af523d3e8f Added a new symptom with a high level, so that it's not possible to gain through mutations.
Gave the high level symptoms their own preset diseases and added them to the virus crate, along with a bottle of mutagen.

Several disease fixes, such as disease stages going below 0. Diseases which spread by blood will longer spread when you touch someone (i.e: click on someone)

I also did some cleaning up with comments.

Made handheld radios broadcast if their messages aren't sent on the same level as they're on, meaning that turning off the relay to the station will not make it impossible to communicate with others with radios.

Made some events only effect people on the station Z level.

d9480a1407 New unarmed beartrap sprites by Cheri.
Slightly improved beartrap code while I was there, mostly standardisation and formatting stuff as usual.

Fixed the Chaplain's PDA spawn.

Reduced the chance of stealthy hulk wall smashing. All but one of the messages will attempt to go over the radio now.
Changed hulk resist text colour to red because it was barely readable in green.

dbd759477e Improved window code, mostly formatting and styles, but also general improvements.
I've tested it a fair bit, but there may be bugs, so please report those if you run into them.

Added an ismetroidadult() helper

Improved L6 code.
Made the syndie shuttle console impervious to bullets.
Made mirrors breakable.

4ddf9100f5 Sending a message should no longer work if you are incapacitated. Fixes issue 1120.
Moved some mob vars to carbon:
mob/var/handcuffed -> mob/living/carbon/var/handcuffed
mob/var/legcuffed -> mob/living/carbon/var/legcuffed

As a result, I've turned some procs into pure virtual procs and moved their code into carbon.dm.

mob/proc/restrained() -> mob/living/carbon/restrained()
mob/proc/can_use_hands() -> mob/living/carbon/can_use_hands()

The hand and legcuff portion of mob/proc/u_equip() was moved into mob/living/carbon/u_equip().

The handcuffed portion of mob/proc/show_inv() was moved into mob/living/carbon/show_inv().

Fixes issue 1114.

Made parrots immune to bear traps since parrots should be flying over them anyway.

90f1631f13 Fixed the flags on the shades/constructs. Now only Juggernauts are unpushable, and none of them can be stunned.
Fixed the flags on the syndicate simple animals.

Made the hivebot beacon unpushable/pullable.

04b8d36ca7 Ported syndicates over to hostile simple animals.
Replaced the old syndicates in the new ones in all the away missions.

Removed a now unused "issyndicate" proc.

Ported the obstacle smashing over to hostile animals. This means carp will attempt to break into escape and stuff now. Scary! (I can make this syndicate only again if it becomes a problem)

338b934160 Added a "faction" var to mobs. This var gets checked when hostile simple animals attack something. Default is "neutral."
Changed the hostile code to allow for ranged mobs. Will port syndies over to hostile at some point (I don't want to go and replace the syndies on all the away maps right now).

Added pirate simple animals for Inti (icons are from him). Icons for russians and an on mob bear belt are in as well. There is a ranged version and a melee version.

Set factions for constructs, shades, carp, bears, faithless.

7926b373af -Re-ordered some stuff around. I couldn't replicate any bugs with the preferences but I can't be sure that it's 100% full proof.
I did find that your be special preferences, i.e: be alien, be traitor, be changeling and etc, are shared between preferences. I'll ask if this is intentional or not.

43e06e4ebb AIs in intellicards will not be able to move their camera anymore. Limiting them to their own core vision.

Plantbags now correctly pick up plants from trays.
Using a hoe or injecting reagents updates the tray icon.

c02361276e Re-added a buncha Faithless Brotemis took out, final room became pretty damn easy without them.
Lowered the damage shadow people take from 2 brute a tick to 1 brute a tick (so they don't have to spend forever in the dark waiting for the light damage to go away).

73b54b017b Removed mob/var/UI, it now uses client.prefs.UI_style
Removed var/constant/Pi It's already defined in setup.dm
Moved a bunch of global_lists to global_lists.dm
Fixed hair randomisation. (still bits to do)
Moved a lot of preferences_setup.dm stuff into __HELPERS/mobs.dm They'll be FAR more helpful as generic procs, rather than something tied to preferences.
Merged mob/var/nopush into status_flags with the CANPUSH flag
Merged mob/var/nodamage into status_flags with the GODMODE flag
Removed mob/var/be_syndicate and mob/var/be_random_name as they are not used.
Added /proc/ui_style2icon(ui_style) proc. It converts a string like "Midnight" into its corresponding dmi file. The code fore creating a new hud uses it.

5f4d0a2de9 -Changed the Resurrection "verb" to a "proc" so that nobody starts with it.
-Fixed a small error with the say() code trying to do a bitflag operation with the preference datum and not the toggle variable in the datum. Added a check for the mob speaking having a client so that ghosts with ears toggled on won't keep hearing mice and other animals talk.

e9c901a6c6 Shadow mutantrace can see in the dark.
Updated Brotemis's map with his final changes. This involves shuffling about the final room and adding a bunch of diary papers to explain what is going on. He also fixed the meatgrinder.

Personally, I completely overhauled the wildwest wishgranter. You can now actually choose from multiple wishes. Maybe I'll update the basic wishgranter at some point as well to be less terrible.

1aaf44e076 Moved a lot of preference related toggles to the Preferences verb tab.
You can now modify specialrole candidacy mid-round and it will save changes to your savefile.
Added a BE_NINJA flag. Doesn't do anything yet. If somebody wants to implement it, go for it.
Moved prefrences stuff from new_player to the folder /code/modules/client/
Renamed toggles so they appear in a nice order.

2e68af07c1 Merged listen_ooc, seeprayers, STFU_ghosts, STFU_radio, deadchat, sound_adminhelp, ghostears, ghostsight, canplaysound, midis, no_ambi and lobby_music into client.prefs.toggles as bitflags.
Toggling these preferences in-game will update your savefile. Meaning that your preferences will persist between rounds.

Added some savefile_version updating stuff. It's pretty crude. If you're changing any of the savefile stuff just ask and I can change it/help.

Removed some unused client vars

Ghosts no longer hear ambience. Simplified ambience code.

Simplified lobby music code. It will no longer cause a massive queue of events (which would eventually balloon in memory use)

Moved ooccolor and sound_adminhelp back to prefs. It's easier and allowed me to remove the setupclient() stuff completely.

d0ca8fcd54 -Fixed an issue with corpses appearing in the living_mob_list.
-Added a maths.dm with useful math procs. I've taken the math procs from a resource library from BYOND called dmMath ( http://www.byond.com/developer/Nickr5/dmMath ) thanks Nickr5 for the useful procs.

9250be52a7 -Got rid of a redundant del() in the PANDEMIC. Fixes Issue 1116.
-Added a new symptom. Voice Change will randomly change the voice of the affected mob. It isn't obtainable by Mutagen and I'll likely put it in the virus crate when I have more dangerous viruses.
-Added two new symptom procs. Start() will be called once and it'll be called when the advance disease processes. Allows you to setup stuff for your symptom. End() will be called before the disease is deleted.
-Diseases that spread by blood won't spread by contact anymore. You will need to directly inject someone to get them to catch the disease.
-Put a limit on shivering and fevers.
-Added a specialvoice variable. You can use SetSpecialVoice() to set a special voice that the player will say instead. To unset it, use UnsetSpecialVoice(). GetSpecialVoice() will return the player's special voice value.
-Added two DEFINEs for the limit which is how much a human can take before taking burn damage from heat or coldness. 
-Some symptom value changes.

5b8b1b3302 -Added some visual hit indication by having a variable be set to 20 when the mob takes brute or fire damage. It will then be added to the health calculation, in the overlay code, and then it will reset to 0. Thus making a cool effect.
-Removed the waiting for light replacers.

599430c3ff Re-added warnings. Admins can now give players formal warnings via the player panel. Even when they are offline. These warnings can no longer be reset by logging out.
The number of strikes a person gets is a define so hosts can modify it to their liking (I should probably move this to a config option but I can't be bothered to test it again). It defaults to 3 strikes, on the third strike you're out. It'll autoban you for 10 minutes.

30357d18ce SANITY: Created a series of generalised sanity procs. They can be found in code/__HELPERS/sanitize_values.dm
They include such procs as sanitize_integer(num, min, max, default) which will check num is a number, round num to make it an integer, then check if it is between min and max (inclusive). If it fails the bound-checks it will return default. There are others, have a look.

PERSISTENT PREFERENCES: Every ckey which connects to the game gets its own persistent /datum/preferences datum.
It is archived in var/list/preferences_datums = list("ckey" = datum)
At connect it is automatically associated with the client defines.dm (or a new one is created if it can't find an archived prefs datum). This means clients will ALWAYS have a var/datum/preferences/prefs which references this datum. So you can use it without checking if(client.prefs)
This has simplified only a few bits of code. It will however, allow us to make preferences like see_deadchat ghost_ears etc, persistent. So they will not reset when you DC.

SAVEFILES: Changed the player savefile code a lot. Hopefully I've not fucked it up too much. Every single variable loaded from saves is now sanity checked using the new sanity procs. This should help prevent savefiles becomming obsolete by sanitizing input to meet current requirements, without deleting all the ok variables and making you start from scratch >_> NOTE: I still need to sort out the savefile version stuff. I'll probably figure it out before the server updates anyway. It sees to be fine without it.

You can no longer choose your blood type. It is randomised (with each bloodtype having a realistic probability of occuring). This is to make blood analysis (detective/medical) less pointless. It is chosen as soon as you connect. It remains persistent throughout each round so you won't be able to change it by logging in/out over and over.

Replaces some copypasta code with is_afk() (still a fair bit to do)

There are new hyperlink shortcut things. _src_=vars will direct your hyperlink to viewvars. _src_=prefs to your preferences datum. (These are the only way to access those bits of code via links). This means that the overall amount of operations in almost every Topic has pretty much halved and is much prettier.

Replaced and removed adminplayervars from datum/admins/Topic. It was superfluous. They now all point directly to the viewvars code using _src_=vars

Removed the changelog popup at round start. Instead a button on your game-window will glow white if there are new updates. To peruse at your convenience. This will speed up connect times.

Removed the AFK_THRESHOLD define. It is integrated into is_afk() now.

TODO: remove the prefs stuff from mobs and clients and update code to use client.prefs to access that info.

796726543e message_admins() now only has one argument. The message you want to send. The find and replaces for %holder_ref% -> src=\ref[C.holder] and %admin_ref% -> src=\ref[C] are no longer needed. Instead we will be using _src_=holder to direct to holder and src= to direct to client (not needed, you can just omit the src parameter completely in your link)

121e8fa1d9 Split corpses into corpse and mobcorpse. Corpse is still used for decorating maps, mobcorpse is used for simple animals dropping human bodies.

0258d5be22 -Changed all minerals path from /obj/item/stack/sheet to /obj/item/stack/sheet/mineral. (This change excludes glass, Rglass, metal and plasteel)
-Reduced the chunks of code about minerals in door_assembly.dm

Preeeetty much this commit is just to update all the files to the new path of the minerals. From here, if I can, I'll start changing one by one to remove the huge chunks of code.

25b61bae72 Removed the infra_sensor define for noddie.
Integrated the sql and standard admin_rank stuff a little. Still needs some work.
Permissions Panel has a sexy floating search bar. The scripts and stylesheets are external files which will be sent to every client at connect, so they can be used in any panel you wish with no additional overheads.

If there are any bugs with the permissions panel (particularly the search bar) please let me know. thanks.

rights2text now has a seperator argument. It defaults to "", but can be any string, for instance "<br>"

67906a03a0 -You can now name your advance diseases. You can only name unnamed diseases.
-Removed the mutagen requirement from a metroid recipe so it does not conflict with the mix_virus recipe.
-When deaf, you'll get a notice when you see someone talking but you don't hear them. Being blind and deaf will give you no message, because you won't be able to tell. Talking while deaf will give you a message, even while blind.
-Diseases can't be cured by having a high body temperature now.
-I cut down the copy+paste on the meter code.
-Advance diseases now have a limit of 3 in a single mob, increased the amount of symptoms you can have to compensate.

242cd37c4b Hulks now only yell when breaking shit. They have a 2/5 chance of yelling over the radio.
Replaced the vault katana with a replica.

(svn actually managed a map merge, if it's broken please just revert to r5064's map, and replace the katana in the vault with a replica)

ed5dd1eeb5 Added a cyborg rename module, and amended the names of all the cyborg modules to be lowercase, and reference "cyborgs" instead of "borgs".
Removed an outdated robot.dm comment.

Fixed the assume direct control logging.

b86d90c6c2 Couple of bugfixes:
Wizards can no longer cast spells when muzzled. Fixes issue 843.

You can no longer take bags of holding or mechs to the clown planet. Fixes issue 1061.

Removed the infared sensor from the autolathe construct list. Fixes issue 1092.
- The infared sensor already does nothing, the code for it seems to have been removed ages ago, so there's no harm in doing this.
- Commenting out the define caused a few problems that I couldn't quite figure out. I'll leave it for now with a warning.

Removed the ability for pAI's to set arrest status. Dead players really shouldn't be allowed to grief people like that. Fixes issue 1093.

b54bc843ba -Eye lasers will hit people who are lying down.
-After using the wish granter it will update your mutation icons.
-Rejuv will now heal clone damage and brain damage.
-Changed the order of possible directions the singularity can go in so that it won't go south too often (in theory).

50fbfa0c35 As per SoS' request, added a config option ALLOW_ADMIN_OOCCOLOR. If commented out, admins won't be able to have their own personal ooc colours (it will use the default dark red colour).

dee7b74a45 -Changed turf creations, merging everything to only one proc
-Fixes Issue 1085 - Artificers creating turfs with buggy lighting
-Spells now will use the proper proc to create turfs

Due to the amount of files changed, this is just the 'part one'. The merging in turf.dm is not finished, mineral walls and buildmode are still using the old system. The creation of turfs on the game panel is not using the proper procs yet. Stay tuned for this changes, but now, sleep.
