RoxyandGitHub 9f7dc7c970 [MDB IGNORE] Make /obj/item/stamp abstract, create proper granted stamp subtype (#94139)
## About The Pull Request

There is technically an `/obj/item/stamp/granted` in that one traitor
objective refers to it and tries to override a proc on it thus making it
a valid type, but not really. This changes the base `/obj/item/stamp`
from being the granted stamp to being an abstract type, and creates a
proper subtype for the granted stamp.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Base types being concrete outside of scenarios where its intuitive are
very annoying

itsmeowandGitHub cc335e7e9e IconForge: rust-g Spritesheet Generation (#89478)
## About The Pull Request

Replaces the asset subsystem's spritesheet generator with a rust-based
implementation (https://github.com/tgstation/rust-g/pull/160).

This is a rough port of
https://github.com/BeeStation/BeeStation-Hornet/pull/10404, but it
includes fixes for some cases I didn't catch that apply on TG.

(FWIW we've been using this system on prod for over a year and
encountered no major issues.)

### TG MAINTAINER NOTE

![image](https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/53bd2b44-9bb5-42d2-b33f-093651edebc0)

### Batched Spritesheets

`/datum/asset/spritesheet_batched`: A version of the spritesheet system
that collects a list of `/datum/universal_icon`s and sends them off to
rustg asynchronously, and the generation also runs on another thread, so
the game doesn't block during realize_spritesheet. The rust generation
is about 10x faster when it comes to actual icon generation, but the
biggest perk of the batched spritesheets is the caching system.

This PR notably does not convert a few things to the new spritesheet
generator.

- Species and antagonist icons in the preferences view because they use
getFlatIcon ~~which can't be converted to universal icons~~.
- Yes, this is still a *massive* cost to init, unfortunately. On Bee, I
actually enabled the 'legacy' cache on prod and development, which you
can see in my PR. That's why I added the 'clear cache' verb and the
`unregister()` procs, because it can force a regeneration at runtime. I
decided not to port this, since I think it would be detrimental to the
large amount of contributors here.
- It is *technically* possible to port parts of this to the uni_icon
system by making a uni_icon version of getFlatIcon. However, some
overlays use runtime-generated icons which are ~~completely unparseable
to IconForge, since they're stored in the RSC and don't exist as files
anywhere~~. This is most noticeable with things like hair (which blend
additively with the hair mask on the server, thus making them invisible
to `get_flat_uni_icon`). It also doesn't help that species and antag
icons will still need to generate a bunch of dummies and delete them to
even verify cache validity.
- It is actually possible to write the RSC icons to the filesystem
(using fcopy) and reference them in IconForge. However, I'm going to
wait on doing this until I port my GAGS implementation because it
requires GAGS to exist on the filesystem as well.

#### Caching

IconForge generates a cache based on the set of icons used, all
transform operations applied, and the source DMIs of each icon used
within the spritesheet. It can compare the hashes and invalidate the
cache automatically if any of these change. This means we can enable
caching on development, and have absolutely no downsides, because if
anything changes, the cache invalidates itself.

The caching has a mean cost of ~5ms and saves a lot of time compared to
generating the spritesheet, even with rust's faster generation. The main
downside is that the cache still requires building the list of icons and
their transforms, then json encoding it to send to rustg.

Here's an abbreviated example of a cache JSON. All of these need to
match for the cache to be valid. `input_hash` contains the transform
definitions for all the sprites in the spritesheet, so if the input to
iconforge changes, that hash catches it. The `sizes` and `sprites` are
loaded into DM.

```json
{
	"input_hash": "99f1bc67d590e000",
	"dmi_hashes": {
		"icons/ui/achievements/achievements.dmi": "771200c75da11c62"
	},
	"sizes": [
		"76x76"
	],
	"sprites": {
		"achievement-rustascend": {
			"size_id": "76x76",
			"position": 1
		}
	},
	"rustg_version": "3.6.0",
	"dm_version": 1
}
```

### Universal Icons

Universal icons are just a collection of DMI, Icon State, and any icon
transformation procs you apply (blends, crops, scales). They can be
convered to DM icons via `to_icon()`. I've included an implementation of
GAGS that produces universal icons, allowing GAGS items to be converted
into them. IconForge can read universal icons and add them to
spritesheets. It's basically just a wrapper that reimplements BYOND icon
procs.

### Other Stuff

Converts some uses of md5asfile within legacy spritesheets to use
rustg_hash_file instead, improving the performance of their generation.

Fixes lizard body markings not showing in previews, and re-adds eyes to
the ethereal color preview. This is a side effect of IconForge having
*much* better error handling than DM icon procs. Invalid stuff that gets
passed around will error instead of silently doing nothing.

Changes the CSS used in legacy spritesheet generation to split
`background: url(...) no-repeat` into separate props. This is necessary
for WebView2, as IE treats these properties differently - adding
`background-color` to an icon object (as seen in the R&D console) won't
work if you don't split these out.

Deletes unused spritesheets and their associated icons (condiments
spritesheet, old PDA spritesheet)

## Why It's Good For The Game

If you press "Character Setup", the 10-13sec of lag is now approximately
0.5-2 seconds.

Tracy profile showing the time spent on get_asset_datum. I pressed the
preferences button during init on both branches. Do note that this was
ran with a smart cache HIT, so no generation occurred.

Much lower worst-case for /datum/asset/New (which includes
`create_spritesheets()` and `register()`)

Here's a look at the internal costs from rustg - as you can see
`generate_spritesheet()` is very fast:

FazzieandGitHub 9087058694 Makes the Clown Stamp give out clown cells (#83585)
## About The Pull Request

This PR makes it so swabbing the clown's stamp also gives clown cells
for Cytology.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Right now for these cell lines you either need to swab the clown's
shoes, clothes or mask - items that many clowns won't be too happy to
part with, even if for a few seconds. Furthermore it means you only get
3 tries to get the cell line you want, alongside having a chance of
having all of the cell lines rather than just two (making the process a
lot more harder if i does happen).

Letting the stamp give out cells both makes getting a single petri dish
faster ("Clown give me the stamp" "K") but also means if you're going
for one specific cell line you have more chances to get it, making the
whole process of getting experimental clowns faster and more reliable
overall.

## Why It's Good For The Game

MrMelbertandGitHub 4de3df461e [MDB Ignore] Adds a unit test for typepaths that are required to be mapped onto each station map (#74985)
## About The Pull Request

Inspired by #74967 and #68459 , and the fact that Tramstation regresses
very often -

Adds a unit test, `required_map_items`, which ensures that certain
typepaths which should definitely be mapped onto every map is mapped
onto every map

It can also be used to ensure that items which should not be mapped in
multiple times are not, among other things.

I included a few examples -
- Min 1, max inf of each head of staff stamps
- Min 1, max 1 departmental order consoles
- Min 1, max inf comms console
- Min 1, max 1 Pun Pun
- Min 1, max 1 Poly
- Min 1, max 1 Ian

If, in the future, a mapper decides they (for some reason) do not want a
certain previously-required item on their map, the test can be adjusted
such that it allows excluding or something, but currently it should be
for items which require conscious thought about.

#### QA: Why not make this a linter?

I attempted to make this a linter before realizing two things
1. Someone might make a spawner which spawns the items, or they might
get placed in a locker, in any case this accounts for everything on init
2. Linters run on every map, non-station maps included

So I went with a test

ArcaneMusicandGitHub f2fd69a49a Minerals have been refactored so costs and minerals in items are now in terms of mineral defines. (#75052)
Ladies, Gentlemen, Gamers. You're probably wondering why I've called you
all here (through the automatic reviewer request system). So, mineral
balance! Mineral balance is less a balance and more of a nervous white
dude juggling spinning plates on a high-wire on his first day. The fact
it hasn't failed after going on this long is a miracle in and of itself.

This PR does not change mineral balance. What this does is moves over
every individual cost, both in crafting recipes attached to an object
over to a define based system. We have 3 defines:

`sheet_material_amount=2000` . Stock standard mineral sheet. This being
our central mineral unit, this is used for all costs 2000+.
`half_sheet_material_amount=1000` . Same as above, but using iron rods
as our inbetween for costs of 1000-1999.
`small_material_amount=100` . This hits 1-999. This covers... a
startlingly large amount of the codebase. It's feast or famine out here
in terms of mineral costs as a result, items are either sheets upon
sheets, or some fraction of small mats.

Shout out to riot darts for being the worst material cost in the game. I
will not elaborate.

Regardless, this has no functional change, but it sets the groundwork
for making future changes to material costs much, MUCH easier, and moves
over to a single, standardized set of units to help enforce coding
standards on new items, and will bring up lots of uncomfortable balance
questions down the line.

For now though, this serves as some rough boundaries on how items costs
are related, and will make adjusting these values easier going forward.

Except for foam darts.

I did round up foam darts.

Adjusting mineral balance on the macro scale will be as simple as
changing the aforementioned mineral defines, where the alternative is a
rats nest of magic number defines. ~~No seriously, 11.25 iron for a foam
dart are you kidding me what is the POINT WHY NOT JUST MAKE IT 11~~

Items individual numbers have not been adjusted yet, but we can
standardize how the conversation can be held and actually GET SOMEWHERE
on material balance as opposed to throwing our hands up or ignoring it
for another 10 years.

RedBaronFlyerandGitHub 39154adf37 Adds a stamp sound effect when stamping papers (#72367)
## About The Pull Request

This pull request adds a .ogg file of a stamp stamping a paper, a
playsound function for stamping a paper, stamping a paper while blind,
and stamping yourself in the head to commit suicide.

In addition, it modifies the attributions.txt file to include credits to
the creator of the stamp noise.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Most item interactions tend to have a sound effect that plays. Putting
most items down, throwing them, cutting certain items with the knife,
scanning bounty cubes, putting a destination tag on a package, etc. all
play sounds, which makes it a bit odd that stamping papers doesn't. This
PR adds audio feedback to stamping papers.

twilightwandererandGitHub d1c56cb27a Photocopier paperforms fix (#69005)
Fixes #65831

In this PR I added a system of pre-prepared paper forms for the printer. This system worked for a while and because of security problems in the papers was completely broken by quick fixes to the holes. I did not try to fix the forms, because at the time because of the broken papers it was pointless, and I decided to wait until the code papers are fully recycled. Waiting for a fix, I rewrote the config and now the system blanks again normally print forms. In addition, this fix allowed to bring the configuration of the forms in a more readable form.

As a bonus, I decided to add a "VOID" stamp. I was going to do it back when the system of forms was introduced, but because the stamps at the time did not work properly I did not do it.

Watermelon914andGitHub 375a20e49b Refactors most spans into span procs (#59645)
Converts most spans into span procs. Mostly used regex for this and sorted out any compile time errors afterwards so there could be some bugs.
Was initially going to do defines, but ninja said to make it into a proc, and if there's any overhead, they can easily be changed to defines.

Makes it easier to control the formatting and prevents typos when creating spans as it'll runtime if you misspell instead of silently failing.
Reduces the code you need to write when writing spans, as you don't need to close the span as that's automatically handled by the proc.

(Note from Lemon: This should be converted to defines once we update the minimum version to 514. Didn't do it now because byond pain and such)

In places where item_color was used as the worn overlay it was removed and instead now icon_state is always used as the clothing overlay.

A new mob_overlay_icon var was added for manually setting where the mob overlay icon path is for specific items.

Moved some mob overlay files relating to clothing to their own directory as well for organization purposes.

Totally refactors washing machines, instead of the horrible abortion that was iterating through the typepath it now uses a registry of dye results.

Some bonus functionality to come out of this:
the washing machine now supports arbitrary dye colors.
Why It's Good For The Game

It's been 4 years since the "this should be deprecated soonish" comment was added, and this var is a shitpile of confusion if you just trace the usage of it.

vuonojenmustaturskaandoranges 1eccbcca18 Adds an EMP protection component, allowing ANYTHING to be protected from EMP (#37671)
The component is initialized with any combination of three flags, EMP_PROTECT_SELF protects against effects that target the object itself, EMP_PROTECT_WIRES protects against wires being messed with similar to the NO_EMP_WIRES_1 flag which this PR removes, EMP_PROTECT_CONTENTS protects against things that are inside the object like organs, internal "non-virtual" power cells and the like

This enables (but doesn't introduce) new mechanics such as adding EMP shielding at runtime to any atom, or taking it away.

Official and Clown costumes. They can also buy a defective chameleon
kit.

It's funny. Other costume ideas welcome.

    Also merges two Initializes in camo guns
    Centcom Inspector outfit does have a Centcom headset, but it has no encryption chips. The outfit also is missing an egun.
    Removes the "Stealthy" description from camo shoes in the nuke op uplink they buy the same damn shoes, they're just more expensive for immersive and plausible reasons.

🆑 coiax
add: Chameleon clothing produced by the syndicate has been found to
react negatively to EMPs, randomly switching forms for a time.
/🆑

- EMPing them when they're in the box is fine, but when they're being
worn, the game slows down a LOT, which I assume is the constant spamming
of the regenerate_icons() proc on the mob every time the chameleon
clothes change, which if they're wearing all 10 of them, that's a lot of
redundant calls.

* EMPed camoclothing no longer causes lag

Cheridan bb9c09df46 Obsoletes flags = FPRINT | TABLEPASS*
*TABLEPASS was already totally obsolete.
FPRINT was used, but it was on virtually everything anyway.

Removes those flags from every instance where they were used. Also assigned and removed other flags where it made sense.

If it is desired, I can revive the flag as NOFPRINT, which would retain the original functionality, though inverted. That way it would be be used only where it was intentional (holodeck items could use this for example).

baloh.matevz@gmail.com 5bb06b184c - Added a killswitch to the master controller for air processing and pipe processing, accessible through two toggle-verbs in debug verbs.
- Added a verb that breaks all airgroups into individually processing tiles and a verb that forces a group-rejoin attempt on all airgroups. Once the verb to break all air groups is used, they will not attempt to recreate until the recreate verb is used. In other words, this is for debugging, not goofing around. Verbs available in debug verbs.
- Some atmos code standardization
- Decreased the pressure resistance of most items by a factor of 10, meaning pressure will finally actually move items around!

I also attempted to speed up air movement, but it caused runtimes and everything moved in checkered patterns and I got scared so I didn't include it in this commit.
