MrMelbert 43f1a52223 Removes some boilerplate from transforming component (#75998)
## About The Pull Request

Removes some boilerplate from transforming component, uses traits in a
similar way to the two-handed component

Also fixes #74955 (If it's still broken?)

## Why It's Good For The Game

Makes it a bit cleaner to work with. Cause I wanna do something with
this in the future maybe.

## Changelog

Ghom 88b898dffd Stops shields getting broken by pillows and disablers. (#75759)
## About The Pull Request
See the title. Doing so by adding a new arg for damage type to
`check_shields()` and `hit_reaction()`. The other way would had involved
a couple istype checks for item or projectile damage type, but this is a
longer term solution and can tackle more than just that.

## Why It's Good For The Game
Fixes #74876.

DrTuxedo a4822c165b Now blocking is more noticeable! New blocking and parrying sounds (#74998)
## About The Pull Request
Now whenever an attack is blocked, the sound will play and deflection
with the item now plays sound too:

https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/42353186/1a0cc5b7-f2af-4d72-88d7-57cc11f5baa3

The parry.ogg was updated to a better-sounding one

https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/42353186/5ffc53d8-0b3c-4e6b-9256-b7b9735918bc

Every item now has a "block_sound" that can be set, it determines what
sound is played when you block an attack with it.
Cult items no longer have their own way of fuckery to play parry sounds,
now they use this system as well.

Now shield bash sound is 80% smaller after cutting out all of its noise
and silence.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Adds feedback on whether the attack was blocked or not, signalling both
to the attacker and defender that it didn't go through even if the
animation played, which is a great QoL. Same with the deflection sound
(although deflection is still pretty visible, the sound would not hurt)

New sounds add more flavour to the weapons, especially the energy sword,
giving it even more badassery.

Cutting down the noise from the shield bash sound has made it better to
listen and saved some kilobytes of information. And making every item
use the universal system for blocking sounds, removing cultist items'
own code for playing parrying sounds.
## Changelog

ArcaneMusic f2fd69a49a Minerals have been refactored so costs and minerals in items are now in terms of mineral defines. (#75052)
Ladies, Gentlemen, Gamers. You're probably wondering why I've called you
all here (through the automatic reviewer request system). So, mineral
balance! Mineral balance is less a balance and more of a nervous white
dude juggling spinning plates on a high-wire on his first day. The fact
it hasn't failed after going on this long is a miracle in and of itself.

This PR does not change mineral balance. What this does is moves over
every individual cost, both in crafting recipes attached to an object
over to a define based system. We have 3 defines:

`sheet_material_amount=2000` . Stock standard mineral sheet. This being
our central mineral unit, this is used for all costs 2000+.
`half_sheet_material_amount=1000` . Same as above, but using iron rods
as our inbetween for costs of 1000-1999.
`small_material_amount=100` . This hits 1-999. This covers... a
startlingly large amount of the codebase. It's feast or famine out here
in terms of mineral costs as a result, items are either sheets upon
sheets, or some fraction of small mats.

Shout out to riot darts for being the worst material cost in the game. I
will not elaborate.

Regardless, this has no functional change, but it sets the groundwork
for making future changes to material costs much, MUCH easier, and moves
over to a single, standardized set of units to help enforce coding
standards on new items, and will bring up lots of uncomfortable balance
questions down the line.

For now though, this serves as some rough boundaries on how items costs
are related, and will make adjusting these values easier going forward.

Except for foam darts.

I did round up foam darts.

Adjusting mineral balance on the macro scale will be as simple as
changing the aforementioned mineral defines, where the alternative is a
rats nest of magic number defines. ~~No seriously, 11.25 iron for a foam
dart are you kidding me what is the POINT WHY NOT JUST MAKE IT 11~~

Items individual numbers have not been adjusted yet, but we can
standardize how the conversation can be held and actually GET SOMEWHERE
on material balance as opposed to throwing our hands up or ignoring it
for another 10 years.

	for (var i = 0; i < fileLines.Length; i++)
	{
		var line = fileLines[i];
		if (line.StartsWith("/datum/armor/"))
		{
			var armorName = line.Replace("/datum/armor/", "").Trim();
			if (!known.ContainsKey(armorName))
				known[armorName] = new List<KeyValuePair<string, int>>();
			var knownList = known[armorName];
			knownList.Add(new KeyValuePair<string, int>(file, i));
		}
	}
}

Console.WriteLine($"There are {known.Sum(d => d.Value.Count)} duplicate armor datums.");

var duplicates = new Dictionary<string, List<int>>();
foreach (var (_, entries) in known)

GuillaumePrata 71b63d9233 Moves the bulk of shield code from the riot subtype into the core shield. (#71066)
## About The Pull Request
I wanted to "rework" the riot shield security has but most other shields
are subtypes of it, making them all inherit those features.
So I made this PR first to make my job easier and fix some odd bugs like
fixing wooden bucklers by slapping them with titanium sheets...

There *shouldn't* be any other big change outside of the titanium
healing and baton bashing they all inherited but I have been staring at
shield code and worked on another branch before deciding to split the
code improvement/fixes from the features so I might have missed
something.

And while there, kill some single letter vars, remove unnecessary lines,
etc.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Fixing a wooden shield by slapping it with titanium is weird... so is
fixing a glass+iron shield but that is a bigger balance change.

And well, easier for future shield changes to not inherit weird
behaviors from the riot shield.
## Changelog

AnturK 4d6a8bc537 515 Compatibility (#71161)
Makes the code compatible with 515.1594+

Few simple changes and one very painful one.
Let's start with the easy:
* puts call behind `LIBCALL` define, so call_ext is properly used in 515
* Adds `NAMEOF_STATIC(_,X)` macro for nameof in static definitions since
src is now invalid there.
* Fixes tgui and devserver. From 515 onward the tmp3333{procid} cache
directory is not appened to base path in browser controls so we don't
check for it in base js and put the dev server dummy window file in
actual directory not the byond root.
* Renames the few things that had /final/ in typepath to ultimate since
final is a new keyword

And the very painful change:
`.proc/whatever` format is no longer valid, so we're replacing it with
new nameof() function. All this wrapped in three new macros.
`PROC_REF(X)`,`TYPE_PROC_REF(TYPE,X)`,`GLOBAL_PROC_REF(X)`. Global is
not actually necessary but if we get nameof that does not allow globals
it would be nice validation.
This is pretty unwieldy but there's no real alternative.
If you notice anything weird in the commits let me know because majority
was done with regex replace.

@tgstation/commit-access Since the .proc/stuff is pretty big change.

Mothblocks 0f3c4e51f7 Modernizing Radiation -- TL;DR: Radiation is now a status effect healed by tox healing, and contamination is removed (#62265)
Implements the Modernizing radiation design document ( https://hackmd.io/@tgstation/rJNIyeBHt ) and replaces the current radiation sources with the new system, as well as replacing/removing a bunch of old consumers of radiation that either had no reason to exist, or could be replaced by something else.

Diverges from the doc in that items radiation don't go up like explained. I was going to, but items get irradiated so easily that it just feels pretty lame. Items still get irradiated, but it's mostly just so that radiation sources look cooler (wow, lots of stuff around going green), and for things like the geiger counter.

Instead of the complicated radiation_wave system, radiation now just checks everything between the radiation source and the potential target, losing power along the way based on the radiation insulation of whats in between. If this reaches too low a point (specified by radiation_pulse consumers), then the radiation will not pass. Otherwise, will roll a chance to irradiate. Uranium structures allow a delay before irradiating, so stay away!

MrMelbert b3e8eebdc9 Kills /obj/item/melee/transforming, replaces it with a transforming weapon component (#60761)
This PR kills off the transforming subtype of /obj/item/melee and replaces it with a component to handle the transforming behavior, /datum/component/transforming.

The transforming component handles updating the variables of an item when it's transformed. Things like force, sharpness, whetstone force bonus, and attack verbs. Similar to the two-handed component, but instead of transforming into a two-hander it remains a one handed weapon.

The "nemesis" behavior (dealing addition damage to certain factions) of the transforming subtype was moved to the cleaving saw only, since it was the only transforming item that used it. In the future, this can be made into a bespoke element/component as well.

The following weapons and items have been updated to use this component:

    Energy Swords / Sabers / Bananium Energy Sword
    Energy Circular Saw
    Energy Dagger
    Energy Axe
    Toy Energy Sword
    Holographic Energy Sword
    Switchblade
    Advanced Medical Tools (Laser scalpel, Mechanical Pinches, Searing Tool)
    Advanced Engineering Tools (Hand Drill, Jaws of Life / Syndicate Jaws of Life)
    Combat Wrench
    Cleaving Saw
    Telescopic Batons / Contractor Batons
    Roasting Stick
    Telescopic Riot Shield
    Energy Shield / Bananium Energy Shield

This PR also touches up the code around the various above items.

Watermelon914 375a20e49b Refactors most spans into span procs (#59645)
Converts most spans into span procs. Mostly used regex for this and sorted out any compile time errors afterwards so there could be some bugs.
Was initially going to do defines, but ninja said to make it into a proc, and if there's any overhead, they can easily be changed to defines.

Makes it easier to control the formatting and prevents typos when creating spans as it'll runtime if you misspell instead of silently failing.
Reduces the code you need to write when writing spans, as you don't need to close the span as that's automatically handled by the proc.

(Note from Lemon: This should be converted to defines once we update the minimum version to 514. Didn't do it now because byond pain and such)

Mothblocks 0f435d5dff Remove hideous inline tab indentation, and bans it in contributing guidelines (#56912)
Done using this command sed -Ei 's/(\s*\S+)\s*\t+/\1 /g' code/**/*.dm

We have countless examples in the codebase with this style gone wrong, and defines and such being on hideously different levels of indentation. Fixing this to keep the alignment involves tainting the blames of code your PR doesn't need to be touching at all. And ultimately, it's hideous.

There are some files that this sed makes uglier. I can fix these when they are pointed out, but I believe this is ultimately for the greater good of readability. I'm more concerned with if any strings relied on this.

About The Pull Request

Converts every single usage of playsound's vary parameter to use the boolean define instead of 1 or 0. I'm tired of people copypasting the incorrect usage.
Also changes a couple of places where a list was picked from instead of using get_sfx internal calls

This was done via regex:
(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)1( ?\)| ?,.+\)) to match 1
(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)0( ?\)| ?,.+\)) to match 0
full sed commands:
/(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)1( ?\)| ?,.+\))/\1TRUE\2/ 1 to TRUE
/(playsound\(.+,.+,.+, ?)0( ?\)| ?,.+\))/\1FALSE\2/ 0 to FALSE

I'm not very good with regex and these could probably be optimized, but they worked.

XDTM 5a08a3aad0 Extends the disability refactor to include more traits, removing some snowflake code (#34664)
This way you can add/remove traits without fear of other sources overriding them. Now you can add TRAIT_STUNIMMUNE to somebody without what if hulk

Notable changes:

    Fakedeath now updates instantly, instead of waiting for the next life tick.
    Fakedeath now sets time of death when acquired.
    Removed extremely snowflake code in reagents that checked if you had morphine to remove slow immunity and so on.
    Hulk no longer overrides status_flag changes, in case there are any.
