125fdaa56c Fixes an issue with eyes not properly storing the old_eye_color var (#77692)
## About The Pull Request

Somewhere down the line with all the refactors the code that saved the
previous eyes' color stopped working.

This just fixes it. It's used for things such as qol for the high
luminosity eyes. It can be considered a fix and QoL alike but I'm going
to label it as QoL.

1be27a4ffe Dunking handle_atom_del() in the trash bin. (#77339)
Whatever you do, if it warrants the use of something like
`handle_atom_del`, chances are `Exited` can do it better, as most of
these cases involve movables that shouldn't be moved out of their loc
(`Destroy` forcefully moves movables to nullspace) without calling
specific procs, and for the remaining few, `handle_atom_del` doesn't
even cover the eventuality of a movable being deleted outside the source
atom, so it's quite garbage.

Beside, I feel confident in saying `handle_atom_del()` is older than the
DCS, an echo on the workarounds done at the time.

0dbd9eebdb Fixes runtimes with arm implants in general and the Vorpal Scythe in particular (#77595)
## About The Pull Request

Two batches of runtimes, somewhat related:

1. Being dismembered while holding an extended arm implant would
runtime, because Retract() no longer has an owner to reference when
moving the deployed item back into the implant. This, on top of
runtiming, would make the item in question be permanently stuck (and
usable) on your missing limb. (Described, along a similar but seemingly
unrelated issue with the godhand, in #76899)

Solution: Sanity check for an owner, forcemove the item into the implant
if we don't have one.

2. Spamming sheathe and unsheathe on a vorpal blade seems to
occasionally cause it to retract while it isn't in your hand.
Additionally, being self-dismembered by unsheathing an unsated vorpal
blade would trigger runtime number 1 with a vengeance, as it calls
Retract() twice in the same block.

Solution: Sanity check to make sure we do have a scythe in hand before
continuing and some other changes and minor re-structuring to more
cleanly handle losing the limb.
## Why It's Good For The Game

The less runtimes, the better.
The less people running around with scythes and energy guns super-glued
to the stump of their arm, the better.
## Changelog

92f55c74ef Removes Liver Damage From Spider Toxins, Reduces Injection Amount for Tangle Spider (#77550)
## About The Pull Request

This PR adds a new value to toxins called liver_damage_multiplier. As
you might have guessed, this value modifies how much liver damage
processing the toxin will do, and it is default at 1. Spider toxins now
have this value set to 0, as having their toxins murdering livers isn't
an intentional part of their gameplay loop.

Tangle spiders also now inject half the amount of acid they used to. It
was actually really strong compared to the other toxin types and wasn't
intentional according to Seth.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Liver damage is very strong when it comes to spiders, but it isn't
considered at all in their balancing. Removing it makes the actual toxin
damage the threat and not the liver damage.

Tangle Spider isn't supposed to have high toxin damage, but because of
it injecting acid, it did more damage than the other spider types and
was requested to be have the injection amount reduced by Seth.

## Changelog

balance: Hunter and viper spider toxins no longer deal liver damage.

c6ad5eb9a3 Dismemberment moodlets are alleviated when recovering your limbs. (#77581)
## About The Pull Request

What it says on the tin.
When reattaching a limb, the respective dismemberment debuff will be
replaced by a significantly less severe one (-3 for 2
minutes as opposed to -10 for 8 minutes)
However, the way I've done it, to that ensure replacing a leg when
you're missing 4 limbs doesn't clear the moodbuff, has the entertaining
side effect of **allowing dismemberment moodlets to stack for each limb
you've lost, and being cleared separately.**
I honestly kind of like it. Their description changes in accordance to
what limb it is as well.
## Why It's Good For The Game

It doesn't make much sense for your character to continue lamenting the
loss of their arm/leg after they've already acquired a replacement.
I also like that this makes losing multiple limbs worse than losing just
one, as someone who's been nugget-ed would have a far worse day than
someone who has simply lost an arm.

Closes #77388.
## Changelog

71fe46511a Held items are now dropped when their associated arm is dismembered (#77613)
## About The Pull Request

What it says on the tin. The parent of
`obj/item/bodypart/arm/drop_limb()` would remove the arm from the
owner's hand_bodyparts list, which would then prevent the child proc
from dropping the item held in the now missing hand.

Now we call the parent afterwards and it works just fine.
## Why It's Good For The Game

Addresses the issue with the GodHand described in #76899, although it's
not limited to items you can't ordinarily drop. It's a bit more
noticeable with them, because there's no risk of dropping the item in
shock if the limb is being hit with a weapon, but you can verify using
amputation shears that any ordinary item would also stay stuck on the
arm.

43428545b2 Adds a unit test for client colours. (#77484)
## About The Pull Request
I'm adding a unit test for the sanity of client colours, ancient datums

## Why It's Good For The Game
Ever since that aforementioned years old refactor, there have always
been a few issues with client colours.
The most annoying one being the monochromacy client color lingering even

2e122f6207 removes dextrous_hud_type and healable var (#77244)
## About The Pull Request

I was working on some basic mob stuff and noticed this is a little
messy, so I made these changes separately.
I removed ``dextrous_hud_type`` because ``hud_type`` exists and can just
be used instead.
I also removed the ``healable`` var, because it was incorrectly used
(with the expectation that basic mobs had it too). Instead it will rely
on the mob being Organic, the check right under it, and I gave mob
biotypes to mobs that were not healable and had no biotype already.
I made a new biotype for slimes because I didn't find any other ones
that fit it (and gave it to slimepeople), but it is not used anywhere
other than to prevent them from healing from sutures, as I didn't want
to just set it to NONE. Thought this may be useful for the future.

## Why It's Good For The Game

``healable`` is checked on simple animals and basic mobs, despite basic
mobs not having this var. I do not want to add this var to basic mobs
either, I think checking for them being organic makes much more sense
and avoids having to make basic mobs less basic.

Nothing player-facing.

6c34d93be7 Nukies Update 7: Hats (Also massive uplink standardization, weapon kits and ammo changes) (#77330)
## About The Pull Request

Massively overhauls and standardizes the nuclear operative uplink.

### Weapon Kits

Essentially, all the main weapons of the uplink have been changed to
instead come as 'weapon kits', which are essentially cases containing a
weapon loadout to enable operatives to easily start operating on only
just one item purchase, without the fuss of worrying whether or not
operatives are getting spare ammo, or getting relevant equipment for
success. Consider this a pseudo-loadout, though without necessarily
restricting the purchasing of more weapon kits.

All kits come in three categories: Low Cost (8 TC), Medium Cost (14 TC)
and High Cost (18 TC). This is also matched by categorized ammo costs;
Basic Ammo (2 TC), Hollow Point and Armour Penetrating (4 TC),
Incendiary (3 TC) and Special (or anything that does not easily fit
these categories and does something real extra) (5 TC). Weapons that
lacked these ammos have gained these ammo types to fill the gaps.

<details>
There is may one exception to this in disruptor ammo, which is priced as
basic ammo if only because it isn't _quite_ good enough to justify
pricing at 5 tc and I can see an op wanting to use it as a basic ammo
type instead of normal .50 BMG against, say, a silicon/mech heavy
opposition. Since it cannot kill organics on its own, I'll consider this
mostly basic-adjacent
</details>
The kits have also been labelled based on potential difficulty. This
reflects possible difficulties in using the item, how conducive it is to
success for how much game knowledge needed to actually use it, and how
likely an op is to succeed using it. I don't expect ops to win using
nothing but a rocket launcher, but I think ops should get a fair shake
at trying, yeah?

The kits are as below:
#### **Low-Cost**
_Bulldog (Moderate):_ Shotgun and three magazines of standard ammo.
_Ansem (Easy/Spare):_ Pistol and three spare magazines of standard ammo.
#### **Medium Cost**
_C-20r (Easy):_ SMG and three spare magazines of standard ammo.
_Energy Sword and Shield (Very Hard):_ Energy sword and shield. (Also a
special hat)
_Revolver (Moderate):_ Revolver and three speedloaders of standard ammo.
_Rocket Launcher (Hard):_ Rocket launcher with three spare rockets.
#### **High Cost**
_L6 SAW (Moderate):_ LMG, and that's it. No spare ammo.
_M-90gl (Hard):_ Rifle, two spare magazines of standard ammo and a box
of rubber grenades.
_Sniper (Hard):_ Sniper rifle, two spare magazine of standard ammo, and
one magazine of disruptor ammo. Also suit and tie.
_CQC (Very Hard):_ Comes with a stealth implant and a bandana.
_Double-Energy Sword (Very Hard):_ Double-energy sword, syndicate soap,
antislip module, meth injector and a prisoner jumpsuit.
_**NEW** Grenadier's Kit (Hard):_ Grenadier's belt and grenade launcher
(the one that launchers chem grenades). (I replaced the shit acid
grenade with another flashbang in the belt)

Surplus SMG (Flukie difficulty) has been unchanged. It just now comes
with two rations.

Includes two new revolver ammo types: Phasic, which goes through walls
and armor, but has significantly less damage as a result (I've equalized
the revolver damage and the rifle version's damage to 30 for both). And
Heartseeker, which has homing bullets. Both are Special ammo, and are
priced at 5 TC a speedloader.

### Other Gear

The other items in the uplink have also been consolidated and
standardized in various ways.

#### Grenades

Most now cost 15 TC for three grenades of any given type (including the
full fungal tuberculous). This is pretty much identical to the previous
price, just more consistent overall and front-loaded in cost.

#### Reinforcements

All the various reinforcements now cost 35 TC and all refundable,
equalizing cost to the average across the reinforcements. This is
primarily because I feel like all these options should be weighed
equally, and not one of these options are necessarily worse or better
than the other in their current balance. They're largely inaccessible
for normal ops regardless, and typically come out when there is a
discount or war ops. I took the average value and went with it. Not much
more to say.

#### Mechs

They're just cheaper. These things still suck and they need help.
They've always needed help. A slightly less excessive value for the
mechs may help see people willing to spend the TC on them. I doubt it. I
seriously suggest not buying these still. I keep them in primarily
because they are big stompy mechs and are kind of iconic 'war ops' gear.

#### Bundles

Since I've implemented weapon kits, gun bundles are rather redundant. So
the bulldog weapon and ammo bundle, the c20-r weapon and ammo bundle and
technically the sniper bundle were removed. The sniper bundle is now the
weapon kit, obviously.

Nothing else here really. Except for one....

#### Implants

Not much changed here. I standardized the implant prices to 8 TC a pop.
This is in accordance with traitor implants, which ops also get. So
everything in this category bar a few exceptions (like macro/microbombs)
are around 8 TC. Makes sense to me, really.

Importantly, I made the Implant bundle 25 TC, and I unrandomized the
contents. Who in the right fucking mind would spend 40 TC just to get
five reviver implants is beyond me. But instead, you get one of each of
the cybernetic implants except thermal eyes (you can just buy thermals
and get the benefit of both vision types; x-ray and thermal vision, if
you want to use smokescreens a lot).

#### Base Keys

They're all now 15 TC, except the fridge which is 5 TC. It's weird
they're valued differently when they are taken mostly to do gimmicks
like xenobio and toxins in a hurry before hitting the station. So we've
standardized it.

## Hat Crate

**YES, GOOD SIR, YOU TOO CAN ORDER A HAT CRATE FROM THE SYNDICATE STORE

## Why It's Good For The Game

The uplink needed more spring cleaning and standardization.

With this, I've partially implemented my older idea for ammo consistency
and initial allowance for nukies. Ammo is kind of over-priced and often
where a good chunk of TC goes towards without really pushing nukies
towards meaningful success. And it is often what is tripping up new
players who didn't think to get any. Now, when they get a gun, they get
ammo in their case. On top of this, the weapon kit category is both at
the top of the uplink AND has a little label to say 'Recommend', so that
these new players will hopefully know they should be looking there
first.

In addition, it is the gateway towards a concept that is currently being
worked on. Nuclear operatives having some degree of predefined loadouts
for players to select if they aren't sure what they want, or don't know
what to get. Nukies is very confusing for many players. So giving them a
fighting chance with some premade setups can help ease them into the
role without needing too much player knowledge in how to apply the
items. This is only one step towards that, so that players can identify
what gear they need to help succeed based on their skill.

I wanted to implement a difficulty warning so that players can choose
gear loadouts that are actually conducive to their skill and knowledge.
I based it on how much players would need to know to engage in combat
with it, and how much fiddling is required to get something to work
properly (overly involved reloading is a consideration, for example, as
well as precise button presses). In addition, how much of a force
multiplier some weapons can be for their ease of use.

Most people recognize the c20-r as the most new player friendly weapon,
as an example. So it would be good to steer players towards taking that
gun because of how easy it is to use, understand and succeed with it.

And most importantly of all; Having standards within the uplink is
important. Most of the values in the uplink are just completely random.
Nobody has a good grasp of what is too much or too little. Even just a
hint of consistency, and people will stick to it (see implants for what
I mean). And there is still some work to be done even there. A good
start is weapons. Price for power can be meaningful when decided whether
we want some weapons to come out more often than others. Players do
enjoy making informed decisions and choices, and having affordability be
a draw to some otherwise less powerful weapons (looking at you, Bulldog)
can actually be a worthwhile and meaningful difference.

~~I thought it would tick off the gun nerds to change the calibers on
the guns.~~

~~I also thought adding hats would be funny given the release of TF2's
most recent update.~~

95ec0e6545 Dissection experiments are handled by autopsy surgery. Removes redundant dissection surgery. You can repeat an autopsy on someone who has come back to life. (#77386)
## About The Pull Request

TRAIT_DISSECTED has had the surgical speed boost moved over to
TRAIT_SURGICALLY_ANALYZED.

TRAIT_DISSECTED now tracks if we can do an autopsy on the same body
again, and blocks further autopsies if it is on the mob. A mob that
comes back to life loses TRAIT_DISSECTED. This allows for mobs to be
autopsied once again.

Since it is completely redundant now (and was the whole time TBH),
dissections have been removed in favour of just having the experiment
track autopsies.

Fixes https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/issues/76775

## Why It's Good For The Game

Today I showed up to a round where someone autopsied all the bodies in
the morgue, not realizing they were using the wrong surgery. Since I
couldn't _redo_ the surgery, this rendered all these bodies useless.
This was not out of maliciousness, they just didn't know better. There
are two autopsies in the surgery list, but only one is valid for the
experiment and doing the wrong one blocks _both surgeries_. Dissection
is completely useless outside of experiments. This same issue also
prevents additional autopsies on the same person, even if they had come
back to life and died again after you had done the initial autopsy.
Surely you would want to do more than one autopsy, right? That's two
separate deaths!

This resolves that by giving you a method of redoing any screwups on the
same corpse if necessary. It only matters if the experiment is available
anyway, so there isn't much reason to punish players unduly just because
they weren't aware science hadn't hit a button on their side (especially
since it isn't communicated to the coroner in any way to begin with). It
also removes a completely useless surgery and ties in the experiment to
what the coroner is already going to be doing. They can dissect their
corpses to their hearts content without worrying about retribution from
science for doing so.

In addition, someone repeatedly dying can continue to have autopsies
done on them over the course of the round. The surgery bonus only
applies once, so the only reason to do autopsies after the first is to
discover what might have killed someone. No reason this should block
further surgeries, just block surgeries when the person remains a
corpse.

## Changelog

qol: Autopsies have become the surgery needed to complete the dissection
experiments. As a result, the dissection surgery has been removed as it

## About The Pull Request
Adjusts the placement of basic and upgraded cybernetic ears in the

Ears, which make it slightly easier to hear whispers from a tile away,
at the cost of higher vulnerability to flashbangs and other loud noises;

cybernetic organs, and the luminiscent and welding shield eyes have also
been moved there from the cybernetic implants node for consistency
reasons.

The whisper ears allow you to clearly hear whispers from up to seven
tiles away, the same range where you can hear normal speech. The
wall-penetrating ears allow you to hear normal speech within seven tiles
even through walls. Due to technical limitations, runechat popups do not
show up for people you can't see, but the messages will still show up in
chat.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Currently, upgraded cybernetic ears are very underwhelming compared to
other high-tier cybernetic organs. All other high tier organs provide
some sort of benefit; even if the benefit is minor like a built-in
flashlight, a slightly higher tolerance to alcohol and toxins, or higher
tolerance to disgusting food. This change is intended to grant similarly
minor but useful benefits to the cybernetic ears.
## Changelog
🆑
add: Added whisper-sensitive cybernetic ears, which make it much easier
for the user to hear whispers at the cost of being more vulnerable to
loud noises

speech through walls

69827604c4 Improves the RPG loot wizard event. (#77218)
## About The Pull Request
As the title says. Adds a bunch more stat changes to various different
items and a somewhat simple way of modifying them whilst minimizing
side-effects as much as possible.
Added a new negative curse of polymorph suffix that can randomly
polymorph you once you pick up the item.
Curse of hunger items won't start on items that are not on a turf.
Curse of polymorph will only activate when equipped.

Bodyparts, two-handed melees, bags, guns and grenades, to name a few,
have a bunch of type-specific stat changes depending on their quality.

Some items won't gain fantasy suffixes during the RPG loot event, like
stacks, chairs and paper, to make gamifying the stats a bit harder.
I'm sure there'll still be other ways to game the event, but it's not
that big of a deal since these are the easiest ways to game it.
High level items also have a cool unusual effect aura

## Why It's Good For The Game
Makes the RPG item event cooler. Right now, it's a bit lame since
everything only gains force value and wound bonus on attack. This makes
the statistic increases more type-based and make it interesting to use

It's okay for some items to be powerful since this is a wizard event and
a very impactful one too. By making the curse of hunger items not spawn
on people, it'll also make it a less painful event too.

## Changelog
🆑
add: Expanded the RPG loot wizard event by giving various different
items their own statistic boost.

Something that was pissing me off was that tails weren't inheriting the
color when they were removed from a carbon. I actually did a bit of
chicanery in cat surgeon code so I wouldn't be so pissed off about it,
but I think now is the time to fix it for real.
## Why It's Good For The Game

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/34697715/53b1fb5a-3487-4649-866a-f5d83736d951)

Much better. I also got rid of one of my pet peeves since I decided to
do this in `on_remove()` (nothing should break as a consequence, though

e3d68c0236 Robotic organ and disease improvements (#76766)
## About The Pull Request

In the code description for the `ORGAN_ROBOTIC` flag, it says that
robotic organs are not supposed to decay or regenerate health. I went
and fixed this and added some more "robotic" behavior.

New changes for robotic organs:
- No longer heal damage passively
- No longer gain health from revival
- No longer heal in the smart organ fridge
- No longer heal from pluoxium
- Robotic ears no longer heal from ear healing items (earmuffs, etc.)
- Robotic eyes are immune to changeling blind stings
- Robotic eyes no longer heal from occuline

New changes for diseases:
- Some diseases now require an organ to work. A robotic organ will give
immunity to the disease symptom unless the disease has "Inorganic
Biology".
- The transmission methods for diseases require organs to work but
robotic organs are immune. (except inorganic biology) Airborne disease
transmission require lungs. Ingested (drunk or eaten) disease
transmission requires a stomach. Blood (inject or patch) disease
transmission requires a heart.
- Organs removed from a mob that is afflicted with a disease will be
infectious while handling or transplanting it. (again, robotic organs
are immune unless inorganic biology is present) Certain admin spawned or
special diseases are exempt from this transmission method.
- A stomach is required for nebula nausea, gastritium, carpellosis,
metabolic boost, vomit, weight loss, death sandwich poisoning,
- Lungs are required for choking, asphyxiation, cough, cold9, oxygen
restoration, sneezing, flu, cold, spanish flu, tuberculosis
- A liver is required for tissue hydration, plasma fixation, parasitic
infection
- Ears are required for deafness, sensory restoration
- A heart is required for toxolysis, heart failure
- Eyes are required for sensory restoration, hyphema
- A tongue is required for voice change, parrot possession, pierrot
throat
- Wizarditis no longer requires a head (wtf?) to function

## Why It's Good For The Game

Robotic organs should behave as intended. Not naturally healing (like
organic organs) was supposed to be their downside to counteract their
their ability to not decay upon death.

6184c4d2ed Fixes ethereals' hair. Separates fixed hair color from the 'fixed_mut_color' var (#76930)
The series of "species nuking" prs made it so that the `fixed_mut_color`
also applies to hair. The problem with that is you may not want that in
some cases. It also introduced a bug where that var prevents ethereals'
hair from changing colors when they die.

So I have moved hair out of the things that gets `FIXED_MUT_COLOR` trait
applied to it in favor of its own thing.

`FIXED_HAIR_COLOR` trait is now used for ethereals to get a fixed hair
color.

Ethereals' hair should go out now when they die again, and it comes back on when they are revived.

c658cbc0a7 Changes the damage reduction for robotic limbs to be multiplicative instead of additive. (#76817)
Robotic limbs currently use additive damage reduction to reduce the
damage received, which allows for damage to be completely negated if the
damage applied is low enough.
As you can imagine, this can create silly situations where androids are
completely immune to anything that applies a low and consistent amount
of damage.

Complete damage reduction feels very unfair if you're an antagonist
For example, there was a blob round on Manuel where an android was
completely able to negate 100% of the damage from a blob and their
blobbernauts because they were on a strain that dealt low amounts of
damage. They were able to singlehandedly kill the blob and the blob was
unable to do much about it.

Considering that borgs and silicons still take damage to the strain that
the android did not take any damage to, this also fixes a consistency
problem.

ccf547c142 Adds an extra malf AI ability: Remote emagging. Also tidies up emag code and coverts a lot of things to balloon alerts (#76669)
## About The Pull Request

New malf AI upgrade

Remote safety overrides: Mid-cost, Mid-supply. Allows the AI to remotely
emag things it can see and can access.
1. Very useful for psychological warfare (Emagging APCs to throw the
crew off their trail)
2. Logically makes sense - why, of all things, can the AI not emag
anything when it's fundumentally integrated with the station's
electronics?
3. Generally speaking can only access things that make sense for it to
access - it cannot emag ethereals, sadly

In order for this to work, emag_act now returns a boolean, designating
if the emag had any effect.
While I was in there, I also added args to every single emag_act I could
find and added far more feedback/converted a lot of things to balloon
alerts to allow the AI to see if its emag had any effect.
## Why It's Good For The Game

It just makes sense that the AI, the most electronically-sensitive
entity in the game, would be able to emag things. Plus, more options
given to malf that aren't strictly MURDER KILL MURDER are always a plus,
especially if they allow for fancier plays.

5ed6407462 Ethereal Pirates (Re-pr) (#76554)
Other pr had some weird check failure, making a new pr to see if it

## About The Pull Request
After he ended up finishing his pirate pr before I could, SethLafuente
graciously offered to let me roll my in-progress pirate pr into his
overall pirate expansion project.

This pr essentially adds a new faction of pirates, along with a new
subspecies of Ethereals a-la silverscales.

- The Lustrous:

A unique subspecies of Ethereal, with years of exposure to bluespace
dust mutating them into crystalline abominations sporting a new pointy
head, pressure resistance, and a permanent bluespace prophet brain
trauma. They're still as fragile as ever, but far more capable of
getting in and out of sticky situations.

- Geode Pirates:

A hollowed out asteroid manned by three Lustrous, equipped with
switchblades, traitor PKAs, jump boots, two teleporting turrets, and an
upgradable bluespace launchpad.

However, they lack proper armor and ship defenses, forcing them to adopt
a coordinated hit-and-run playstyle.

## Why It's Good For The Game

When I started working on this project, I wanted to implement this
faction to cover for the loss of psykers and as a means of creating a
"rock-paper-scissors" system to how standard pirate playstyles would
work; with default pirates being offensive, Silverscales defensive, and
Lustrous mobile.

With Seth's pr, things are a little different now, but I still believe a
glass cannon mobility-focused pirate faction would be a welcome addition
to the pirate roster.

4c99fb2ebb Coroner additions and tweaks (#76534)
## About The Pull Request

Serrated bone shovels can be created with any kind of shovel now, not
just a spade (???)

Serrated bone shovels can be used in place of circular saw in most
surgeries.

Added a duller (still deadly) variant of the serrated bone shovel as
coroner mail.

Autopsy scanners now act as advanced health analyzers on dead and
seemingly-dead people.

Increased the force, throwforce, and wound bonus of inert ritual knives
and scythes.

Coroner gloves can quickly apply medicine like nitrile gloves.
## Why It's Good For The Game

> Serrated bone shovels can be created with any kind of shovel now, not
just a spade (???)

Weird ass bug.

> Serrated bone shovels can be used in place of circular saw in most
surgeries.

It's serrated, it's cool, it's rare, it has a fast toolspeed.

> Added a duller (still deadly) variant of the serrated bone shovel as
coroner mail.

Very thematic for the coroner, should probably also be a heirloom item
but whatevs. Weaker so there's still a reason to seek out the OG.

> Autopsy scanners now act as advanced health analyzers on dead and
seemingly-dead people.

Scanning corpses is pretty important during surgery - it tells you how
much blood they have, organ damage, diseases... these things don't
appear in the surgical computer readout, which means the coroner has to
go out of his cave to pick up a boring light blue meatbag wound scanner.
This also incentivizes coroners to do their job by giving them something
cool that only works on dead bodies.

> Increased the force, throwforce, and wound bonus of inert ritual
knives and scythes.

These two options in the MortiDrobe are pretty frickin' badass,
especially with how SICK the Coroner looks with them, double especially
in combat.

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/53100513/98c6f8a5-3e5a-41a9-8a9c-cb6b82ecc0b8)

However, there's the large issue that as actual weapons they're really,
really weak. Not enough damage, when I use them in combat I both feel
badass but also get a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that I'm
intentionally gimping myself, and with only 10 damage I can *really*
feel it. I find it unfair that these are objectively worse than a
welding tool or even a Butcher's Cleaver when they're a lot more
involved to find, and scarce besides. These arguments apply equally to
the Wizard's ritual knife, and the scythe.

Additionally on the scythe, the crew really needs more good ghetto
weaponry that isn't the boring same ol' of baseball bats, spears,
cleavers... and making scythes useful is a great way to help bridge that
gap. They deal a satisfying amount of damage now, with the clear
downside, of course, being that they're bulky and hard to lug around.

> Coroner gloves can quickly apply medicine like nitrile gloves.

'Fast medicine' doesn't just cover sutures, it also covers medical gel.
Specifically, sterilizer gel. I find it annoying that the Coroner is
encouraged to give up his drip for the boring life-saver nitrile gloves,
because the difference in applying time really does make a difference -
it makes gel applying go from annoying to smooth, which is important
considering the whole purpose of sterilizer gel is to make surgeries go
faster. The Coroner has surgery and thus medical locker access to begin
with, so this isn't a balance problem, (and nitrile gloves are found by
the dozen anyways) especially with how rare the coroner gloves are.

## About The Pull Request

Heavily reworks and resprites first aid analyzers. They now display if

First aid analyzers are now found in all basic and specialized medkits.
Toxin medkits get a new* disease analyzer. Miners get a miner-colored

Scanning yourself with a first aid analyzer will 'create a holo-image

treatment of scanned wounds!

Health analyzers now have a scanning sound, courtesy of CM.

Refactored some wound code to make treatment duration changes and
changes in the description of wounds easier.

Fixed a dummy parent feature of the health analyzer (Verbose mode)
showing up, uselessly, on the disease and first aid subtypes.

Surgical processors and slime scanners have recieved a similar resprite.
## Why It's Good For The Game

> Heavily reworks and resprites first aid analyzers. They now display if
they're happy, sad, angry, or warning you! Also a 'pricking' animation.

These things have long, long needed some sprite love. Displaying emotion
will make them have a lot more 'weight' to them, same with the prick.
The old, shitty spectrometer sprites have gone directly into the
dumpster.

> First aid analyzers are now found in all basic and specialized

miner-colored one in their box.

They have also needed some gameplay love! Placing them in these kits is
not going to be a massive game-changer when they were already easily
found around the station in emergency medkits, but it will fill up that
awkward empty slot.

> Scanning yourself with a first aid analyzer will 'create a holo-image
with treatment instructions next to your wounds', doubling the speed of
treatment of scanned wounds!

The biggest gameplay-impacting change in this PR, I *sincerely* believe
this is the perfect solution to first aid analyzers being completely
redundant with eyesight. This lets you/someone else scan your wounds to
speed up treatment, with a neat in-character reason for it -
'holo-images' appearing on your body, like penlights.

This will speed up wound treatment, but I believe that is for the best,
as currently treating wounds is so slow that half the time it's not
worth it (or more accurately, it doesn't feel worth it in comparison to
the effort you're putting in) and you're better off shrugging off minor
wounds. It will do so in a way that requires a modicum of effort, so
it's not just a flat buff across the land.

> Health analyzers and gene scanners now have a scanning sound, courtesy
of CM.

It's a neat sound that will make medbay feel more alive. First aid
analyzers get a beeboop instead.

> Surgical processors and slime scanners have recieved a similar
resprite.

IT'S SPRITE MANIA IN HERE
## Changelog
🆑
Carlarc, Weird Orb
image: Heavily reworks and resprites first aid analyzers. They now
display if they're happy, sad, angry, or warning you! Also a 'pricking'
animation.
add: First aid analyzers are now found in all basic and specialized
medkits. Toxin medkits get a new* disease analyzer. Miners get a
miner-colored one in their box.
balance: Scanning yourself with a first aid analyzer will 'create a
holo-image with treatment instructions next to your wounds', doubling
the speed of treatment of scanned wounds!
sound: Health analyzers and gene scanners now have a scanning sound,
courtesy of CM.
refactor: Refactored some wound code to make treatment duration changes
and changes in the description of wounds easier.
fix: Fixed a dummy parent feature of the health analyzer (Verbose mode)
showing up, uselessly, on the disease and first aid subtypes.
image: Surgical processors and slime scanners have recieved a similar
resprite.

to piss me off

## Why It's Good For The Game

Lessens chance to cause errors with mind traits, ensures consistent
behavior, makes it easier to change how mind traits work if necessary.

I am today's big loser

Fixes https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/issues/76509 (partly)
This was caused by my goofy ass not using the correct proc for the
VARIABLE movespeed modifier that is the bodypart one.

Additionally slightly changes some bodypart code that bothered me by
using signals even though it was just... not really necessary? And kind
of confusing?

## About The Pull Request

9e8f8dc877 SPECIES NUKING 2023 EXTRA: Makes skin tones a trait instead of a species variable (#76410)
## About The Pull Request

very similar to https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/76297, much
simpler though

## Why It's Good For The Game

Species variables are less useful and modular than traits.
If for some reason we ever add a mechanic that for some reason makes
your character use skin tones instead of whatever their original color
is, it will be much simpler to be handled.

a5b5bf6516 Tend Wounds works on non-human mobs (#76471)
## About The Pull Request

Tend Wounds seems to be intentionally written such that you would be
able to perform it on arbitrary mobs, however this had two problems.
- Most mobs can't rest and it requires a resting position, meaning the
surgery can only be initiated on cats and mothroaches.
- The code which picks up surgery steps existed on Carbon not Living, so
after the game tells you that you've started doing surgery on Runtime,
clicking on her with a scalpel will cause you to stab her to death. I
noticed this after a tragic kitten incident.

I have fixed both of these issues by moving surgery catching onto Living
instead of Carbon, and having the resting check only run if you are
capable of resting.

You still can't operate on Beepsky because he is made of metal.

## Why It's Good For The Game

It can actually quite hard to heal pets who were harmed by accident,
this allows people to roleplay as veterinarians.

## Changelog

🆑
fix: You can now correctly Tend Wounds on most non-human animals.
add: You can now Remove Implants from non-human animals, just in case
