nikothedude 4ae9d2c934 Partially reverts #4614, leaving record defaults but separating exploitables and security (#5560)
## About The Pull Request

Partially reverts #4614.

Exploitables, background, and security are now separate.
## Why It's Good For The Game

This was never a good change. Exploitables and sec records hold
completely separate purposes. Sec should not see every single
exploitable node you have, basically. Additionally, some people have
stuff in their exploitables and background they cant access right now.
Exposing them again lets people retrieve them.

John Willard aa4dc56835 Removes Station-time (more time changes) (#95744)
## About The Pull Request

Removes Station-Time entirely
Server Time is now NST (Nanotrasen Standard Time). SS13 takes place
exactly 540 years in the future of the current day, so every second is 1
second in-game.
Round Time is now PT (Pay-Time), how Nanotrasen keeps track of how long
the current rotation of Employees has been working for.

Telecomms uses NST due to its importance of being the communication to
the blackbox.

Autopsy report, clocks, scientific reports and requisitions use both
timestamps due to them being more official documents that NT may need to
know beyond just the current round (just for flavortext).

Pretty much everything else (Det scanner, PDA, IC logs, Time-of-Death,
AI law changes, Cyborg file downloading) uses PT

PT

# Other changes

1. Circuit time checker will now get the value of the given input (Hour,
Minute, Second) rather than the full dedisecond time converted into
hour/minutes/seconds

<img width="270" height="67" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/097440cc-1c45-447f-9976-18de7f9c722c"
/>

2. Turns nightshift into a round event that'll last approximately 22
minutes
3. 12-hour pref (doesn't apply to the stat panel because it's global
info) & removal of "TCT" time

<img width="569" height="440" alt="image"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/d39083b1-d248-41c0-9a1c-b2398ca203a7"
/>

4. The chocolate pudding negative moodlet is now based on the server's
IRL time.
5. Admins can now use ``class``, ``style`` and ``background`` (they were
already given perms to use ``img`` so hiding background, which was
removed to prevent image embedding, is pointless)
6. Also fixes ``year`` being off on localhost.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Server Time is approximately 1s = 12s converted, not including it
desyncing from lag (I believe?).
This makes it pretty much impossible for people to actually use this as
a unit of measurement for in-game actions.
Different things also uses different timestamps which is a bit more
confusing.

The main change here is for accessibility and, hopefully, using time as
a source of immersion. "20 minutes ago" is no longer OOC, they're just
speaking in PT. There's no timezones in space, Nanotrasen Standard Time
is the closest there is, but Pay Time is how NT considers when you get
your paychecks, so it's what is more commonly used.

It also fixes major inconsistencies between "IC time" and "Station
time", things like breakfast moodlet was the first 15mins of the round
despite the round starting like 7 hours in? Nukies with an L6 SAW firing
down the halls was shooting like 1 bullet every 3 seconds (assuming 4
bullets per second), overall there was just a disconnect between how
long time actually is in the universe.

The secondary reason for this change (though it is what pushed me to
actually get around to making this change) is the greater stat-panel
removal. This hopes to lessen the dependence on the stat panel for
station-time by making it easier to understand, and the end-goal I have
is for this information to be limited to Admins & the AI (AI will get
the IC version with the accurate year), so until that happens I would
like to improve the use of station-time by making it consistent (for
example, you should only care for PT for IC, which is also what your PDA
displays), so that when it gets removed it won't leave players timeless.

If you haven't already, and is interested in helping remove the stat
panel, every entry that needs to be removed can be found here -

Closes https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/issues/94988

## Changelog

🆑
del: Removed Station Time, now we use NST (Nanotrasen Standard Time),
which is IRL server time +540 years, and PT (Pay Time), the amount of
time since the round has started.
del: Station nightshift is now a Station event rather than being based
on Server time.
balance: Time circuit's Unit of Measure now tells the amount of time in
hour/minute/seconds rather than giving the whole time translated to
hours/minutes/seconds.
qol: Added a 12-hour clock pref for people who prefer it.
qol: Hovering over NST timestamps on official documents will now
translate how much it is in PT/Shift Time.
admin: Admins can now use style/class/background in their papercode.

Leland Kemble 68f5a555d0 Nonbinary people can respawn (#95854)
## About The Pull Request

locked records(admin-only records) now use the `gender` variable to keep
the mob's actual gender, not resorting to "Other". This means that
nonbinary people are once again capable of being respawned. As locked
records are admin-only, and used in few other locations, the gender
variable is only accessed by respawning code at the moment, and should
never be accessed in a player-facing manner, so it doesn't matter that
plural & neuter are in there.

Return b5aa4f649b [Records rework] Creates defaults for all records (#4614)
## About The Pull Request
This PR does four things:
- Shortens and simplifies the medical records template, making it more
accessible
- Expands Security records flavor into a personnel file that includes
exploitables and your character's background, so that you can have
Security records without having a criminal history
- Creates defaults for medical records, general records, and Security
records in the character creator, rather than just the wiki.
- Removes exploitables and background records as they've now been
integrated into Security records.

## Why It's Good For The Game
This PR should make records more accessible for individual players by
reducing the amount of work involved, as well as expanding Security
records to be more useful.

SmArtKar d841c9df40 [MDB IGNORE] Blood Refactor Chapter 2: Collector's Edition (#91054)
Refactors most of blood handling code untouched by #90593 and completely
rewrites all blood decals, components and reagents.

- Blood types now have behavioral flags which allow them to control
where they leave decals/DNA/viruses. Oil no longer transfers DNA and
viruses with it, while podpeople water-blood doesn't leave visible
decals on turfs and items, but still can be picked up by DNA scanners.
- Multiple blood types have received unique handling - liquid
electricity blood now glows in the dark, oil trails are flammable and
lube ones are slippery. Oil blood can be restored with fuel, lube with
silicon and slime with stable plasma (as normal plasma already passively
regenerates their blood), instead of everything using iron. Saline
solution only supplements on iron-based blood and won't do anything to
help with bloodloss for species who rely on different blood types.
(Roundstart this applies only to Ethereals)
- All blood logic has been moved away from the blood reagent itself into
a blood element that is assigned to the blood reagent by default, and to
any reagent that's drawn from a mob as their "blood" (in
``transfer_blood_to``). This means that blood you draw from lizards will
be green and have lizard's blood description instead of mentioning red
blood cells, Ethereal "blood" will actually contain their DNA and genes,
etc.
- Refactored all blood decals. Blood states are no more, everything is
now handled via blood DNA. Credits to MrMelbert and Maplestation, as a
significant amount of code has been taken from
https://github.com/MrMelbert/MapleStationCode/pull/436 and many of his
followup PRs. Oil and xenomorph splatters are now subtypes of blood,
blood drying is now animated, blood trails now curve and can be
diagonal.
- Rewrote bloodysoles and bloody_spreader components, credits to Melbert
again for the former, while latter now makes more sense with its
interactions. Bloody soles no longer share blood DNA with your hands.
- Ported Melbert's bloody footprint sprites and bot-blood-spreading
functionality.
- Removed all species-side reagent interactions, instead they're handled
by said species' livers. (This previously included exotic blood
handling, thus the removal)
- Slightly optimized human rendering by removing inbetween overlay
holders for clothing when they're not needed.
- Blood-transmitted diseases will now get added to many more decals than
before.
- Cleaned up and partially refactored replica pods, fixed an issue where
monkeys/manipulators were unable to harvest mindless pods.
- Exotic bloodtype on species now automatically assigns their blood
reagent, without the need to assign them separately.
- Clown mobs now bleed (with colorful reagent instead of blood during
april fools), and so do vatbeasts (lizard blood)
- Implemented generic procs for handling bleeding checks, all sorts of
scanners now also correctly call your blood for what it is.
- Podpeople's guts are now lime-green like their organs, instead of
being weirdly greyish like their water-blood. (Their bleeding overlays
are still grey, as they're bleeding water)
- Slimepeople now can bleed. Their jelly is pale purple in color, but
their wound overlays copy their body color.
- Injecting/spraying/splashing/etc mob with a reagent preserves its
data, so you could theoretically recycle fine wines from someone's
bloodstream
- Fixed burdened chaplain's sect never actually giving a blessing when
applying effects, and giving a blessing when nothing can be healed.
Inverted check strikes again.

- Closes #91039

A lot of blood here has dried, visually the blood colors are almost
exactly the same as before either of the blood refactors.

## About The Pull Request

This PR:

- Converts all of the blood types into their own datums, which can be
set up to have their own colors, descriptions, and other fun unique
properties. For example, the clown blood that is constantly randomizing
itself.

- Converts all the blood decals into greyscale, which in turn eliminates
the need for separate xeno sprites. They both use the same ones now.

- Audit of blood splatters/gibs/bodyparts/organs to make sure that they
are getting the correct forensic data applied to them.

- For the admins: Adds a clown blood smite.

My primary goal with was to make the appearance of the new sprites look
almost indistinguishable to the original ones.

I consider this a "first pass", as in there are still some further
refactors I would like to do on the backend side, but am satisfied with
it enough to push it forward as a first step towards a better blood
system! I didn't want to do too much at once because of A) fatigue and
B) easier to test things to make sure I'm not breaking something
important this way.

This has been test-merged on Nova for over a week now and has been going
great, so I finally got around to upstreaming the bones to TG. Although
I did test it a bit you may want to TM it just in case I missed some
things when copying it over.

Bloop 3d01e86e29 There will be (colorful) blood: datumizes bloodtypes, greyscales blood sprites, and fixes a lot of inconsistencies with gibs and forensic data (#90593)
## About The Pull Request

This PR:

- Converts all of the blood types into their own datums, which can be
set up to have their own colors, descriptions, and other fun unique
properties. For example, the clown blood that is constantly randomizing
itself.

the need for separate xeno sprites. They both use the same ones now.

- Audit of blood splatters/gibs/bodyparts/organs to make sure that they
are getting the correct forensic data applied to them.

- For the admins: Adds a clown blood smite.

    Fix hot spring runtime related to duplicate elements (#90555)

    If something is mapped to spawn in on a hot spring tile, the tile will
    add the immerse element in `/turf/open/water/Entered` before
    `Initialize` runs, and when it does there's no check if the element has
    already been added, unlike other spots where the immerse element is
    added. This fixes that by adding a check on the call in `Initialize`.

    Nova Port: RB-MK2 GUI Rework (#5136) (#3481)

    Xenoarch machines cleanup (#3495)

    ## About The Pull Request

    Clean up the code for xenoarch machines some because it made me sad.
    - Changes `attackby`'s to `item_interaction`
    - Keep a list of xenoarch items in contents instead of storing them in
    **an instance of `/obj/item` (yes the abstract concept of an item)**
    - Add context tips for all item interactions and removes that info from
    examine text
    - Switched a list to `static`
    - Add assoc list of `broken_item` types to reward pools instead of
    having a nightmare ladder of `istype` checks

    [FIX?] - Brings robotic brain surgery in line with organic brain sugery/lobotomy after the recent update (#3486)

    ## About The Pull Request
    As title!
    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    I originally opened this as an issue because I wasn't sure if this was
    intended, it's why I labeled it as [FIX?]
    Currently organic brain surgery heals the previous tiers of traumas as
    well which makes sure there's no leftover traumas left and also removes
    the RNG re-roll, applying a status effect instead. This PR brings the
    robotic surgery/lobotomy in line with the organic one in a few ways:

    1. Robotic blessed lobotomy now requires holy water as well (just like
    organic)
    2. Fix posibrain surgery now cures TRAUMA_RESILIENCE_SURGERY traumas as
    well
    3. Reticulate splines surgery now cures TRAUMA_RESILIENCE_SURGERY and
    TRAUMA_RESILIENCE_LOBOTOMY traumas as well
    4. Replaced RNG prob(75) roll with the 15-minute status effect that was
    added to organic brain surgery.

    This should balance/fix the robotic brain surgery to the recent change
    that was done to the organic brain surgery. Only issue is the fact how
    the original surgery was coded: there was no RNG roll for fix posibrain
    surgery, while the normal organic surgery did.
    Please feel free to close this PR if this was an intended feature/there
    are issues with potential balance arguments.
    ## Proof Of Testing
    <details>
    <summary>Screenshots/Videos</summary>
    (It compiles, very simple code just handles surgery steps)
    </details>

    ## Changelog
    🆑 Goku
    balance: Robotic blessed lobotomy now also requires holy water (just
    like the organic surgery)
    balance: Robotic blessed lobotomy requires liquid solder instead of
    Palladium Synthate Catalyst
    fix: Fix posibrain surgery now also cures surgery-tier brain traumas
    balance: Reticulate splines surgery now also cures lower tier brain
    traumas (surgery and lobotomy)
    balance: Replaced advanced robotic brain surgery RNG roll with the
    15-minute vulnerability status effect that was added to organic brain

    Synth brain PDAs now have departmental PDA apps pre-installed (#3463)

    ## About The Pull Request

    Synth brains now start with your department's apps pre-installed. For
    example, Scientist synths now start with NT Science Hub. They also now
    have double the storage space compared to the basic PDA.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    Convenience.
    Also, synth PDAs have sort of existed in a weird limbo where (at least,
    from my point of view having talked to some others) most synth players
    just don't actually use one of the defining features of their race
    because normal PDAs are largely better and more convenient, hopefully
    this change emphasizes their abilities.
    The doubled brain storage space is just so that synth brain PDAs can
    comfortably house whatever programs come with being a dept. head.
    Balance wise, I doubt it will affect anything (what could you even do
    with the extra storage space, short of the dept. head apps? basic crew
    apps fit comfortably on the basic PDA limit, synths can't be emagged for
    expensive syndie apps, and synths can't store files on their brain via
    disks).

    ## Proof Of Testing

    (image taken after I spawned as RD; this is the synth brain PDA)

    [MAPPING]: Change Kilo Station dorms area type from Locker to Dorms. (#3471)

    ## About The Pull Request
    Makes sure Kilo Station's dorms area actually is a Dorms area.
    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    Other stations' dorms are inside actual Dorms areas, effectively
    granting protection from events like sudden brain trauma/heart attack,
    but Kilo Station didn't have this, they were classified as lockers
    instead.

    Just a couple more hotel rooms (#3363)

    ## About The Pull Request

    This adds four (and a half) new infinidorm hotel rooms -- A bar themed
    one, for when you want bar RP that's less public; a nightclub themed
    one; an space themed one for the spaceophilliacs who want to bang in
    space (or an airlock), and finally an oasis themed one, with a day and a
    night version.

    It also fixes the lights in the Library room, given we're no longer
    downstreaming from Skyrat, and it adds a template dmm that should make
    it easier for people to add new rooms should they wish - the plaque on
    the floor represents the spawn point.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    This adds even more variety to the infinidorm room options for people to
    roleplay in as a ghost. Or to _roleplay_ in. The bar one in particular
    provides an option for people who want to do a bar RP with some friends
    without getting pesky interruptions from their fellow human beings who
    feel the need to start a gunfight in the bar.

    ## Proof Of Testing

    All the new hotel rooms and the library have been tested in game, and
    are working quite nicely! The template map does not show up as an option
    in-game, as it exists to help mappers.

    Tarkon Tweaks and Xeno Changes (#2896)

    ## About The Pull Request

    Update as of 01/26

    So that was a lie

    Anyways I completely remade tarkon, which is what I ORIGNIALLY wanted to
    do, but used a lot of the pre-existing tarkon assets to do so, to
    maintain the same feel.

    Some NEW NEW features (as the project grew in scope) include:

    Med/RND/Engineering are now separate "Islands" like charlie (tarkon was
    always meant to be like that anyhow
    Each one has a few xenos, and a new "Emergency power generator"
    Scanning this with the new (not a ripoff) Hack-C tool will call in a
    repair drone (Original content) to repair it, and it needs to be
    defended from the xenos it alerts.
    Sucsesfully completing a defence will reward sickass weapons and gear
    you wouldn't normally ever get to see, making further areas easier, and
    a key for the final area.
    Once all 3 keys are obtained, and the areas are re-secured, you can go
    to the boss area and clear out the AI sat / command zone.

    A bitrunning server to allow them to make their own bitden (it's the
    first prototype, and the rest must be researched so it's not
    shift-start)

    more floor safes with various things like some ore thumpers and two
    bluespace beakers

    Crates! Someone misfiled a crate of goodies and it got sent here! These
    orders should be delivered to their owners! I'm sure they would
    appreciate it! Probably...

    A Recycler (Amazing)

    A produce order console! Now you can actually cook whatever you want!
    And it gives you a reason to sell stuff for money!

    more stuff, lots more stuff. things keep getting added the longer it
    takes for this to be looked at.

    Also adds three new variants of xenobio, and two new variants of the
    cargo bay. One cult (we miss you cult), one carp, and a monkey themed
    xenobio.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    Part 1 of my attempt to make tarkon feel better to play. The overall
    gameplay was very "Meta" and didn't really give you any reason to clear
    out xenos or the threats. Who knows what might come next.
    Tarkon was pretty stale. A bit of new stuff might be nice. plus a reason
    to use their shuttle is good.

    Furthermore, tarkon WILL run on solar, so if you REALLY don't want to,
    you don't HAVE to go and clear everything out.

    ## About The Pull Request

    Removes the 60 round Sol drum from being printable in Security

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    After discussing magazine size standardization, this came up and to be
    100% honest, the crew does not need LMG ammo capacity on any of their
    guns. Even though it's illegal contraband to use(yes, Illegal Tech is
    still fuckin' Illegal lol), it's still a lot of ammo capacity that we
    don't really want the crew to have.

    ## Proof Of Testing

    Just deleting a research design.

    [MODULAR] Puts the Sol/Carwo/Romulus/Szot/Trappiste gun magazine sizes in line with /tg/ standards (tiny for everything but rifles which are normal) (#3397)

    ## About The Pull Request

    Puts the Sol/Carwo/Romulus/Szot/Trappiste gun magazine sizes in line
    with /tg/ standards (tiny for everything but rifles which are normal)

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    Size inconsistencies between items results in confused players; it's
    good to keep this sort of thing synced up so that we're not having
    players ask why one pistol magazine fits in a box while another pistol
    magazine doesn't fit in a box when the air tank that's bigger than both
    of them does fit in the box.

    If I find other guns with weird weight classes I'll fix those too.

    ## Proof Of Testing

    Single-line changes, weight classes is a proven working system already.

    Refactor changelog handling to separate files (#3459)

    ## About The Pull Request

    This rewrites how our actions handle changelogs, and rewrites a bunch of
    the changelog TGUI (in a separate file cause I don't feel like
    massacring the upstream one). The gist of it is that our actions will
    now create autochangelog files with bubber in the name, our changelog
    compile will only compile those autochangelogs (not upstream ones if
    they happen to be in there), and the compile will be done into separate
    bubber changelog files in `html/changelogs/bubber_archive`. In game, the
    UI will pull both archive files (upstream and ours) and combine them in
    the changelog list, putting the codebase logo next to each change to
    distinguish which one it's from.

    ~~NOTE: I'm opening this as a draft because I'm going to try and reset
    our tg changelogs and then reapply all our historical changelogs into
    the new bubber archive files, I'm just putting this up now so the code
    can be reviewed and shit~~ done

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    For players this makes it easier to distinguish where a change came
    from, and for developers this means we don't need to worry about
    breaking the changelog when we do an upstream pull, we can completely
    ignore it and just pull everything, and our tg archive files will be 1:1
    with upstream with no shit from us added in.

    Cleans up and reorganizes some of the borg code (#3434)

    ## About The Pull Request
    This PR reorganizes and cleans up some of the borg code and separates
    sprite defines and borg defines once more but this time correctly.

    Also fixes some small bugs with foot steps with chameleon module.

    Moved some borg model specific trait procs into their own file.
    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    Makes it more organized so we don't have one HUGE file containing all
    the sprite defines and borg model code

    ## About The Pull Request

    see title
    if you want to see who made the sprites, follow the accreditation chain:
    https://github.com/CHOMPStation2/CHOMPStation2/pull/9926

    it doesn't fully use all the sprites, because our system here is so much
    clunkier to use - if someone wants they can probably bash out several
    more tail variants by copying and rearranging the existing sprites

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    people wanted them, gushed over them in #suggestions, and then no one
    did anything, so...

    Nerfs super syndicat and makes it no longer a freedom implant. (#3438)

    ## About The Pull Request
    - This PR makes the new syndicat ears item have a 1 minute cool down
    when used and the normal ears have the same thing.

    - This also ports a fix that was done on monkey station:
    https://github.com/Monkestation/Monkestation2.0/pull/6017

    ## Why It's Good For The Game
    - After watching a round on here and getting complaints about this from
    SPLURT I understand now why 20 seconds is too short for such a item like
    this if your gonna be a cat your gonna be a cat for a long while.

    - Also to quote monkey station:
    "It will make the cat not able to bypass any security non-lethal means,
    which in turns mean security won't be forced to lethal them everytime
    they see it."

    ## Proof Of Testing

    Handcuffed people can be buckled to the tram rails.
    If the tram hits them then they will die badly.
    If they're not shockproof and are buckled to a powered rail, it will zap
    them repeatedly for a little bit of damage (but not a lot because you
    probably want them to die from something else).
    Unbuckling someone from a powered rail is also pretty dangerous.

    While doing this I fucked around a bit with how the "is the tram deadly"
    calculation worked because I didn't like how a deadly tram cuts your
    head off but does literally no other damage. Now it pulverises and
    beheads you.

    Job Spawn borgs prioritize linking to the malf AI (#3433)

    ## About The Pull Request

    So there's this little quirk where late join cyborgs will auto link to
    whatever AI has the least cyborgs. This changes that.

    This adds a priority: Malf AI > AI cores

    Also this deletes an unused file I noticed.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    always connect to the malf AI if it's available.

    Having to do lobotomy surgery over and over until you hit the 25% RNG to
    make it successfully go away isn't a good gameplay experience. Better to

    Ethereal Powercell Bugfix (#3420)

    ## About The Pull Request

    Fixes ethereal powercells from 20kj back to 220kj which is what they
    used to be.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    It is what it used to be, and with the present vanilla values you have
    to recharge yourself once every ~5 minutes or so or suffer a huge mood
    debuff. And if you are entombed, you will suffer death after ~10 minutes
    if you do not recharge.

    Reverts "Adds crew monitors to Advanced biotech and lathes" (#3407)

    ## About The Pull Request

    This removes the handheld crew monitor from the medical lathe.

    ## Why It's Good For The Game

    Alright, I just want to start out with all sources of the handheld crew
    monitor after this PR
    - Paramedics spawn with them
    - Blueshield (command only)
    - The medical vendor premium section.
    - Borg upgrades

    Overall while there's been a lot of QOL to the crew monitor which I
    enjoy, it's all gradually made it so deaths are very noticable and often
    times with someone in medical 1 second later running towards an active
    fight to drag corpses away.

    - I think overall we have a sort of medical omnipresence issue,
    especially with an easy research destroying a level of scarcity with the
    hand held crew monitor.

    Anyone can print it if they have the materials and access to the lathe
    versus only a few existing outside of the paramedic starting with them.

    This PR of course is not going to fully tackle it. It's not going to
    stop a paramedic constantly staring at sensors or the medical console
    beeping when someone's in crit. But this aims to get less eyes on
    sensors, mostly the ability for everyone in medical to have a little
    screen to pull out and see the live feed without actively moving to a
    console.

    Overall I think we have this issue (a lot of it being administrative)
    where every single death must be immedietly found and the person revived
    in 10 minutes. This won't fully tackle that, but if the solution is we
    must bloat a ton of antag abilities and items to combat sensors then I
    think we have too many eyes on sensors.

SmArtKar 431bf75d53 Color Code Audition: Human rendering hates me (#89702)
## About The Pull Request

This trainwreck of a PR is (hopefully) a final solution to all rendering
jank stemming from the new filter-based coloring system. I went over
every single instance of RESET_COLOR, either adding KEEP_APART or
rewriting them entirely so they render properly. I've also fixed blood
rendering issues by utilizing alpha filters and adding an abstract
"holder" appearance for worn items, which holds blood overlays on worn
clothing as to avoid coloring it. I've also fixed horrible
inconsistencies with atmos pipe coloring as a result (of getting sucked
down that rabbit hole) and converted all uses of COLOR_VERY_LIGHT_GRAY
in atmos code to ATMOS_COLOR_OMNI to avoid confusion.

MODsuit modules still get colored into MOD unit's color, need to
refactor their rendering for this.

Jacquerel 889268c400 Improved Mulligan Kit (#89740)
## About The Pull Request

Instead of just being the injector, buying the Mulligan now comes as a
box containing the mutation toxin and a "Fake Identity Kit".

The Fake Identity Kit, if used inhand by someone whose name does not
exist in crew records, creates a new identity for you composed of:
- Medical and Crew Records under your new name and appearance
- An Assistant ID Card with your new name
- An additional item which creates an announcement that you have just
arrived on the station as an Assistant, as if you just did that

There's still a couple of ways you can be caught out. I didn't issue a
PDA alongside the ID (maybe I should? not sure) for one thing, and for
another those with expert identification skills (via skillchip) will be
able to tell on close inspection that the ID card was not actually
issued by Nanotrasen.
Also eagle-eyed players might get suspicious if it's announced that you
just got in on the arrival shuttle and they see you four seconds later
in the engineering lobby. Act natural, or wait for the right moment
before triggering the announcement.

## Why It's Good For The Game

The Mulligan Injector is totally useless and nobody buys it.
After this change it's still an extremely niche item that I don't expect
will be purchased _often_ but it at least stands up to scrutiny somewhat
better, and like... gives you an Assistant ID card if that's something
that's valuable for you to have. You could actually use it to try to
become a new person without it being trivially detected by looking at
the computer.
The kit might also have niche usage for admins, who can varedit it to
have different jobs if they want someone to be added to the crew
manifest and get announced, idk.

This PR also by virtue of that I needed it adds functionality that you
can apply the appearance of any atom to a crew manifest entry, in case
some future feature needs us to have a crew manifest entry for a guy
whose photo is of a potted plant or something.

DATA e4682c04a4 Adds a new smite: Retcon, also refactors the temporary_atom component into an atom level proc (#90016)
## About The Pull Request

Adds a new Retcon smite, it makes the person fade out into nothingness
with a configurable timer, deletes their records and reopens their job
slot, as if they were never there at all.

I was also annoyed that to play around with temporary_atom I had to
slowy add a component, and it doesn't really have much of a reason to BE
a component, so I refactored it into an atom level proc called
fade_into_nothing

## Why It's Good For The Game

The smite is useful for when you wanna get rid of someone who had to
leave roundstart and whatnot, on top of just being funny. the refactor
is also good because i can now put that proc on build mode and go to
town.

## About The Pull Request

This PR does a couple of minor things:
Makes the job debug logging a bit easier to follow.
Minorly brings some SSjob code up to code standards, converting proc
names to snake_case and doing some otherm is cleanup.
Refactored some stuff into different procs, updated some comments.

And some major things:
Changes the job assignment logic.
Old behaviour
> Assign dynamic priority roles
> Force one Head of Staff (if possible)
> Assign all AIs
> Assign overflow roles (bugged in 2 ways)
> Shuffle the available jobs list once, at the start of the random job
assignment loop
> Pick and assign random jobs for random players from High prefs down,
with a priority on Head of Staff roles
> Handle everyone that couldn't be assigned a random job

New behaviour
> Assign dynamic priority roles
> Assign all Head of Staff roles to players with High prefs
> If no Head of Staff was made in the above way, force one Head of Staff
(if possible)
> Assign all AIs
> Assign overflow roles (fixed)
> Prioritise and fill unfilled head roles at each job priority pref
level, from High prefs down.
> Build a list of all jobs that each unassigned player could be eligible
for at the above pref level.
> Pick a job from that list at random and assign it to the player.
> Handle everyone that couldn't be assigned a random job.

In reality there should be little impact on overall job assignment, the
code changes read more as semantics. For example, the priority check for
filling Head slots will have the same candidate pool in both old and new
versions, but in the new version we're more clearly saying that Heads
are important and we want to prioritise filling them for the sake of
round progression even though the outcome in new and old is the same.

A key change will lead to an increase in assistants - Overflow fixes.

Currently the code block to do early assignments to the Overflow role
doesn't work - or works but not as you'd expect. The idea was is that
because enabling the Overflow role in the prefs menu is an On/Off toggle
that sets the job to High priority when enabled and prevents any other
High priority pref, players that have the Overflow role enabled will
**always** get it. It's their highest priority job with infinite slots.
So we do a pass right at the start to give everyone with the Overflow
role enabled that role and save us wasting time later on in random job
code giving them that same role but with more work.

The problem is the code for this only assigns the Overflow role to
people with it set to Low priority in their prefs, resulting in log
readouts like:
```
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.469] DEBUG-JOB: DO, Running Overflow Check 1
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.469] DEBUG-JOB: Running FOC, Job: /datum/job/assistant, Level: Low Priority
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.472] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Radioprague, TheirLevel: Medium Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.472] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Caluan, TheirLevel: High Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.473] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Caractaser, TheirLevel: High Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.473] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Apsua, TheirLevel: High Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.475] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Bebrus2, TheirLevel: Medium Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.475] DEBUG-JOB: AC1, Candidates: 0
```
Where nobody gets pre-assigned the overflow role because their prefs are
all set to the High priority from being toggled... Except wait a second,
some people have it at Medium priority when it should just be a No
Role/High Priority Role toggle?

And herein we meet a problem. My hypothesis is that traits and stuff
that change the overflow have allowed players to set the "ordinary"
overflow role of Assistant to Medium and/or Low priority.

This still shows as enabled in the prefs menu, but leads to an outcome
where a player with assistant enabled is assigned Cook instead.
```
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.775] DEBUG-JOB: DO, Running Overflow Check 1
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.775] DEBUG-JOB: Running FOC, Job: /datum/job/assistant, Level: Low Priority
...
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.475] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Bebrus2, TheirLevel: Medium Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
...
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.987] DEBUG-JOB: Running AR, Player: Bebrus2, Job: /datum/job/cook, LateJoin: 0
```

So players with the Overflow job pref set to Low (an unexpected state,
should be disabled or High) would be guaranteed to get that role if none
of the higher priority Head of Staff/AI/Dynamic roles took over via the
bugged "force overflow for people with the pref enabled" proc.

Players with the Overflow job pref set to High would be guaranteed to
get that role if none of the higher priority Head of Staff/AI/Dynamic
roles took over via the random job assignment code giving them their
Highest priority role thanks to the infinite job slots of the Overflow.

And players with the Overflow job pref set to Medium (an unexpected
state, should be disabled or High) would get Assistant if the shuffle
step of the available jobs list put Assisstant before any of the other
jobs they had prefs enabled for at Medium that weren't already filled,
otherwise they'd get another random job.

This code is now changed to ignore the priority the player has set when
looking for people to fill the overflow role. As long as it **is**
enabled, the player will get it unless they're forced into a dynamic
ruleset role (AI when malf rolls) or a Head of Staff role due to their
other prefs (they have RD set to med or low, and no other player has a
Head of Staff at high so they get randomly picked and miss the overflow
role).

This will increase the number of assistants in shifts where their pref
state has Assisstant in the bugged Medium priority, but doesn't change
it for bugged Low and not-bugged High/On priority.

On the other side of the coin, we have how the random jobs are picked.
They're kinda not random, and I noticed this reading the logs then
reading the code.

The list of available jobs to pick from is randomly shuffled - but only
**once**. All players pull from a list of jobs in the same order. So you
end up with a log block like this:
```
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.985] DEBUG-JOB: DO pass, Player: Pierow, Level:3, Job:Botanist
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.985] DEBUG-JOB: Running AR, Player: Pierow, Job: /datum/job/botanist, LateJoin: 0
```

The list is shuffled into an order of something like `list("Scientist",
"Botanist", "Cook", "Sec Officer", ...)` then iterated over for each
player. So every random job selection goes:
> "Does Player1 have Scientist enabled and at the right priority? No?
Okay, Botanist? Yes? You get botanist."
> "Does Player2 have Scientist enabled and at the right priority? No?
Okay, Botanist? Yes? You get botanist."
> "Does Player3 have Scientist enabled and at the right priority? No?
Okay, Botanist has no slots left so we'll remove it from the list. Okay,
Cook? Yes? You get cook."
> "Does Player4 have Scientist enabled and at the right priority? No?
Okay, Cook has no slots left so we'll remove it from the list. Okay, Sec
Officer? ..."

This can lead to stacked individual departments if it gets randomly
rolled to the start of the list in the shuffle, and completely empty
departments if they end up at the end.

On high pop shifts this is probably less of an issue. Player prefs add
noise to this and as departments at the front fill up, those at the back
pick up some of the lower pref players.

But have you ever had a shift where there's just like... No fucking sec
even though there's tons of players? The logging (before I made changes
in this PR) was a bit ass, but my hypothesis there is that sec officer
was shuffled right at the end of the random job list, so every other
department was filled up before sec officers were picked.

To mitigate this, I made the list shuffle every single time the game
picks a random available job for the player. This should lead to a more
balanced selection of available jobs by avoiding situations where the
code is biased towards packing some departments by accident.
## Why It's Good For The Game

Overflow fixes mean people who go to their prefs and see the Overflow
Role is On will all have the same experience - They will be the Overflow
role.

More random random job selection should prevent individual departments
having a jobs be stacked when it would have otherwise been possible for
a more balanced selection but the code unintentially biased random
departments to be overstaffed and understaffed each shift.
## Changelog
🆑
fix: Having the Overflow Role set to On will properly ensure you get
that role at a High priority as intended by the game code.
fix: Job selection is now a little bit more random. Fixes an
unintentional bias in random job assignment that could lead to
feast-or-famine for roles where everyone is assigned one job and nobody
is assigned another job.

that change the overflow have allowed players to set the "ordinary"
overflow role of Assistant to Medium and/or Low priority.

This still shows as enabled in the prefs menu, but leads to an outcome
where a player with assistant enabled is assigned Cook instead.
```
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.775] DEBUG-JOB: DO, Running Overflow Check 1
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.775] DEBUG-JOB: Running FOC, Job: /datum/job/assistant, Level: Low Priority
...
[2024-07-27 09:49:43.475] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job enabled at wrong level, Player: Bebrus2, TheirLevel: Medium Priority, ReqLevel: Low Priority
...
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.987] DEBUG-JOB: Running AR, Player: Bebrus2, Job: /datum/job/cook, LateJoin: 0
```

```
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.985] DEBUG-JOB: DO pass, Player: Pierow, Level:3, Job:Botanist
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.985] DEBUG-JOB: Running AR, Player: Pierow, Job: /datum/job/botanist, LateJoin: 0
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.986] DEBUG-JOB: Running AR, Player: Daddos, Job: /datum/job/botanist, LateJoin: 0
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.986] DEBUG-JOB: Player: Daddos is now Rank: Botanist, JCP:1, JPL:2
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.986] DEBUG-JOB: FOC job filled and not overflow, Player: Bebrus2, Job: /datum/job/botanist, Current: 2, Limit: 2
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.987] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job not enabled, Player: Bebrus2
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.987] DEBUG-JOB: DO pass, Player: Bebrus2, Level:3, Job:Cook
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.987] DEBUG-JOB: Running AR, Player: Bebrus2, Job: /datum/job/cook, LateJoin: 0
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.988] DEBUG-JOB: Player: Bebrus2 is now Rank: Cook, JCP:0, JPL:1
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.988] DEBUG-JOB: FOC player job not enabled, Player: Redwizz
[2024-07-27 09:49:47.988] DEBUG-JOB: FOC job filled and not overflow, Player: Redwizz, Job: /datum/job/cook, Current: 1, Limit: 1
```

## About The Pull Request
"Adds intern tags to job titles if players have low amount of job time
on a job, can be disabled manually in gameplay settings

I have tested it a bit, but as this relies on database information I
suggest testmerging and letting me know of any problems if any arise.

The time necessary to not be eligible for an intern tag is configured by
config and some variables under jobs
This time can depend on department exp, specific job exp, or exp to
unlock a "master" job (usually head position)"

Useroth 2b60c77e55 Yet another mirror batch (#27314)
* A skub-related station trait. Reduced weight of annoyingly frequent neutral traits. (#81388)

## About The Pull Request
This PR introduces a new station trait that lets people choose if they
want to be pro-skub or anti-skub (or neither, really). It works the same
lobby buttons that job-related station traits also use. Depending on
whether you chose to be pro or anti skub, you'll spawn in with a special
box that contains the (bulky) skub and a pro-skub shirt, or an anti-skub
shirt. EDIT: Both also receive a number of stickers to propagate their
causes.

Kudos to @Fikou for coding the lobby buttons to be accessible by any
station trait rather than only job-related ones when you made the
Cargorilla station trait.

Another thing this PR also halves the exaggerated weight of low-cost
traits such as scarves, wallets and glitched PDAs, which I clearly
underestimated.

## Why It's Good For The Game
We've learned that low-cost, high weight traits are a bit of a design
mistake, because they tend to tip the scales toward themselves over and
over and over, leveling the diverseness of the feature and therefore
making it shallow and boring.

Beside, I've been thinking of the popular [skub comic
strip](https://pbfcomics.com/comics/skub/) lately.

## Changelog

and glitched PDAs.

## About The Pull Request:

The hatsune mi-go is now a friendly gold slime mob. This means it won't

keyboard synth on death (you monster.)

## Why It's Good For The Game

So in making my resprited mi-go and subsequent speedmerge, I failed to
realize that there are only 10 possible migo spawnpoints - 5 in snowdin
gateway, 3 on ceres whiteship, and 2 on kilo whiteship. This means at
most eight can exist on anyround, with a decent likelyhood of 0. This,
combined with the fact the hatsune migo is banned from spawning outside
of roundstart locations, along with the fact people seem to love the
thing, made it feel _too_ rare, even for a shiny mob. You still have to
roll the random odds with the life chem or friendly gold slime pools,
but you should actually see them outside of two mutually exclusive space
ruins and a gateway now. Also, they don't try and kill you now, because
it would have been wrong to add a hostile creature to the friendly pool.

`check_access` expects an item, such as an ID card, to... check access.
Not a mob.

We can circumvent this entirely by using `allowed`.

But this has an averse effect in that `allowed` will only check the

So we need to run a separate check of `check_access` for the computer ID

* Adds a photobooth (#82105)

## About The Pull Request

Adds a photobooth machine to the HoP line which can be used to update
your security records photo.
It updates the records of the person's name, which means hiding your
identity and wearing an ID will let you change other people's photos. If
you aren't hiding your identity and are wearing someone else's ID, it
won't update at all because it will be unable to find your record.
There's 2 variants of this machine, one at the HoP line that's tied
behind Law Office access (so Lawyers have an extra thing they can help
out with if no one's available, but maybe it would be better behind
Library access since Curators are our "photographer" role?), and the
Security one that requires Security access.
The Security one has a special feature that it adds a height chart
behind the player.

![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/53777086/c4eb0661-d752-4052-8006-2898af78c528)

This machine is used by either right-clicking on it or by pressing a
button, so the HoP can do it remotely from their line (except on Tram
where it's in the library), and after a few delays it'll update your
records automatically to how you look like.

Emagging the machine will remove its access restrictions but every time
it updates your photos it will spam camera flashing and blind you.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Current security records has no way to change your photo ID, something
that was a feature before it was moved to TGUI. The only alternative is
to fully delete your record and make a new one with a photo and the same
name, but this shares a major issue with the HTML UI: You're immediately
sold out by the fact you have a background. No matter how well you try
to cover your tracks, any security officer looking at records will see
you are the only photo on the manifest that has a background and even a
camera in your hand, which makes it impossible to get away with it
unless security essentially takes pity on you.
This opens up the ability to fully mask yourself in records, finally.

This is also better even for non antagonists because you can now
properly update your photos to match what you look like in the event of
an appearance change or even just a job change, which makes it a benefit
for HoPs who likes to keep records as up-to-date as possible.

* Converts slimes to basic mobs (#82176)

After months of preparation, and further months of work, I am finally
done. Please bear with me, as this is a massive refactor, but I have
already atomized everything I could. This is now ready for review.

General

- The hilbert hotel slimes are now a subtype instead of a varedit.
- The `use_mob_ability` subtree now also accepts non cooldown abilities.
If set_behaviours is set up properly, mobs won't keep continously
triggering it as if it were a 0 second cooldown action. The alternative
would have been turning the slime abilities into cooldown abilities.
- Wrestling off a slime now signs up to the `COMSIG_ATOM_ATTACK_HAND`
signal, instead of being part of attack_hand.
- Adds datum/ai_controller/controller as a fourth, optional argument to
`/datum/ai_behavior/find_hunt_target/valid_dinner()` to make it possible
to access blackboard keys.
- Slimes no longer attack windows if they would accidentally move into
them (when the conditions are met), since random walk behaviour ignores
tiles they can't go in. It was also not worth to keep. Did you know this
was the sole override of `ObjBump()`?
- Examine was made less snowflaky/bespoke. Also added a new element:
`/datum/element/basic_health_examine`, which is a simple bespoke element
that prints out a custom message based on how damaged the basic mob it
is attached to is.
- Slimes only perform knockdown instead of paralysis, as they can attack
more often now, and paralysis is not that fun.
- LAssailant has been removed due being archaic code. To befriend a
slime, you have to spawn a monkey with the slime console, or feed them a
sheet of plasma. Simple grabbing the monkey or stuffing them in
disposals do not work anymore. Slime console spawned monkeys will have a
visible status effect, with pheromones coming off them to make this
clearer.

Actions
- Feeding, reproduction and evolution is no longer a verb.
- Slime feeding is no longer an action button. You have to use right
click, or as previously, mousedrop. Slimes can always unbuckle from mobs
they are attached to.

Hunger

- Instead randomly changing the starvation and max nutrition values
while growing up, evolution costs 200 nutrion. This makes the code more
readable, and behaviour more predictable, while still giving the
intended time between evolving and splitting. As a result, I could also
turn these into defines.
- Added a component that handles doing an effect over time while buckled
to a mob, until the mob dies or you get unbuckled.
- Slimes gained nutrition is no longer randomly multiplied by the damage
config value, but rather gain nutrition equal to twice the damage dealt.
You'll have to eat one monkey to evolve, just as before.
- Slimes do not heal passively. They only heal from eating. It was a
rather miniscule value that did not have much effect.
- Slimes generate electricity from hunger threshold, instead of the
random amount of hunger threshold + 100.

Environment

- Slimes take 15 damage from cold every second, instead of using a
complex formula (that also decreased the damage up to a point?).
- Slimes still heal from burn damage, but this is now set on the damage
coefficient list.
- Slimes instead of getting stunned by the cold, freeze in an ice cube.
BZ instead of setting them unconscious, calls the stasis status effect,
allowing you to safely stash your hungry slimes for later. They also no
longer slow down from the cold, as they are already slowed down by the
damage they get. Conversely they no longer get a speed up from a random
amount of temperature. I could be convinced to readd this either as part
of the basic sensitive component, or a similar one.

AI
- Removed the attacked_stacks system. Slimes will just perform regular
retaliation if you hit them in a harmful manner.
- Slimes now use the pet orders component. They will interrupt their
feeding when given a command by their master.
- Slimes have their own subtrees. I tried to replicate as much as I
could from the old code, dividing ancient code artifacts and intentional
stuff, so there might be some weirdness.
- Slime speech has been almost fully reduced to basic blorbing, as you
can not even understand them anymore, and most of them require the slime
to loop through all of their surroundings.
- Discipline does not have stacks either. Disciplined baby slimes have a
chance to clear their attack and hunt blackboard keys. All slimes will
stop feeding on the target otherwise.
- Since discipline is not a stack, rabidity instead gets removed at a
10% chance per disciplining.
- Slimes faces are a bit more randomly picked now.

- We want to convert all simple animals to basic mobs. Old slime code
was also very strange, and had some systems that have been replicated by
components.
- Slimes fully paralyzing you is not fun at all. Knockdown should give
you a fighting chance when a slime would like to eat you.
- Slimes slow down from the heavy damage they get from the cold, so I
don't think they need extra slowdown, nor do they need to speed up from
warmth, as they are already fast.
- Slimes turning into an icecube instead of becoming paralyzed from the
cold is more fun for the slimes, as they can break out for a few
moments. It is also funny.
- Slimes entering proper stasis from BZ is not just a visual indicator
of a slime that is safe to approach, but also keeps the slimes's hunger
value in check, allowing it to not starve while stopped. They can also
look around and blorble, instead of staring at a black screen, if player
controlled.
- The attack_stack and discipline_stack behaviours were rather
overcomplicated, and the xenobio mains I talked with didn't even know it
was a thing, so I argue it needed simplification.
- The bespoke friendship system of slimes was also too complicated.
Slimes slowly gained levels of trust, and at certain levels commands
costed friendship, and other levels, they did not. The binary friend/not
friend system that everything else in the game uses is much more
sensible.
- Using right click for feeding is much more sensible than using an
action, and then picking someone from a dropdown.
- Slime speech was very soulful but not only did it loop through
everything in sight, you couldn't even understand it unless you spoke
slime. Maybe it can be readded later in a different form.
- Slime's passive healing was miniscule, and having them rely on feeding
is more interesting.

balance: Slimes only stun you for two seconds when they shock you, the

Removes the camera assembly structure middleman between the camera
wallframe and camera machine. All its behavior has been instead moved to
the camera, and I've tried to keep as much of the behavior the same as
before.
This also fixes the issue that camera assemblies had where, upon the
construction being finished, it would move itself into the newly
finished camera machine, therefore taking itself off a wall, therefore
deconstructing itself. This resulted in 2 piece of iron being in each
camera machine (except roundstart ones), and because camera machines
rely on the assembly inside of them for upgrades and such, upgrading
didn't work at all.

I've also made camera nets use defines (not in map) so it's easier to
find a list of them all, and tried to add autodoc comments to nearly
every var in camera code.

Removes copy paste and spaghetti code between structure and machine
camera, thus making it easier to work around with.

* [MDB Ignore] Combines Cargobus consoles with Dept. Order Consoles, freeing all departments of 1 whole tile of space (#82210)

## About The Pull Request

- Departmental orders are now an NTOS app
   - To download, they require `ACCESS_COMMAND`.
   - To use, they require one access from the department.
- This means you cannot order things from not-your-department unless you
have an ID.
- When newly downloading the app, it will prompt a head of staff to
insert an ID, to determine which department to be linked to.

- Changes chat room overlay from the kind that AI uploads use to a new
icon.

- Minor refactors to department order in general.

## Why It's Good For The Game

These two computers are surprising waste spacers for two things which
are tied together.
So why not combine them?

## About The Pull Request

Slimes were supposed to gain the same amount of nutrition as the damage

again by `seconds_between_ticks` a second time. This meant that locally
slimes fed normally, but on the server they got about the third
nutrition they were supposed to, probably due to having more ticks per
second then my machine. This PR fixes that.

## About The Pull Request

Credentials Confirmed
The Birdshot Engineering Revitalization Plan (formerly proposal
Blindfold, now BERP) is a procurement effort to address growing
maintenance liabilities and costs on the Skitter-MDR Class Orbital
Station located in the Spinward Stellar Cluster (SSC, Sector 28-7b).
Over the course of the previous year, ongoing analysis data has provided
vital feedback since the station was once again brought into operation
after 17 years of abandonment; and using this data, 4 options were
outlined for the Blindfold Proposal.
1) Abandonment - No Cost. Operations on Birdshot will cease. 28-7b
operations will be moderately impacted.
2) Procurement - Medium Cost. Replace offending station sections
completely with low-cost, working alternatives. Operational gains in
28-7b expected.
3) Do Nothing - No Cost. Moderate long-term impacts to operations in
28-7b.
4) >>>_Was removed_

Option 2 was selected for BERP. Procurement efforts identified 3
solutions and later narrowed it down to 1. Following the selection
process architects were brought in to draft up low-impact refits to the
designated hulk. 5 selections made it past initial drafting, with 3
ultimately being selected for engineering board review. Penultimately
draft proposal 3 was selected for the project and now awaits engineering
certification. The draft plan is provided on the next page:

Final](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/33048583/441a6ca8-d7e1-4962-82b9-c412393ad73b)

Following board certification, implementation of the plan will be
commenced by 28-7b Nanotrasen Enigneering Corps. (NECs). Construction
time-frame pending Project Foremans review.

## Why It's Good For The Game

Birdshot Engineering is where this whole station began. Back then,
things were going to look closer to Birdboat Station, but that became
looser and more ill-defined as progress was made on the overall station.
While I was satisfied of the decrepit feel of Birdshot Enigneering
initially, I knew that at some point, it would require modification to
better play into Birdshots strengths.

I've had a long laundry list of a roadmap that I've wanted to implement
since the station was added, and this was the top item. Tier Zero.
Problema Numero Uno. You get the idea. This has been a year of drafting,
redrafting, and redrafting everything until it fit Birdshot right. With
this, we're nearly there. I see this being the definitive Engineering
Department for this station for quite some time to come. However, this
is still a draft and some elements are subject to change as I begin to
work out some of the more minor kinks in the draft such as pipe
locations and transit tubes.

Presently Atmospherics is completely rebuilt from the bottom up. There
is more space, enough to do projects, but you'll have to tear down some
windows and walls to gain it. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. You also
have most of the gas distro line outside. I'm a firm believer in
enabling whatever antics ANY lunatic may have. Atmos techs can rest
assured that outside lines are completely reconfigurable (and powered)
enabling some... unique project prospects. You also gained an inside HFR
and Spare burn chamber. Enjoy.

The Engineering Common Areas are now inside the department proper
instead of the satellite treatment in the original implementation.
Security gets an actual outpost and engineers now have a proper office
to file engineering documentation. They say that office colleagues can
form tight bonds so let's see whose is stronger: Purples or Yellows?

The Supermatter Engine is more of an upgrade over the previous model
(Leaky SM is here to stay so deal with it). The room is larger with less
rock, allowing some manner of greater customization, but I believe
engineers will be more than happy to find that they now have a Burn
Chamber of their own. I have zero clue of what they'll do with it, but I
think any enterprising CE will be able to create something that even god
should fear.

Finally we have maint improvements. Nothing really to see here though
maybe there's the beginning of something for the future if you care to
speculate. I couldn't really keep the meandering maint of the previous
rock, so instead we now have some pseudo dead-ends. It's all connected
by transit tubes to the north (not shown) so you can slowly get around
if you will it. Of course there's plenty of cut-throughs,
not-so-finished sections, and opportunity for those who need it. Caution
to the blind, this whole rock is spicy.

Overall I'm happy with this and want to open it up in Draft Mode for
initial thoughts. I have a rough timeline on finishing this that
stretches out to the weekend, so the earlier comments are, the more
likely I'll be able to MAYBE do something about it. Thanks for the
patience and hopefully this is a doozy of an update for all our players.

* Makes simple bodycam component `COMPONENT_DUPE_SELECTIVE` (#82310)

## About The Pull Request

The thought only just occurred to me people may want to throw multiple
bodycams with different networks on them onto one mob, and it would be
trivially easy to support, so here.

I used `COMPONENT_DUPE_SELECTIVE` rather than `COMPONENT_DUPE_ALLOWED`
so people can avoid adding two of the same camera (network) to one mob.

## About The Pull Request

The unfathomable curio now only blocks when equipped to the belt slot,
and not when equipped in the hand.

The shielded component now no longer blocks despite not having a wearer,
and does not block if the wearer is not the same as the owner in the
``hit_reaction()`` proc.

Fixes https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/issues/82068

## Why It's Good For The Game

The curio was only blocking while in-hand, rather than how it should be;
in the belt slot. Now it does what it is supposed to.

On top of that, this fixes what I think has been a bug for quite some
time with shield_inhand just not being respected whatsoever with regards
to whether or not the component worked. It only really determined
whether or not you got the sprites added/removed, but didn't factor into
the blocking ability whatsoever.

This also adds logging for crystal activation.

## Why It's Good For The Game

We've had a significant number of admin issues with this crystal being
abused to both grief and killbait people by turning them into clowns as

Coincidentally! Someone else _did_ have an All Nighter runtime!
Well. Time to fix it.

I look into the code, and lo and behold, it seems we're really just not
caring about whether the head actually exists.

	var/mob/living/carbon/human/sleepy_head = quirk_holder
	var/obj/item/bodypart/head/face = sleepy_head?.get_bodypart(BODY_ZONE_HEAD)
	if(face)
		//our overlay is stored as a datum var, so referencing it is easy
		face.remove_bodypart_overlay(bodypart_overlay)
		sleepy_head.update_body_parts()
	QDEL_NULL(bodypart_overlay)
```
Right?
Well, no. Yes, this stops the runtimes, but while testing this I also
noticed that the bags don't come back.
We lose our head, we regenerate a new one, and we don't have bags. Even
though we removed our head, we never actually removed _our bags_.
So our `bodypart_overlay` is never set to null, and it's never actually
attempting to apply them to our new head.
To resolve this, we then just add a new proc called on
`COMSIG_CARBON_REMOVE_LIMB`, which handles removing the eyebags before
we remove our head if needed.
```dm
///if we have bags and lost a head, remove them
/datum/quirk/all_nighter/proc/on_removed_limb(datum/source, obj/item/bodypart/removed_limb, special, dismembered)
	if(bodypart_overlay && istype(removed_limb, /obj/item/bodypart/head))
		remove_bags()
```
Oh, we also remove the unused `client/client_source` argument from both
the `add_bags(...)` and `remove_bags(...)` procs.
SkyratBot 031e483e4d [MIRROR] New station trait job: Human AI (#26823)
* New station trait job: Human AI (#81681)
This PR does many things, I'll try to explain the basic/background stuff
to the main thing first:
1. Adds a new remote that allows a human to function like an AI. It
controls a fly that will fly around the station slowly, and when it
reaches a machine then the person can interact with it as if they were
an AI. This required changing a lot of silicon/AI checks with one that
also checks for this remote, and some messing with shared ui state.
2. Moves req_access from the obj and bot to ``/atom/movable`` which lets
it be shared between the two, no more copy-paste and one side lacking
features/checks/signals the other has.
3. Adds a check for AI config for AI-related station traits, which was
lacking prior
Now for the good part...
Adds a new station trait that replaces the AI with a Human.
This person is equipped with an AI headset (including Binary), an
advanced camera console, an omni door wand, the machine controller, and
their laws.
They are immune to the SAT's turrets (even if set to target borgs) and
are slow outside of the SAT, mimicing the actions of the AI.
They interact with the world through their advanced camera console,
which allows them to do most AI stuff needed, and the holopad they can
connect to without having to ring first (like Command can).
They are given a paper with the laws they must follow, but since they
are human they are able to bend it. Cyborgs that run the default lawset
are "slaved" to them via an unremovable law 0, so the Human AI can bend
the laws if they really need to (for their own survival n such), and
make the cyborgs obey their commands above laws, but in general this
shouldn't be a frequent occurrence. This does take into account the
unique AI trait, so it's not guaranteed Asimov.
When this station trait rolls, all Intellicards, AI uploads, and AI core
boards are destroyed and are unresearchable. They can be spawned by
admins in-game if necessary. Maybe in the future we can also exclude
Oldstation from this but I haven't really decided.
Extra perks:
Human AI spawns with a Robotic voicebox (unless they are a body purist)
and teleport blocking implant, so they can't use teleporters to bypass
their on-station slowdown.
They also have an infinite laser pointer that can be used to blind
through their camera console. This is unfortunately nerfed from the
recent borg balance PR that removed its stun. This was meant to be the
alternative to no longer being able to permanently lock borgs down like
AIs can (or more than one, for that matter).
They aren't affected by Roburgers, Acid, and Fuel's toxicity.
Bots salute them like they do Beepsky (which is now a trait)
They spawn with SyndEye to replace the AI's tracking ability
They do not have a bank account
The machine remote has a little fly in it that flies to the machines it
is pointed to, working as the arms and legs of the Human AI. It scans
the machine and punches in the action the AI does, and is how the AI
accesses basically anything. This fly slowly moves from one machine to
the next, and can be recalled with Alt Click.
It works on machines and bots.
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/53777086/e16509f8-8bed-42b5-9fbf-7e37165a11e8
I've seen a funny screenshot one day of a person replacing the AI by
using a bunch of door remotes, camera console, crew monitoring console,
and a few other things. I've been thinking about that for a few years
and really wanted to make it official if not easier to make possible,
because it is an incredibly funny interaction.
This makes it a reality, and while they aren't as powerful as regular
AIs, I think it makes for better and funnier in-game moments. With the
same weight as Cargorilla (1), I hope this wouldn't be rolling too often
and ruin rounds, but instead show off the different capabilities that
Humans and AIs can do, to do the job of an AI. You win some you lose
some.
John Willard 762779f3f2 Adds a photobooth (#82105)
## About The Pull Request
Adds a photobooth machine to the HoP line which can be used to update
your security records photo.
It updates the records of the person's name, which means hiding your
identity and wearing an ID will let you change other people's photos. If
you aren't hiding your identity and are wearing someone else's ID, it
won't update at all because it will be unable to find your record.
There's 2 variants of this machine, one at the HoP line that's tied
behind Law Office access (so Lawyers have an extra thing they can help
out with if no one's available, but maybe it would be better behind
Library access since Curators are our "photographer" role?), and the
Security one that requires Security access.
The Security one has a special feature that it adds a height chart
behind the player.
![image](https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/assets/53777086/c4eb0661-d752-4052-8006-2898af78c528)
This machine is used by either right-clicking on it or by pressing a
button, so the HoP can do it remotely from their line (except on Tram
where it's in the library), and after a few delays it'll update your
records automatically to how you look like.
Emagging the machine will remove its access restrictions but every time
it updates your photos it will spam camera flashing and blind you.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Current security records has no way to change your photo ID, something
that was a feature before it was moved to TGUI. The only alternative is
to fully delete your record and make a new one with a photo and the same
name, but this shares a major issue with the HTML UI: You're immediately
sold out by the fact you have a background. No matter how well you try
to cover your tracks, any security officer looking at records will see
you are the only photo on the manifest that has a background and even a
camera in your hand, which makes it impossible to get away with it
unless security essentially takes pity on you.
This opens up the ability to fully mask yourself in records, finally.
This is also better even for non antagonists because you can now
properly update your photos to match what you look like in the event of
an appearance change or even just a job change, which makes it a benefit
for HoPs who likes to keep records as up-to-date as possible.
_0Steven 16f6200b65 Alternate job titles such as chef and department security get injected to the manifest normally, and show up as the right department. (#81634)
## About The Pull Request
Previously injecting to the manifest would use solely the mind's
assigned role, thus injecting player with alternate job titles such as
chef and department security as the job they're based off rather than
their actual ID trim.
Then if the manifest were to be updated later on, they would show up as
being departmentless because getting the manifest checks for an assigned
job, which these don't have as they're just alternate titles for an
existing job.
This resolves the first part by checking if it's possible to get a trim
from a held ID and using that before attempting to default to the mind's
assigned role. As building/updating the manifest is done after
equipping, this lets alternate job titles be assigned as their actual
job.
Then the second part is resolved by adding a list of alternate titles
for the job subsystem to register as being that job, so that a job can
have multiple titles which refer to it.
## Why It's Good For The Game
It's annoying to not be able to find these in the right spot on the
manifest, if at all in the first place.
_0Steven bb8c6acecf Make lobby manifest use trim instead of rank to determine command status (#81636)
## About The Pull Request
The lobby manifest shows a symbol next to command roles, one for heads
and for captains respectively, but this stops working when the job title
is changed even though they do still have a head/captain ID.
This is because it compares the registered job title to a set list,
rather than the registered ID trim which is normally unchanging.
Making it use the trim instead solves this issue.
## Why It's Good For The Game
Sometimes people have custom head titles, whether by admin intervention
or just having fun, and then it's just confusing.
This fixes that.
It's also just kinda annoying to see the one custom head not having the
head symbol.
## Changelog
🆑
fix: Lobby manifest shows the head/captain symbols next to heads and
captains with custom titles, as long as they're registered with a
head/captain trim.
Fikou a3fa541e2e Bridge Assistant Station Trait (#80279)
## About The Pull Request
adds a station trait which adds a new role, the bridge assistant
he is designed to help commandeer the bridge and help out other heads
when needed. he is armed with the mini energy gun (the one heads used to
have on kilostation), a flash, a toolbelt (with an inducer), some cool
shades and a swanky scarf.
as he is a nerd he is weak and unable to twohand weapons, preventing him
from wielding the fire axe.
currently he does not have a mindshield but he cannot roll antag
he currently has access to the bridge, announcement console, eva,
teleporter, gateway, maint, and a weapon permit (somewhat (not really
other than for nerds) interestingly this is the first job that isnt
assistant that doesnt have access to any lathes, so he doesnt have orm
access unlike all the other jobs (except assistant))
the trait also makes a coffee machine spawn on the bridge
here is some useful art of your role
## Why It's Good For The Game
Adds upon the station trait job system with a straight forward role that
IS just a human (unlike the cargorilla), and is pretty basic with no
custom assets or whatever other than hud icons
Having the bridge assistant in some rounds seems like a neat way to
protect it since it gets fucked up in like half the time, while also not
having enough mechanical depth or gameplay as to warrant it as a
permanent role
## Changelog
🆑
add: Bridge Assistant job accessible from a station trait.
Ghom 52e4638536 Adds an Indebted negative quirk to the game. (#77138)
## About The Pull Request
This Pull Request brings a new negative quirk to the list of negative
quirks: Indebted. As the title suggests, you start the round with a
pretty high debt of roughly 15.000 credits (give or take up to 1.250
credits), and everytime the account balance would increment, 75% of
what's earned will be pushed toward solving it instead.
Unlike other quirks, it is hidding from medical HUDs and the health
analyzers, because I frankly believe it's quite a stretch putting it on
the same plane as other quirks which are of a more "psycho-physical"
nature. However, examining the medical records will return a remark on
how the quirk holder has had some difficulties paying the checkup bill,
hinting it greatly. Examining their ID accurately will also report the
entity of the debt.
Ok, the PR is now ready. It fancies an achievement and a pin too, for
those who actually extinguish the debt.
## Why It's Good For The Game
I think it's cool to have a quirk that affects players from an angle
different than most of the others. It doesn't affect the mob directly,
brings no positive or negative moodlet, gives items, but it does cripple
what they can do with their own bank account. Sure, it can be
circumverted by "borrowing" another player mob's ID card, but frankly it
has a mild negative value on par with "Family Heirloom" so it's not a
big deal.
## Changelog
🆑
add: Added an Indebted negative quirk to the game, which gives the
holder's bank account a debt averaging at 15000 credits (with a
variation of 1250 cr) and forces 75% of all earnings towards solving it.
A little prize awaits those who actually extinguish it.
