Genuinely, it was a relic and NOT fun at all to lug around this giant machinery that all it did was make it so you could actually GET the artifacts.
It added nothing to the experience and simply made it feel more clunky.
Previously, the field generator REQUIRED you to select what "generator field type" it needed, which was 'used in conjunction with analysis machines to determine correct suspension field type'...
Or, if you did what 99% of every xenoarch player did, you learned how to code dive or used the wiki ("Oh, metal composite = this field gen type").
Someone down the line realized this was a dumb idea and proceeded to axe the types.
Now, I axe the generator entirely. Still leaving this IN here in case someone DOES want to reenable it, but it just makes the whole xenoarch experience that much more worse in my opinion.
Especially when you get to deposits in awkward positions that are sandwiched between two walls, meaning you can't excavate AND use the suspension gen at the same time without choosing one of the tiles to break. Visual example below. X walls, x open space, O artifacts.

* Part 1
-Slashes a LOT of RNG from xenoarch spawns. No longer will you get 5 normal, mundane bowls in a row that all look the same. They're GUARANTEED to have coloration and various effects
- Adjusts a LOT of the RNG of xenoarch spawns.
- Remove shards (was just a glass shard...The most disappointing find you could get)
- Removes rods (See above)
- Removed Cutlery (See above)
- Increases chance for the vampiric statuette to spawn
- Makes the 'syringe' archeology find generate random 3 to 6 random chemicals that get stuffed into the syringe. (Using same blacklist as the xenoflora chem blacklist)
- Readjust spawned /material weights for items. These are ALIEN artifacts. It's boring to get your 20th 'alien wooden bat' of the day. Now it's COMPLETELY random. You might get a glass bat. Or a supermatter bat. Or a diamond bat. Who knows! (Has a blacklist that includes adminspawn materials or materials that would be too strong/make little sense. No durasteel hull knives here!)
- Made things that just spawned "this weapon" spawn a subtype of "this weapon". Things like knives, handcuffs, 'flame' (includes matches now), tanks, and tools will also follow this logic.
- Adjust it so you can get an alien tool AND alien clothes
- Alien remains aren't just useless bones anymore, they spawn with a randomized plasma vessel and organ! Go ask medical to shove it in ya!
(TODO: Test that medical can ACTUALLY shove it in you)
- Removes the no fun 'Oops you accidentally dug too far, the artifact inside breaks!' when it comes to rocky debris because the game never tells you to dig 1 at a time.
- Expands the list of what the replenishing bowl can spawn with. Uses the xenobio plant chemical blacklist. (TODO: Add a 'blacklist' var on said chemicals, sometime)
- Makes it so ARCHAEO_REMAINS_HUMANOID can spawn a random organ.
- Makes it so the ARCHAEO_REMAINS_ROBOT spawns a lost drone pod.
- Makes it so guns are more randomized in xenoarch. They now tell you what bullet type they require
Additionally, they are now a subtype of bullet and can spawn with ANY /bullet. This makes the guns ACTUALLY really weird.
- Makes it so your xenoarch guns will always spawn with some bullets.
-Expands the alien clothes spawn to include the gluttony psy_crown.
- Makes the 'ARCHAEO_UNKNOWN' that was previous broken (and spawned nothing) spawn a rare research sample. (This is generally useless since the circuit printer exists and R&D can be speedran in 10 minutes, but whatever. If your xenoarch finds one in precursor or anomalous you'll be happy.)
- The plant fossil notes to give it to xenobotany and extract it.
- Gives the instrument spawn logic the same as everything else. Subtypes.
- Swaps the 'ARCHAEO_CULTBLADE' cultblade to a new archeology based cultblade. Has SPOOKY effects. (TODO!)
- Adds the library tome to the possible spawn pool for temple digsites (Useless unless you're an antag cult but SPOOKY
- Gets rid of 'digsite animal' as it was completely irrelevent due to bones not being able to put in the xenobio machine to give you animals. (This was a very VERY old feature. I can't even recall how many years ago)\
- Makes every xenoarch effect have its own individual tag.
- Makes it so the artifact analyzer actually gives you an idea of WHAT the artifact will do instead of saying "I dunno boss, go test it and accidentally blow medical up"
- Makes it so the artifact analyzer gives you an idea of how the artifact disperses it's effect, other than using weird super sciency-sounding terms and requiring you to code dive
- Reworks the vampire artifact spawns to make it so you're rewarded for interacting with it via spawning spooky cult-themed objects.
This makes it so there's actually a (small) incentive to experiment with it instead of just proccing it once and going "INTO THE BOX OF THINGS TO NEVER BE TOUCHED AGAIN"
- Better formatting for the anomaly analyzer. No longer will it be a MASSIVE wall of text, especially if it has multiple artifacts!
* Part 2: Guns and Weight
- Adjusts the large artifact find rates. Some things (like the supermatter shard, which could just instakill the xenoarch and the crystal which was useless) were too high, while some (like the construct shell) were too low and would NEVER really be seen. (I've done xenoarch for years now and have only seen ONE construct shell.

- Adjusts the archeology gun logic. Makes it actually functional AND makes it so you can't remove the fancy bullets out of it.

- Adds a note to the archeology gun when examined that it requires ONE bullet at a time. No speedloading these alien guns!
- Makes it so the archeology gun has the proper special HUD state depending on what bullet type is loaded.
- Fixes a few runtimes pertaining to secondary items
- ADDS A DEBUG SPAWN VERB SO I CAN TEST ALL THIS. THIS NEEDS TO BE REMOVED PRIOR TO MERGE.
- Fixes an unintentional = vs == in archeo_melee.dm. It's not completed yet and is in an EARLY wip stage but might as well fix it sooner than later.

- Fixes a few runtimes with material display names. Some didn't have any and would runtime.
- Adjusts and expands the list of the source_material if we don't have a specific material display name. It's supposed to be alien artifacts, so unearthing a ring made of pure meitnerium or a bowl composed of roentgenium is COMPLETELY in the realm of possibility.
* More spawn logic
- Makes material stuffs spawn properly
- Makes the robot pod spawn properly
- Makes the cursedform stop spawning (It served its purpose of confirming stuff worked)

- Makes gasmask able to spawn as either a poltergeist or a voice type.
- Makes the banned materials a list in the proc only once instead of multiple times. (Cuts down on copy paste errors and makes it easier to add to. Could honestly make it a global list but eh.)
- Makes the new_item_mat default to steel correctly.
- Allows for secondary items to have different names and desriptions.
* More Small Artifact Adjustments
- Gives the artifact blade a proper decription
- Makes the vampiric statuette no longer RNG.
- Makes the occult clothing spawn in sets instead of mix&matched
- Makes the research sample (ARCHAEO_UNKNOWN) spawn properly.
- Fixes the syringe from having too much volume and not having the sprites. It's limited to 15u now, but spawns with 5 chems now, 3u each.
- Fixes the alien clothes from having the same name as the alien tool
- Makes it so boats spawn properly.
This is ALL the small artifacts taken care of, fixed, and having additional fluff added to them.
Next, I need to adjust the large artifacts, add feature to the artifact sword, rework the vampiric statue, and see about touching up the other xenoarch code

- Makes the shock maul's description of breaking rocks different. Plays a different sound as well

Item Runtime hotfix

Hotfix to make items not shoot out runtimes.
The game was checking for a variable that was 'null' to see if it has a length, which is something that doesn't occur.
This fixes that by simply making it check to see if it has a possessed_voice variable.

- Makes the vore replicator functional (People can be turned into simple mobs)
- Adds a sanity check to make sure the person inserted into the replicators isn't already transformed.
- Makes it so you can turn player-spawned mice into clothing and it'll treat them like a micro (Still respects prefs and asks for the mouse's confirmation.)
- Fixes a bug where if someone was eaten by someone that was transformed into clothes they would be sent into the void.
Micro Transforming Replicator
Creates a heavily modified version of the xenoarcheology replicator.
One version spawns simple_mobs and the other spawns items.
Creates a proc that allows possession of objects.
Makes both versions able to be found by xenoarcheology.
Features:
Alerts people when they pick up an item that is is a possessed item. Impossible to ignore popup.
Makes it so people TF'd into items can revert back to their normal, pre-TF form.
Makes OOC escape functional (An in-game obtainable escape is still needed to be coded in. That's next on the todo list.)
Gives FAIR WARNING to the person being shoved into the replicator that, hey, you're going to be turned into clothing/an item and possibly used as such. Gives them a second warning as well.
Makes the item's eatable&digestable variables adjust depending on the person's variables before TF'd.
Makes it so the 'voice mob' is properly deleted when digested.
Fixed a bug with the replicator allowing you to put grabs in it. (This will be edited to allow for stuffing people proper in it.)
Makes the medical mouse ray undo TFs.
Additionally, makes it so dead people can't be shoved into the replicator.
TGUI and makes the clothing machine function better.
- Removed a debug log I left in the mouseray while testing.
- Adds a note to the clothing replicator's description that indicates it's an object/clothing replicator.
- Allows you to grab and shove people into the replicator without them being a micro. (Still get the same warning checks as a micro)
- Makes the replicator spit out/drop all of the person's items when someone is shoved into it.
-Fixes a TGUI bug with the clothing replicator that caused it to clash with the normal replicator.

Modernizes code to today's standards.
Also makes it so that simple_mobs that have hands can use two handed weapons and guns correctly.

Enables healbelly for synthmorphs
Allows treating of synyhmorph (IPC, FBP) crew using healbellies.
Does not allow for treatment of prosthethics if still organic.
Tested locally by crowbaring one arm of SSD IPC, welding the other and putting them into healbelly. Damage was slowly removed.
Also tested with organic to make sure I didn't break anything. Worked like a charm!

Introduces the 'Mob Examine' verb, which lives in the right click menu and the IC tab.
This verb is functionally identical to regular examine, except:
-Mob Examine only works on mobs
-Mob Examine will allow you to examine people your character cannot technically 'see', such as in cases where you are in a belly, or in a micro holder, or you are in a locker.
They do need to be visible to the turf whatever you are in occupies though, so it's not like you'll be able to xray people through walls, or inside of other people. However, this should enable people who are being held in hands or in tummies to examine the people around whoever is holding them for purposes of checking prefs and descriptions.
As a note, I did try to add this on to the basic examine verb to make it more seamless, but how examine gathers its targets is not something I really understand, and the way it works totally fails out before it even gets to the code in the verb, so I can't just tell it to run this proc if they're in a belly or a holder, and I didn't want to break it by changing it. SO! Separate verb.

Makes it so the stumble/slip/drop vore prefs are on by default, since you have to have the spontaneous vore option enabled for them to work to begin with.
Also makes both spontaneous vore options off by default for consistency. (And moves the enabling of the pred option to the simple mob file since that's what that was for anyway)

This folder exists to allow Event Management staff to publicly post event files, or for users to contribute them for use by EMs later, as well as a place to point new contributors towards - for instance, the Complete Room Checklist.dmm has everything a maintainer will check is needed for a room.
Templates is for any sort of template an EM or other staff might use on the fly that is not necessarily related to events.
Refer to (and update) the readme.md if any of this changes.

TGMC Ammo HUD Earlyport
Ports over TGMC's Ammo HUD and all relevant code, adapted to work for Polaris's guns. This took me several days, but hey, I learned a bunch. <:
Time to port Aim Mode + Mentorhelp. :3c
- All guns now have an ammo HUD sprite. If one lacks one, it will be ??? or blank, at which point, make an issue report, as all guns should be working by now.
- Guns will display how many rounds they have left until ammunition runs dry.
- Ammo will only count the casings that CURRENTLY have a projectile in them. This is slightly unrealistic, yes, but it is better and more intuitive for the player. This also enables guns like the revolver to work, given they recycle casings.
- Up to 4 ammo HUDs can be displayed at once, but given we lack TGMC's attachments and guncode, you'll only ever usually see 2. TBD on porting over TGMC guncode. <:
- Ammunition for multiple guns has different colors in the HUD based on what you currently have loaded.
- If you're looking at this later on to add new things. DON'T USE _FLASH IN THE HUD_STATE_EMPTY. THE _FLASH IS ADDED ON BY CODE.
- Grenades have a hud_state, pending us ever porting over a grenade launcher. Rockets ALSO have a hud_state.

Organic/Synthethic functionality split
Adds different functionality for when a NIFsoft disk is used on an organic vs synthethic carbon mob.
This is mostly inconsequential, bar for mining NIFsoft, where organics receive respirocytes (as has always been the case), while synthetics receive heat-sink and pressure seals.

Adjusts trees and vendor spawners
Added some weights to the vendor spawners, basically so the hotfoods vendor will appear less often than any other, and some of the more powerful/special vendors appear less often than the normal ones.
Also adjusts the bigtrees. They were originally made just for gateway decoration, but with GB featuring them, they needed to be brought into line with normal stuff. They still have more health than normal trees, but it's less. Also they have stump sprites now.

Adds Temperature Adaptations to Xenochimera Trait List along with Autohiss.
Ran these by Scree (Creator of Xenochimera) and he said these are fairly reasonable adaptations.
They're neutral traits available to custom species, and given that Xenochimera are also able to pretty much mix and match a lot of stuff based on what they've eaten/evolved, this will allow greater roleplay/adaptations to occur - for instance, a xenochimera that is well-suited to the warmth of the desert is going to struggle in cold areas, and vice versa.
(It's conceivable that a Xenochimera might eat a wolf, and adapt/evolve a super-thick coat of fur suited for winter planets.)

Porting a fix made by RobotWeirdo.
-Fix Kimono sprite offset. All the right-facing kimono sprites are now one more pixel to the right. This is because they did not fit to the character properly before and a line of pixels in that was the character's chest was showing.

Xenochimera Feral Reduction in Darkness OR Belly
Xenochimera will now reduce ferality at a tickrate of 1 per Life tick while inside a belly or in darkness, same as the hunger reduction if they're full.
They will not experience hallucinations and will get safety messages while inside a belly, as well as the status indicator confirming they're safe even in a lit environment.
In total:
If sated, feral will reduce by 1 per Life() tick.
If in darkness _or_ a belly, feral will reduce by 1 per Life() tick.
A feral of 220 will take 110 seconds to clear if satiated, not in a belly, and in light.
Alternatively, it will take 55 seconds to clear if satiated **and** either in a belly _or_ in the darkness.

Xenochimera QOL PR
Adds Regenerating + Hatch thrown alerts, similar to stunned/weakened/buckled, and clicking will show the remaining time to revive, or allow you to hatch.
Defibrillators will now apply halloss to Xenochimera and set them feral on revive.
Defibrillators will now apply halloss (pain) to everyone on revive.
Medscanners will now display if a Xenochimera is regenerating or needs more protein, and if a 'chimera is dead, will warn that they require sedation.
Reconstitution cooldown reduced from 1 hour to 10 minutes.
Regeneration will no longer handle ferality in the middle of it, preventing edge-case *twitches while clearly regenerating.
Regeneration will now have an audible + visible cue that plays on a 2% chance.
Xenochimera have gained the Lick Wounds Verb.
Lick Wounds has been modified to allow treating self-injuries, and injuries of the mob next to you. Given how limited the use is and how often bandages + chems are just flat-out better, this shouldn't be a huge balance issue, IMO.

Autoresleever checks for whitelist and if species can be resleeved
As it says.
Autoresleever will abort the spawn attempt if the client is not whitelisted for the species (as currently one can ghost, select an autoresleever, and spawn via it even on a whitelisted species they don't have access to normally.)
Autoresleever will abort spawn attempt for species with NO_SCAN in their flags. This prevents Xenochimera/Proteans/etc from rejoining via Autoresleevers, as per whitelist expectations - Xenochimera even have specific lore stating they contaminate sleevers.
These changes will be applied to regular clonepod + resleeving pod eventually™️

If you click on the auto-resleever while you still have an active synth brain somewhere, it will ask you if you want to delete that brain.
This is to prevent harvesting brain parts from dead people or other weirdness for brains getting turned in after they are killed and auto-resleeved.

Auto-Resleeving
Adds auto-resleeving!
Under normal conditions, this allows one to resleeve their character after they have died in the round.
The auto-resleever requires a bit of time after death to be used:
-Characters who died due to vore reasons must wait 15 minutes
-Characters who died for other reasons must wait 30 minutes
The auto-resleever only requires power, there is no biomass requirement.
The auto-resleever also works for species that can ordinarily not be resleeved, since the potential for abuse there is minimal.
To use the auto-resleever, one only needs to click it as a ghost. If it is ready to revive you, it will pop up a confirmation dialogue.
Additionally, the automatic transcore notification, and the 'Cancel Transcore Notification' verb has been removed. Ghosts have a 'Notify Transcore' verb, which can be used around 5 minutes after death if they wish to notify medical.
This should eliminate false positives for medical, because no one likes resleeving people who don't need it.
This does not otherwise alter the original resleeving process or machines.
The auto-resleever for the tether is on Z1, just south of the psych office. It also features a return chute for items right next to the door. (I wanted to put it in the resleeving room's cleaning room, but it's really far into medical)
The auto-resleever for the stellar delight is in the resleeving's cleaning room.
I also fixed the access on the tourbus's APC while I was there.

Fixed a bug where a micro player could pick themselves up out of storage items if they used alt+click to open it. This would free them, but create an invisible, empty holder item in their hands which could then be placed in storages.
Added the ability for micros (size 25%) and observer mice (size 100% or lower) to drag their sprite over storage items in order to climb inside. Same as if a player were to pick them up and store them.
