Leland KembleandGitHub ad860bc23e Moves a great many more things from attackby() to item_interaction() (#96657)
## About The Pull Request

30 more(files, counting by files now). In combination with the other pr
this means that we are now at more `item_interaction()` overrides than
`attackby()` overrides, not counting `[tool]_act()`s.

Changes beyond conversion:
You can no longer repeatedly put gravitational or bluespace cores into
the gravity and wormhole guns, respectively. One's enough.
A runtime that occured when boxcuttering a package open no longer occurs

## Why It's Good For The Game

300 GBP for the cost of 3. A steal if I've ever seen one. You should get
in on this.

## Changelog
🆑

fix: You can no longer repeatedly put anomaly cores into the anomaly
core guns
fix: A runtime that occured when opening a package with a boxcutter no
longer occurs.

code: 30 files have been moved from attackby() to item_interaction()

GhomandGitHub 6eb2d1674a Implementing materials checks for techweb designs. (#96257)
## About The Pull Request
In similar fashion to what was done with crafting recipes last year,
this year it's time for techweb designs and printed items to be audited.
This is mostly just about consistency, we've a lot of items that can be
printed by protolathes, autolathes, circuit printers and techfab etc.
However they almost all (except most stacks, mainly) have custom
materials that do not match in one way or another with the materials
used by the design, which is what this PR is for.

"But items printed from lathes etc. already get the mats used to make
them." Yes, they do, however that isn't the case for items of the same
type that were spawned in some other way (cargo shuttle, space/maints
loot, mapped, admins), this create a subtle discrepancy. It isn't a huge
deal (in spite of the size of this PR, ton of designs), but given that I
have done something similar with crafting recipes before, I may as well
give it a second arc of some sort and bring things to completion. And
fix a few possible oversights.

TL;DR consistency and stuff

## Why It's Good For The Game
Consistency, unit test checks to make it harder not to be consistent in
the future. Still has a few TODOs like:

- [x] Fixed newly printed, fully charged RCDs costing less than the RCD
cartridges required to fully charge one. EDIT: I had to tweak the newly
added RDD as well because it suffered from the same fundamental issue.
- [x] Fixed plates being made of iron and yet shattering like ceramic
ones. A new subtype for metallic ones has been made.

## Changelog

🆑
refactor: Refactored a few things with techweb designs (the ones for
autolathes, protolathes, circuit printers, mechfabs etc.) to make sure
that the materials of items that can be made from these designs more
closely match the materials used to make them.
fix: Lizard fries no longer need a plate to be made, like all other
treats that used to require plates in a distant past.
balance: Tweaked the materials cost of RCD, RDD and RCD cartridges.
image: Oven trays now have a more metallic hue.
balance: Plates printed printed from lathes won't shatter like ceramic
ones, in virtue of them being made out of iron instead.

JacquerelandGitHub 039a0a8180 Wizard Wand blind box & wand bandolier (#95563)
## About The Pull Request

![dreamseeker_vQmIqvqtUo](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/462d95f8-7447-45e2-90a8-9111fa07fe11)

This PR adds 16 more wands to the game, try and guess what they all do!
I finished coding this PR 6 weeks ago but it turns out I had to sprite
16 wands after that before I could PR it.

<details>

**Wand of Animation**- It's like the Staff of Animation but doesn't
recharge itself, obviously.
**Rod of Babel**- Grants victims a new random spoken language and then
removes all of their other languages.
**Shearing Rod**- It renders you bald. If you are covering your hair
with a helmet, it pops the helmet off (possibly its most useful effect).
If you're already bald, your bald head will shine brightly and blind
nearby people.
**Party Wand**- Fires projectiles that are incredibly alcoholic. Two of
them will destroy the livers of most targets and kill them (although it
gives them a good leadup time to get that fixed before dying of alcohol
toxicity), so try one at a time if you're just there to have fun.
**Wand of Ice**- Freezes people temporarily, making them really cold and
unable to move. It also spawns slippery ice on impacted tiles.
**Wand of Chaos**- Forces targets to hallucinate from a curated list of
hallucinations. It looks and is named sort of like the Staff of Chaos
just in the hopes that people are more likely to believe that the wizard
did actually just instantly kill them, set them on fire, or turn them
into a demon. Even if it doesn't, a lot of these cause you to stop
moving or be temporarily knocked down or in some other way disoriented.
**Lifting Rod**- Removes gravity from a target for two minutes, which
funcionally immobilises them if they're in the middle of a room or you
can use on yourself to cross big pits.
**Rod of Compassion**- Heals you and your target a little bit, and also
gives you both Pacifism for 30 seconds. This gives you time to talk out
your problems, or deliver a monologue.
**Wand of Snacking**- Turns things into pizza. If fired at a mob, will
put some pizza in their hands and force them to start eating it.
Unlikely to be deadly, but it might spawn mouldy pizza, a food they are
allergic to, ethereal battery acid pizza, or pizza which dismembers you.
**Pestilent Wand**- Confers a transmissible plague which causes you to
periodically cough out vermin of various degrees of danger and hostility
depending on disease level, treated via traditional methods of exorcism.
**Wand of Pratfalls**- Slips and pies the target as well as creating
small amounts of lube foam.
**Wand of Rebellion**- Removes a limb from the target, then animates
that limb. Stop hitting yourself.
**Rod of Repulsion**- Throws things you shoot away from you.
**Switching Rod**- Swap places with the hit atom, as with the spell
Swap.
**Restraining Rod**- Summons a tentacle from the ground to grasp the
target, immobilising them for 20 seconds or until someone helps them.
**Wand of Zapping**- Briefly locks up the target's nerves with lightning
(it's secretly a classic ss13 taser).

</details>

They are available to wizards via the new option "Wand Assortment
(Bargain Bin)" which only costs a single spellbook point, but gives you
an assortment of 6 wands picked at random from this list of new wands
and some of the existing ones.

If you buy two or more sets of wands (and are wearing the wand belt from
the first one) then instead of spawning wands in a belt it will spawn
them in a bandolier, which fits into your backpack or can be worn on a
suit slot.
Wand bandoliers in a suit slot will automatically replace an empty wand
you try to fire with a wand that still has ammo in it.

Several of these wands' projectiles are now also possibilities from
firing the Staff of Chaos (making it more chaotic) and some of them also
have their own Magicarp types.

Also I made it so that if you animate an animating weapon then it
focuses on animating more things instead of shooting its animating bolts
at mobs that are already animate. I could do this for more specialty
wands too at some point (door wand projectiles don't exactly hurt
anyone) but if I do that it'll probably be in a different PR.

## Why It's Good For The Game

A good number of these wands come from a downstream antagonist that's
essentially a lower-threat wizard. I thought these were all fun or funny
effects to have in the game upstream but also not ones that people would
typically want to buy as a dedicated spell (or alternately, that would
be pretty good as a dedicated spell but quite boring), so instead
they're limited use spells that you get in bulk for cheap.
I didn't think we'd really want to bulk up the spellbook with several
different kinds of themed bundle though (and frankly, they don't share
themes), so it's a blind box instead.
The bandolier was added to compensate people for buying random wands
multiple times, so they can have more of a wand-based playstyle.
Now you can spend all of your points on 60 wands (maybe more if you take
the gambling trait...) and be a sort of wizard cowboy, or split them
among your apprentices, or just leave them everywhere like candy and see
whether the crew fuck things up for themselves with their new power I
guess.

## Changelog

🆑
add: Adds 16 more wizard wands to the game, which wizards can buy
cheaply but randomly, or are available via Summon Magic.
add: If a wizard buys more than one set of wands they will receive a
"Wand Bandolier" holster which fits in the backpack or, if worn in the
suit slot, will automatically exchange an expended wand for a full one.
balance: Staffs (and wands) of animation that are animated will try to
animate other objects instead of firing at living mobs, which are
already animated.
balance: Animating a wand of nothing will turn it into a wand of
animation (and animate it).
balance: The staff of chaos can now do more things.
balance: Magicarp now additionally come in Babbling, Frigid, Quantum,
and Weightless varieties. Collect them all!

Leland KembleandGitHub 07138d5445 Adds some special case interactions with the mail counterfitter device (#95180)
## About The Pull Request

Adds some type specific interactions to the mail produced by the GLA-2
mail counterfit device. Currently, it applies `attack_self()` to all
items when armed. The new interactions are, currently:

- Facehuggers jump on your face
- Flashes flash you
- Boxing gloves uppercut you
- Syringes prick you with poison
- Sprays spray you
- Signallers signal
- Monkey cubes/other cubes expand
- Guns shoot you in the head

There'll be more, probably. Leave your ideas(only good ones though).

## Why It's Good For The Game

First of all, none of these are strenuous from a balance perspective.
The primary use of this device is an instant bomb, and none of these
things are bombs. Easy delineation, I doubt this will become a problem.

As said already, the primary use of this device is a bomb. I've seen it
used for another thing once ever, and while that thing was incredibly
cool, the counterfit device is still a one-trick pony for the most part.
While none of these can compete with the lethality of the bomb, the hope
is that they will collectively help bring variety to an item that feels
built for variety.

## Changelog
🆑

add: Several items have been given special interactions when placed
inside counterfit mail.

GhomandGitHub 0b0c5ea91e Unit test material checks are now performed on all crafting recipes by default. All stack recipes now transfer mats to the results (#92620)
## About The Pull Request
Extends the part of the crafting unit test that ensures consistency
between the total mats of the components of a recipe (or rather, the
result of said recipe) and a generic instance of the same type as its
result, previously only implemented on food recipes.

## Why It's Good For The Game
This ensures a degree of consistency with the material composition of
various objects in the game. I couldn't do it in the original PR as that
one was too big already and it took months to get it merged, and have
the relative bugs fixed.

Currently a WIP as I slowly deal with the unit test reports.

## Changelog

🆑
refactor: Follow-up to the crafting/material refactor from months ago.
All objects crafted with stacks now inherit their mat composition (not
necessarily the effects and color) by default, while previously only a
few things like chair, sinks and toilets did. Report any object looking
or behaving weirdly as a result.
fix: The material composition of ammo boxes is no longer a 1/10 of what
it's supposed to be. It was a shitty hack to make it harder to recycle
empty ammo boxes. Instead, they lose materials as they're emptied now.

Joshua KidderandGitHub 7a3ad79506 All camelCase (Brute|Burn|Fire|Tox|Oxy|Organ|Stamina)(Loss) procs now use snake_case. UNDERSCORES RULE! (#94111)
## About The Pull Request
It's just a partial cleanup of
anti-[STYLE](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/blob/master/.github/guides/STYLE.md)
code from /tg/'s ancient history. I compiled & tested with my helpful
assistant and damage is still working.

I'll upload the .cs script I used to do it shortly.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Just minor code cleanup.

Script used is located at https://metek.tech/camelTo-Snake.7z

EDIT 11/23/25: Updated the script to use multithreading and sequential
scan so it works a hell of a lot faster

SmArtKarandGitHub 1056e1bf63 Fixes an (at least) year old bug which prevented projectiles from making chat messages when hitting someone (#93291)
## About The Pull Request

So, while working on #93275 I've noticed that suspiciously none of the
projectiles made impact messages, the only ones I could see in chat were
wounds, not hits. Turns out that because guns, for whatever ungodly
reason, have been storing their suppression state and their suppressor
in the same variable presumably since their inception, instead of
SUPPRESSED_NONE (0) projectiles were assigned null, or if suppressed by
an item the suppressor itself, both of which were treated as
SUPPRESSED_VERY by impact message logic and skipped actually sending any
messages to players' chats.
I've split the variables and put suppressor onto ballistics (which are
the only user of said mechanic), so now projectiles should actually
inform players that they/someone nearby have been hit with a bullet.

hack together their own attack chain, and are now integrated straight
into the real attack chain. This refactor itself was done because batons
don't send any attack signals, which has been annoying in the past (for
swing combat).

GhomandShadow-Quill 11d82b7995 You can now interact with held mobs beside wearing them (feat: "minor" melee attack chain cleanup) (#90080)
People can now pet held mothroaches and pugs if they want to, or use
items on them, hopefully without causing many issues. After all, it only
took about a couple dozen lines of code to make...

...Oh, did the 527 files changed or the 850~ lines added/removed perhaps
catch your eye? Made you wonder if I accidentally pushed the wrong
branch? or skewed something up big time? Well, nuh uh. I just happen to
be fed up with the melee attack chain still using stringized params
instead of an array/list. It was frankly revolting to see how I'd have
had to otherwise call `list2params` for what I'm trying to accomplish
here, and make this PR another tessera to the immense stupidity of our
attack chain procs calling `params2list` over and over and over instead
of just using that one call instance from `ClickOn` as an argument. It's

I also tried to replace some of those single letter vars/args but there
are just way too many of them.

Improving old code. And I want to be able to pet mobroaches while

SmArtKarandRoxy 57a01623a6 Adds a new syringe gun mode and improves foam darts. (#89510)
## About The Pull Request

This PR implements multiple new features:

Foam darts now can stick to people as long as their cap isn't removed.
Riot foam darts have a chance to jostle when you move with one stuck
inside of you, dealing a bit of stamina damage from the weight stuck to
your limbs.

Syringe guns received a second "low power" mode, toggleable with in-hand
right click. In this mode, syringes fired will embed into their target
and slowly leak their reagents instead of instantly delivering them.
Thankfully, they can be plucked out pretty quickly.

You can also insert syringes into uncapped (screwdriver-ed) foam darts
(similarly to pens) to achieve the same result, allowing you to get a
bootleg low-efficiency syringe gun.

Additionally, I fixed/cleaned up some embedding issues/code which I
found while coding this.

## Why It's Good For The Game

This allows players to explore new funny interactions between items and
chems, as we don't have a reliable slow release mechanism aside from IV
drips currently. And foam darts embedding it just (mostly) harmless
fluff, if someone figures out a way to cause havoc with it then I'll be
very proud of them (someone totally will).

SmArtKarandGitHub 7ddc30783a Adds better attack animations and alternate attack modes (#88418)
## About The Pull Request

This is the first PR in a series attempting to modernize our damage and
armor, both from a code and a gameplay perspective. This part implements
unique attack animations, adds alternate attack modes for items and
fixes some minor oversights.

Items now have unique attack animation based on their sharpness - sharp
items are now swung in an arc, while pointy items are thrust forward.
This change is ***purely visual***, this is not swing combat. (However,
this does assign icon rotation data to many items, which should help
swing combat later down the line).

Certain items like knives and swords now have secondary attacks - right
clicks will perform stabbing attacks instead of slashing for a chance to
leave piercing wounds, albeit with slightly lower damage - trying to
stick a katana through someone won't get you very far!

https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/1f92bbcd-9aa1-482f-bc26-5e84fe2a07e1

Turns out that spears acted as oversized knives this entire time, being
SHARP_EDGED instead of SHARP_POINTY - in order for their animations to
make sense, they're now once again pointy (according to comment,
originally they were made sharp because piercing wounds weren't very
threatening, which is no longer the case)

Another major change is that structure damage is now influenced by armor
penetration - I am not sure if this is intentional or not, but attacking
item's AP never applied to non-mob damage.

Additionally, also fixes an issue where attack verbs for you and
everyone else may differ.

SmArtKarandGitHub bbb7a41743 Guncode Agony 4: The Great Projectile Purge (#87740)
## About The Pull Request
~~Kept you waitin huh!~~
The projectile refactor is finally here, 4 years later. This PR (almost)
completely rewrites projectile logic to be more maintainable and
performant.

### Key changes:
* Instead of moving by a fixed amount of pixels, potentially skipping
tile corners and being performance-heavy, projectiles now use
raymarching in order to teleport through tiles and only visually animate
themselves. This allows us to do custom per-projectile animations and
makes the code much more reliable, sane and maintainable. You (did not)
serve us well, pixel_move.
* Speed variable now measures how many tiles (if SSprojectiles has
default values) a projectile passes in a tick instead of being a magical
Kevinz Unit™️ coefficient. pixel_speed_multiplier has been retired
because it never had a right to exist in the first place. __This means
that downstreams will need to set all of their custom projectiles' speed
values to ``pixel_speed_multiplier / speed``__ in order to prevent
projectiles from inverting their speed.
* Hitscans no longer operate with spartial vectors and instead only
store key points in which the projectile impacted something or changed
its angle. This should similarly make the code much easier to work with,
as well as fixing some visual jank due to incorrect calculations.
* Projectiles only delete themselves the ***next*** tick after impacting
something or reaching their maximum range. Doing so allows them to
finish their impact animation and hide themselves between ticks via
animation chains. This means that projectiles no longer disappear ~a
tile before hitting their target, and that we can finally make impact
markers be consistent with where the projectile actually landed instead
of being entirely random.

### But how will this affect the ~~trout population~~ gameplay?

Beyond improved visuals, smoother movement and a few minor bugfixes,
this should not have a major gameplay impact. If something changed its
behavior in an unexpected way or started looking odd, please make an
issue report.
Projectile impacts should now be consistent with their visual position,
so hitting and dodging shots should be slightly easier and more
intuitive.

This PR should be testmerged extensively due to the amount of changes it
brings and considerable difficulty in reviewing them. Please contact me
to ensure its good to merge.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Our core projectile code is an ungodly abomination that nobody except
me, Kapu and Potato dared to poke in the past months (potentially
longer). It is laggy, overcomplicated and absolutely unmaintaineable -
while a lot of decisions made sense 4 years ago when we were attempting
to introduce pixel movement, nowadays they are only acting as major
roadblocks for any contributor who is attempting to make projectile
behavior that differs from normal in any way.

Huge thanks to Kapu and Potato (Lemon) on the discord for providing
insights, ideas and advice throughout the past months regarding
potential improvements to projectile code, almost all of which made it
in.

carlarctgandGitHub 31459b4883 Buffs the Anomalock modules (#87743)
## About The Pull Request

Significantly buffed the anomalock modules.

Anomalock modules can be used with eachother.

Antigravity module costs 2 complexity.

Teleporter module is thrice as fast at teleporting with a slightly
reduced cooldown, but has a much larger power cost.

Changed how teleporter tracks maximum range to be less painful to the
end user.

Kinesis module's default range has been extended to 8.

Kinesis module can drag around people in critical condition or worse.
## Why It's Good For The Game

These modules have historically been, well, kind of a complete joke.
They seem to have been crippled out of fear of them being overpowering
with the end result of being unusable.

Anomaly items are allowed and meant to be fun, strong, and wild, so I
really don't see why these need to be so weak. The amount of times I'd
rather make a teleporter that takes 3 seconds to get you anywhere
instead of an instant portal gun or a bag of holding is roughly zero.

People hate modsuits, and in part that hate is because of modules which
do very, very little due to severe undertuning. Let's fix that with the
anomaly ones here.

> Anomalock modules can be used with eachother.

Let people get a buncha anomaly modulse together if they want to. An
antigravity user with teleporting and kinesis could be something to
fear, but not so much as to strike it from existence altogether without
even letting people mess around with it first.

> Antigravity module costs 2 complexity.

Antigravity module is glorified wittel -> gravitum, but it takes a core
and 3 complexity. At least let it be somewhat cheap.

> Teleporter module is thrice as fast at teleporting with a slightly
reduced cooldown, but has a much larger power cost.

Teleporter module is a big damn joke ATM, as stated above being
effectively overshadowed in every way by the portal gun. This now gives
it a fun niche instead, of being able to teleport around everywhere at
the cost of a massive power draw.

> Changed how teleporter tracks maximum range to be less painful to the
end user.

view() was working weirdly when I was using it. It was failing to
register tiles somewhat near the end of the screen, so I just ditched it
for a get_dist check that I threw 9 in as a somewhat arbitrary value
for.

> Kinesis module's default range has been extended to 8.

There's this bug on live where when you kinesis someone it flies all the
way to the SW corner of the screen for seemingly no reason. I don't know
why it happens but it drives me mad.

Even without that bug, 5 tiles is extremely frustrating to handle - it's
super, super annoying to find a middleground between 'not slapping you
in the face', 'not losing your grip'. 8 tiles is a lot more forgiving
and makes the module actually fun to use.

> Kinesis module can drag around people in critical condition or worse.

This one might be a bit nuts, but I really want to see this ingame, it's
kind of the best part of the module yet is unobtainable. Maybe some
stuff would need to be tuned for it, like making human throws flimsy.

SmArtKarandGitHub d4ac95a0e1 Nobody expects the span inquisition: replaces most <span>s with macros (#86798)
## About The Pull Request
123 changed files and multiple crashes after writing broken regex, I
replaced most remains of direct spans with macros. This cleans up the
code and makes it easier to work with in general, see justification for
the original PR. I also fixed a bunch of broken and/or unclosed spans
here too.
I intentionally avoided replacing spans with multiple classes (in most
cases) and spans in the middle of strings as it would impact readability
(in my opinion at least) and could be done later if required.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Cleaner code, actually using our macros, fixes borked HTML in some
places. See original PR.

MrMelbertandGitHub ff6b41aa07 Afterattack is dead, long live Afterattack (#83818)
## About The Pull Request

- Afterattack is a very simple proc now: All it does is this, and all
it's used for is for having a convenient place to put effects an item
does after a successful attack (IE, the attack was not blocked)

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/51863163/1e70f7be-0990-4827-a60a-0c9dd0e0ee49)

- An overwhelming majority of afterattack implementations have been
moved to `interact_with_atom` or the new `ranged_interact_with_atom`

I have manually tested many of the refactored procs but there was 200+
so it's kinda hard

## Why It's Good For The Game

Afterattack is one of the worst parts of the attack chain, as it
simultaneously serves as a way of doing random interactions NOT AT ALL
related to attacks (despite the name) while ALSO serving as the defacto
way to do a ranged interaction with an item

This means careless coders (most of them) may throw stuff in afterattack
without realizing how wide reaching it is, which causes bugs. By making
two well defined, separate procs for handing adjacent vs ranged
interactions, it becomes WAY WAY WAY more easy to develop for.

If you want to do something when you click on something else and you're
adjacent, use `interact_with_atom`
If you want to do something when you click on something else and you're
not adjacent, use 'ranged_interact_with_atom`

This does result in some instances of boilerplate as shown here:

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/51863163/a7e469dd-115e-4e5b-88e0-0c664619c878)

But I think it's acceptable, feel free to oppose if you don't I'm sure
we can think of another solution

~~Additionally it makes it easier to implement swing combat. That's a
bonus I guess~~

## Changelog

🆑 Melbert
refactor: Over 200 item interactions have been refactored to use a
newer, easier-to-use system. Report any oddities with using items on
other objects you may see (such as surgery, reagent containers like cups
and spray bottles, or construction devices), especially using something
at range (such as guns or chisels)
refactor: Item-On-Modsuit interactions have changed slightly. While on
combat mode, you will attempt to "use" the item on the suit instead of
inserting it into the suit's storage. This means being on combat mode
while the suit's panel is open will block you from inserting items
entirely via click (but other methods such as hotkey, clicking on the
storage boxes, and mousedrop will still work).
refactor: The detective's scanner will now be inserted into storage
items if clicked normally, and will scan the storage item if on combat
mode

san7890andGitHub 39d9c45b4a Meat Hook Rework (Accidental Features) (#80002)
## About The Pull Request

Or, how I tried to kill `/datum/forced_movement` but got absolutely
clonged.

Actually, I did kill `/datum/forced_movement`. It was only used in one
spot so I just went ahead and cooked it into a special utility datum
that should only be used in one spot. We can optimize the code later or
something, but I like the way it is right now (pretty much status quo
without the potential of someone using a depreciated framework).

Alright, there were also like 3 `TODO`s (4 if you count the move loop
comment (which is ehhhh)). I naively tried to tackle them a very hard
way, but then I just realized I could use the fancy new datum I cooked
up and wow they're all solved now. The hook looks so fucking good now.

* The code is overall more streamlined, with all of the post-projectile
work being handled by a special datum (I wanted it to be handled by the
hook but the timings were all based on SSFastprocess so datum it is).
Forced movement is killed but we just salvaged whatever we needed from
it.
* More traits to ensure we don't cheese in a way we're not supposed to
* A very sexy chain will spawn when you drag your kill in (this wasn't
there before but I fixeded it :3)
* The firer will actually get grounded when they try and shoot the chain
out. They get grounded for 0.25 seconds unless they hit something. I
don't know how the timing is but I think it's fair.
* We also add a unique suicide act, because I noticed we did the
"magical" one previously, which big-league sucked.
* More traits to ensure less cheese! I like how nice it is now.
## Why It's Good For The Game

The meat hook really makes you _feel_ like Roadhog from Overwatch.
Resolves a bunch of old TODOs while getting rid of a completely obsolete
framework in a really neat way. I don't typically like mixing balances
and refactors but these TODOs were getting crusty man i just wanted to
get them out of the way
## Changelog
🆑
balance: The Meat Hook will now "ground" you whenever you fire it out at
someone. You get a very small immobilization every time you fire, which
"upgrades" to a full immobilization whenever you actually hit an atom
and start to drag it in.
fix: A chain should now show up as you drag in something with the meat
hooks.
fix: Meat hooks should no longer play the "magical gun" suicide if you
were to use it, but instead do their own unique thing.

c34cd6fd3d [MIRROR] More code compression for reagent holder [MDB IGNORE] (#25121)
* More code compression for reagent holder (#79796)

## About The Pull Request
Part 2 of #79686 where we trim down the size of `holder.dm` even further
and in the process give some procs more advanced features as they get
merged with their counterparts.

**1. Removes & merges `get_multiple_reagent_amounts()` proc with
`get_reagent_amount()`**
The proc `get_multiple_reagent_amounts()` was only used by bio generator
and 1 other item with its only use being finding the sum of all reagents
present in the list returned by
`typesof(datum/reagent/consumable/nutrient)`. Currently the approach is
very inefficient because.
- `typesof()` is an expensive call which returns a long list of reagents
- `get_multiple_reagent_amounts()` would then use 2 nested for loops.
One to loop over every reagent in this holder & another inner for loop
to loop over every reagent returned by `typesof()` operator so the time
complexity of this proc is overall multiplicative which in lamen terms
means "Bad"

We can replicate the same behaviour of `typesof()` by using the
`type2parent()` proc and 1 more direct type check to get the exact same
behaviour but with much faster results, therefore reducing overall code

**2. Removes & merges `get_reagent()` proc with `has_reagent()`**
The proc `has_reagent()` is way more advanced than `get_reagent()` with
arguments requesting for a specific amount, metabolization and now even
has a new argument i.e. `chemical flag`. `has_reagent()` has always
returned the reagent reference directly and not a simple TRUE/FALSE so
it is a perfect replacement for `get_reagent()`, therefore reducing
overall code

**3. Removes & merges `has_chemical_flag()` proc with `has_reagent()`**
The proc `has_reagent()` can now look for a specific reagent with a
specific chemical flag as well as mentioned above thus it can replace
`has_chemical_flag()` therefore reducing overall code
