fd32189505 Major Map overhaul
Cargo finalized
Security rework #5 Done.
Maintence fleshed out,
...Security reword #6 started,
Escape hall added in progress,
added centcom z level for transit arrival/departure shuttles along with centcom.
Copied tether.dm files over to /yw map folder for proper custom map compiling. (required for planets to function)
Recoded Planetary atmos to use O2, Super cold O2, and weather to be harsher.
Added a buncha areas to differant mapping z levels, still a lot more to go.
New titlescreen for our server by an artist.

Added some structures DMI's to use, adjusted mining+part of xenoarch,
did a lot of work on lower level and maint level, added a few closet
variants for lumberjacks

99eb6f9404 Updates Tools
Adds toolspeed var, which is a multiplier on how 'fast' the tool works.  0.5 means it goes twice as fast.
Adds usesound var, which determines what sound is used when a tool is being used.
Changes a lot of code to use those two vars instead.
Adds 'ayyy' tools, which are ported from /tg/'s abductor gamemode.  They're currently admin only but I might make them obtainable by xenoarch later.
Adds powertools, also from /tg/.  CE starts with them in a new toolbelt that spawns in their locker, ported from (you guessed it) /tg/.
Changes welder sprites to look nicer, ported yet again from /tg/.  Modified the blue welder slightly so it can be the electric welder sprite.
Adds various sounds from /tg/, for tools and welders.

9c78d6a2a1 Naming inconsistencies fixed
The short naming of central command has been really inconsistent across
the game's files. This has always annoyed the shit out of me.

CentComm and Centcomm and Centcom are now all CentCom, specifically with
that capitalization. Why one M instead of two M's? Because Comm with two
'M's = Communications. Hence, Telecomms, NOT Telecoms. Telecoms is
incorrect. CentCom was also chosen because CentCom with one M and this
casing is most found throughout the game's files.

Speaking of Telecomms, I corrected one instance in the game where it's
Telecom. Like I said, this is not correct. There was only one
inconsistency.

Likewise, Nanotrasen has been changed to NanoTrasen. Nanotrasen only
appears 20 times, where NanoTrasen appears 62. NanoTrasen is clearly the
preferred, correct naming.

e9dd848cf1 Freezer Fixes
Freezer crates, freezer boxes, cryobags, and medical grippers now properly preserve organs, as well as organs attached to organs.
Cleans up storage.dm slightly by removing loc setting with forceMove(), for the above to work.

88b80732e7 Generalizes access definitions.
Access description, type, and area/region (medical, security, etc.) is now defined in a datum, ensuring the id modification consoles will (should) never be missing entries.

Makes the garbage collector similarly robust. Continues the whole Destroy/qdel porting.

2ae273e1b8 Gear again
Collection of gear and changes from the four gear polls on the forums
includes:
2 new automatic weapons, mapped in to ERT and random weapon spawns.
Laser carbine balance.
Slow emergency softsuits, no armor value other than bio and rad, 4
slowdown.
1 knife, not mapped in, available for Psi's uplink merge.
New vests: 2 types, 2 pocket no slowdown,
4 pocket with slowdown, second is available from cargo and one random
vest
spawn in armory. The first replaces all instances of the old vests. Old
vests still exist in code.
Mercenary vest with no slowdown, 4 pockets, and slightly better armor,
not on map, possibly for Nukes or Traitor Uplink
Holster rearrangement for custom loadout.
Acid dispenser, mapped into robotics and science.
New food items, added to vendors and rations crate.
New random medical spawns, added to medbay.
Cargo and loadout additions to accommodate new items.
1 beanbag loaded 5 round shotgun added to Warden's closet to compensate
for officers having .45 ltls and the HoS having an e-gun, suggested by
IRC and server.

d5e9851b62 integrate XGM into the code
New turf proc: assume_gas().  Maps to air.adjust_gas_temp().
Lots of optimizations to processing, fire, lighting, HasEntered() and
 more.
Zones now process all fire data and existance in one go, fire objects
 only handle spreading.
Most code has been ported straight so some of it mightn't be ideally
 structured for the new gas_mixtures.

- Added atmos themed sprite for atmospheric technician secure closets
- Added a second radiation suit to radiation suit closets
- Added a solar pack crate (because adding crates to the map with this many objects manually is silly)

30915b5ba4 Escape shuttle modified after feedback.
Wall emergency lockers now contain two breath masks and two emergency oxygen tanks.

Emergency ration crates contain two boxes of donk-pockets. The escape shuttle has two crates at the back.

390029007d Added Rice and Plastellium plants. Rice stalks are grinded into rice that you can make boiled rice, rice pudding and Sake from. Plastellium is refined into plastic by grinding it into plasticide. 20 plasticide + 10 poly acid makes 10 sheets of platic which can be used to make crates, forks, spoons, knives, ashtrays or plastic bags from. 2013-04-23 22:52:08 +01:00

169c96db1b Too remove potential excessive garbage collection per tick. We will be reusing lists for overlays instead of deleting and creating them.
the .Cut() proc on a list will empty a list by default. This also will set the len to 0.

71a874e782 You can no longer steal chairs that mobs are buckled to those chairs. Fixes issue 1133.
False walls now have a variable that flips on when it's opening or closing. This should prevent the closing door code to execute after trying to open the door (or visa versa) due to the sleep()s used in there.

I've also re-organized teh  false_walls.dm file a bit. False r-walls really need to be changed into a subtype of false walls at some point.

-Adds weed control crates, orderable by cargo techs, for the purpose of kudzu control.
-You can now construct folders with cardboard sheets.
-Moves newspaper sprites out of weapons.dmi

757410d487 Closets now pick up all items on the tile they're created on, the same as crates. This makes it easier for mappers to put things in lockers without making new locker types or var-editing them.
Moved snowflake telecomm ambient sound code that only half worked into the switch that's designed to handle it.

Committing for Aranclanos:
- Toggle ambience should now properly work. Fixes issue 992.

1a8fb7c09e Another small chunk of reorganizing objects.
I've cleared out most of the .dm files in code/game/objects/ and put it into appropriate files/folders. The stuff I've left is stuff I believe may conflict with carn's work and some code for stuff that does not have a home yet.

TODO:
- Files that were left in code/game/objects that may conflict with carns work
- Go through all the files in all the subfolders of code/game/objects.
- Move all the defines from /defines/ to their proper spots

Not much right?
