SmArtKarandnevimer 4f8b9f2418 Makes tendrils less out for blood, cleans up The Thing's code (#96332)
## About The Pull Request

I didn't realize that default aggro range for mobs is 9, so tendrils
would try to attack you with their whips and spikes despite you being
completely out of their range, which looks pretty funny.
I've fixed this by separating out aggro ***grab*** range and aggro
sustain ranges, lowering latter to 5 for tendrils, and adding checks for
target distance for both abilities it has. The Thing also had a similar
behavior but used rather jank code for that (which I don't think even
worked), so I've modified it to use the new system as well.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Stationary mobs probably shouldn't try to attack mobs completely out of
their reach

SmArtKarandGitHub 5fb3112981 Reworks bileworms into artillery-like enemies (#96159)
## About The Pull Request

Bileworms now attack by firing a barrage of arcing projectiles at their
target, one guaranteed to hit their turf and the rest spread around
them. Bileworms fire 5 shots and vileworms fire 7 at a faster rate.
The projectiles themselves deal 20/25 burn damage and scale with MELEE
armor (as ACID is mostly for atom armor and not mob) on mobs and ACID on
objects.

Bileworms now have a short jump animation before they burrow, during
which they can be stunned by getting shot or hit (only damaging
projectiles count, so you need to melee with your crusher if you want to
stop a burrow). Doing so prevents them from attacking for 2.4 seconds,
after which they burrow back underground without an animation (as to
avoid chainstunning)
They will not burrow immediatelly after firing, now only repositioning
if their target is 3 or less tiles away from them or if they have been
hit by an attack. Their health has been increased to 110/175 to
compensate for them now being able to be stunned, as those are above
important breakpoints for damage, making them require 1 more swing after
backstab/1 more shot to kill respectively.

When attacking NODE drones bileworms will have 30% less spread, making
them a priority target to take out during vent defense, but not as
dangerous as brimdemons or legions.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Bileworms are not fun to fight for both PKA and PKC users, there is no
counterplay to their burrowing, and they are not engaging during vent
defense. This should address all of these issues, and make them more fun
to fight.

SmArtKarandGitHub 119c1e9ccc Adds a priority targeting framework, and priority targeting to mining mobs (#95720)
## About The Pull Request

Introduces a new targeting priority strategy system for basicmob AIs,
which allows controllers to decide which mob to prioritize over others.

Mining mobs will now focus on the NODE drone unless hit, and will pursue
the attacker for 25 seconds before dropping the aggro. They also get
increased aggro if you've attacked other mobs in their view recently,
and after a few hits will have enough aggro to swap to you from the NODE
drone. Ashwalkers get a reduction in aggro because they live there.
Legion broods and brimdemons will immediately target anyone who attacks
their allies rather than waiting for multiple hits. Broods also now
inherit their parent's targets and retaliation/reinforcements lists.

7763db34a1 Basic beepskies and some ED209 additions (#95783)
## About The Pull Request
this PR refactors beepskies and ED209s into basic mobs. ive also added a
few features for the ed209 because i cant keep my hands to myself:

ED bots can now wear hats! a few hats give them some new unique
dialogue. Putting a cowboy's hat on an ED will have it acting like a
town Sherrif

EDs are now rideable when emagged. theyll still be shooting people while
ridden. youll also have the ability to charge at people full throttle
running them over

ive also added a new Nukie variant, purchasable from the uplink. These
versions come fitted with an LMG and will patrol the station and shoot
all walks of life. If emagged, theyll blow up people with (weaker)
rockets (im still working on balancing this). they are rideable but i
highly suggest against it; youll be caught in the crossfire. (i
understand if ud prefer i atomize this feature)

## Why It's Good For The Game

san7890andGitHub 8f73588d9a Blood Drunk Miner Basic Boss Refactor - "Similar Enough" Edition (#94728)
## About The Pull Request

I thought megafauna were hard to refactor into simple mobs, and they
kinda are, but also enough work has been done on them through various
refactors (e.g. mob abilities) that it's not _too_ bad, but I didn't
really relish working on it.

Regardless, it's refactored! A few more of the ol' simple mobs flushed
down the toilet, with a bunch more features to make porting over more
`megafauna` to the basic mob's `boss` framework even simpler. There's
some weird patterns that are introduced in here to better fit the old
system's parity, but I don't really mind having done that since it's
more important to get stuff out of the simple mob framework and into
something a bit easier to work with and extend.

Here are all of the changes I can recall having made:

* A lot of the documentation regarding the blood drunk miner did not
actually meet reality. The current refactor reflects what the code was
actually doing, not what was documented.
* The code regarding using the saw's `melee attack chain` stuff wasn't
changed. Sorry but I can't even start to unravel that, I just overrode
the whole attack thing because it's not really incorporable from what I
was finding.
* Basic mobs operate differently than simple mobs, thus this mob will be
"harder" for a shorter amount of time as people are not used to the
current timings/pathfinding behavior/cooldowns/etc. of the modern blood
drunk miner. The overall difficulty didn't feel too different to me in
my playtesting, but changes can certainly be made if someone can tell me
which variable to fix.
* Basic Bosses now appear in the orbit menu as mob POIs, parity with
megafauna
* Basic Bosses can now use the boss music component.
## Why It's Good For The Game

Cleans up the code by incorporating it into a modern framework that
already accounts for a lot of the stuff that was taken for granted 8-9
years ago when this was first implemented, and tries to keep any
possible number the same in doing so. Should be much easier to add new
graphics or overhaul the boss's AI to transform it into something even
more interesting should someone choose to do so.

Let me know if I fucked up with signals/ai behavior patterns/etc.
somewhere as it's been a while since I touched this stuff and I had to
clean out a lot of cobwebs in my brain to get to this implementation.
## Changelog
🆑
balance: Miners Beware: Blood Drunk Miners have been refactored into
basic mobs. This means their timings and such may be a bit more
unpredictable than what you're used to. The difficulty should be about
the same, but do approach with caution lest you get devoured...

Hopefully more people can pitch in with refactoring megafauna now... not
too bad anymore after I fixed some of the jank...

JacquerelandGitHub 7a994fffba Pathfinder Module no longer pathfinds (#94261)
## About The Pull Request

![dreamseeker_9pYVx5xTE0](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/86695b34-deb1-4307-83c8-ecd81b1b6b28)

Removes the "pathfinding through the halls" function of the MODsuit
pathfinder module in favour of having it "fly" to your location in the
same manner as cargo pods (by getting inside an invisible cargo pod).

If it's inside a locked crate or locker when this happens it will break
the door on the way out, so be careful where you leave it.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Mostly because nobody uses the pathfinder module.
Pathfinding through the corridors is _cool_ on a conceptual level but
it's not very practical, _especially_ because it means that it has a
good chance of not functioning at all if you are on a station with Z
levels.
This method means that it will always arrive in the same amount of time
(quite fast, but not fast enough that it will arrive before someone can
shoot you) regardless of where you are when you suddenly realise that
you need spaceproofing rather than drip.

Also Fikou asked me to do it.

CirrialandGitHub 31d4eb04f1 Fix Stoat Steal Behaviour (and some other AI stuff hopefully) (#94153)
## About The Pull Request

Two main things.

Multiple instances of use of a proc in AI controllers seemingly assuming
the default behaviour will work for them, but what ends up happening is
`search_tactic` gets redefined and redefined with no defaut search range
parameter, so nothing ends up passed to the `search_tactic` child procs,
so they all call `oview` with `null` and this... somehow doesn't
runtime? Has behaviour that works some of the time??? I hate this
fucking language. Anyway.

Stoat steal items behaviour was completely broken and apparently was not
tested once since it was merged in. I've made the corrections I can, but
I haven't figured out why stoat AI never enters idle, so we have a
behaviour that leads to the stoat running up to an item, grabbing it,
and then just staying there, unmoving. I've sunk too many hours into
this, I'm just going to call it fixed and let someone else figure out
what exciting additions there need to be to a behaviour that was never
functional in the first place.

## Why It's Good For The Game

i don't know man i just want the pain to stop

okay, generally speaking, when people write AI behaviours, they want
those AI behaviours to do something and not just silently fail for six
months or longer

MrMelbertandGitHub c080b83c41 Monkey eating glowup (#93759)
## About The Pull Request

1. Monkeys will only seek out food to eat if they are actually hungry,
rather than on an arbitrary cooldown.
2. Monkeys will no longer teleport-yoink food out of your hands.
Instead, they may get angry at you for stealing their food, and fight
you over it. The hungrier the monkey, the more likely they are to fight.
3. Monkeys will discard trash and empty glasses (on the floor) after
eating or drinking them.
4. Monkeys can target soup to eat
5. PunPun will no longer seek out drinks if they are hungry.
6. PunPun will now, if the bartender is absent and there are multiple
patrons around, attempt to find filled glasses or food to hand out to
patrons.
7. Several places that sought edible items no longer include drinking
glasses as edible items

src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/8b3a6ac1-ae2c-41a0-919f-b471ad93bb0f"
/>

## Why It's Good For The Game

PunPun shouldn't be yoinking glasses out of patron's hands - their
intended behavior is to serve drinks not steal them

Otherwise, monkey eating was a bit jank due to it being some of our
oldest ai code. I largely just brought it up to more modern ai
standards.

4756a44141 MODSuit procs now pass who clicked the UI button + misc code cleanup (#92424)
## About The Pull Request

Most of these changes are centered around removing `mod.wearer`
references in module function bubble alerts. However, I cleaned up a few
other things that I thought were easy fixes. ~~This PR should be
testmerged~~ nah send it. I think I did a pretty good job testing, but
there might be a bug or two I missed. (debug modsuit should allow
conflicting modules and have unlimited complexity btw)

### Track who clicks the activate button
* Adds `mob/activator` to `on_select()`, `activate()`, `deactivate()`,
`used()`, `on_activation()`, `on_deactivation()` and `on_use()`
* `mod_ui` now passes `ui.user`, which is who actually clicked the
button in the UI.1
* module action proc now passes the person clicking.
* **Alert bubbles:** Modifies many module code bubbles to pass the
activation bubble text to `mob/activator` instead of `mob.wearer` so
that pAIs get feedback on why clicking the button isn't working.

### Cargo clamp
* **Clamp code cleanup:** The cargo clamp now has a variable for the max
creature weight it can support, and the logic is changed around a bit to
support this.
* The cargo clamp uses an `accepted_items` typecache.

### Code cleanup
* **Button malfunction chance** is controlled by a
`MOD_MALFUNCTION_PROB` define.
* **Pathfinder runtime:** `mod_control`'s `GetAccess()` now checks if
there is an access before returning it. (This previously caused runtimes
when using the pathfinder module if you didn't swipe your ID)
* **Pathfinder code tweaks:** Reworks the code for the pathfinder module
a bit. Activation logic is now stored in the module instead of the
implant. The suit is prevented from being recalled by pAIs, which is
controlled by a variable.
* Adds `MODULE_ALLOW_UNWORN`, which lets you activate modules in suits
that aren't currently being worn. Module activation code now smoothly
supports modules being activated while not worn.
* Chameleon module now works when unworn.

This will probably be a Part 1, with a Part 2 to follow. Actions are
kinda funky and could probably be cleaned up a little better. Plus, I
want to make selectable modules theoretically usable by the AI, even if
I leave it disabled.

## Why It's Good For The Game

This PR doesn't contain any balance changes, and I manually disabled any
new serious functionality that pAIs might gain. (Such as being able to
activate the pathfinder implant) They *can* use the chameleon module
with no wearer- but I'm going to consider this a bug that they couldn't
before.

Paves the way for more pAI modsuit nonsense I'm doing downsteam.

JacquerelandGitHub 52ed369990 Improve Ice Whelp behaviour (#90771)
## About The Pull Request

Fixes #90767
This PR redesigns ice whelps somewhat

As before they have two fire breath attacks, one of which is a line and
one of which is a point blank AOE
Unlike before, the aspect of forecasting that the attack is coming is
now part of the ability and not a component only used by ice whelps (I
didn't like the component) and comes with visuals

![dreamseeker_O8hjbivgT0](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/21f78e1b-727b-438a-b013-a6f9d8c210f8)

Also unlike before, the line breath is longer and comes out faster
(because it's frankly pretty trivial to avoid) and the point blank
effect has been upgraded to effect every tile in a circular area within
3 spaces of the drake

The drake will now use the "every nearby tile" attack if you are close
by when its abilities come off cooldown, and the longer ranged one if
you're not

## Why It's Good For The Game

This fixes Ice Drakes using their breath attack literally once and never
again and might make them slightly more interesting to fight
Their slow speed and inaccurate targeting I think still means that
they're not very threatening on their own, but that'd need a more
substantial redesign to fix

JacquerelandGitHub 809eab4258 Replace basic mob attack telegraph with slower reaction times (#90585)
## About The Pull Request

This PR removes the `basic_mob_attack_telegraph` component from all mobs
which were using it and instead implements an attack delay directly into
the basic melee AI behaviour.
This delay simulates "moving your mouse into position", human reaction
times, and the fact that the previous implentation of simple mobs would
only try to melee attack on a predictable timer you could "juke" around.

The way that this delay works is that it starts as soon as the mob
enters melee range and resets if you are ever out of the mob's reach, so
there will be no delay if you are foolish enough (or unfortunately
preventing from doing otherwise) to continue standing next to a mob but
there is enough of a one to duck in and out of melee range with a
goliath while using a crusher without getting hit, although trying to
run past one usually won't work.

This delay defaults to 0.3 seconds which in my testing experience was
roughly enough to dip in and out of range without getting hit but not
enough to run all the way past a mob without getting hit. It can be
overriden via the blackboard, although currently no mob does this.
I _was_ testing this locally with no latency though so I guess we'll
listen out to see if miners start yelling.

## Why It's Good For The Game

The visible attack broadcast is very cool but its visibility made melee
combat with any mob that had it significantly easier to such a degree
that any mob with it on could not really be expected to do melee damage
to any character that wasn't suffering some kind of immobilisation
effect which was never really the intention.

Removing it also removes any additional handicap that was applied to
sapient versions of these mobs, which was never really necessary or
intended in the first place.

I did not remove the component entirely from the game for two reasons:
- Out of the hope that there is some use for it somewhere, because I
think it's cool, but more importantly:
- Because it's still being used by simple mob megafauna as a workaround
for a bug we couldn't figure out.

## Changelog

JacquerelandGitHub f1d3994c95 Apply AI Controller Admin Verb (#89375)
## About The Pull Request

Melbert asked me to make this and I thought it'd be relatively easy and
plausibly useful so I did.

This PR adds a feature to the VV menu for mobs which allows you to apply
and configure an AI controller from a list of templates.
It's not as versatile as coding one would be, but it should be able to
accomodate a lot of generic scenarios.

Some examples of basic stuff you can set it up to do:
- Give Ian a machine gun he will fire at nearby people while staying
within a specified min/max range.
- Have Poly fire brimstone beams on cooldown at whoever is nearby
(although she won't bother trying to line up cardinally).
- Assign a gorilla to be someone's personal bodyguard which will follow
them around and attack anyone who hurts them.

I have also made an executive decision to remove the restriction that
basic ai controllers can only be placed on basic mobs.
We've removed _most_ non-basic simple mobs from the game, and also have
more recently updated most AI behaviours to work agnostically of whether
they are assigned to a basic mob or not... which means that they'll
largely work on carbons.

Coincidentally, this feature makes sure to ask if you want an AI
controller to remain active on a mob which already has a client.
Assigning an active AI controller to a live player which forces their
character to automatically attempt to run away from whoever the last
person to attack them was is ~~not recommended behaviour because it's
largely untested~~ highly recommended behaviour because I think it's
very funny (makes it very hard to play though).

I'm gonna do another PR some time which cleans up `random_speech` so
it's configurable and then let you slap that on whoever as well.

940e2d31cf tgstation is back online and you are a horrible goose (#89204)
## About The Pull Request

Converts geese to basic mobs.
Nobody else did this one because two separate other developers have said
they started and then examining what the goose does made them feel
mildly ill, but I am stronger.

I will admit though I wasn't 100% committed to making it work exactly
the same way, I rewrote the entire system to use interfaces I like more
(read: I put all this shit in a status effect which means any mob can be
given the ability to vomit out everything in its contents) and if that
means the behaviour is only "inspired by" that didn't bother me that
much.

**Geese:**
- Wander randomly around.
- Peck people who attack them.
- Occasionally start pecking other nearby animals for absolutely no
reason.
- Eat any food they randomly wander within one tile of, but don't seek
it out further than that.
- Eat anything made of plastic that they randomly wander within one tile
of.
- Choke to death over 30 seconds if they eat anything made of plastic.
- Vomit out whatever it was that they choked on when they die.
- Honk (this is new).

The more famous subtype of goose is Birdboat. Birdboat is a unique goose
present on several maps with some additional behaviour.

**Birdboat:**
- Is chill and doesn't start pecking people for no reason.
- Is occasionally possessed by ghosts.
- Builds up an internal vomit-meter as he eats things. Moving around and
just sort of generally hanging will start rolling dice to find out when
Birdboat's tummy gets upset.
- May start vomiting instead of choking to death on plastic, thereby
saving his own life.
- Vomits out everything that he just ate while running around, making a
mess of the floor.
- Starts eating everything he just vomited out again.

Unlike regular geese who just eat your food and it's gone, Birdboat's
miraculous digestion preserves all of the food he eats so if he consumes
the entire kitchen counter it will eventually come back out again the
way it went in. Although you might not want to eat it any more.

The precise way in which this manifests may be slightly different, but
largely this is also what these animals did before.

Other stuff:

I noticed a bunch of find/set behaviours were not setting a search
range? I think that means they were never finding anything?
I did not actually test any of them to see if they were broken, but it's
possible that a bunch of broken AI behaviours like "climbing trees" may
now actually start triggering because they have a search radius greater
than an orange of 0.

I added "keep this in contents instead of deleting it" as a parameter
for generic eating and slapped it on the goldgrub, as it is used in two
places and may end up being used in more.

## Why It's Good For The Game

This kills off the last user of the `retaliate` subtype and makes our
list so so much closer to finish.
It's like... a couple of bots, a handful of oddballs (I'll probably
handle these soon), and then just the mining bosses and minibosses to
go.

If you give a human the vomit goose ability (now that I made it work on
any mob) they will eject all their organs and body parts via the mouth
until they die, if you don't do the brain or heart first you can vomit
your own head off.

## Changelog

92a585cb3a new icebox ruin: outpost 31 + megafauna (technically???) (#88714)
## About The Pull Request
<details>
<summary> expand to spoil the fun of exploring something for yourself
</summary>

firstly, the new ruin: outpost 31
its layout is vaguely based off an official map of the Outpost 31 from
the Thing movie but i ran out of space halfway

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/6db1aa9f-40d3-4693-897b-01e32b3ee1d2)

the boss drops a keycard for the storage room that you cant get in
otherwise, containing its own special item, and other stuff probably
useful for crew
crusher loot: trophy that heals you on each hit

the ruin is guarded by like 3 flesh blobs, very resilient (and slow)
masses of flesh that deal 3 brute damage, not harmful in melee but WILL
attempt to grab and devour/assimilate you which is FAR more lethal

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/542cc6d0-f4ee-4598-9677-a03170c6c1c3

Boss: The Thing (with creative liberties otherwise this thing would
instakill you if it was true to source material)
difficulty: medium apparently idk mining jesus beat it with 400ms or so
HP: 1800
It is a much higher ranking changeling than those infiltrating SS13
It has 3 phases, 600hp each. Depleting its phase health will turn it
invincible and it will heal back half in 10 seconds. In order to prevent
this, the two Molecular Accelerators must be overloaded by interacting
with them to blast the changeling with deadly scifi magic or whatever
they do, forcing it to shed its form further and go to the next phase.
Not necessary for phase 3 because it literally just dies then

it focuses mostly on meleeing you and making certain tiles impassable
for you with 1hp tendrils, all attacks are telegraphed so theres no dumb
instakills here

it alternates between aoe abilities and abilities

melee behavior:
- if too far, charge at target (charges twice on phase 3)
- too close, shriek (unavailable in phase 1) (technically AOE but its
more like a melee ability you know??)
- otherwise just try to melee

Shriek: if the player is too close emit a confusing shriek that makes
them confused and drop items

aoe behavior (phase 2, 3 only):
1: Puts 4 tendrils in a line cardinally
2: Puts tendrils around itself
3. Puts a patch of tendrils around and under the target, 3x3 in phase 3
4. Phase 3 only - spits patches of acid into the air that hurt when
stepped on

_(crusher is hard ok)_

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/cbb98209-d3f0-470d-b0e8-4e310c5b709c

unique megafauna loot for this boss is like 1 AI-Uplink brain
its like a BORIS module but for humans i think you can figure out what
that means
while in a human shell they cannot roll non-malf midrounds and cannot be
converted, and cannot be mindswapped
the human MUST have all robotic organs (minus tongue because its not in
the exosuit fab and that kinda sucks to get)
will undeploy if polymorphed

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/abcc277a-995a-4fa7-b980-0549b6b7cf52

</details>

## Why It's Good For The Game

icebox is severely lacking in actual good ruins (fuck that one fountain
ruin)
i feel that the loot given by megafauna has been and still apparently is
exclusively to make the victor more powerful, which kinda sucks because
thats just powergaming???? the loot of this boss is more crewsided,
specifically aiding the AI in a VERY limited quantity (1), so its not
anything good for powergamers, good for crew if the AI is not rogue

## Changelog
🆑
add: outpost 31, the icebox ruin. Also its associated mobs, and
megafauna, and loot. Im not spoiling anything, find it yourself.

4b512f1239 makes mimics into basicmobs (#88910)
## About The Pull Request

mimics are basicmobs now
the only change not carried over worth mentioning is that all mimics are
a consistent speed because i cant imagine a gun or object with aimbot
going at you mach 2 would be very fun

mimic crates had some stuff changed compared to their simple animal
variant
they open and close their lid when attacking (unless locked) to be like
menacing or something like animals flash colors to ward off people
attempting to open a nonsentient hostile crate mimic will make it lock
itself (if it contains anything) and attack you

mimics are a really stupid naming for these because like
mimic crates pretend to be crates
anything else inheriting from mimics are just used to make objects alive

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/34a733a4-45a3-409e-8a6a-b2a8c7540898

people for some reason i think thats ok though unless its a wand of
fireball)

Ben10OmintrixandGitHub 7d9386bdce Turtles (#87493)
## About The Pull Request
adds turtles to the game! but these aren't your typical turtles.

![turtlestates](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b9d35a32-5f04-4255-bbac-d1ed57b2abb1)

these are flora-turtles, with giant trees growing on their shells. These
trees can emit fields which affects nearby hydroponic plants. Initially,
the trees start out as young buds, from there the tree can evolve into
different types depending on what you feed the turtle.

Feeding them pesticides causes the tree to blossom to be purple. this
tree's fields will help kill some pests and weeds in nearby plants.

Feeding them nutrients gives you the green tree, the fields will heal
nearby plants

Feeding them mutators like uranium or left 4 zed gives you the yellow
tree. the fields increase instability of plants

The turtle will emit these fields every once in a while, ONLY when its
feeling happy. therefore you'll have to pet it, clean it and feed it
every once in a while to keep it satisfied. You can view the turtle's
happiness by shift clicking it.

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/a47136a1-06a1-419e-acc2-2f6f4468e296

The turtle only eats seeds. after eating a seed, itll process it and
spit out its corresponding fruit! (for example, feeding it an apple seed
gives you an apple). itll also sometimes playfully headbutt your legs
and it loves going around smelling the scent from nearby plants

you can get these turtles by fishing the hydroponics tray or by ordering
them through cargo.

## Why It's Good For The Game
adds a new fun way for botanists to take care of their plants. While
these turtles alone arent enough to fully replace plant dedicated
nutrients, they add small extra support.

## About The Pull Request
adds repairbots to the game!

![repairbot](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/8c492c7c-6c12-4095-89f6-cc97ae1edbc0)

this pr serves as a massive rework and buff to floorbots. i was a bit
sad that they dont get built much anymore so ive given them tons of more
utilities and uses.
Repairbots still inherit to place tiles and repair breaches. but they
can now rebuild walls, rebuild windows and repair structure and
machinery. Also Ive given them voicelines to add more character to them.
In short, they are very depressed with their job (however they express
their happy go lucky attitude when u emag them where they will start
deconstructing the station)

to demonstrate capabilities, here's a slightly sped up clip of some
repairbots patching up an area that was maxcapped 4 times:

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/bddac3b0-1984-4571-85d3-c5283dd7c0de

When repairbots feel threatened, they will retract into their little
toolbox which u can pick up and hold in ur hand, either to conveniently
carry and plop them down at breached sites, or to bash skull with it

U can build them using a toolbox, proximity sensor, cyborg arm and a

008876823c Adds two new BR maps, basic mobs, BR tweaks & fixes (#85292)
## About The Pull Request
Title. Adds two new maps:
- Grasslands Hunt (peaceful)
- Meta Central (easy)

These maps add a new basic revolutionary mob and significantly upgrades

This fixes an issue where modular maps were not correctly spawning mobs
or adding them to the "mutable candidates" for antagonists.
There's also some balance changes to bitrunning vendor prices, which are
generally now lower. This change is unrelated to the PR as a whole so
I'm okay with removing it if there's concern

JacquerelandGitHub 828d807464 Canonise passive carp (#85939)
## About The Pull Request

The other day someone posted a story on the tgstation forums about being
spawned as a sentient "passive carp" from slime gold cores and then
biting someone to death which mildly annoyed me because "passive carp"
is a mob which exists purely for a shuttle event, to make them less
dangerous when passing through the area.

And _also_ because once sapient the passive carp was, of course, not
passive at all. If it was a passive carp they wouldn't have had to
appeal a note, because they wouldn't have been able to bite that guy.

There were two solutions for this.
The obvious one is "remove this mob from the gold slime core pool".
The one I chose instead was "give this mob more divergent behaviour".

Now instead of "passive carp" it is called a "false carp", which is a
carp-like creature that is incapable of harming humans (it has the
pacifist trait and does no damage).
It is spawned from the _friendly_ gold core reaction instead of the
hostile one.
It will be chill until someone attacks it or it sees someone attack
another false carp, then all of them will run away from that person.

Additionally I fixed a bug where its teeth reappeared in some animation
states.
And another bug where crab AI just didn't work.

## Why It's Good For The Game

If you see a mob called "passive carp" it should do what it says in the
name.

## Changelog

🆑
balance: Pacifist carp can now be spawned from the friendly gold core
reaction, and no longer appear from the hostile one.
fix: The teeth of toothless carp will not occasionally reappear

things smaller than them, as intended.

GhomandGitHub 2535df375d Carps, frogs and young lobstrosities now fear the fishing hat! (#85380)
## About The Pull Request
Carps, frogs and young lobstrosities now fear legendary anglers wearing
the legendary fishing hat and will flee. The item is skill-locked, so
only those that have maxxed out the skill can wear it.

Differently, adult lobstrosities and megacarps (and suicide frogs, which
are used nowhere) do not flee but will still prioritize them over the
rest.

## Why It's Good For The Game
I'm putting some emphasis on the "fish fear me" _(lobstrosities and
frogs aren't exactly fish but it'd been quite boring to only include
carps)_ and also making the hat a bit more than just some cosmetic
novelty.

## Changelog

GhomandGitHub c91c50f937 You can now raise lobstrosities from chasms chrabs. (#84969)
## About The Pull Request

Lobstrosities can now be raised from aquarium icemoon/lavaland chrabs.
First of all, you've to get a live chrab, an aquarium, and some fish
feed. Second, you place the chrab inside the aquarium and turn the
'allow breeding' settting on (should probably rename it to a more apt
name now). Keep the chrab well fed, and possibly with some friends and
props in the same aquarium until it develops into a hopefully calm
juveline lobstrosity and plops out of the aquarium (it can take some
time). From there you can tame it by feeding it its favorite food: arms
and lavaloop fish, and wait another dozen minutes for it to mature into
a fully grown lobstrosity.

Juveline lobstrosities are basically smaller and weaker lobstrosities,
if not slightly faster in some ways. Unlike their taller counterparts,
they can be tamed. Once done so, they'll retain their tamedness once
grown up. Regardless, tamed lobstrosities can be given the pet command
to fish for things by pointing at them. Thanks BenMatrix for the
profound fisher component, woo.

The chrab's weigth and size influence the growth speed of the first
stage faster, meaning bigger chrabs (may require crossbreeding) will
turn into juveline lobstrosities quickly. Amongst other things
influencing the resulting mob are fish traits:
Several traits have been given effects that apply to the mob, such as
nocturnal regeneration, being venomous or being able to fly akin space
carps. Also a new one that prevents the resulting lobstrosity from fully
developing

Now tested.

## Why It's Good For The Game
I'm building upon fishing and aquarium stuff, which has been an interest
of mine in a good while, though most of it doesn't have that many
practical uses, I'm slowly trying to make it cooler, and chasm chrabs
growing into lobstrosities is pretty much in line with the fluff texts
for the fish.

Eventually I'll have to add tips inside fishing toolboxes, otherwise
people won't know even half of it.

## Changelog

🆑
add: You can raise lobstrosities from chasm chrabs inside an aquarium
with the 'allow breeding' setting on. Keep the fish well fed, healthy
and not lonely if you don't want an hostile one.
add: Juveline lobstrosities (from chasms, plasma rivers, or aquariums,
xenobio too) can be tamed with arms and lavaloop fishes.
add: For lobstrosities grown from aquariums, they can have additional
effects based on the fish traits they had in the aquarium, like being
venomous or even flying.

documents. Or you can share them with your friends.

## Why It's Good For The Game
This ruin is a multi-room dungeon with multiple solutions to each room.
It has plenty of action from mobs, traps and hazards. Each room has some
form of treasure or unique item in it. There's a boss at the end with
great rewards for fighting it, including a cool gun (slightly worse
variant of laser carbine).

This ruin is also a whiteship dock and space base. The public area is
entirely safe: stick to the well lit sector and don't trespass in the
employees only areas and you won't be harmed. There is a variety of
vendors to resupply at (including a brand new Donk Co snack vendor) but
unlike most other space ruins you do have to pay. A whiteship can dock
at this ruin if you have one, so you can bring groups of people to party
or attack the dungeon together.

## About The Pull Request
this refactors vibebots and reworks them to be a little more useful.
vibebots can now play a range of MIDI songs. they will seek out
depressed players and play an upbeat tune for them and celebrate with
them to cheer them up and increase their mood a little bit. if its ur
birthday, it will play a happy birthday tune for u. emagged vibebots are
ruthless, they will look for sad people and go play grim music for them
to ruin their day even more and decrease their moods.

## Why It's Good For The Game
refactors vibebots into basic bots and gives them a bit more character

## Changelog
🆑
refactor: vibebots are not basic bots
add: vibebots will now seek out the depressed and cheer them up

JacquerelandGitHub 3093328757 Minebots will no longer attempt to stop you from committing suicide by killing you (#83919)
## About The Pull Request

The `/datum/pet_command/protect_owner` behaviour did not have any
validation for if the person who attacked you was yourself.
The three mobs which used this behaviour would sometimes be capable of
seeing you accidentally slap yourself with a burrito and decide that
this meant that you needed to be protected from this hideous and violent
aggressor (yourself), and would then start trying to kill you.

If you had multiple minebots they would then start attacking each other
in a fit of jealous and protective rage, which I think was quite funny
but isn't supposed to be how the game works.

Ben10OmintrixandGitHub 9b0649c752 mothroaches in the wardrobe (#83695)
## About The Pull Request
there is a very small chance vendrobes will have mothroaches inside.
this will become apparent as the clothes you buy will come out slightly
damaged and eaten. hitting the vendrobe with a weapon (or throwing the
weapon at it) will cause the mothroaches to come out and scatter
everywhere. mothroaches will now also seek out clothes to eat them

## Why It's Good For The Game
gives more character and depth to mothroach AI

Ben10OmintrixandGitHub 55c41fb9ad basic honkbots (#81920)
## About The Pull Request
this refactors honkbots into basic mobs. its mostly a faithful 1:1
refactor but i couldnt keep my hands to myselves so i gave them some new
behaviors.

honkbots now love playing with clowns, they will go seek out for clowns
and celebrate around them. also, if the honkbot finds a banana peel or a
slippery item near it, it will actively drag people onto them

honkbots will now go out of theirway to mess with secbots and annoy them

## Why It's Good For The Game
refactors hinkbots into basic bots and also undoes some of the silliness
i did in the previous basic bot prs. i also added lazylist support to
remove_thing_from_list.

## Changelog
🆑
refactor: honkbots are now basic mobs, please report any bugs

Ben10OmintrixandGitHub 90cc66953e adds a new fish to lava and plasma rivers (#83146)
## About The Pull Request
this pr adds a new fish to lavaland and icebox, the lavaloop! i noticed
neither has any exclusive fish so im trying to add one of my own. u can
find this fish by using reinforced rods on lava or plasmarivers. this
fish is also lobstrosity's favorite delicacy as you will now often see
AI controlled lobstrosities fishing for it in lava and then eating it.

![fished](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/03cd4095-940d-4cc0-8d1e-2064cae1921d)

because of its body's curvature and razor sharp spikes, this fish can
also be used as a make-shift boomerang weapon against mining mobs,
although it comes with some new mechanics. u can increase the damage it
does to mobs by winding up ur throw. when the bar reaches purple, this
indicates maximum damage. however, if it goes over the purple, it will
react violently and explode your arm off, so you have to time it just
right to get the best damage possible. On icebox, instead of dealing raw
damage, fish will freeze mobs depending on how long you charged ur
throw. charging it for too long will cause the fish to freeze you
instead

https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/c8ac3696-3705-45b0-bc43-c5b81d75cb1b

while its nowhere near as effective as using PKA's or crushers, it can
be a useful tool for hermits and ashwalkers.
## Why It's Good For The Game
having lobstrosities fish and hunt for it makes lavaland feel more like
an ecosystem with a food chain. also i think tossing fish at eldritch
horrors is a funny way to fight them

does nothing. raptors will now play with their owners and tease them if
they are nearby

761b14ef7c lavaland raptors (#82537)
## About The Pull Request
adds raptors to lavaland. these are creatures that have been created
through countless xenobiological experiments by nanotrasen to breed an
animal that can withstand the harsh conditions of lavaland and aid
miners. theres now a new ranch miners can access bottom right to the
mining base

![ranch](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/20d9e358-15a5-48e2-aee3-9364ca139e43)
this ranch starts somewhat empty as most raptors have escaped
containment and are now scattered all across lavaland, u can find them
and return them to ur ranch.

in order to tame a raptor, u first need to prove to it that ur a capable
master. when u try to ride it, a little minigame prompt will pop up

![minigame](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/dcc13102-7100-40c8-ae7a-089cd4daf868)
in this game, the bird's icon rapidly changes direction and u have to
quickly click the arrow thats OPPOSITE to the direction its facing
several times before the direction changes. if you fail 3 times itll
knock you off and run away, however if u win it will deem u a suitable
master and listen to your orders.

There's many different breeds of raptors you can find across lavaland,
all with different capabilities:
red raptors: these excel at combat and can be very useful for dealing
with lavaland mobs or defending the node drone
yellow raptors: are very speedy mounts, theyll get u from point A to
point B in record time
green raptors: they are the tankiest type of raptor and are very good
miners. while mounted, they will clear any rock walls in their path
purple raptors: can store items in them. they have a decent storage size
allowing players to carry more items across trips
white raptors: are able to heal other injured raptors. having one in ur
party would be very useful as they can nurse the combat raptors back to
full health when they need it
blue raptors: produce very nutritious milk with healing capabilities.
having 1 or 2 of these back at ur ranch would be very useful
black raptors: by far the rarest breed, its very unlikely that ull be
able to get one of these, but in the case u do, they have the combat
capabilities of the red raptor, speed of the yellow raptor, and
tankiness of the green raptor.

Breeding different colored raptors together can net u an entirely new
colored raptor. each breed has atleast 1 guaranteed combination of
parents that it will result out of.

you will also need to maintain a good friendship bond with ur raptors,
this is done by feeding them, grooming them, and petting them. u can see
the strength of ur bond by SHIFT clicking them. more hearts indicate a
stronger bond

![hearts](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/5662c5a7-2df3-4f98-99f4-a11faa17b569)
having higher friendship bonds means ur raptors will perform better in
combat, and in the case of blue raptors, they will produce more milk.
Maintaining friendship bonds with baby raptors and keeping them happy
will also encourage them to grow faster

U can also analyze raptors using the new raptor-dex device available at
ur ranch

![pokedex](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/138636438/82b92c0c-b7db-4a0d-997e-384a69c0ecbe)
the inherit modifiers indicate how strong this raptor's offspring will
be. raptors inherit attack and health stats from both their parents,
breeding raptors with higher inherit modifiers means the offspring will
be stronger.

raptors will also inherit some traits from their parents that will
change how they will act around u and around other raptors, some of them
being:
Playful: raptors will play with their masters and tease them
motherly: raptors will care for baby raptors, this will encourage baby
raptors to grow quicker
depressed: means its hard to keep this raptor happy and friendship bonds
will deteriorate faster if not given enough care.
coward: makes them flee combat if severly injured, ditching u to the
wolves
trouble maker: makes them attack other raptors at the ranch. however,
trouble maker raptors will not attack other trouble maker raptors,
instead they will form posses and bully raptors together. it might be a
good idea to isolate them from the other raptors

raptors primarily consume ores. to feed raptors, you need to place ore
into the food troughs at the ranch. they are too civilized to eat ores
off the ground or directly from ur hand, they will only eat it if its in
their trough
