Remains of player blob axed.
blob_act() axed. Blob now has an arbitary set of things it can attack.
It will flow over everything else. Blob has an awful tendency to destroy
non-craftables.
Will test more tomorrow.
Blob will now attack mechs.
Fixes#8106.
Fixes#10705.
Merges the two meteor events into one, and now takes severity into consideration instead.
Including the basic meteors there are also new types ranging from flaming to radioactive which may drop appropriate types of ore.
- Fixes#9543
- Removes ugly floodlight/proc/updateicon() and replaces it with proper floodlight/update_icon() which is standard on all objects/items. Does the same refactor for power cells and adjusts the proc call in relevant files (hence the amount of 1-line changes in various files)
- Makes floodlights properly use CELLRATE. Their load is 200 watts. Cell adjusted accordingly, it starts with 1k cell, which is enough for ~40 minutes (roughly)
- Floodlights with almost discharged cell (less than 10%) ocassionally "flicker", dimming for few seconds. This serves as indicator that the power cell is running low.
- Floodlight luminosity adjusted. They now shine slightly more, espicially closer to the floodlight.
Grilles no longer return more rods than they were created from when destroyed (by method other than wirecutters).
Rods are now acquired from and returned to a pool.
Also adds a pre-broken grille for mapping, avoids the case where one might be able to destroy the same grille twice.
General:
Bots are now /mob/living/bot. They support player control fully. Just in
case an admin feels like letting a ghost take control of beepsky or
something.
Since they are bots, spooders and whatnot will attack them.
They now don't need an open panel to be emagged.
Spawns replaced with do_after, meaning that they will stop
injecting/cleaning/repairing/arresting if pulled away.
Medbot:
Emagger is added to ignore list.
Will now inject spaceacilin regardeless of disease type and level.
Previously: only if disease was past stage 1 or airbone.
Cleanbot:
Patrolling rewritten. They now find a closest beacon, and go to the NEXT
beacon after the closest one.
They will not wiggle out when pulled.
They will now ignore (for a while) the gibs they make if odd button is
pressed.
They will now freely claim cleanables. Previously, they would not target
ones targeted by other bots.
Floorbot:
This was a helluva buggy one.
They will now build bridges (but still won't do random repairs) in space
area.
They will now build bridges even if the tile directly next to them in
that direction is tiled.
They will now ignore for a while a tile they can't reach. This is to
stop them from hopelessly targeting tiles under grilles for upgrades and
getting stuck.
They will now slowly (200 ticks for a tile) build new tiles on their
own.
They will now preserve tile's icon when repairing it like a player
would.
They will now place first rods, then tile when fixing space breaches.
Rod costs two tiles.
When emagged, they will first always tear off the tile, then will (over
triple the normal amount of time) breach the tile to space. There are
noticeable warnings for both actions.
Secbot:
Will no longer run away to patrol when panel is open.
Now deals stamina damage instead of instastuns.
Small delay between approaching the target and stunning them.
Laserbots axed.
Removed their weird EMP act.
Will no longer stun lying people, just cuff.
They will also demand surrenderring (lying down) before smacking you. If
target moves, or 5 seconds pass, it will attack.
Farmbot:
It's alive!
It has settings to: water trays, refill its own water, uproot weeds, add
nutriment (ammonia, internal synthesizer), collect produce, and remove
dead plants.
Removes can_fire() and moves some of it's functionality into
get_next_projectile(), which was renamed to consume_next_projectile() to
indicate the possibility of side-effects.
Also renamed flag var to check_armour
Rewrites gun.dm. Reorganizes the firing procedure into logical procs and cleans up some unnecessary variables or demotes them to the subtypes that actually care. Energy weapons that create their own projectiles no longer care about in_chamber. Launcher support is much more natural now.
Cleans up duplicated cyborg energy weapon power supply code. Adds support for energy weapons to recharge from external power sources, unifying cyborg and hardsuit mounted weapons. Incorporates the cyborg taser recharging mechanism. Cleans up laser tag gun duplication
Changes path strings to actual paths. Changes relative paths to absolute paths.
Renamed several targeting vars to make their purposes more clear.
Fixed targeting not handling firing correctly for certain subtypes.
* Refactors projectile Bump()
* Converts projectile_type var strings to paths
* Reorganizes bullet projectile paths
* Made a pass through all the bullet_act() definitions. Mainly ensured that damage_type is checked when dealing damage to certain objects. Removed stupid /turf bullet_act() override, replaced with on_hit() overrides on the relevant projectiles.
* Adds shotgun pellets projectile. Adds Raptor's shotgun slug sprite.
* Gives stunshots more of their own identity, refluffs them as taser cartridges for shotguns. They still aren't obtainable anywhere unless spawned.
* Makes projectiles pass through girders and cultgirders with a certain probability, unless the girder itself was clicked.
* Projectiles are also able to pass through grilles. Low damage projectiles have a chance to be blocked by grilles. High damage projectiles have a chance to have some damage absorbed by the grille.
* Makes projectiles for blanks invisible.
* Adds flash bullet types
* Adds support for 'penetrating' projectiles
* Swaps .45 and 9mm projectile types. .45s hit slightly harder, 9mils have more ammo capacity.
`maths.dm`:
Rewrite `Gcd(x)` to remove recursive behaviour.
Remove `RaiseToPower(x)` and its usage from `event_manager.dm`.
Rename `Lerp()` to `Interpolate()`.
Add `Square(x)`, which squares a number.
Rearrange most of the functions in the file. (trigonometric functions together, etc.)
`type2type.dm`:
Rewrite `num2hex()` and optimise `hex2num()` for superior clarity and a 100% speed improvement.
Correct indenting, spaces, make switches more concise.
`time.dm`:
Remove old, slanderous commented-out function `/proc/time_stamp()`
`lists.dm`:
Add the macros, `BITTEST(bitfield,index)`, `BITSET(...)`, `BITRESET(...)`
and `BITFLIP(...)` for bit-manipulation and use them where 20+ files
do it manually, for arguments of reader clarity and standardness.
This should have little/no gameplay effect right now, just paving the
way for directional lights.
Replaced handle_rotation() on buckly things with this.
