockets, though you no longer spawn with a scrying gem)
Added Magus Helm sprites/object, which as of now does not spawn and is just an alternative wizard hat (counts for spell requirements).

Malf overhaul, take two!
Waaaay back in the old days, I made it so malf AIs had to hack APCs to win, instead of just sit AFK for 45 minutes. Now I'm taking some more drastic action, to see what happens.
THE MALF AI NO LONGER SPAWNS ON THE AI SAT.
Instead of sitting in the AI sat hoping nobody notices your blatantly obvious hacking, at which point the 3 people lucky enough to have looted EVA get to have all the fun, you can now shunt your core processes into an APC you have hacked, and hacked APCs are only moderately obvious.
While shunted into an APC, the AI draws power from that APC instead of the one in their main core. If the APC loses power, the AI loses power as normal. If the APC they are in is damaged or destroyed, they are forced back into their main core. If the main core is inoperative at that time, they die. The AI is also capable of willingly going back to their main core. As long as the AI's main core is intact, the AI speaks out of its core, regardless of its current location.
I have tested as much of this as I could to make sure it is functional, but thanks to the game mode overhaul, I have been unable to run actual malf rounds on my test server, so I have had to cheat and set things to work in any mode for testing. As for actual round balance, there's no real way to predict how that shit'll change.
This is just the base overhaul, more changes will be forthcoming as malf rounds provide data on how the change performs.

Before you read on this revision is more of a thing being tested than a feature that is guaranteed to stay.
4 escape pods have been added to the station, 2 at arrivals, 1 in engineering and one in security. Each pod is 4x3 tiles in size with a window tile, 2 chairs and a door. So it has 3 floor tiles to stand on.
Pods don't have any sort of emagging capabilities, hijacking a pod does not count as completing the escape alone objective, surviving in a pod however counts towards the escape alive objective. Cult members in pods do not count towards the acolyte victory.
Changelog updated with listed changes.

- alert level descriptions are now part of the config file config.txt
- alert levels default to the ones I had before, if the config file isn't configured.
- Restored a HTML vending machine interface, an updated one. (I have limited time so I'll commit this one too, it's part of the bundle i coded while offline today and I don't have time to separate it before discussing it. I'll revert it later if needed)
Vending machine demo:

feedback_inc(var_name, num)
feedback_dec(var_name, num)
feedback_set_details(var_name, text)
The values are saved to the database at the end of the round, if it ends properly.

They now function like landmines. They don't move, but you can pick them up and throw them at people.
Eggs now grow gradually and you can harvest a hugger from a grown egg.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2438 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
Changed the shotgun pump proc a bit, should work better now and not teleport old shells around.
Added a config option for the jobs to be loaded from the jobs.txt rather than use the defaults.
Loyalty implanter removed. The Limplanter was designed to be on the prison station as it took more time and was a pain to get people up there to implant them. No prison station, no Limplanter.
Implanter lockbox moved to the armory from the HoS' locker.
Security room's table once again shrunk so people can walk around in there.
Brig lockers are now anchored to the inside of the cells and once again have their IDs set.
Warden's locker moved to his office.
Cell controls Names/IDs/Access fixed as well as once again working with the brig lockers.
Removed a few of the blast doors from the inside of the brig.
The three secure cells have blast doors controlled from a button outside of the cell.
The play admin midis toggle should be working properly now.
Morgue trays will no longer teleport anything from anywhere.

- Nerfed EMP effect on mechs.
- Fixed build_path for atmospheric monitor circuitboard design
- Bugfixing and bugmaking.

Rewrote the job selection system to use bitflags and the jobs are now objects.
Fixed a path conflict with effect which caused a few things to be unable to be clicked on.
Commented out the job.txt, Urist if you still want it to load from the .txt give me a yell and I can update it to work with the job objects.
Fixed up the bits that were missing the slightly updated mob organ attack code.
Moved the traps file into unused.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2340 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
Moved into their own folder and got split into three files.
Damage zones have been regrouped slightly to make it easier to deal with them. Currently the organ groups are head, l/r leg, l/r arm, and head.
Attacking:
Armor is properly checked.
Currently aiming for the chest gives a higher chance to stun whereas the head will stun for longer.
Stungloves/Disarm now show up in the attack log.
Stungloves ignore intent.
Silicon:
AI units can now move between cams that are not on the ss13 network.
Cyborg's alert screen should not longer pop up every time they get an alert if they have opened it once during the round.
Robot vision now uses the standard amount of energy.
Gamemodes:
Added Deuryn's unrev message.
Runes can only be examined if you are close to them.
Moved the Loyalty implants to the HoS' locker at the request of HerpA.
Nuke agents now come with explosive implants that will activate upon death.
Projectiles:
Once again went though the gun code and cleaned things up, it is much better now.
Bullet_act fixed up and most mobs now use the one in living, just overload it if they need to do something diff.
Freeze /caplaser/xbow no longer have an infinite loop.
Shotguns have to be pumped manually.
Went though the latest runtime log.
Power cells now use return on their give/use procs
Assemblies have been reworked and are nearly finished, just need to finish up the special assembly code, redo the signalers, and add one or two new assembly items.
Laying down will now only take 3 ticks to get up, from 5.
You can no longer punch people on the spawn screen.
This is a big one and was cleared by two heads, TK will only allow you to pick up items. If you have an item in your hand it will act normal.
This revision got much larger than originally intended my tests show everything is working fine, but you never know. Ill likely do more mob teaks in the next few days.

Adding a reporting function, available in the debug menu, which tracks some crude statistics for the current round and attempts to estimate the round's current level of stuff happening (or lack thereof) for more consistent and focused badminnery.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2329 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
/obj/effects is now /obj/effect.
/obj/station_objects is now /obj/structure.
Did a bit of minor blob work.
The Bay 12 body bags were replaced with closets because having two sets of code that do almost the same thing is silly.
Changed back a few of the last jobproc edits as the remove from list before assign was a check to see if the mob was fucked up and if it was remove it so we did not check it again as it would still be fucked up.
The medbay/tox monkeys names are random once more. More random name monkeys will help with changeling and clean up the observe/mob menus.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2324 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
Two new categories were made: station_objects and effects. station_objects, which I'm sure someone will want renamed to 'structures' contains the objects which don't need process() or power code.
Effects contains objects which are either landmarks, triggers, spawners or decal.

I didn't notice any bugs, but with a revision editing 276 files of byond code, you never know.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2323 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
- You can now edit variables for clients. You however can't mass-edit them.
- Common variables are displayed on top of the view variables menu. Screenshot shows examples of mobs, objects and datums.
Screenthot: http://www.kamletos.si/view_var_lost_count1.PNG
- Fixed the problem where long type paths ruined everything forever in view vars.
Screenshot: http://www.kamletos.si/view_var_lost_count2.PNG
- Added an option to the spawn object/mob/turf screens which lets you pick whether you want the item to spawn under your mob or in the object you have marked. You can only spawn stuff in objects of type /atom.
Screenshot: http://www.kamletos.si/spawn_objects.PNG

It requires you to first select whether you want to delete all objects of the strict type or of the type and all subtypes. After this you need to confirm. And then you need to confirm again. If anyone manages to get through 3 confirmation screens 'by accident' they are lying.
You can only use 'delete all of type' for objects (of type /obj)
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2265 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
- Two new admin verbs. "toggle hear radio" and "toggle hear deadcast". These don't care if you're a ghost or what you had for breakfast, they work because they're tied to your client, not your mob. To non-admins it might seem silly that this is needed but when dealing with multiple adminhelps you don't want text to move at lightning speed, so anything that you can disable is good.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2259 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
- The following procs have been added: ismetroid() ispAI()
- Using the new click proc adds support for the following new procs: attack_robot(), attack_ghost(), attack_admin(), hanr_r(), hand_m()
Proc description:
- attack_robot() is the proc that gets called when a cyborg clicks on any atom without having a module selected. It defaults to attack_ai() and for the moment always calls the default as there is no separation.
- attack_ghost() is the proc that gets called when a ghost clicks on any atom. It defaults to examine()
- attack_admin() is the proc that gets called when a ghost with admin status clicks on any atom. It defaults to attack_ghost()
- hand_r() is the proc that gets called when a restrained cyborg clicks on any atom. It defaults to hand_a(), which is the the proc for a restrained AI, whatever that means.
- hand_m() is for when a restrained metroid clicks on an item.
Please note that the new click proc drops support for the HEAL mutation. Let me know if this mutation is important. All I can tell you is that it doesn't belong in this proc.
- Moved the mob/Delete() proc to mob.dm. Doubleclicking /mob in the object tree will now throw you to mob.dm instead of some random datumvars.dm.
git-svn-id: http://tgstation13.googlecode.com/svn/trunk@2256 316c924e-a436-60f5-8080-3fe189b3f50e
- Removed all effect of wizarditis. The disease still exists but has absolutely no effect on anything. And no, this is not a removal only from the game world, it's a removal, period. Admins don't have it either. As I said however, the disease exists so you might see wizarditis as a diagnosis on your medical scanner, it won't have any effect tho.

In addition "explosion", "em pulse", "gib", "make space ninja" and "give spell" now have confirmation boxes or the ability to cancel
Okay, so if there are any requests for verbs to be restored (keyboard-admins) please contact me and we'll arrange something.

- Marking objects now gives you feedback on the view variables screen. It also refreshes the screen.
- Warn, prison and unprison verbs removed. Prisoning can be done via player panel. (show player panel verb of the X in the 'player panel' verb. Damn these names, confusing.)
- Banning now has a cancel button on all input screens.

- Detective now has his stuff in an old-styled cabinet. (Sprite by Hempuli)
- Got rid of some.. uhh... Runtime errors... and... uhh... A certain dungeon master... I... I WAS ORDERED TO DO IT, YELL AT URIST AND CREED!
- I doubt you'll get this far in reading this changelog due to the previous point, but just in case you do... Admin tools updated:
- View variables now has a "Mark Object" option. After you've marked an object or datum, you will be able to assign the value to a variable. An example would be if you try to put an item into a closet. You'd open view variables on the item you want to move, select "mark object", open 'view variables' of the closet, click E or C next to contents and select "marked datum (type)". After this, you select 'No' for the reference question.
Screenshot: http://www.kamletos.si/references.jpg
- Also in View variables, you can now access a player's 'Player panel' if you view a mob's variables.
- Updated changelog with these changes
