* Fixes#4632.
* 1:27 am coding best coding
* fixes a warning
* Removes the last of the gender macros. Gender is dead.
* gender II: the travis-ing
* linebreaks are dead too.
* oops i accidentally the gender, also ambiguous gender is now taken into account for get_visible_gender
Adds toolspeed var, which is a multiplier on how 'fast' the tool works. 0.5 means it goes twice as fast.
Adds usesound var, which determines what sound is used when a tool is being used.
Changes a lot of code to use those two vars instead.
Adds 'ayyy' tools, which are ported from /tg/'s abductor gamemode. They're currently admin only but I might make them obtainable by xenoarch later.
Adds powertools, also from /tg/. CE starts with them in a new toolbelt that spawns in their locker, ported from (you guessed it) /tg/.
Changes welder sprites to look nicer, ported yet again from /tg/. Modified the blue welder slightly so it can be the electric welder sprite.
Adds various sounds from /tg/, for tools and welders.
A lot of new defines are now in inventory_sizes.dm, which contains;
All the size identifiers (the thing that tells the game if something is bulky, or w/e).
Storage costs for all the sizes, which are exponents of two, as previously.
A few constants for inventory size.
Also changes all storage item's capacity definitions by basing it off of how many 'normal slots' exist for it. This allows one to change the definition for all of the defines in the file, and everything will follow along without needing to change 500 files. In testing, I made all ITEMSIZE_COST_* defines doubled, and nothing had broke.
The benefit of doing all of this is that it makes adding new weight classes in the future much simpler, and makes knowing how much space a container has easier, as seeing ITEMSIZE_COST_NORMAL * 7 means it can hold seven normal items.
Adjusts the edge w_class requirement to require a weapon that is larger
than or equal to the limb's w_class. Also makes the surgical saw and
surgical drill w_class = 3, and the scalpel w_class = 1.
Protolathe and CI build procs moved to them from RD console.
Protolathe and CI now have a build queue. Designs take varying time to
build.
P and CI material storage is now a list instead of a set of vars.
origin_tech is now a list.
All sheets now contain exactly 2000 units of matter.
In design datum, chemicals and materials are two separate lists.
Designs are now sorted. The method is kinda hacky but flexible. They
have a var, sort_string. Designs are sorted alphabetically using it.
Circuits how show whether they build a machine or a computer in CI menu.
Adds item construction, for now protolathe is used.
First pass on major conversion of xenomorphs to a human subspecies. Additional condensing of various redundant mob verbs.
Converted larva and diona to their own class, collapsed the rest of xenomorphs into a human species, other stuff.
Completely removed attack_alien(). Still have to reimplement some of the lost behavior for human/alien.
Reapplies lost attack_alien() functionality other than tackling/caressing.
Further alien/humanoid cleanup and xenospawn fix-ups. Also uncommented caste verbs.
Removed half-finished abilities system since species.dm handles it.
All xenomorphs functionality should be working now, other than the HUD, tackling and the xenomorph balance issues.
Added icons for xenomorph castes, moved broadcast languages into datums, removed alien_talk and robot_talk vars.
Merged with organ removal code.
Reapplied verbs to simple_animals/slimes. Updated species definitions to have appropriate organs.
Readded tackle as a human verb.
Borer changes regarding brain removal.
Working on moving the human HUD to the species datum a bit. Mixed results.
Moved Cortical Link to a language, added borer husks.
Tidied up the HUD stuff. Still need to make it rebuild properly when species is changed, but this will do for no
Compile fix, forgot the DME.
Fixed up ventcrawl, added new organ mechanics for dionaea.
Fixed up some overlooked sections causing mobs without brains to die immediately.
Fixed up plasma generation for queens, bugs with organs, force_organ issues with set_species().
Apply screwdriver to robotic arms and legs to get hands/feet. They can
be surgically attached properly, far as I can tell. Also, fixed a few
backwards slashes in text marcos.
I got about half-way through changing these when SuperSayu came up and said he fixed this a while ago but never posted the fix. So technically half of these were fixed by me and half by him. Credit to both of us!

Golems get head protection from their suit now and have their head slot clear so you can tell em apart with hats.
Fixed a typo related to slime surgery that I assume has been around since metroids were added how did nobody notice this thanks Failcakes.

- Xenos suit and helm (completely obscuring, and almost indistinguishable from drones) (admin spawned only for now).
- Facehuggers now have different icon states for being thrown and after impregnation.
- New death, unconscious and sleeping icons for aliens.
- New icon (and projectile type) for neuroxotin.
- New infection overlay images for telling aliens about pregnant humans (3 icons, showing the progression of the infestation).
- New system for handling alien impregnation (alien embryos are an object inside the mob, instead of a disease).
- Players can be operated surgically to remove the alien embryos (targetting the chest: scalpel, surgical saw, hemostat, retractors. If the embryo is nearly fully developed, it might come out alive though.
- Corgis can now get impregnated.
- There is a short animated overlay of a chestburster when it comes time to burst chests.
- Alien larva now have three different icon sets, depending on their growth (25% they are bloody and pale, 25% - 75% they are pale, 75% onwards they are deep red).
Fixed up table smashing, and added rack smashing in the same way.
Added new north/south facing for the large alien queen.
Updated the changelog.

Credit goes to CodenameB and Spike68 for the original proposed commit. Althought it ended up changing, this commit still uses all of their suicide messages. Thanks to carn for pseudo-coding the base of the system that I ended up using to implement this.
The suicide verb checks the item in your active hand and calls that item's suicide_act(). (/obj/item/proc/suicide_act(mob/user)) The proc displays the suicide message to any viewers and returns a damage type. The suicide verb then applies 175 damage to the mob divided by the number of damage types. If the proc returns null (meaning that the item does not have a suicide_act() defined) the regular suicide occurs.
To any coder wanting to add items to this:
- You MUST return one or more damage types. "return (BRUTELOSS|FIRELOSS)" for example.
- Please do not manually type in the item's name; use [src] to refrence an it instead. It'll save time down the road if an item gets renamed. It also helps handle any child of that item without copy/pasting the proc to each child.
- Please do not use 'usr' for anything.
Parrots can now see which item they are holding onto in the stat panel.
The toy crossbow should once again work properly. Fixes Issue 1227.

Added 13 core types with a mix of old and new reactions. Each slime has its own core type/reaction.
Added plasma sheets/a grinder to xenobio.
Added Phoal's slime people sprites.
Added simple animal pet slimes (one of the core types allows you to obtain them).
Updated the changelog
Still to come: slime types having their own temperature resists/special attacks.
This is all probably unbalanced as well but we'll see how it goes.

Removed defines/obj/toy.dm and moved the defines down to objects/items/toys.dm
Moved a big chunk of defines out of defines/obj/weapon.dm and into their respective .dm files.

Carp are slightly faster (in testing, I walked away from one as a borg, this seems a bit silly). This might not work well in practice though what with lag on a live server, so I'm guessing I might have to change this back.
Carp/syndicate also keep chasing their target as long as they're within 10 tiles, to compensate for them being slower than humans.
Removed the restriction on debraining changelings, this was a terrible "fix" to half-changelings and just lets you metagame.
Added a mineral var (metal) to floors to stop runtimes when you hit them with mining tools.

The Pandemic should be more compatible with advance diseases. Currently it's pretty ugly but when I get rid of the broken diseases and convert the rest to advance diseases I will clean up the pandemic.
Vaccines will now work properly with advance diseases.
Soon I'll add a system so that you are able to name your own diseases, as I've added ways for me to do that with the archive_diseases list.
Gave names to symptoms for the Pandemic.

Pretty much finished surgery system.
-working appendectomy, bone surgery, eye surgery, face surgery, brain surgery (humans only) and metroid core surgery.
-moved operation stages tracking vars to one op_stage datum. Left brain opstage var alone because way too many things reference it.
-added bone gel and bone setter.
-added check for surgery tools, so new doctors won't beat shit out of patients on optable too often.
-pretty much emptied surgery_tols.dm, it was unneeded by this point.
Still need to test it more, slap sanity checks everyfuckingwhere.
Also more literate messages written with help of trained monkey (faux).
Appendectomy fully working
Bone surgery working
Added bone gel and bone setter items
Made bandaging stop bleeding instantly, instead of waiting for next wound update.
Added variabe to groin organ to track appendectomy stage.
-Removes jars which were redundant and used nowhere else but metroid jelly stuff. Rorojelly now comes in a beaker.
I've replaced most of the important names and messages where applicable. Going through and replacing all instances of the word 'metroid' with 'roro' in the code is a project in itself.

This cleans up all of the files in code/game/objects/items/weapons. Meaning that the re-organizing part of this endeavour is complete. All that is left is to start dragging down all of the object definitions from code/defines/ into their proper places.
While I'm certain this is all good, I'll apologize now if files or paths end up broken.
Again: Make sure your .dme is up to date! Delete it if necessary to SVN Upload it to the current revision.

As such, changelings can now be reported at round-end, even after gibbing. Resolves Issue 251
Changeling power proc_holders are now datums rather than objects.
Condensed all those changeling stings down a bit. This will make fixing issue 351 easier to fix
Replaced changeling fakedeath and a number of checks for the zombiepowder reagent with a bitflag: mob/var/status_flags & FAKEDEATH
setting the FAKEDEATH flag will make the mob appear dead in exactly the same way changeling parasting and parapens worked. I've updated changelings and zombiepowder to work with this flag.
Bug fixes for the staff of change. There was a type mismatch and I typo'd "alien" as "xeno" so xenos were not being randomly picked.
TODO:
changeling purchased verbs could probably be moved to mind/special_verbs. Likewise, other modular antag proc-holders can be merged with the changeling system using the same type of datum. (namely wizards)

Created defines for disabilities and sdisabilities bitflags. Thos areas of code really need attention. Why are there so many blind variables/flags D= disability bitflags are located in setup.dm
Handcuff overlays now update when beepsky/ed-209s cuff you.
Resolves issue 628. Took a stab at tidying up handle_regular_hud_updates() for humans. If it's all working perfectly as it appears to be I'll start doing the same for other mobs. Whomever started 'fixing' this and then just abandoned it with redundant and heavily-broken code should be ashamed :[ It was/is in a real sorry state.
Resolves issue 617. Shades can no longer be weakened (stunbatons etc).
Fixed an issue with one of the antag deaf-sting/rune/whatever-it-was-I-forget causing nearsightedness rather than deafness :P
