## About The Pull Request
I'm making the ordeal of finding a maint disk (or buying blackmarket
bootleg disk) with a theme in it a slightly more rewarding experience,
while sticking to the concept that it's something you've to find, unlike
default PDA themes.
This PR also proves to be an opportunity to put the progress tab that I
coded a year ago for the 'Fishdex' to good use.
TODO:
~~Refactor preferences to allow specific choices to be shown/hidden
depending on whether the player meets a defined criteria, otherwise
you'll have to do it manually every round, which is lame~~
- [x] Make some simple ui icons associated with each unlockable theme to
be shown in the cheevo progress tab
- [x] Code to validate deserialized DB values, in the remote case that
any theme is removed in the future, as well as unit test code for any
non-abstract theme without ID
- [x] Add sound cue and chat feedback when unlocking a theme (or when
fishing a new kind of fish for the first time, like, the code's similar)
- [x] Test all of this
## Why It's Good For The Game
These themes are basically an end in itself, and I understand the reason
behind their existence is to make for some cute, little maint loot, but
relegating it to chance of finding a disk somewhere in maintenance,
**every single round** really rots whatever little substance this purely
cosmetic feature already has.
## Changelog
🆑
add: Once installed, special PDA themes from maintenance disks will be
present on your roundstart PDA on future rounds (Sadly I couldn't figure
out a way to add those to the preferences UI yet). You can check which
PDA themes you've unlocked in the Progress tab of the achievements UI.

## About The Pull Request
This is an update that touches many more things all at once (compared to
my other PRs) meant to make PDAs in general feel more consistent and not
take away from one of the experiences we want to encourage: interaction
between players.
1. Replaced all checks of a 'pda' with a 'modular pc'. This means
technically (though not done in-game currently) other modpcs can hold an
uplink, and microwaves can charge laptops.
2. Speaking of microwave, they now don't break and require
deconstruction if the cell is removed mid-charge.
3. When a Mod PC is out of power, it will now allow the Messenger to
work (which now also doesn't consume any additional power), if the app
exists on the PC. Here's a video demonstration
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/53777086/7ae12f81-a271-49b8-95fa-2ba54d2e2d1f
4. Flashlights can't be turned on while the cell is dead
5. I replaced a bunch of program vars with ``program_flags`` and renamed
``usage_flags`` to ``can_run_on_flags``.
6. Added a debug modPC that has every app installed by default. Mafia
had some issues in the past that were unknown because Mafia wasn't
preinstalled with any tablet so was never in create & destroy nor in any
other unit test. This was just an easy solution I had, but PDAs should
get more in-depth unit tests in the future for running apps n stuff- I
just wanted to make sure no other apps were broken/harddeling.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Currently when a PDA dies, its only use is to reply to PDA messages sent
to you, since you can still reply to them. Instead of just fixing it and
telling players to cope, I thought it would be nice to allow PDA
Messenger to still work, as it is a vital app.
You can call it some emergency power mode or whatever, I don't really
mind the reason behind why it is this way.
When I made cells used more on PDAs, my main goal was to encourage
upgrading your PDA and/or limiting how many apps you use at once, I did
not want this to hit on players who use it as a form of interaction.
This is the best of both worlds, I think.
The rest of the changes is just for modularity, if some downstream wants
to add tablets, phone computers, or whatever the hell else, they can
still get just as far as PDAs should be able to get to, hopefully.

app installed) like PDAs already could.

## About The Pull Request
I deleted the documentation file of ModPCs because it was barebones and
had no new information to give that autodoc couldn't. Just to make sure
this isn't a net-negative, I improved on much of the autodoc and
comments in general around ModPC code to help people understand easier
what's going on around it.
I also renamed vars that were too easily confused with other var names,
and reworked the ntnet downloader a little;
- it now has a search bar
- it now has more sections to scroll through, hopefully making it more
accurate and easy to find what you need.
- also organized the apps that were previously shoved in 'other'.
- i also upgraded it to a .tsx because why not

sources of confusion within ModPC code, and improves NTNet Downloader,
something I've procrastinated on doing for a very long time now.

## About The Pull Request
Removes all of the duplicate global lists for specific machine types
where the only thing they do is store all machines of that type.
Adds machine tracking to SSmachines in the form of a list for all
machines, and then an associative list for machines by their type.
Previously we have machines in multiple global lists, such as airlocks
being in GLOB.doors, GLOB.airlocks, GLOB.machines.
This makes that not a thing, and also means that iterating through
GLOB.machines looking for a specific type is no longer as expensive.
## About The Pull Request
- Fixes background apps not reloading the UI
- Standardizes opening/closing/backgrounding apps
- Simplifies the way apps are closed instead of having 2 procs, one on
the PC and one on the program, being named the same thing (wtf)
- Removes program states. They existed so computers can know to update
their UI every process tick, but since we now do this event based, this
is no longer needed, which is good.
- Replaces the 'forced' arg from kill_program as it was completely
unused, with ``reload_ui``, which is now used to open the UI on close,
and not to when we don't want it to.
- Closing background apps no longer reloads the entire UI
- Responding to an NT Message will no longer open the UI on your face.

## About The Pull Request
This very simply makes alarm monitor UI and icon updates event based
instead of updating them with the processing loop.
The original proc also included unnecessary conditionals, these have
been worked out.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Instead of updating alarm monitors every single program tick, we could
instead update them only when alarms actually update. This improves
responsiveness for when alarms go off (we don't wait for the next
program tick and instead update immediately), and prevents us from
running unnecessary conditionals and icon updates.

This tracks the seconds per tick of a subsystem, however note that it is
not completely accurate, as subsystems can be delayed, however it's
useful to have this number as a multiplier or ratio, so that if in
future someone changes the subsystem wait time code correctly adjusts
how fast it applies effects

## About The Pull Request
- Tablets now refresh their page when changing programs, this means the
UI will no longer close and reopen itself several times (or even have
several UIs open if shit broke hard enough).
- Removed tablet's attack self because interact already does everything
it had to do.
- Header programs now close when minimized (as there's no button to
close them in the main menu.
- Removed a lot of program UI stuff, it's now handled by the PC itself,
such as header data and ui host.
- Cut off asset sending from TGUI into it's own proc so I can re-send
assets when changing programs
- Added an ejection button for machine computers
- Fixed ID not ejecting into the user's hand when using 'Eject ID'
- Fixes a minor runtime when opening the MODsuit application without a
MODsuit already connected.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Fixes some bugs that I found with tablets
UIS now won't be flickering as bad in front of them, or have
inconsistent placement (like when you move your main menu UI, go to
Messenger, then it's back to the center of the screen).

About The Pull Request

This was a branch I've been putting off for months because my hatred for tablet apps brought me to removing computer parts, tablets, and ntnet, however I've now returned (after a lot more procrastination).
Adds Maintenance tablet applications to the game, so far there's only three of them, for proof of concept;
The health analyzer app (the chem analyzer part is removed entirely) move away from being given to medical/geneticists/detectives/RD.
There is on exception, which is the CMO, who gets to have the application on their tablet roundstart. Maybe it could be given to their role disk as well?

Maintenance applications stand out from normal tablet apps because they can't be downloaded off the App store, and instead can only be found in maintenance, with a one-use download, cloning the application from a disk to a computer, or vice versa, will delete the old one, meaning you can only have one application at once.
Why It's Good For The Game
This is more as a proof of concept for maintenance applications, but I also think that the analyzer application wasn't really that good as an app, you should either use a health analyzer or the wand in front of medbay, you shouldn't just have one in your tablet at all times because it makes it lame if your analyzer is stolen.

- Makes QDELETED use isnull(x) instead of !x, giving about 0.2 to 0.25s
of speed.
- Make disposal constructs only update icon state rather than go through
expensive overlay code. Unfortunately did not have much effect, but is
something they should've been doing nonetheless.
- Makes RegisterSignal only take signals directly as opposed to
allocating a fresh list of signals. Very few consumers actually used
this and it costs about 0.4s. Also I think this is just a bad API anyway
and that separate procs are important
`\bRegisterSignal\((.*)list\(` replaced with `RegisterSignals($1list(`
Makes the code compatible with 515.1594+
Few simple changes and one very painful one.
Let's start with the easy:
* puts call behind `LIBCALL` define, so call_ext is properly used in 515
* Adds `NAMEOF_STATIC(_,X)` macro for nameof in static definitions since
src is now invalid there.
* Fixes tgui and devserver. From 515 onward the tmp3333{procid} cache
directory is not appened to base path in browser controls so we don't
check for it in base js and put the dev server dummy window file in
actual directory not the byond root.
* Renames the few things that had /final/ in typepath to ultimate since
final is a new keyword
And the very painful change:
`.proc/whatever` format is no longer valid, so we're replacing it with
new nameof() function. All this wrapped in three new macros.
`PROC_REF(X)`,`TYPE_PROC_REF(TYPE,X)`,`GLOBAL_PROC_REF(X)`. Global is
not actually necessary but if we get nameof that does not allow globals
it would be nice validation.
This is pretty unwieldy but there's no real alternative.
If you notice anything weird in the commits let me know because majority
was done with regex replace.
@tgstation/commit-access Since the .proc/stuff is pretty big change.

Removes 'advanced' tablet subtypes that we used before PDAs were added, in some jobs.

The USB connections for air alarms have been improved and now include scrubber control, vent control and the setting of the air alarm mode. Also fixes a bug where the limits were not being properly set.
The scrubber, vent and limit control can be duplicated in the circuit to allow multiple limits/scrubbers/vents to be controlled by one circuit.
Any airlock can be made into a shell during construction by configuring the airlock electronic before insert.
- All tablets who previously had apps in a cartridge now has them built-into their tablet instead. This means it costs space for it.
- Rebalances the sizes of several apps to help them fit on Command tablets (Cargo ordering costed 20!!)
- Removes tablet cartridges, they've been reworked into a regular old portable disk (the same you use for toxins/borgs)
- Removes Signaller (the module required to run the signaller app) from tablets (likely will remove more in the future)
- Refactors the health/chem scanning app to not be as bad
- Dehardcodes detomatix resistance
- Ability to send PDA's to all is now tied to your access rather than a cartridge
- Moves 'eject disk' button to the very top of the UI
This PR unifies all Station Alert menus into one datum system.
This also means that the old html menus will be converted to tgui, which is a case for cyborg and AI menus. All menus above differ very little, practically only by amount of type of alerts they show except for the AI menu, which also has access to cameras in the alert areas and knows number of the alert sources.
* Adds in a set of datums to support sending, listening and storing alerts
In contrast to the old system, we now store a list of send alerts on the listener, rather then the area itself.
This makes clearing "our" alerts on destroy not a massive headache.
In addition, we now use a direct ref to the area's cameras list and signals to prevent camera hard deletes. This, combined with the aformentioned ability to clear, virtually eliminates hard deletes
sourced from alerts caused by strange senarios like the alert source moving its tile.
* Converts areas to the system, of note is the fact that areas no longer store a bool that determins if an alert
for power or atmos has been sent, that's instead handled by the alert sender datum. This means the sources list
on alert listeners actually means something
additionally, in order to prevent dumbassery with fire alarms since they're area based, fire alerts are sent by
an alert handler on the area itself
Revamp of the software downloader program for modular computers.
Changes:
- Programs are now sorted alphabetically with incompatible ones in the end of the list.
- Installed programs are now displayed in the list.
- Added program icons.
- Moved the error messages in place of the download button.
- Only the most important error message is displayed now. Priority: compatibility, access, free space.
- Syndicate programs are now displayed in the same list, but have a warning message from NT (There are no warning messages on syndicate OS).
- Added program categories to improve navigation. The default option "All" contains items from all categories.
- Download progress bar moved in place of the Disk usage bar. Disk usage is updated only after the download is complete, so the information was inaccurate during download. And the download bar now always visible regardless of selected category.
- The old download progress bar (next to the corresponding program) is replaced with "Downloading" indicator with a spinner.
